This is such a pleasant outdoor movie theater. I treated myself to a movie and had a yummy white russian, tickets are cheap and they really have it dialed. Sound and movie quality are great! Ambiance with candlelight and seating, extra blankets and cushions are plus for the experience. The movie selection is very impressive! Good thoughtful movies and some that relate to Nepal which is great because many are excited for trekking and to understand the culture. I also appreciate the details like placing QR code on the screen before movie showing for free wifi or opportunity to win IG prize or free popcorn, showing trailer for the next night's movie, and printing out a schedule for the week's showings as well. All these details make it worth going to at least once but I'm already planning to gk for a 3rd time. They even will serve food to you during the movie through their whatsapp system! Go see a movie at the Movie Garden!

Looking for the 6 star option. Situated on a walking distance from the Phewa Lakeside road. This is the best evening plan. Always. Visited this place daily for a week while I was in Pokhara. They place some of the classic Hollywood hits on a daily basis. They have a 300 / 250 ticket for the Movie. Apart from that you can get yourself a bowl of popcorn by checking in on FB. I always did :D Its is a perfect setting with a lake and mountains in the background. They start the movie after sunset & when its dark, till then expect good english hits. It fills up every evening on a first come first serve basis and houses not more than 30 people. So make sure you reach early. The best thing ? They also serve chilled beer, some of the most amazing wood fired Pizza . If you are in Pokhara even for 1 night. Consider giving this a visit.

Amazing place to be when in Pokhara. Great pizza (we tried the Vegetariana) for around 500 NPR, really good music taste while waiting for the movie to start and absolutely friendly staff. Even helped us with insect detergent because we forgot ours. Entry was around 350 NPR. Great movies to choose from - they even show live acts from past concerts. Don’t expect new releases but if you’re cineast, you will love the movies picked. We watched Wes Andersons “Moonrise Kingdom”. If it rains, you can choose seats beneath the pavillon.

My experience in the Movie Garden was truly amazing. For me it was like finding a hidden gem in Pokhara; from the location, their food, their warm and friendly hospitality, and most of all the aesthetically pleasing ambience. Everything about the Movie Garden was just great. The hosts are extremely kind and friendly, they have a great selection of movies and the whole outdoorsy cozy and chill vibe is worth an experience to go for.

What a cool experience in Pokhara, Nepal. An outdoor movie theatre with pizzas , popcorn and booze available. They have a different film every night....mainly Hollywood features and alternatives. There is a roof over the sitting area so don't worry about rain....though I just spent a month in Pokhara and it only rained twice.

Kid friendly except they do allow smoking so be aware.

Lovely staff, atmosphere and comfortable seating. So many good movies are played here, sometimes it’s hard to choose which one to pick! Occasionally it can be quite busy, so making a reservation is recommended. When it’s busy, the staff remains super friendly and try very hard to make everyone comfortable. They serve pizzas, which are okay. One other dish than pizza on the menu would be quite nice for the future. Then our diet would have been a bit more varied, since we got addicted to movie garden :)

Very cute, cosy and in a small corner - movie garden in Pokhara. It was a 20 min walk from our place. Its super nice out here, lot of greenery. They give you free popcorn if you check in via Facebook. We ordered pizza and beer - the pizza was amazing. They also give you blankets just incase it gets cold. Chilled out place to watch a movie - per person is 350NPR. You can always check on their Instagram page what movies they are showing and go accordingly.

This is a really cozy gem in a corner of Lakeside. I am glad I came here on my first evening in Pokhara to see the ”Sherpa“ documentary (highly recommended!). It’s a well managed place with good vibes and you can tell the staff is really passionate about selecting a diverse choice of movies! Looking at the schedule I felt inclined to just come every evening! If you feel a bit lost in the hustle and bustle of busy Pokhara come here and spent a chill evening in the candle-light atmosphere :)

Came here because my friend suggested it and this place exceeded my expectations. What a beautiful venue they have I was busting with excitement after I got there moreover, the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Had to walk about 2 mins trail path up from the main road.

Stoped by to watch a movie and have dinner. Ordered a veggie pizza. Felt like a home made pizza from an oven. It was okay. The movie experience was great even though I did not like the movie very much. No vegan options. Wow, what an amazing place. The staff is so friendly and chill and have great taste in movies. From the Main Street of lakeside in Pokhara after 3-5 minutes of uphill hike, there is a beautifully designed amphitheater with a shack like bar made of bamboo structure. And the experience of watching movie seating on the middle of the hill with clear view of the beautiful city and the Fewa lake on the background, breathing a fresh air having a freshly popped popcorn and pizza with an ice chilled beer is something that I definitely wish to do on my weekends.

Great experience, sitting on a mismatch of furniture or cushions the terraced seating on the side of a hill is great. The screen is just the right size and the sound system is fantastic a real movie treat. You can also get food and drinks here - the pizza are amazing. The people who run the place are great too - really nice and helpful, as are most people in Nepal. If ever you are in Pokhara in Nepal you must put this place on your list of places to visit.

One of my favorite places in Pokhara. I lost count of how many movies I watched here. The people that work there are super friendly, pizzas are delicious, and the whole experience in general is great. I love the selection of movies, specially when they play Himalaya-related movies. What a great idea the owner of this place had! Can't wait to visit this place again when I am back in Pokhara.

Excellent location, great atmosphere and all at reasonable prices. A movie ticket, beer, pizza - all together 12$. I tried to get in contact with them on Facebook but they didn’t react, better to contact via Instagram. The audience was 100% foreign, no locals at this cinema. The pizza took ages, we got it only during the movie break, so 1hr into the movie..it was average, but you don’t go there for food, right? ;)

Such a lovely evening at movie garden. Really kind hosts and a great film! We didn’t get around to trying the pizza but they looked very nice and we will be sure to return before our trip’s end to take one. Good whisky hot chocolate and beers.

Loved the place. We had a really fun night out watching Django Unchained. We had the pepperoni pizza and Don Corleone which both tasted great! Can really recommend for a fun night out. My husband and I went to the Movie Garden twice in 1 week during our stay in Nepal. It's an extremely cute and cozy place to relax and watch a movie. The screen is bigger than it looks in the pictures, and excellent quality as well. The service is also great and the staff was friendly. The pizza was delicious. You have to try this place as it's very unique and not something available everywhere.

I am just in love with the place. Being a cinephile, I had quite a lot of experiences watching movies from local cinema halls to QFXs. But watching the best movies of all time under the stars, being served with delicious food and beverages and most important opportunity to meet with the amazing travelers full of wanderlust; hands down, the best cum unique experience to have in Pokhara !!!

very laidback jungle vibe movie "theatre" I'd describe it as, with a built in tiered stand for sitting on, the movie choices are good and the food and drinks are all brought to you which is great. But the price of getting in is steep specially to see movies which are on Netflix. There's no new movies on show which I find quite dissappinting. But despite all that we had a really nice time.

They play different well-known classics every day and the atmosphere in the dark and the bamboo plants and all that is just great. They only ask 300 ruppees entrance fee. Relatively speaking the pizza's were quite good.

Just the best place in the whole world! Movies in the jungle, sitting outside on couches, under the stars, and even in the rain. Showing the greatest interesting movies, mostly american, and in english. They serve proper pizza, the best we’ve had in Asia, alcoholic drinks, popcorn and ice cream. Check Facebook for the showings each week. We go almost every night when we’re in Pokhara.

The garden is opened but somehow there is written on all social media platforms that they are closed. It was a really nice experience and I would love to go to the movie garden again. Chilling with a beer, pizza and watching a movie is a great vibe

Had been waiting a long long time to visit Movie Garden. One of the best chill spots to catch on classic movies, in a jungle and under the stars with a view of Phewa lake in the backdrop. Entry price: 350NPR and you can order Pizzas and drinks. Try to reach early around 6:15 to get the best seats.

Excellent atmosphere and a great selection of films each night. The visuals and sounds are both well presented. All films are screened in English and have English subtitles. Warm blankets are provided. The food and drinks from the bar are delicious and well priced, and the staff are friendly.

This hillside open-air amphitheater screens amazing classic movies every evening at 7pm. In addition they serve amazing pizza, popcorn and drinks during the movie. The staffs are incredibly friendly and they provide free warm blankets during the cold evening. A must visit place in Pokhara!

Incredibly cozy outdoor cinema tucked away near Lakeside. Drinks are cheap (10% off after the movie); I'd definitely recommend the hot chocolate twist. You can even order pizza, but don't expect it to arrive on time.

Great place to relax and enjoy a quiet evening away from busy and touristy Lakeside. Come early (1hr before movie starts) because comfy seats are gone quickly and pizzas need a while to be served.

최신 영화 틀어주는 건 아니고 그냥 숲속 영화관에서 로맨스 영화 옛날 거 틀어준다 생각하면 돼요 인스타 팔로하고 태그하면 팝콘 무료입니다 글고 350rs밖에 안 해요! 네팔 물가 치고 비싸지만 한국 물가 생각하면 괜찮아요

Great place to watch a movie! The pizzas are good, the seats comfortable. We even saw some fireflies it was really pretty!

在Pokhara一個很酷的地方，非常推薦安排一個晚上在這看個電影，放鬆一下！ 它位在小山坡巷子裡，我們大約9:30pm 入場，幾乎快坐滿了，只能坐到第一排；建議可以再早一點過來，選個舒適的位子。餐點我們點了Pizza，吃起來還好。
