Expansive museum with a trove of valuable collections. Including some extremely significant items. Nicely organized, beautifully presented and with beautiful fitting architecture, there were also some activities that could be booked for an additional charge, such as a historical musical program. Definitely worth the price of admission.

Mostly highlights the development of pottery through the ages in China. A nice place to visit, shows information both in English and Chinese. Entry is free, but reservation required, which can be done on site. For foreigners, no reservation required, one can enter by just showing the passport.

有着中国最好藏品的省级博物馆之一。我甚至希望说是唯一。这里有著名的曾侯乙古墓出土的众多神奇文物。估计谁都记得编钟，其实精美的不仅是编钟，还有很多非常值得观赏的青铜器。其中一个铜尊盘，做工极其复杂，据工作人员介绍，博物馆试图复制，但却无法完成。可见我们的祖先有多么伟大。我以为，博物馆一个重要的功能就是教育。相信每一个中国人看到自己的祖先如此伟大，都会对中华民族的自己祖先有着无法言表的崇敬之情。越王勾践剑也是博物馆镇馆之宝。有机会去武汉，不能错过这个博物馆。

Here keeps Chime Bells which is the largest bronze musical instrument discovered so far, as well as the sword of Zhou Juan, the king of the Yue State in the Spring and Autumn Period, who is very well-known to Chinese people.

湖北省博物馆是全国八家中央地方共建国家级博物馆之一、国家一级博物馆、出土木漆器保护国家文物局重点科研基地、国家AAAAA级旅游景区，也是湖北省规模最大、藏品最为丰富、科研实力最强的国家级综合性博物馆。有中国规模最大的古乐器陈列馆。现有馆藏文物26万余件(套)，以青铜器、漆木器、简牍最有特色，其中国家一级文物945件(套)、国宝级文物16件(套)。越王勾践剑、曾侯乙编钟、郧县人头骨化石、元青花四爱图梅瓶为该馆四大镇馆之宝。

Es ist unmöglich, das ganze Museum an einem Tag anzusehen. Beeindruckend waren für mich vor allem die Exponate aus der Bronzezeit, vorwiegend aus Gräbern, so ganz unterschiedlich zu den Funden aus Europa.…...

Impressive bells and ming pottery on display with good attempt to translate in English for non-Chinese speaking visitors to understand. Some glimpse of world class exhibits and portrayal of excavation sites.

A gorgeous place to spend at least three hours on. A concise exhibit that showcases what Hubei is known for. Go for the souvenirs, the bookmarks and nick nacks are very affordable.

Museum with free admission,  you only need to book a few hours to visit, just watch out for the queues at the entrance There are some really interesting exhibits to see.

Un encuentro inolvidable de dos grupos Latinos en Asia, Panama, Colombia, Cuba y Venezuela, todos juntos disfrutando del viaje.

廁所不ok，很髒，設備不夠完善，用的人非常多，沒有考慮下一個人使用的感受，人民素養有進步的空間，但服務人員態度很好，因為17:00準時閉館，不會強迫尿急的女士們趕快出來，我覺得非常和善的先生，文物非常多，很值得參觀。

非常不錯的博物館。有不少獨一無異的藏品。特別是曾侯乙古墓展館的青銅器、漆器及玉器藏品，十分精彩。而曾侯乙編鐘，是鎮館寶藏之一。至於其它三樣鎮館寶藏，鄖縣人頭骨化石、元青花四愛圖梅瓶和和越王勾踐劍，亦不客錯過。

An excellent place to get in touch with China's history and ancient arts. Everything is well preserved.
