I did not have a good experience with Elan hair studio. I paid over $350 for a balayage and it looks absolutely nothing like the reference photo that I showed. I have had balayage done about 5-6 times previously at different salons where I used to live, and they have all had a soft gradient from dark at the roots to light at the ends. This dye job was the opposite! The ends are almost black with blond at the top so I look ridiculous. I went back to the salon in hopes that they could do damage control, and I was told they didn’t have time to fix it this weekend. I left very upset because I also work with people and if someone was unhappy with my work I would make sure to stay late or come early to make things right. Now I will have to shell out another few hundred dollars to have someone fix it ASAP because I can’t leave it like this. For reference, I have added a photo of the what I showed them from Pinterest, and what I left with. UPDATE: for whoever responded that I came back in on Sunday - I immediately called the salon Saturday after I left the appointment and I was told to come back in on Sunday. Not sure why you would tell me to come in Sunday if you “weren’t open”.

When buying some hair products I wasn’t told that they were non-returnable if they didn’t come with a seal. I was having some issues with my hair so I ended up buying other products. I went the next day to return the products. I was told that I wasn’t going to be able to return them because they couldn’t tell if I used them because they didn’t come with a seal. If that was the case, why didn’t you tell me when I was buying them? It doesn’t even make sense because I was told that I couldn’t return the products because they did not come with a seal . So how is that my fault that the products did not come with a seal? And if that was the case, you should’ve told me when buying the products that were final sale because they did come have a seal. It just seems like a way not to refund customers. How about actively telling each customer that anything sold without a seal is final sale otherwise, I kind of feel you are purposely being dishonest. The only good thing is that the girl who helped me Amanda was very nice. I don’t think it’s her fault because it seems that the management is in control of these issues.

Last 3 weeks ago, I done my Kashmir Keratin Treatment. I am really late to post this. I had wavy/ curly frizzy hair. I tried many hair products but was not able to manage this. I shared my concerns with Kristine and Nikki. They introduced me about this treatment. I also mentioned that I need my wavy hair but not straightened hair. Kristine was very patient with each and every strand of my hair. I really loved the process and was really looking forward for the result. I WAS REALLY SURPRISED WITH THE RESULT After 1 week my hair was the way that I always wished! It was smooth, silky, easily manageable, easily dries off and my curls are still there. I would highly recommend who ever wants to kick out the frizziness of the hair and wants smooth and manageable hair. ❤️ Also the vibe inside the salon was so calming for me. The interior design was really eye catching! Great work Nikki and Team Great Work Kristine !

Keratin treatment was not effective at all! Did not even last one wash, the effect is like getting a hair mask at home but for $300, hair is still frizzy and unruly. Had treatments at other salons and they were always great. Beware they will make you sign a waiver to use against you if you end up being unhappy with the result. Dhesiree and Cassie were super nice, however the owner (Nikki), did not take ownership to rectify or provide a resolution, instead accused of not using sulphate free shampoo even though I stated that only sulphate free was used and blamed not getting the recommended after care products which they did NOT have in stock which she kept denying to not take accountability. Disappointed by result and treatment from owner, did not expect that, do not recommend this salon or the keratin treatment that is offered. Zero stars NEVER again.

Elan Hair Studios has a great environment with talented, knowledgeable staff. Kendra is a very skilled stylist who thoroughly loves what she does! After going to the same hair stylist for 15 years I decided to make a switch, and choosing Kendra was a refreshing choice! She has given my hair new life with an amazing colour palette and convinced me to take the plunge in getting an undercut - a decision which I thank her for every time I see her! Always greeting her clients with a smile, taking the time to discuss options for a cut, colour or a brand new style, and going the extra mile to ensure I have everything I need to make my experience at Elan as comfortable and relaxing as possible is what makes Kendra the perfect choice for your forever stylist!

I've been seeing Brittany at Elan Hair Studio for several years and always love coming in to get my hair done! Brittany does an amazing job every time, and when my bridal party came in to get our hair done for the wedding, all of the stylists did an amazing job and everyone was thrilled with their looks :) When you come in for your appointment, you are offered complimentary water, tea and/or coffee, and they now offer a wine menu which is a really nice option. This all adds to the great atmosphere which is very welcoming. I would highly recommend this salon- all of the stylists are passionate about doing hair and keeping on top of the latest styles and techniques, and everyone is super friendly!

Went to Élan for the first time today and could not possibly recommend anyone better than Cassie, she is clearly a pro at what she does! She was so patient and caring with my hair and took the time to do some seriously dimensional highlights, I have never looked so blonde! The overall vibe of the salon was super welcoming, colourful and bonus they had a variety of snacks and beverages! I also appreciated that my stylist went over the pricing and expectations with me before hand, but honestly for how impressed I am with the results the price was very reasonable! Would definitely recommend :)

After a day of research, I decided to give Elan a try. Having a haircut in Winnipeg isn't cheap, so I had to be sure to go to the right salon, otherwise I'd end up wasting money on a bad haircut. I originally went for a pixie cut and my hairstylist, Hannah, was ready to give me what I've asked for. But, at the same time, she also offered her professional advice on what haircut might suit me better. I ended up trying on her suggestion, which was a very good decision because I am so happy with my hair right now. My friends at work complimented me on my new haircut. Thanks, Hannah and Elan!

Took a bit of research but i finally settled on Élan! I have a very picky colour and cut, and my stylist was able to perfectly duplicate what i had, despite my not being able to remember the exact colours and brands that had been used on my hair previously. Jenna did an amazing job and ill be seeing her regularly now to keep up with my style!!!!! i will definitely be recommending others try this studio. it's a gorgeous salon, clean, and staff is very knowledgeable. Thank you guys for an amazing experience. can't wait for my root touch ups, and to plan my next hair adventure!

Hi I’m Kaylah and my hair is currently blue. I found Elan Studio by chance as they had an opening before I had an event and I’m so glad I did! I needed my roots either rebleached and coloured or darkened and blended and we chose the later, also with a hair cut. Adara is so wonderful and friendly, she really makes it a great experience to have to sit for so long. She made sure I didn’t leave until she’d done the best job she could do and it turned out wonderful. She was very efficient and quick! Will definitely be back to see her again.

I've been seeing TJ at Elan Hair Studio for quite a few years now and she saved my hair! She delivers on anything I ask her to do and way beyond my expectations..for example..a box dye black to a blonde (without a ton of damage), she has taught me how to properly take care of my hair, and always makes my hair so beautiful. I always get numerous compliments after my appointments with her. The staff are always extremely friendly and courteous as well, and the environment is very comfortable and enjoyable.

Elan, the salon, is a fantastic salon and I love my stylist Jamie! She is very professional and found a product that actually works on my hair and does not turn it black! I went there about 5 weeks ago for having a blonde hair correction . I was with Cassie , she assure me that she will be able to fix it with all good confidence . I trusted her , spend 4 hours and 360$ later my hair is horrible . She didn’t even dye my hair she just put some toner and now after 2-3 wash my hair is still horrible . I can’t believe I trusted her , I can’t believe I let her did my hair . I am very not happy and wouldn’t recommend this place to ANYONE

Nikki is absolutely amazing! Started seeing her 6 months ago just for a hair cut, then decided on a whim to go from black to icy blonde. She knew how bad I wanted to just go straight to blonde, but took pride in not only her work but keeping my hair as healthy as it could be! 4 sessions later we got the exact look I wanted and my hair is just as strong as it was when it was black. Did a lengthy search for a new salon, then decided to follow my gut and go with this place and Renn. Came with no set idea about what I wanted done, just knew my post-Covid haircut was long overdue. Renn started cutting and chatting away, and after an hour of a really pleasant, laid-back interchange, my hair ended up looking the most amazing it's ever been. Mykayla and the people at this salon are the bomb dot com. I have curly frizzy super long hair and I walked out of here looking like a million bucks. Everyone is super friendly, the shop is kept clean constantly, and I got some awesome tips for my hair type. I went to get my Balayage refreshed by Nikki, the outcome is attached below(Or at least I tried to attach it). She did a truly outstanding job, and also, has an incredible personality. I believe it took around 5 hours to achieve my desired look, however talking to Nikki made time fly by. She is not just very talented with hair services but also knows how to make her clients feel welcomed and comfortable. I highly recommend her.

Marycel at Elan is truly a master stylist. She has been styling my hair for a number of years and she is the only stylist who has ever been able to facilitate hair growth and ongoing health in my hair. Despite many many colours and cuts, my hair has truly flourished under her care. I strongly recommend Marycel. The whole salon is super friendly yet casually sophisticated - a perfect marriage for great me-time.

Boutique style hair salon. I like the interior design. The customer service is outstanding, and their stylists are very professional and punctual. You won't be disappointed. I usually colour my hair at the salon every month, and this place is one of my favorite so far. I love the line of hair products that they use, smells great and improves my hair. The prices are competitive, nice location.

The online booking is nice and convenient. They both emailed and called to confirm my booking the day before. Rachel is a great stylist. Only person I'll pay to cut my hair. Knowledgeable and friendly and easy to work with. I just cut off 15 or so inches and couldn't be happier with the experience. Lots of street parking is always available. Salon's interior design is really awesome too.

Elan hair studio is 40 minutes from my house through frequent heavy traffic areas and after I made the switch from the salon down my street to Kendra at Elan I haven't regretted my choice. She is knowledgeable and creative, always giving me something new and I trust her completely. Her smile always seems to turn around a bad mood and I find myself looking forward to my next appointment.

Jamie is amazing. She's so talented and every time I get my hair coloured or cut I leave feeling like I have beautiful hair and that my expectations have been exceeded. Had my hair cut and styled by Marycel and I LOVE it! It was really busy but I did not feel rushed one bit. She listened to my requests and took her time with me. To be honest I haven't been feeling good about myself these past couple of weeks...but with her talent she picked me right up! I was recommend to her by my friend and I'm so glad she did that!
