I enjoyed the afrobeat tracks at this location when I stopped by on a Saturday night. Parking was available and free, and there was no cover. The vibe was more like a lounge when I arrived a few minutes past 10 pm. That transformed into a more active scene when the crowd picked up sometime past 11 pm. However, the music stayed great, and the bartenders remained attentive. I noticed the bathroom was clean as well.

Really appreciate the expansion of the lounge but honestly and respectfully speaking it’s a bit over rated. If you’re looking for a place to enjoy music and have a mediocre drink then this s the place for you! The atmosphere is trying, but don’t expect a casual sit down without having to pay for a booth when you only came to grab a couple of drinks and enjoy music.

Nice joint to relax if you go week days including Friday, nice music the suya is the best almost like the suya they make in Nigeria, good customer service,I gave four star because of $10 parking and sitting difficulty on a busy day like Saturday unless you are ready to buy a bottle for $200, other than that it's cool joint,be aware there's no dance floor.

Full bar. Service was lacking - waited at the bar for over 15mins to get a drink. Music was OK. 98% African music. Hookah was good. Didn't get food but the lady next to Me said none of her food (chicken wings, I believe) had flavor.

This was a different experience for me. Not really my scene, but was exploring. Can be a chill atmosphere (need some upkeep) messed up tiles and bathroom door wasnt locking. Valet workers were very friendly. This was a BYOB night ..so didn't order food or drinks. We went out to eat prior.

Cool place but the DJ needs much improvement! He plays songs for ~10 seconds and then changes. He does not read the audience well at all. It's rather frustrating, especially if you are there to have fun and dance. Aside from him, it's a nice spot and clean! The owner is great, too!

A safe and matured place to be, good music, good service and matured lounge for any matured soul, the security within and outside is reliable, if you're new in the neighborhood, 042 Lounge is the place to be you'll not regret.

I don’t go out like that but this place changed my mind. I went there on a whim and boy I enjoyed myself. Didn’t dance with anyone but the crowd was so chill and I don’t have to worry about my safety. I’ll definitely be back at least once a month

1st timer here. Good afro beats music. Chill laid back spot to sit with friends. Our waitress Lisa was so pleasant and attentive ❤️. Clean bathrooms . We will be back.

Best Nigerian Dj from Friday - Saturday he really knows music... he doesn't just play what's hot he'll take you back with classic hits too. Whatever they're paying him in sure it isn't enough. Easy going crowd nice blend of personalities

Came from Dallas first time to hang here. Nice place to be if you really wanna listen to Good Afrobeat. Drinks was nice, DJ was on point and staffs are very nice. Will surely come back here anytime I visit Htown.

Good songs with great DJ but enterance is not restricted so u got all stuffs of persons dressed in all sorts of manner come into the club making it look like a club for all comers. Not too good for me like that

Nice lounge but the dj only plays African music! I like African music but I also like a variety! I’m Jamaican and ask the dj several times to play a variety of music! He chose not to!

This is one of the worst nightlife experience ever. Owner was extremely rude, Service was horrible. I will not recommend it at all, please do not, I mean do not go to the lounge.

Largely Nigerian club with Nigerian music with a sprinkling of international music. The drink is very affordable. The DJ is dynamite on the wheels of steel. Solid DJ!!

This club has gone down. It feels like you’re selling your soul to the devil just to be in this club. Very expensive and not worth it.

The new expansion is very nice, good food. No dedicated dance floor so I miss that energy of being in a crowd dancing.
