Clifton Beach, also known as Sea View is a beach in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan and is located on the Arabian Sea. It stretches from Karachi to Ormara (Balochistan). The beach is very popular in Pakistan. It is open 24/7 for the general public. Karachi is the most prominent coastal city of Pakistan and beach lovers here have many opportunities to visit different beaches bordering the Arabian Sea. Clifton Beach is purported to give the best value in leisure and recreational opportunities for fun seekers and beach lovers. In recent times, the area surrounding the beach has seen massive commercial activity as it is located in one of the most sought after localities in Karachi. The beach is now home to multiple local leisure activities including camel rides, buggy rides, horse rides, plastic plane flying among others. The Seaview Apartments across from the beach is a gated residential area which is rated among the top properties in the city. Other apartments and villas which can be seen along the Clifton beach coasts are becoming popular as well.

The sea view is a peaceful place where family spend time together and enjoy . But it seems that no efforts are being put in to maintain the beach. This not only disrupts the scenery but is also effecting the oceanic life . And like always we always put the blame on the government when we ourselves are being so irresponsible . It may seem as just a small piece of trash but that same trash from everyone makes it a dump . It's is the governments responsibility to find a sustainable solution and the people do be more careful and vigilant . Another attraction at the sea view are the horse and camel rides . But the animals are not maintained properly which is a sad sight to see . But we as a city being blessed with the sea should be more considerate to our environment and everyone around us .

Clifton beach commonly known as sea view is the famous beach in Karachi where people come from all places to enjoy. During weekends this beach is crowded with people however in weekdays you can spend good time here. Camel riding, horse riding and 4 wheel bike rides are available for kids. There is also an amusement park named chunky monkey but now a days it's closed due to Covid-19. I am giving 4 stars because there is no proper arrangements of drinking water, washrooms, changing rooms and dustbins at this beach and the beach is also not much clean. People used to through plastic bottles and rappers at beach due to unavailability of bins.

This used to be a very beautiful beach. Loved it as kids. Nowadays it seemes very polluted. In past we would find sea weeds and some signs of marine life like star fish etc washed ashore but naw adays you can hardly find any signs of marine life. it appears some major waste water drains are directed in sea nearby as water smells and a lot of waste is washed ashore. Recent days there have been drives to clean the beach but it will not take affect unless the waste water coming into the sea from nearby is diverted.

Sadly the beach is not in a good condition. The colour of the sand is blackish and it smells very bad after sewage. Add to this there are also some guys who offers there Strandbuggy for a ride, so it is also very loud. There a more beautiful places to visit. But if you ignore the smells and the look of the sand then you can enjoy a nice sunset.

Dirty, full of clutter, no health and safety, sewage water runs over beach from nearby colonies and businesses. No coast guards and police presence. This part of beach is always busy people but nothing for them other than sea. You are on your own over there. Big Fat Zero for Clifton council and management.

Should be much better than it is. Beautiful view of the ocean and Karachi Skyline but unfortunately the experience is ruined by the dirty beach and the constant peddling of rides on camels, horses and buggy’s. There really needs to be something done about them because they ruin a beautiful site.

The place is only for the scenery like Sunset and morning view (saare pese is hi k hain), jagah ko to hum ne phir se ganda kardia hai. There is no problem in taking our garbage with ourselves and leave our surroundings pure. It is my Earth, my problem and my responsibility to keep it healthy.

Best to visit in the morning for jogging and sprinting.. As the sand provides drag which will give sick calves.. Not suitable to visit after 10 or 11. People should take care of the beach as if their own house. They are destroying a beautiful beach day by day seaview's state is getting worse

There is only way of entertainment is car ride; Camel ride & horse ride in v.reasonable price Beach is v dirty no lights or sitting place over here No any food street either few expensive restaurants Different cart's of food are petroling like ice cream cart ; corn cart etc

If dirty beach has a synonym then I would say it Clifton Beach. Untreated sewage water has made the sand fully black and government puts zero effort to make it clean. It can be a good and clean picnic spot but people and government should play their roles.

Always enjoy visiting there. . lots of childhood memories. The best time is early morning. I wish they improve the cleanness there.. Karachites do not have much parts or visiting places. Seaview or Clifton beach is the only beach closest to the city..

Cheapest place to have a good deep breath. However, the sewerage pipes have made breathing a little harder these days. Used to be dirty with litter everywhere, but now it's getting better maintained, maybe for new brands to invest.

The beach is full of plastic and other garbage. This place has weird smell of garbage as well. I don't suggest anyone to visit there until it is cleaned by government. The good things were horse , camel and car rides. …

not as good when you are out in a beach in balochistan . The other things like doing car riding camel and horses ridings facilities make this place a good one specially for kids otherwise see is not giving you a cosy feeling ...

Need major improvements like Rest Rooms, Affordable restaurants, Family area, children's playing area with barrier to reach near the sea, etc etc.

Need to be improvement not only by Government but also by public as well Awareness regarding cleanliness should be communicated to general public

Good spot to catch the sunset and a ride in a beach buggy. Beach is very dirty and full of trash, however, so enter the water at your own risk.

Nice place for the visiters comming from outside karachi. Some horse riders have not good behavior. Visit in evening times that are rush hours.
