I had referral to use Action. Called them and set up everything and mentioned that I am living in a condo and need to book the elevator and I will be charge for that. They were late at that day. I called many times. they gave me wrong driver then someone else called me said they are on their way. They were late and I was told by my condo that I also have to pay extra using the elevator which I called Shannon and explained and she said 2hrs is more than enough. When the two guys showed up they didn't even have a simple screw driver! To open up my furniture that I already confirmed on the phone. they told me that they messed up with the schedule and they weren't supposed to be my movers. anyway they were trying their best I could tell but they were already tired. by the time we left the condo it was already 3hrs and they charged me 50$ penalty which Shannon said she will take care of that which never did. When they were done unloading everything in the new place it was 8hrs already! They broke my lamp and two of my glasses which I saw later. They gave me paper works and said they will buy a replacement bulb for me which was less than 70$ and they never did. I was super tired and wanted to go to bed layed on the bed resting my back all of a sudden the headboard broke! they left all the screw behind the bed and left and never said anything so at least I know. Anyhow I've been calling Shannon, emailing her several times and no response. I paid almost 1000$ and yes another 200$ is not much but I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM.

Action Moving made my move so much easier and more enjoyable. I did a lot of reading and comparisons ahead of choosing movers, as I've had bad experiences in the past, and in the end it was a toss-up between this and one other company, decided by Shannon just being so lovely. And I'm so glad I went with Action! We had Cal, Kevin, and Tyrell move us, and they were incredible. Super cheerful and upbeat, organized, careful, thoughtful, and extremely fast. We have a truly obscene amount of stuff (partner and I both have several space-intensive hobbies), and I was grossly underprepared for them. There were several loose boxes/totes and other awkward things that I ran out of time to prep and expected to just do a few runs on our own once they were done moving the majority, but they just said, "no problem, we've got it." They saved us several hours of time that I'd already accepted as gone. And they did it all with a smile. Our new place is mid-reno, and they were a lot more concerned about dents and scratches than I was - they had two sets of stairs that they had to navigate with heavy furniture, and they were extremely careful with everything. Oh! And they put our bed together (much more solidly than I've ever accomplished) *and* arranged our bedroom for us. Stellar. The bill ended up considerably less than I'd expected, too. All together it was a great experience - I recommend Action to anyone and everyone.

I booked an urgent move on the phone with Chaise. I was fleeing a domestic situation. He took all my info and gave me a quote. The morning of the move there was only 2 able bodied workers and 1 that was on modified duty. This was a Monday right before Christmas. Late afternoon Chaise told me that the movers were unable to complete my move and the earliest they would move the other half of my stuff was the Friday, 5 days later. I told him that was unacceptable as none of my kids stuff was loaded and they didn't have any of their stuff. I asked to talk to his manager and he laughed and told me that the manager wouldn't be calling me. So I had to pay more than quoted, only had half of my stuff and one worker who couldn't lift more than 50 pounds. I still haven't received a call back from the manager/owner and actually cancelled them and hired Highland Movers who were fantastic for the last half of the move. The workers were great and sympathetic to my situation. They worked in -30 and were troopers. I will never refer this company nor use them again in the future.

We recently moved using Action for the move. I was sure I would be giving them a fair rating up until the last hour of the move. We told the office people that we had a couple of antiques and a couple of heavy items. One being a 300 lb. statue. The movers carefully wrapped and secured and moved this heavy item to the new house with no problems. Then the worse happened. One mover decided to try moving the statue by himself. It took three to load it but Hercules thought he could handle it by himself. It fell and broke in half. Upon calling the manager he informed us that they did not move statues and they would not reimburse for the damages. So.... if they do not move statues why did they wrap, load and relocate this one? Why didn't they refuse it? So folks. My advice to all reading this. Move on from this company. Use another company that would actually care about your items and that would stand behind their service and reputation. Rude manager, lousy integrity. Definitely deserve less than one star rating.

This moving company is absolutely wonderful! We had Stephen, Raven and Johnny and I had never had a better experience with a moving company. They were extremely professional, on time, and did their job efficiently! They provided some good quality entertainment and jokes while working and you can tell they love what they do. Two of them carried a 400 pound treadmill up a curved set of stairs from our basement like it was nothing- it was quite incredible to watch. I cannot recommend this company and movers more. They are worth more than just a 5 star review. We had furniture in storage with Action Moving and Storage after our move and just had it taken out and delivered to a new address. This time we had Bernie and Edward who were as professional, and extremely helpful! They went above and beyond our expectations. Action Moving and Storage not only hires exceptional people they are a first rate company to deal with. I highly recommend them and their staff

Hi. If you need a great quality...great value.. totatally professional and responsive moving company, Action should be your choice. They provided excellent service on our move from Bon Accord to Bonnyville, AB. Shannon came to our home to give us an estimate and a very reasonable flat rate price.. Steve, Cody, and Travis showed up on time and worked like mad for 10 hours to get everything packed and loaded. They are very polite, cheerful and upbeat young (to us) men! Everything was well wrapped and padded; nothing was broken or damaged in transit, and our full freezer was kept plugged in overnight. The next day they arrived at Bonnyville, again on time, quickly unloaded and placed things where we wanted them...then packed up and were on their way. We were very impressed with everything about this company...(especially Travis, Cody, And Steve, THANK YOU and kudos to you you guys!)..and highly recommend Action Moving!

If you have seen the news and reports on W5 or any other news channel of how brutal and sketchy moving companies can be, you need to reed this review because not only have I seen these reports on terrible movers but it happened to me with a terrible company out of lethbridge. BUT Action Moving have completely changed my mind. I cant remember when I have got such great service from start to finish. Office staff Shannon and Julie, won me over with polite professionalism and empathy with my awful experience with a different company. Then come the movers Nathan and Dallas. Absolutely amazing people, very hard workers constantly smiling, huge amounts of pride in their jobs. I will hire them again and nobody else, even if I have to pay them for my move in lethbridge. This company is amazing. I cant thank them enough just amazing from start to finish. I'd recommend this company to anyone.

I am extremely happy with my experience with Action Moving. Shannon got back to me within 1 business day with a very reasonable quote for my 1 bedroom apt move, and immediately got me booked in when I called the next day. My movers were Kevin and Preston, and these guys were super sweet! They showed up early and were extremely polite, friendly, and ensured all my fragile items were well taken care of. They also worked very quickly to minimize the amount of time I had to pay for. My bedframe was extremely complicated to take apart and rebuild, and they were happy to help me with taking it apart for moving and rebuilding it when I told them I had no idea how to. Would absolutely recommend this team to anybody who is looking for an affordable, professional moving company. They made my experience smooth and stress free.

I only use action moving for my moves (At least 10 times so far), and there’s a reason. From booking with Shannon in the office, it’s always friendly, pleasant and professional. To the actual movers who come. They are fast (No time wasted), friendly, and nothing has ever been broken. They always ask where I want things and have jumped in to help me pack when I wasn’t 100% done myself. Great guys! Great company. Once I tried a cheaper but still well known company, and they broke my stuff, hiked the price up once they were all done and tried intimidating my senior mother for an extra 700 dollars. Prices are very reasonable at action moving and cheaper is NOT better. These guys are the best. I always seem to get Bernie and Cal, and they are fast, efficient and nice! Hired Action Moving to pack and move our house. I chose Action because of Shannon's quick and friendly response to my request for a quote. The team that came to pack and move was respectful, friendly, and worked hard. They weren't afraid to ask questions, and kept a positive attitude, even when our move took longer than expected. It wasn't until we went back to our old place to clean that we noticed all the things left behind. With the packing, the boxes could've been labeled better and placed in the correct room. Care was taken with fragile items, but other things were just thrown willy-nilly into boxes and it's taking forever to find things as we unpack. I would use this company again for moving, but I will pack myself in the future.

It has been one month since my move and I am still waiting for response on some shelves they lost during move. First I had issues with my 1600 bill to move a two bedroom apartment. Action agreed they over billed and refunded me 300 if I would take my review down. I did as they asked but then noticed I was missing 2 shelves for corner cabinets of my HUTCH. I have been phoning for 4 weeks now and the receptionist says they found one shelf, however the management team never returns my call. Do I just wait indefinitely for you to bring me the one shelf you found?? Maybe you should take that shelf and get a duplicate cut? This is so unprofessional for the money I paid you. I feel they completely took advantage of older single woman.

Fairly last minute we had to move my mom from a senior's lodge to long term care. It was a small move and only a short distance with everything coming to our garage, nevertheless Action Moving came through for us in a very short time for a reasonable price. The two movers were on time and worked quickly and well together and had the job done in a flash. There was an error made on the invoicing which we paid but it was credited back to us within 24 hours by the extremely friendly, competent and professional first contact managers Shannon and Julie. They made this stressful time in our lives so much easier and for that we are grateful. I would not hesitate to refer Action Moving or use them again ourselves.

I have never experienced such poor service from a company that claims they treat their customers like family. During the storing of my items and delivery of my items all of the large pricier pieces were damaged. I was compensated minimally and the process took 4 months to receive a damage claim cheque. During that time I asked repeatedly through phone call and emails to speak with the owner of the company Darek Wojtalik. I wanted to share my experience (that is all I wanted) and he refused to take my calls or answer my emails - very disappointing for the Owner/Director of a company to treat his customers in that manner. I would never recommend this moving company to anyone - customers please be aware.

I’m only giving 1 star because the two fellows were so great! I will NEVER use this company again. I booked the move to take a maximum of one hour as we were simply moving from one storage unit to another unit at the same location. Office said no problem and booked one truck and two fellows. They were early which was appreciated and were done in less than one hour. Great so far right? When it came to the billing, there was an additional ONE HOUR tacked on for TRAVEL! Hmm, that was never discussed or even brought up in the conversation we had not in the estimate of costs sent to me. What should have been $149 plus taxes turned out to be $252.32.

We had a great overall experience with Action Moving and Storage. From the initial estimate and booking with Shannon to the actual move with the movers, it went well. We moved our 1900 sqft home in one of their trucks. The moving team was respectable and easy to work with . They are flexible and accommodating and really there to ensure your happy and get as many things moved for you as they can. They also treated our things with respect to ensure it got transported without damage. We also liked how it was a flat rate and no hidden costs ! Would highly recommend! We have always had a great experience with Action Moving. Action Moving has great communication (from booking to follow-up) and their movers take the time to explain the charges up front. Stephen, Jig, and Blake did a fantastic job moving my items to my new house. There were no damaged items and no damaged or scuffed walls. This included getting a treadmill and one of those big ikea bookcases out of the basement (my staircase was curved), I didn't think it could be done but they did it no problem. They treated me with respect. I don't plan on ever moving again but would hire them without hesitation. 5 stars.

Very impressed by these people. First of all ..the trucking company I was going to use fell short at last moment. I called them on that same day ..and without hesitation they said they vould right away. On phone extremely professional and courteous. I was in a tight spot and they were empathic to my problem..nice to see that. They were at my place within an hour. The two men were professional, quick and understanding. Thomas and John made the move to our new home so amazing. They were professional, courteous, responsible, careful, and timely. We moved from two apartments into a house and they made it look easy. I hope I never need to move again, but if I do, Action Movers is going to be on my list. They were less expensive than much of their competition, but had superior service. Don't get fooled by some of the big companies with big advertising budgets. This company was awesome to deal with. I can't recommend them, and the duo of Thomas and John. Try and request them if you can. You will not be disappointed.

The Team at Action Moving were professional and very experienced. We really did appreciate the service they provided to us and they made our move less stressful. AMAZING! At the beginning working with the office staff to schedule the move and get an estimate was quick, very friendly. We worked with Thomas, Andy and Justin. They were right on time. Very easy going, very open and honest, extremely professional and quick. They took care of all our furniture very well. They wrapped everything breakable. Very friendly to my few animals. I jumped in to help and they told me to relax. Once at the new home, again very quick and very careful with all our stuff. Very accommodating. Wouldn't hesitate to hire these guys again or tell others about them.

Bernie and his 2 other helpers arrived at the storage unit on time and ready to go! When they arrived to our new home they put down runners from the truck all the way into the house. This kept the snow from being dragged in. They put down runners and moving blankets through out the home to keep our floors and rugs clean. They worked hard and effectively while being able to have a few laughs along the way! It was a great experience! Thank you Action Moving. Best experience ever! Thanks to Thomas, Dallas, Steve and Lurik, moving process was smooth and delightful, I almost felt shame watching the guys filled up two trucks and got things right into the new house. They were polite, strong and happily working, made my moving day so much easier. Uninstalled, moved and installed so smoothly. John and Thomas were amazing! They helped me move last week. They arrived exactly as scheduled, and got to work straight away. They knew how to move everything as efficiently and safely as possible. I have an adjustable bed frame that shifts and folds, and it had always been a struggle in previous moves. John and Thomas had equipment to move it no problem. The entire job was done super quickly, and they were super friendly and professional. They seriously made moving a breeze - will definitely be using Action Moving again in the future.

Action Moving and Storage was fantastic!! Steve, Cody and Jaron moved our stuff into storage and then Steven, Cody and Ashley brought it back to us 6 weeks later!! I booked my move pretty last-minute but they were able to accommodate. We were booked for ETA of 12 noon to 2pm. To me, that is a pretty wide window and could potentially lead to me waiting around, so I was glad when Caleb called to update when they were already on their way giving me time to finish my errands. Robert, Andy, and Caleb arrived promptly to start the move at noon. They were respectful, took care of my belongings, appreciative, and overall they were efficient. They also communicated and worked well with each other

The movers were respectful, polite, and enthusiastic about the move. My issues were with the time stretching and standing around talking I noticed. So what unloaded in 1 hour, took 2.5 hours to load. Also took them quite a while to arrive at the storage unit to unload, and wasn't expecting the 1 hour travel time cost to be an additional hour that wasn't part of the time they were on the job, but that's my own misunderstanding. I moved less than half the quantity of a 3 bedroom townhouse and it cost me $1000. Not impressed.

I would highly recommend action moving, they were friendly, professional, extremely thorough and careful with all of my belongings. My cat had escaped my condo unit (to no fault of there own) and not only were they concerned, but they helped me look for her for quite some time. (She was found!) They went above and beyond and found careful, innovative ways to get my furniture into my new place. 10/10 experience, would definitely use them again and have told others about my positive experience with them.

I was very pleased with everyone involved in my recent move. Action Moving recently moved my parents from a 60 year old farmhouse to a condo in Beaumont. Completely professional. Prompt, friendly, helpful. I don't want to do another move like this -ever- but this is the company I would use! Shannon in the office was excellent, the website inventory made estimating and planning easier, and their moving day staff put my elderly parents at ease. And the final cost was under the estimate and still reasonable. Good value for excellent quality service.

I am so impressed with the movers I had. They were amazing at packing the moving van so well! I was sure that a lot of my stuff would get left behind, but everything fit! Hats off to Jason B.! John B. and Greg handled all my furniture and boxes with care and strength. No problems getting huge and heave wardrobes and an elliptical out of the basement. No damages and everything arrived in my new home safe and sound. I highly recommend them! If I could give 6 stars, I would! Thanks guys!!

We hired Action moving to move our mother's items into storage. Misha and Andy showed up exactly on time, prepared and ready to go. They were extremely efficient, kind and attentive. They moved with no delay, safely and without damage. At the receiving end, they unloaded exactly as we wanted, were very careful and attentive with the belongings and were an absolute pleasure to deal with. I was pleased with the service I received from my telephone inquiry to the move. Staff were polite, professional and most importantly, each one seemed to enjoy their work. Great Service and good price, First time hiring movers and i would use Action again and again The men that worked on the move were very polite and respectful. They worked hard on a hot day. I would say we had no issues ( there was one small wall nick when they moved a freezer but they offered to fix it and so i am satisfied) Can’t say enough good things about them. Booking was easy and they showed up in the time window we booked.

Great service!! I was quoted for 9 hours of work and the guys were done in 4 hours. Very nice and friendly. Shannon and Chase were excellent to speak with over the phone, very professional and helpful. Andy and Steve were friendly and swift. Arrived on time, moved everything without hassle quickly and without any damage. Quote was beyond reasonable and although we worried we had too much they handled it quickly and efficiently. Can't recommend them enough!

Cody Kevin and Chris showed up ready to work by 9 am and were phenomenal! They were absolutely amazing and hard working. These guys helped us take apart our 4 kids bedrooms moved it and rebuilt all the furniture within 6 hours! I am blown away by the service these men offered my family and I. The three men that helped us move were very professional. They arrived on time with all the proper materials needed to move our entire home safely. They showed up on time, didn’t take an overly long break, we’re able to move my extremely heavy mattress into my house around corners up the stairs with just two of them. Very impressed with that. My glass bar shattered, but they gave me 1/2 hr off for that. But I’m heart broken that I’ve lost my beloved indoor cat with winter coming up.

I would recommend this company. They have tons of extra supplies to help protect delicate items and will even help you pack if needed. One person on the original team called in sick the morning of our move but Action was able to find a replacement. They took great care of our belongings and completed the move with extra hours to spare.

The 2 guys were super helpful moving a fridge out of our camper and a new one in our camper! It was a harder task then we could've imagined and they kept at it. We now have a new fridge in our camper and we couldn't have been happier with the service!
