I visited doctor Muhammad Ahmed Saeed at National Hospital in July 2022. My wife had swelling and severe pain in her right foot. After charging us Rs. 4000 as fee, his staff asked us to wait for our turn. For a 5 PM booked appointment, we waited till 6:15 PM. After a long wait, on entering doctor's room we found him in discussion with another person, perhaps from his staff. He just kept on talking with that person for another 15 minutes without saying a word to us. He then just left the room saying that he is coming back in few minutes. It was very unpleasant response from the doctor as we had waited for 1.5 hours so far. His assistant doctor then started asking us questions and taking notes. We waited another 15 minutes and then the doctor finally joined us. Doctor got updates from his assistant and then quickly checked the patient. He was in hurry and was not attentive to our questions or the feedback we wanted to share. I tried discussing the condition and was looking for doctor to work a bit more on the diagnosis of the actual cause of the pain and swelling in the foot. However, though he had charged us heavy fee, he was not interested to give us proper time and to look for proper diagnosis. He even didn't try to move the affected foot to find out which part of it is actually hurting. In few minutes, he prescribed tests and medicines for 1 month and asked us to come again after 1 month. His diagnosis proved inaccurate later on as per test reports. We discontinued his prescribed medications after 5 days and my wife recovered in less than 2 weeks with rest and foot massage. A test by the doctor revealed my wife having autoimmune disease causing anemia. I shared the result with the doctor asking him any change in medicine as per this new finding. He asked us to keep using the same medicines for the whole month and then come again with fresh appointment. This was enough to make us realize that the doctor is not paying due attention and was interested in another appointment. Such doctors see patients just as appointments generating money for them. They have least concern about the welfare of the patients or about the pain a patient is going through.

My aunt was admitted in a room and her condition was worsening. I asked the nurses to please come and take a look at her but they would not as they had no face masks with them which eventually I gave them. The same happened the next morning, her drip had finished but no one would come in the room as they did not had face masks. The process of getting a room in this hospital is also very tricky. Prices of a room vary from 14,000 to no wonder how much as they do not have a fixed rate and would go for as much as they can convince you to pay, but 14 is the minimum. Although there are some smart employees here too who can convince you to pay even more. A month ago we came from sargodha as my aunt wasn't feeling well and when I asked for her to be shifted in a room instead of emergency they told me that they had no room available and I believed them. But one of their own staff members came to me and told me the numbers of 5 rooms on ground floor that were available but had fake patient names written on their doors, the nice person asked me to not disclose their identity. This is a tactic to create panic for a patient and to give them a room of a much higher price. When I told the receptionist about the 5 free rooms on the ground floor he panicked and tried to convince me that he did not knew about them and that he would take action against people responsible but nothing was done, I laughed at this and asked him why do you guys do this kind of stuff to which he replied that karna parta hai boss. This is the state of one of the most expensive hospitals in Lahore and I would never recommend this to anyone. The doctors here are the same as the rest of them. They write medicines which aren't available and usually are either sold in black or smuggled while the same medicines have alternatives too but they wont tell you to get those for the patient; it's fine too as we do not know what the doctors know but it's my opinion that a hospital should only prescribe medicine which is easily available in the market. I pray that none of you people ever have to experience the unprofessional and unethical behaviour of the people of this wretched place.

Their greed could have almost taken my father's life. Took my father here after he suffered from a heart attack. Dr. Gohar Saeed. Allegedly one of the "best" doctors in the country told us that it was dangerous to proceed with the required procedure at the time and that we should wait for a few days while his condition "stabilised". Whereas, the fact was that their Angiography machine (Angiogram) was defective and required to be repaired. Of course the doctor or the nurses wouldn't tell us this, but this was confirmed by the technical staff there. The machine would have taken at least 3-4 days to repair. The doctor kept telling us to wait for 3-4 days when it was "safe" to operate. Thankfully I contacted a family friend who is a doctor and he told me to move my father to another hospital immediately, as his condition was serious and potentially life-threatening. The doctor and the staff scared and intimidated us into staying there, saying that we wouldn't properly be treated elsewhere, and only "Dr. Gohar" somehow had the ability to provide quality treatment. They wouldn't discharge him and took an unnecessarily long time in doing so. We rushed my father to another hospital, his condition was so serious that they had to operate on him immediately. Afterwards we consulted two different, highly experienced and well reputed doctors, both stated that the long wait caused by this hospital's staff and the doctor has damaged my father's heart, which may as well prove to be permanent. I am going to initiate legal proceedings against them but I doubt they'll be held accountable in this country, given the state of it's legal system

My mother is a patient of Dr Ahmed Saeed (rheumatologist) at national hospital since the past 4 years. In these years i have found him to be a highly professional and a polite doctor. Even the residents and fellowship doctors under his training are very keen to give full attention to the patient’s complain. I still remember once my mother had mentioned a minor issue of treatment to one of his residents who then specifically asked her to report it to the doctor so they can evaluate the cause and resolve it but my mother forgot to mention it to the dr and when his resident reported it to him later, Dr Ahmed send his resident after us to call us back and discuss the reported issue in order to resolve it. He even expressed his concern over the minor inconvenience of calling us back in his office. Moreover, he even personally taught me how to easily administer a subcutaneous injection to my mother at home and was so polite and open to my questions regarding it that i was highly impressed by his level of concern and attention for the patient’s wellbeing. There are many such experiences in these past 4 years where i have experienced him to be not only a highly professional but also humble doctor and all ears about his patient’s concerns. Overall, i am highly satisfied with his level of care and attention for the the patient’s wellbeing and currently have not one but two people in my family that are under his and his team's care. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a rheumatologist.

I was in Pakistan last summer and this review is long overdue. My mom was complaining about some pain in her left arm that we couldn’t diagnose and unfortunately I took her to Sheikh Zayed prior to this hospital. I literally gave up hope on ANY hospitals in Lahore until my cousin brought us here in the middle of the night. The second we got out of our cars, two gentleman (security guards) saw my mother was having trouble walking and immediately brought a wheelchair to bring her inside. They took us in and the facility was extremely clean and polished with professional and sophisticated Doctors. A female doctor saw my mom and quickly directed the security guard to take us into the room next door where there were clean bedsheets, a fan above your head, and the proper staff. The nurse aid assisted us and answered any questions we had, and then a Doctor came to help us. He was so kind, listened intently to our issue, and answered any questions patiently. I couldn’t believe it. I would definitely reccomend this hospital to families who are looking for clean and immaculate facilities as well as a pleasant staff and knowledgeable doctors.

  • hi hello

I went to Dr Tayyab mohyyudin around 3 months back at National Hospital Lahore, who is a heart specialist there. He at least should show some concern to the patient.. I went to him with my mother just after reading his degrees..but it was a total disappointment..he hardly gives you 5 minutes...he shows that he is in a hurry ..very dry behaviour.. was not satisfied ..if he did not have the time y did he give is time for consultation ..only for money.. even the second time I went to him to show the results of the tests he prescribed. He did not even see the report or check the CD..he said if report is ok then he does not want to check it..and he dies not have the laptop with him to check the CD. What a behaviour...disrespecting and commercial. He did not even tell me to change any medication ...he was in a hurry to leave... on my querry about the future treatment..he said ok stop taking the medicine i prescribed. I.mean if I wouldn't have asked him ...then..... IN short...he is a selfish commercial doctor...i think all the other reviews about him are fake....other wise if someone wants to consult him ...its their own choice.

Recently witnessed this when my friend went to emergency and I went there to be there with him. It's interesting to see the behaviour of doctors. Which isn't anything new. The staff is so unprofessional, there so called "young doctors" sitting there,it takes them a while to come to the patient and even then lady doctor was such in a rush to go back and sit on her chair and chat with the other doctors or use her mobile phone. I mean the behaviour is so PATHETIC AND UNPROFESSIONAL. She didn't even bother to listen to the whole thing and referred to the other department. In the other department was the same attitude of the doctor. He didn't bother to get off the chair and come to the patient. Rather than talking to the patient and listen to the symptoms, he was more concerned to just back to his chair. It wasn't even busy that time of the night. Luckily our patient was discharged in few hours, at times they try to lengthen the treatment. But unfortunately the doctors attitude isn't professional, nor they ethics or any moral values in general. It reflects the true image of our beautiful society.

I would like to say that National Hospital is the best hospital in Lahore, Pakistan. How their doctors and staff treat the patients are on different level. The staff was incredibly attentive and compassionate throughout our entire visit. I was thoroughly impressed with the cleanliness and organisation of National Hospital, The facility was spotless, and all safety protocols were diligently followed. It was evident that the hospital takes hygiene seriously. The attention to detail in maintaining a clean environment did not go unnoticed and contributed to a positive experience. My father had a Open heart surgery from Dr Zulfiqar Haider so we went on Tuesday 3rd’October2023 to get admit and then we spent almost 5 days there. Surgery went successful with the grace of Allah and it took almost 6.30 hours. Special Thanks to Dr Zulfiqar Haider and his team who saved my father’s life and everyone who took care of him like their own father in CCU and ICU. Dr Rabia, Dr Ayesha and other doctors were always there to check and monitor patients health, May Allah bless you all Jazak Allah.

Your team of doctors, nurses, and support staff went above and beyond to ensure that my father received the best possible care before, during, and after his surgery. Your attention to detail, professionalism, and kindness did not go unnoticed, and we are forever grateful for everything you have done. My father's successful surgery and speedy recovery would not have been possible without your skill and expertise. Your commitment to excellence and patient care is truly remarkable, and we feel blessed to have had the opportunity to receive treatment at national hospital. I extend my heartfelt thanks to each and every one of you for your outstanding service and care. Your dedication to your profession and your patients is truly commendable, and we are forever grateful for your kindness and support

On May 8,2023 I underwent the process of Esophaogastroduodenoscopy and Colonoscopy at National hospital, Phase1, L sector, Lahore. My experience is as following. 1) The room for pre and post Operation Care did not have Extra Large clothes for OT, for obese people like me. 2) The condition of the toilet of that room was pathetic. No door closer, everytime someone went in, it remained open and all germs came to the room & my bed where I was kept after process. 3) The anesthesia given to me did not work and I had to bear all pain of both processes. 4) The paramedical staff's handling of patient was rough & inhumane from the perspective of the Patient, though might be trained for Doctor's perspective. 5) The Consultant told me that the total expanses would be PKR58000/- before Operation but when the Bill reached me it was whooping PKR94000/- with Consultant charges of PKR72,400/- which was shocking for a teacher like me ,working in Public sector. I recently had the opportunity to experience the exceptional care provided by National Hospital, and I am compelled to share my positive impressions. From the moment I entered the hospital, I was greeted by a warm and welcoming atmosphere that immediately put me at ease. The staff at National Hospital exhibited a remarkable level of professionalism and compassion. Every interaction, whether with nurses, doctors, or support staff, left me feeling valued and cared for. The medical team demonstrated a deep commitment to patient well-being, taking the time to explain procedures, answer questions, and ensure that I was comfortable throughout my stay. The hospital facilities were not only state of the art but also impeccably maintained contributing to an environment that promotes healing. The cleanliness and organization were evident in every department, reflecting a dedication to providing a top-notch healthcare services.

Got the wrong diagnosis on three separate occasions. 1. Radiologist couldn’t confirm my pregnancy on ultrasound and said I might have ectopic pregnancy. Same day we went to Punjab Radiology and they confirmed it. 2. Another Radiologist wrongly reported my amniotic fluid as ‘3’ which is so low I would have had an emergency c section but fortunately my dr advised me to get another ultrasound done and it was actually ’8’. 3. My mother’s fractured bone was not identified in the x ray, they sent her home with just pain medications. Then when we went to their orthopaedic specialist to recheck, he put the plaster in the wrong position. After a week we went again and he said oh this is wrong let me correct it, and then again put it in the wrong position. Each of these times we had to shell out 15,000 for the plaster, 3500 for the doctors fee and an MRI for 10,000. It’s just a money making machine and nothing else.

My Son "Muhammad Musa" was Born on 29th Sep 23 in National Hospital DHA Lahore. My son was suffering from respiratory distress. The care in the nursery was outstanding all the way from start to finish. The Doctors put forth a high level of effort to deliver results. The support staff was very professional and pleasant. The facility was well equipped and designed for patient privacy, service and efficiency. The electronic prescription process worked great. The insurance was handled equally as well. We will highly recommend “Well-key” at every opportunity. Great JOB. I want say "Thanks" to Dr. Tayyaba Khawar Butt Dr. Nehal Dr. Ali Dr. Tahir Dr. Adaan Dr. Amna Dr. Irfan Dr. Hamza Special thanks and best wishes for our gynaecologist Dr Irum Munawar (Grt Lady) and all associated Staff of labour room. These words from core of my ❤️ as Allah has given new life to my Baby.

  • Ume-IYMAN

This hospital is lucky to have such excellent consultants working there. By no means, building wise especially in the toilets, hallways and rooms does it look like a specialised private hospital. Everything is outdated and in disrepair. I mean I became constipated staying one night taking care of my mother in law, cuz I couldn't use their toilets. They tout the latest technology, and they probably do use it, but their building does NOT complement their cutting edge medical techniques. Bottom line: their billing and fees are absolutely not value for money. You are literally only paying for the highly competent consultants. Word of advice: have connections when you go to hospitals in this country, private or otherwise, no work EVER gets done without the big bosses pushing around their subordinates. Pity, truly pitiful.

My new born nephew had a duodenal surgery the very next day he was born . Dr Mehmood Shaukat did the surgery and took along very well. He is one of the humble most person I have ever seen. Dr Tayyaba but also handled our baby very well. We are thankful to both of the consultants. My nephew was admitted in NICU for 23 days... I'm also thankful and indebted to the staff and doctors of the nursery and I must mention the names Dr. Tahir, Dr Nehal, Dr Aden, Dr Javeria , Dr Maria and Dr Amna ... They had been so kind and generous.... kept me updated whenever I called . Another special thanx to the whole staff specially Sister. Khalida, aqsa, iqra and shaheena. They took care of our baby so well .... I shall always be thankful.... and will remember their efforts in the journey we went through..... May Allah bless them all.

Zero stars, admit in this hospital if you want your loved one to Die for no reason. Recently one of my family member was admitted and in emergency young umexperienced doctors wantee 8 injections for patient streightaway. During our stay in hospital i found Duty Doc n Staff nurses to be highly inexperinced and ignorant, they tried to give completly wrong staroid and antibpotics injections, i had to consult with 3 other doctors fr each medicine and surprisingly answer was NO. I was tired of saying NO for wrong medicines and eventionaly Left Hospital ASAP without getting our patient killed. I can imagine how many Hundreds of patients died due to their negligence and ignorance. Very sAd. Allah bless innocent patients. We rather take patients to Govt hospitals atleast they wont have much greed.

  • Usman Khan

So I’d like to share my experience with all of you. We went to the hospital for my grandmothers treatment as she was in critical condition. The first thing you’ll be asked in the hospital would be to pay the charges, they don’t care about the patient, all they care about is about the money being deposited. It is appalling because this hospital is really being operated for only the basis of making money rather than saving lives. This hospital should either be closed or should be taken serious measures. How would you feel that you’re family member is on that sick bed and all you get asked is to pay the bill. Where exactly is the humanity? Where is the ambition to save lives? I’m writing this so that the staff gets better and the precautionary measures are taken.

Third class hospital, only a picnic place for rich people and money making machine. Our patient is placed in ICU since 18 days, they only doing tests daily giving a lot medicines not caring the patient and having much more bill daily expenses are about 1 lakh, but when we force the doctor today to tell us the true picture what is the status of patient and what will u do next then they told that her cure is surgery which we can't do so shift the patient in other hospital. I m asking if u are not having the said surgery then why u delayed and not told us the clear picture. They only have the purpose to make money and they are doing that, shame on u and your staff, insha Allah one day u will b accountable in front of almighty Allah.

Yesterday morning I went to surgical emergency, a very young looking doctor was sitting there. My mother had constipation for quite a long time. The doctor was very polite and decent . She treated my mother with great care. She even diagnosed her condition and explained everything in detail. Suddenly a man came in emergency with his two daughter and started misbehaving with doctor. I could see pain in that doctor's big eyes but she handled everything very professionally. National hospital surely has some very diligent doctors. But I am afraid if my daughter would be working in such hospital where any one will come and start harassing her and no one takes a stand for her. Higly concerned about safety of doctors in such hospitals

National Hospital & Medical Centre in Lahore is undeniably one of the largest and most comprehensive healthcare facilities in the region. It boasts a diverse array of visiting doctors, providing access to a wide range of medical expertise. The hospital is well-managed, maintaining high standards of care that cater to a diverse clientele. While it excels in offering high-quality medical services, some individuals may find that the expansive nature of the hospital can lead to longer wait times and potentially less personalized care. Nevertheless, for those seeking top-notch medical treatment and a variety of specialist options, National Hospital & Medical Centre remains a reputable choice in Lahore's healthcare landscape.

  • Imran Iqbal

NOT AT ALL RECOMMENDED. I went there to Dr Shahid Hussain (Neurophysician) for a consultation of my mother having Parkinson's. The doctor was not interested in listening to the patient or the attendant at all.A dilemma here in Pakistan and especially in such so called hospitals. He was rude and didn't even knew the name of most medicines. I mean he's making 3000 in 15 mins and he won't listen to us for 5 mins. You'll find better doctor in Lahore in less charges who'll probably listen to you and then diagnose and prescribe the medicines. But don't waste your money and time here. Take it from someone whose been to almost every known doctor in this category.

  • Nan Kebab

What a joke of a hospital … it’s not a hospital but a ghetto building with consultant doctors in it … it’s shameful to call it a hospital … no protocol for hygiene, sanitation and cleanliness being enforced here … pre op room looks like a thoroughfare … nursing and other staff is inefficient and inept … the oxygen mask to be put on the patient for OR fell down on the floor and the hospital worker just wiped it on his shalwar qameez and put it on the patient … it is supposed to be the best hospital in an expensive neighborhood catering for elite of the city … Allah Muafi … Allah Pakistani hospitals say bachaaye bus … highly disappointing experience.

  • Bee Hive

Be Aware! Charges for an ordinarily Room with very basic facilities is over KPR '18,000' per night without all the medical expenses. Some of blood stain from other patients has never been removed. The Doctors are so Pathetic that they'll intentionally put the patient under stress and worries by advising the patient they is extremely unwell when he is not, even if the patient is unwell they should choose their words carefully.. I find this extremely unprofessional, inhumane and a Greedy way to make nothing, but money. The cleaners are keep sneaking in the room at 11pm to clean up, which is giving no chance for patient rest or recover.

  • Mannat Zahra

I had my second C Section here my newborn Son was suffering from respiratory distress his consultant Dr. Tayyba Khawar Butt is very competent she remained in touch with staff and was very concerned about the baby . I want to say especial thanks to the nursery staff who look after my baby very professionally I want to mention the names Sana , Iqra , Agnis , Victoria, sandhia, Shazia , Aqsa, Khalida sister , Shaania. Thanks to all the staff very professional attitude keep it up . One thing more I want to talk about on duty doctors of Nursery they are all very professional towards their duty. Thanks to all

  • q kh

This hospital is about profit only. They charge 14K rupees for a daily rate for a room and it stinks. I have a mother who is cancer patient and was told to wear mask during her chemo because of smell in the room. Can you believe that? This is after paying to them a lot of monies. It is all about Profit and no customer experience, shame on them. I cannot believe that a hospital is forgoing basic sanitation. Horrible, experience as admin tries to make additional monies by stating we don't have regular rooms available. Sad, very sad as these people have forgotten the basic rights of a patient.

  • Bilal Sajid

Although the building is very artistic, one may have the perception that it is a purpose built hospital but I had multiple bad experiences here and not only me there are a lot of cases of doctors being prejudice about some one's outlook and asking him about financial affordability. That is something very non-professional. They just talk about money and try to be sissy in order to show themselves as some kind of arts professionals. I think the whole impact of this so called carelessness and artistic outlook is because of the owner's partner, who is a fashion designer.

  • Kamran Qureshi

My family has been going to this hospital for the last 20 years almost. In the recent we have witnessed a sharp decline in their level of service. Today what disappointed me the most was that when I called the hospital for appointment with a certain rheumatologist, the receptionist used a string of technical terms and asked me to call the next morning. I asked her to explain what she meant in simple terms but she simply hurried the conversation to an abrupt end. It seemed as if I was speaking to someone from the Lahore Stock Exchange, and not a hospital.

  • Naseem Ahmad Jawa

Over-rated place, from reception to each dept and doctors are arrogant and consider themselves out of this world, u get humiliated after paying the most in the city and yet choose to stay in the worst ever cleaning, room and amenities like mosque area. It’s such a shame that such hospitals have made repute only in the absence of good hospitals but don’t match their promises neither the charges paid. I hope someone does take a notice and pay attention to details and the overall journey for patient to come in to the time of discharge. It’s a filthy place

  • Eman Nazir

The nursing staff at National Hospital is highly skilled & professional. They deal with all sorts of cases in the most proactive manner & are truly committed to ensuring the wellbeing of their patients. The neonatal care & attention in the nursery reflects the strong work ethic that is shared by all staff members. The head of the nursery has maintained a good decorum & ensures that all infants are taken care of with great responsibility. I would highly recommend this to everyone who is looking for a reliable & trustworthy hospital.

  • Mehtab Raja

This hospital is overrated and so is dr Wajid the guy thinks he is some one superior dose not have a clue what he is talking about did not explain anything to us we are asking him Questions the guy is ignoring our questions and talking about irrelevant stuff like how is London and the inflation the guy is complete joker not a doctor would have reported him to the health authorities but don’t think Pakistan has a health ombudsman please avoid this hospital especially for foreigners because they just after your money

  • Mian Zeshan Farooqi

It's a place with NO professionalism at all. We had to wait for around 3 hours for a pre-scheduled appointment. None of their staff was willing to take responsibility of that mismanagement. Rather they were harsh upon complaining. The worst thing is a the change of shift while we were waiting. The new shift staff even claimed that we paid fees to previous staff so we should ask them in case of any problem. Avoid going there unless you have tons of patience to bare the pathetic staff and quality of services.

  • Shuja Ahmed

They are overhyped and over priced. Service is too slow and apart from the glitter of the main entrance and reception, there is nothing good about the hospital. Went in for a normal iron infusion IV treatment for my wife. Had to wait 30mins or so just to get the nurse from nursing station to cater my wife. And their level of attention was very poor without any concern of showing care towards the patient. On top of that they charged us a hefty amount for a room where the hygiene level was extremely poor.

  • ahsan rao

Very poor care and dont treat patients and family well. I am surgeon consultant in Essex UK and my grandmother who suffers from chronic heart disease with pacemaker was admitted there for shortness of breath. They kept her in for 1 week and discharged her without checking her pacemaker. Later we came to realise and took her to another hospital where it was found that pace maker was not working. This is negligence. She was under cardiologist during her stay and no one checked her cardiac pace maker.

  • ‪Prayer The Ultimate Connection (Atif Abbasi)‬‏

Good news for Saas and Bahu. If Bahu wants to get rid of her Saas or vice versa, National Hospital is providing easy and quick solutions for that. For example, if your husband is at office and your Saas gets chocked, call NH and earn freedom for the whole life. Because they will not pick up the phone and even if they do, they will put you on hold, till death....So you can also show your husband that you have called the emergency and save your own self. In short, NH is a blessing.

  • Haad Bajwa

Excellent hospital, has all modren equipment under one roof. Doctors and staff are highly trained, qualified and experienced. Some of the best Doctors in Pakistan work here. My two sons were born here and I had multiple surgeries performed on me, Fully satisfied! It is expensive if you don't have health insurance. Highly recommended Sadia Shaukat Gynecologist and Dr Cheema paediatric. Good to see such a well maintained hospital in Pakistan .

  • Asad Zubair Bhatti

Dr abdul qayyum is the worst doctor with 4000 consultation and doesnt even follow the fundamentals of medical practice. Baahir se parh kar aya hai but clearly has an ego problem. Says typical baatein and has rude behavior. Only talk talk talk no productivity. I can write an essay on the details but it's really better to save money and kisi government hospital jaayen, wahan k PGs in so called consultant se kahin behtar haain. 0 professionalism.

  • Abdullah Awan

POOR EXPERIENCE. Spent 20 days in this hospital and I regret bringing my mother (may Allah rest her soul in peace) here. ICU staff is extremely incompetent, they dont know how to put on a bipap mask they go on long breaks leaving the patient unattended and keep in mind this is the INTENSIVE CARE UNIT im talking about no safayi ka khayaal in there. Pathetic hospital inn qasayyon ka hisaaab alehda se hoga inshallah Allah dekh raha hai sab

  • Aimen Saleem

My family has had experiences with other hospitals which were not completely pleasant. Our experience with National Hospital Lahore has been very positive. My family member had open heart surgery(CABG). She also spent time in the cardiac surgery care unit, eventually under hospice care. Over a week we became very impressed with the efficient, kind care that she received from the nurses team everyone was helpful and compassionate.

  • Dany

Absolute pathetic patient care and careless gynaecologists and anaesthetists. Disgustingly dirty and substandard operation theaters with third grade cleanliness. Its nothing short of a rip off when it comes to money paid vs services received. My wife is now suffering with a critical infection post her c-section and was in pain because of incompetent anaesthesia team at this hospital. Careless and shameless at the same time.

  • Sania Sandhu

The National Hospital is setting the example for the type of care that hospitals should provide. They are paving the way in patient care, surgery, improving quality of life and relationships with their patients. The cardiac surgery department is absolutely wonderful. I refer as many people as I can to this hospital. My only negative remark about the facility is that the cafeteria is providing expensive unhygienic food.

  • Khadeeja Mazari

I got operated last year in 2022 for my emergency C section they didn't even took out the pin from which they inject the spinal anesthesia I got it out myself the next day from a nurse and they refused to accept their mistake if it would have been in other country they would have cancelled their license and they even charged us for coming into room for asking of problem when we didn't even called the administration

  • Waseem Abbas

A team of wonderful surgeons, doctors, and the staff was always helpful and kind. They ensured I had a smooth prep, surgery, and follow-up. I would highly recommend to anyone. Great medical office, wonderful and warm experience from start to finish. Appreciate Doctors for taking time to go over the diagnosis clearly and treatment options. Was referred over by my general doctor and can see why. Highly recommended.

  • Sobia Chishti

National hospital is one of the best hospitals in Lahore. Best doctors and nursing staff are available here to serve the patients day and night. Hospital also has best ultrasound, x Ray, emergency, outpatients, labour, kidney and heart departments. A mosque and canteen is also present here. Though it is a bit expensive hospital yet the expert services and care a person can get from here surely outweighs the cost!

I came to Pakistan to spend my holidays. I visited National Hospital OPD with my mother 2 days back.. their whole staff was very cooperative.. receptionists were well dressed.. one receptionist named as Sikandar raza found to be very helpful.. their amazing entrances, lobbies also sitting area commendable.. my overall experience was very nice in this private hospital of lahore, Pakistan.

  • Saleha Yousaf

Dengue ward condition is very poor. No mosquito spray even mosquitos are wandering around freely in ward we are tired of asking them to spray. Its been 3nd day we are asking them to change bed covers. They don't even bother. Also when a patent discharges, even after 3 days of staying here, they don't change bed covers but lie new patients on same bed. Worst private hospital ever.

  • Eyes Never Lie Chico

I am using national hospital nursery. All doctors and nurses have took care in a great and gentle way. I have been in nursery for 10 days.Nursery is clean and fulfilling all necessary standards of childcare. Staff specially Victoria,Shina,Edmis,Aqsa, kulsom Sadiya and sister khalida had been given charge of my twins. I am satisfied with all the services by doctor-and thier staff

  • Asiya Saeed

The staff good but they need training to be more kind, friendly and courteous towards patient. The cleanliness level is pathetic specially in washrooms there was no toilet roll and hand-wash they charge huge amount but such facilities are missing hygiene standards are too low I really want to ask the management to look after the cleanliness standards…

  • Naheed Izhar

I have to pick up my pen to write few thanks words for Dr. Muhammed Ahmed Saeed , so impressed with your diagnosis I think ur the best Rheumatologist in Pakistan my sis is ur patient since four years Fahmida was in so much pain, he made her to resume her life, thanks doc don’t have sufficient words to say enough thanks to u and your team !!!

  • Gul saba

I went there for a minor surgery of my 4 yrs old son, it was a great experience. very professional staff of post-op department, and state of the art facilites available. Dr Raja Kaikoabad and Dr Rashid Naeem were very competent and keen doctors, they adressed our concerns very carefully and made the procedure very convenient for us.

  • Dr. TJ

The consultant managing our patient has the experience, skills and ethics that far outweigh the other management and staff at this hospital. I will always recommend other patients NOT to stay in this hospital for their care and instead ask the consultant managing them to choose another hospital well equipped to offer their services.

  • Nasir Nisar

During my recent visit, I found the washrooms to be extremely dirty and unpleasantly smelly. It was evident that they had not been properly cleaned and maintained. Furthermore, I was dismayed to discover that there were no tissues or soap available in the washroom. This lack of basic amenities is both inconvenient and unhygienic.

  • Kamran Malik

Charges are high when compared with level and quality of services provided. Like education medical services is now a money making machine and humanity service is now a forgotten concept. The talk of Pakistan is, how to make as much money as soon as possible and get rich. Doctors are one of the front runners in making money.

  • Muhammad Rizwan

Never ever even think about going to this hospital for surgery. Can anyone imagine that they caused 3+ degree burns to 40% body of my 6 month old son. They baked him for 3 hours on an electric hot plate while he was under anesthesia and they then threatened me to keep quite otherwise they will kick me out of hospital.

  • Ghulam Muhammad

My father was admitted in Cardiac Surgery department for CABG, their team was very responsible and professional in their behavior. It was a very emotionally tough time for my family but the team's cooperation made it possible for us to bear through this experience. Forever thankful to the surgeon for his expertise.

  • maira Azhar

I had a really good experience here! The staff was very helpful. They guided me well thru the the entire procedure. And the surgeon doctor Afzal Hussain made sure that during the surgery I was comfortable and it was painless! I highly recommend this institute to anybody who needs help for any type of eye treatment.

  • Waqas Qureshi

Most of the specialist doctors are really good and some of the administration staff is helpful too but paramedic staff especially who are on duty for inpatients are extremely careless and unprofessional. And couple of the new doctors in emergency are more interested in talking to nurses than to attend patient.

  • Imran Khokhar

Poor managament in High-dependency unit HDU. Three dialysis patients are admit in HDU one is in most critical condition but they only have one remote dialysis machine...Dialysis center is closed. Staff is so unprofessional They just change their statements regarding giving multiple time to start dialysis...

  • Maheen Rabbani

  • Anna Kou

The worst Doctor you could ever imagine if you want to kill yourself go see Asim Saif. Not just us , as a family, we have suffered but all people around us have had bad experience. He over doses and gives wrong medication. God forgive him !!!! The hospital will not get rid of him . See Dr. Tayeb instead .

  • haroon ahsin

First paid 3000 for consultancy and the very next day just for follow-up they charge me again 3000. Plus things are very unprofessional. I call them for appointment but they guided me very rudely. Washroom equipment were placed in the same area where patients for surgery were waiting. Simply disappointed

  • Rebecca Niamat

Every person we met so far has been amazing. The entire staff of cardiac ICU are rock stars. They are taking care of my dad like he is their dad. They also are so supportive to me and my family. There is no other hospital that compares to National hospital. All of you are appreciated and loved.

  • lubaina rafiq

We visit national hospital for my fathervs disease and firstly take appointment of Dr tayyab pasha cardiologist for my father and feels no need to visit any othere. Highly recommended, friendly communication way and he satisfied his patient. Hospital is neat and clean and staff is cooperative.

  • Ayesha Tahira

Very unprofessional. A ganye Dr here did c section of my friend only because she has to go in a wedding and she has no time to wait. My friend has already 2 kids with normal delivery and has not any kind of health concern which lead to operation. Bus Kya karain jee paisa b to kamana hai.

  • Mobeen Farooqi

This is the worst hospital in Lahore. My family's experience with this place is very tragic and scarring, all because of negligence of their cardiovascular department. All they can do is hold up a beautiful facade, rather than fulfill the very purpose hospitals are meant for.

  • Omer Saleem

Very good hospital with dedicated Parking space across the road. You require masks for entry. There is a counter where you will get your number with respect to time of arrival to see your doctor. Very well maintained. Very clean hospital. Good mannered staff. Bit expensive.

  • aaliya ahmad

He is a very nice person and at the same time best cardiologist. Our whole family goes there. Feel very comfortable and safe in his presence and his treatment is excellent. He handles every patient with his full capabilities. May Allah bless him with health and happiness.

  • Memoona Qamar

I would like to praise doctor Bakht aziz and a nurse in OPD, called Angela. The ENT doctor is highly professional and a competent doctor and later in the emergency care, Angela who's an on duty nurse treated my son very well. 5 stars to doctor Bakht aziz and nurse Angela.

  • Muhammad Ali

Dont take your kids there for any treatment. Dr Mahmood Shaukat is a butcher not a peds surgeon. We had the worst experience with my 4 year old daughter. We had to air lift her to Dubai due to lack of expertise and negligence of the medical staff at National Hospital.

  • Thor *

I had undergone an executive health checkup on 30th August. Although I didn’t have a prior appointment, I could get my health checkup done. Dept is very well managed and personal escort was provided to get the things done smoothly. I would love to come back again.

  • ‪Umair Khan (Romi)‬‏

I pray that nobody visits the hospital. May Allah SWT keeps everyone safe from every disease. Aameen. I've had a few emergency encounters here, diarrhea and stuff. Found that the ER guys are well equipped with the necessary skills and all. Had a good experience.

  • CRAFTY GIRL

Sitting here since 3pm now it's 4.08pm. No doctor, no care nothing. I just came to get bandage. They have provided me with a bill ‍♀️ they haven't even checked me yet. It's there Emergency. Emergency take 1 hour ? Pathetic hospital, pathetic doctors. …

Wife's labor was 10 hours before hospital found out that baby was inverted, and they did not have working ultrasound machine. Also did not give opportunity to call azan or do tehnik for baby after birth. Maybe it's set up only for liberal DHA residents.

  • Kashif Raza

Its been the second time that the consultant (a different one) was so keen on cross-selling his other clinic and encouraging to visit there instead of focusing on getting the job done in the first visit. Just an overcrowded money making machine!

  • Ahmed Malik

A very well maintained modern hospital. The best thing about this hospital was that unlike most hospitals, this was a rather cheerful place with flowers, chandeliers, black coat uniforms for reception staff, nice tuck shop and overall ambiance.

  • Fahad Mehdi

I just went to their emergency department. They treat patients in a very professional manner and follow-up constantly. The doctors, nurses and support staff are all well-behaved. But, obviously, they charge too much for their quality.

  • Dr. Iqra Tariq

V good experience and healthy hygienic environment. All staff behaviour is very calm and nice towards babies and mothers. My baby consultant dr tayaba and all staff members are very cooperative and updated with the recent guidelines.

  • Tee Vee

The phone operators really need to learn basic mannerism of attending and responding to queries on phone. Its been my 4th experience of making a call to book an appointment and the staff always responds very rudely. So disappointed.

  • Rehan Yasin

A very well staffed hospital. Clean and decent environment. The nursing staff is also very helpful and trained. The rooms are spacious but expensive. Their fees are generally expensive too. The hospital has a good pharmacy inside.

  • Husnain Akhtar

My father was admitted to the cardiac ICU after emergency CABG and he was very pleased with the way he was treated. Very comforting his staff Afzaal and Vikram. Thank you so much for treating my father. You guys are amazing.

Brilliant doctor! Expert of diagnosis and checks a patient very thoroughly. One of the best doctors in Lahore. My personal experience (of my whole family and other people that I have recommended him to) was great.

  • Usman Shery

Only experienced the maternity related department. Staff is negligent, takes 1 to 2 hours to respond. Nursery performs poor. Necessary tests are not performed etc. Basically lack of professionalism in many areas.

  • Mehroz Afzal Butt

The hospital is well managed and clean. Facilities offered are of standard, and staff is very cooperative too. The only issue is parking space as you need to park across the road and becomes difficult at times

  • Sahilrang Rang

National Hospital & Medical Complex is a good addition in DHA for patients. Specialists from all medical fields sit there. Clean and neat atmosphere. It is expensive hospital not recommended for middle class.

  • naseeb khan

One patient had a stomach problem, they made him a heart patient. Hardly passing the time now. Now we are transferred in another hospital. Very expensive and wasteful National hospital DHA Lahore services.
