I have been a huge of fan of Bollywood Indian restaurant for years now. After my recent visit I thought I must review it here about the amazing food and best customer service i get everytime I am here. The first impression you get walking in always has been positive for me.it can both accommodate inside and outside dinning space where we can enjoy our meal comfortably. I see it as one of the best and preferred Indian restaurant in Shanghai. Huge and good restaurant where we can have all sought of party and it is definitely a preferred place to have client lunches and office party. I have been here multiple times and customer service you get each time beats my expectation on every visit. Love the non veg food and my best had been the keema mutter which one should definitely try. Owner KK' Ji is such a lovely and down to earth person. Makes friends easily and can make make endless and happy conversation.

This restaurant was our saviour ... If u ever think the chinese cuisine that we ravenously eat in India is the same in China then its a big NO Its way way different And if you are a foodie sooo NO its difficult to survive in China with that authentic chinese cuisine So we found this place in Shanghai and OH MYYYYY GOD this place is really good The ambience will definitely remind u of ur good old bollywood memories... The music is all Indian The staff speaks Hindi and the food is so god damn delicious Very well maintained and the washroom is quite clean... If u r un Shanghai n if u crave for an indian restaurant this is the place Its a home far from home ENJOI MAADI!!!!

Today I had visited the restaurant with family and a family friend. We had ordered both non- vegetarian and vegetarian dishes . The vegetable Manchurian was so extremely spicy that I couldn't eat it . I felt like it was a green chillies curry . I wish the restaurant considers the customers spice level requirements while taking the order whatever the dish is. This would help them to relish the food. I wish the restaurant improves on this part.

You can consider decent food but no where near good indian cuisine as shared by many reviews. Example papadum taste was flat and do not have the crunch level. Service is poor, talk to 3 server and had to repeat orders multiple times. Food is slow, had to wait for nearly 1 hours before food are serve. I will not return to this restaurant

I love this place. Beautiful ambience and food was awesome. Food quality is superb. Staff is very polite and available on the fly. Must visit specially if you are an Indian. I would recommend it to everyone. Resturant owner is cool guy. You can meet him he is available every time in restraunt.

Wow! Celebrated a co-worker's birthday and had some of the best food ever! The service was fantastic too. Our large group (mostly Americans) appreciated the helpful menu and portion suggestions. Definitely going to visit this place again! Thanks for a lovely dining experience.

I've never been so disrespected in a restaurant in my life. Worst service, the way they treated me after giving me food I'm allergic to (which I clearly discussed with the waiter when ordering) and placing the blame on me was unbelievable.

In pudong - located close to a busy road. Inside abiance is one of the best in shanghai. Visit in 2018 was great, 2nd visit in Sep 2019 was a bit disappointing. Prawns were soft, nan was chewy- perhaps under cooked; curry was lacking…...

Order only Tandoori Chicken. Also I think the name is "Indian" but the owners are Pakistani and Indian. Rest of the food is pathetic.

Authentic Indian food. Got to visit with friends many times and it was nice. Easily accesible in Pudong. Very close to Marriott and Ramada hotels. Less expensive when compared to other restaurents in the area.…...
