Authentic greek sweet and savoury hand-made pastries. The lady behind the counter was super friendly and guided me around the shop to recommend different treats I haven't ever tried, but might enjoy. Sometimes, the taste surprised me as I expected completely different smells and flavours, but that's what makes the experience even more interesting and fun. Another thing that pleasantly surprised me were the low prices for everything I ordered. Highly recommended place if you're after baked goods and local experience.

visited this bakery because of very good reviews. I looked for some good pastry and I found this H Athienou Bakery - and I have to say the reviews did not lie. So many kinds of baked goods and you can choose salty or sweet baked goods, what do you want and what do you like. I tried many kinds of them and each one was really tasty. So if you would be in Larnaca, which is a beautiful city with kind residents, you have to go there:-)

Oh my lord, I've lived in five countries, and this hands down is the best selection of savory and sweet baked goods and breads I've come across - fluffy spanakopitas with whole cooked spinach leaves, tiny spicy lahmacuns, cream fillled pastries with rose water syrup... absolutely mouth-watering, a MUST in the morning or after a walk by the salt lake :)

Piekarnia na Cyprze - dla mnie wielki sukces aby tutaj kupić ciepły chleb. Otwarta codziennie. Oprócz pieczywa są oczywiście słodkie i wytrawne cudeńka. Wszystko w stylu samoobsługowym a następnie idziemy do kasy gdzie Pani nam wszystko liczy. Dzielnica gdzie turyści się nie zapuszczają a warto bo jest bezpiecznie i głównie lokalni mieszkańcy.

What a lovely find. Staff so helpful. The food was delicious. Never had pastry so good and so cheap. What a find.

Great selection of sweet and savoury treats, both large and small so you can pick several smaller treats to try. Try the sausage roll pastry and all the others! Lovely service too and great English speaking team but still had a very local feel (tucked away from the main beach front).

Słodkości bardzo fajne poza tortami i ciastami próbowaliśmy chyba wszystkich. Szczególnie polecam ciasteczka kokosowe i migdałowe. Nie próbowałem "wytrawnych" wypieków ale wybór ekstra.

Amazing bread and pastry! Such a deal! Koupa is the best I ha din Cyprus! The lady (and all the staff) are amazing and very friendly. Going here feels like visiting my grandma. Very welcoming and smells good! All bread are made fresh daily :)

I go here every day on my way to work, and they have the best cheese pies i have ever tasted. They have super tasty pastries and sweet stuff as well. But man that cheese pie alone is worth coming here. 10/10

Beautiful bakery, so many delicious things to choose from. Immaculate store, and friendly staff. Bread lacked salt, and some of the pastry was very thick on some items.

Large selection of breads pastries and cakes, all with the wonderful local taste of Cyprus. The huge Tahionpita is excellent and the cheese boreka to die for.
