If I could leave a 0 star rating, I would. Security here was rubbish, 0% professional. We entered the club on Sunday 5th November. We decided to leave after a bit but it was raining heavily, therefore, we were waiting to find an uber to go back. This is when security thought he was all macho and better than us, telling us to get lost. We kindly told him that we are waiting for uber, he told he to go elsewhere, so we asked where, he told us to go to the photo place opposite. So then we did. While we were waiting for our uber in the photo place, we were just talking and looking outside, however, the security is one insecure guy because he left his post, took the effort to walk across and then walk into the photo place, where we were, and to just start swinging at us. Absolutely shocking behaviour and unprofessional as a security. I also do security jobs part time and we would be fired if I had done something like that, but he is still working there. Racist, insecure and unprofessional security!

This entire place is a scam. There was somehow a line to get in, but when we did, it was completely empty. The bouncer at the door claimed this was the “biggest club in Hongdae” , yet it was completely dead inside. Once inside, I set my backpack down at a table, because I saw plenty of Locals doing the same with no issue. Yet when I was going to leave my backpack (with my passport) was gone. After several minutes of panic, one of the guards finally asked me what I had lost, and to describe everything specifically. He pretended he had no idea what I was describing, but at the end he pulled out a trash bag containing only my stuff - my backpack and coat. He demanded a 5k won “storage fee “ which I paid between I just wanted to get out of there ASAP. Worst of all, when I went through the contents of my backpack later, I realized about 40 USD worth of foreign currency was taken out of the front pocket of the backpack. Wish I had checked it at the club. AVOID THIS CLUB AT ALL COSTS.

Honestly thought that the club felt a little too "grimy" for my liking. That said, it was still a fabulous experience, given it's my first time clubbing in Korea. I've heard a lot about Club Aura, and how it's one of the best clubs in Hongdae. 15k KRW for guys to enter, unless you get a table. The earlier you go, the less you'll need to pay; for 4 of us, we ended up getting a table for 250k KRW (which is a bottle of bubbles and a bottle of hard liquor). We ended up ordering 3x Moets throughout the night, which was 3x 280k KRW; not the cheapest but I thought it was fair for the amount of EDM fun we had. Don't think too much if you're coming, just enjoy yourself, vibing to the music.

been there only once, so maybe i was just unlucky. but for having to pay an entrance fee of 15k won (which is quite rare in hongdae) and praising themselves as the "biggest club in hongdae" it was quite disappointing. the drinks were ok, though slighty worse in value compared to other clubs. the actual dance floor was really, like really small. most of the space seems to be used for regular and vip tables. music was okay. (edm) i heard that sometimes they won't let you in if you are a foreigner. i did not have any problems getting in so i can't back that. however i did not see many other foreigners except for a few white girls and two other white guys.

Went on a Thursday and Friday night. Thursday, we had to pay 10000 KRW for entry, Friday 15000 KRW. Bouncer and club staff was nice to us, I spoke to them and they have a good impression about Singaporeans. Drinks are a minimum 100000 KRW, where they will assign a table to you, we got free mixers both nights which was a bonus. We went to the 1st branch, they played EDM music only. Was a good vibe but I think the same songs were being played both nights so that's the only bad thing. Love the korean and european people in the pit, was getting high off the music together

This club is absolutely ridiculous. The promoters tried to convince us for 5 minutes that is is definitely worth waiting in the queue for half an hour, because "this place is amazing. You'll love it!". After 30 minutes of waiting we finally made it to the entrance. Nevertheless, the bouncers didn't seem very happy to see non-Koreans. "No foreigners! Go away" was everything they could say. So, we got out of the line, walked along the queue and met the same promoters that were trying to convince us a second time to go in their club. I've never experienced such ineptitude.

Just like all the other reviews, this club is quite racist. Be careful of the security guards, as they will definitely try to scam you if you're a foreigner. The security guard first tried to first tell me that my pants weren't suitable to enter, even though I was wearing black dress slacks, however they would let me in if I bought a "50,000 won drink package". When we refused this, we were then told that we could enter if we paid 20,000 won instead of 10,000 won normal entry price (?). Don't even bother with this club.

Club Aura in Hongdae is an amazing spot! I love the vibrant atmosphere and the welcoming vibe it offers. As a foreigner, I felt right at home here. The music was fantastic, and the energy on the dance floor was contagious. The staff was friendly, and the drinks were on point. It's definitely a must-visit club in Hongdae for anyone looking to have a great time and immerse themselves in a foreigner-friendly environment. Highly recommended!

We paid 15.000 won at the entrance, and when it was time to use the lockers service (the lockers are at the entrance, so you have to undress quickly and give them your belongings ) we paid 3.000 won for a bag. We needed another bag, so i gave him other 3.000 won but he pretendend not to understand and he stared at my jacket, then we have been told to go to dance! We PAID TWICE and no additional bag has been given! I will NEVER ever come back here!!! The music wasn't even good! My valuation is 0/10!

Tiny hall, boring music and terrible drinks are waiting in the Club. Club opens at 9:30 pm. Entrance is free until 10pm. Please enter before 10pm it's worthless to pay. Keeping baggage is 3000₩(per 1 plastic bag) I entered before 10pm and there was almost nobody. This club is get crowded after 12:00. If you just want to chill with your groups for a while with loud music(before 10pm) it's good choice. This place tries to be hip but it's total fail. Average age of this club is very low.

Hip hop kind of music, my friends and i honestly didn't enjoy it very much. We got there late from another club and they charged ladies 15000 won and the guys 20000 won. We all got a free Asahi beer, but we didn't stay long. They have lockers too but the place was gross and there were too many smokers compared to the first club we were at. Eventually we went back to that first club and enjoyed the rest of our night. I would not recommend if you're not super into hip hop music

The line was long-ish but the club was empty-ish when we were let in (they also charge a 15k cover fee. But it was really nice and I'm happy to be here. . Love to visit again this place

This is "the best club in hongdae" but any edm club back home in San Francisco is better. Production is lackluster, drinks are watered down, and the music is absolutely wack. The DJs here don't know how to get a FLOW going, and they reuse the same pre-drop samples 10 times (not exaggerating). Save your money and don't pay cover if you're visiting. Absolutely not worth your time.

We paid 20,000 won each and got stamps to come in and out. We were advised that we had to line back up at the end of the line because it was too crowded. The nationals were able to go through without issue. Racist place if you’re not a National. Discrimination is high here. Security guards are also hustlers.

As a french man I could enter without problems. Music is okay and people are dancing. But the club is weird toward women : They have a place reserved for women, which is right next to VIP place ( lol ). They also almost force women to drink by all means ( workers coming with huge bottle toward you, free drinks... ). If you're a woman you should be careful about it.

My friends got assaulted by security while they were waiting outside in the rain. If the security guards are going to attack instead of looking out for the people, the club is going to close down soon! Please get rid of securities like this or give them proper training as this is highly unprofessional.

loud, lively, crowded, it seems as if guys are more than gals, not bad in musicwise, pretty bad in manners, little room but manageable space, some staff keep blowing whistle, which annoyed me a lot. apart from those, i was satisfied with it. not bad choice at all. ah the locker costs a bit more expensive than the other clubs.

Line is overly Kong and at the end they will ask if you have s friend as solo entry is not allowed. Even if you invite a friend over you will both wait again to pay $20 to get in.The alcohol is nothing worth it and the the 0lace is extremely full on Saturdays in a way that's not good. Not worth the price honestly

The best EDM club that I was in Hongdae! They have special stage with DJ&MC~ also a special zone only for girls of they do not wanna interact with boys. Till 11pm the entrance is free for girls even on weekend! I was dancing all night there with my friends! For sure we will come back there~~!!

Free entry before 12am. If you leave after 12 and come back then you'll have to pay. Big place, good music - a great place to dance. They have lockers for ₩2000. There are shooter girls who walk around and give free shots to all the ladies. A good start especially for the ladies.

Had a great time with my friends here. We managed to get entry for both clubs and swapped between Club Aura and G2. Overall, very fun experience. However, if you have asthma or any respiratory health conditions, do keep in mind that smoking in the club is allowed.

So back in 2016 and 2018 this was my favorite club. I'm too old to probably get in now as I had to sweet talk the security in 2018 and he thought I was lying about my age lol.... They always played the best house music when I went. I never had any real issues.

Club Aura is in the middle of Hongdae - a quarter crammed with lovely little cafes, bars and clubs mostly crowded on weekends and even on weekdays filled with lovely young people. Foreigners and locals mix nicely here and the ladies here… 자세히

Good club. Make sure your stamp is on your hand before you exit if you want to get back in. Not quite an American race. But after 2 am it gets pretty lit.

힙존에서 테이블을 잡았다. 힙존은 생각보다 좁았지만 남녀가 서로 맞부딪히며 춤을 추었다. 심심해서 edm존에 갔더니 확실히 크고 규모가 달랐다. Edm존은 남자 70퍼 여자 30퍼 정도로 구성되어있다. 남녀가 서로 얼굴을 붉힐 일은 하지 않았으면 좋겠다.

the promoters are so creepy they literally stand outside the club harassing any women who walk by to get them to come into the club.

Terrible club, stole my friends bag and then claimed they never had it. Definitely a dogsh*t club on a Thursday night for sure.

One of the best clubs here. Beware of staying too long. You might not be able to hear afterwards.

Great club! Cool music, amazing atmosphere, people & DJ. The music is deafening loud though.

냄새가 안좋고, 그냥 시끄러운, 듣기좋은 느낌은 아니었어요. 그래도 분위기 띄워주는 분들이 잘해주셔서 놀만했어요. 그래도 다시가긴 망설여지네요.ㅜㅠ
