There are many ways to get to the Great Wall at Mutianyu. The route that I took was to start here and get onto the 916 Express bus to Huairou. In Huairou, after the bus turned right onto North Avenue, North Street or Bei Da Ji, I got off at the next stop, crossed the road, avoided the taxi touts and got onto the H23 bus to the Mutianyu roundabout.
