I have been looking for a new dentist in Oakville and 16-mile was recommended on one of my facebook groups. I appreciate that they bill insurance directly as this was a must for me. I took my daughter (11) and I have never heard her say "I like this place" when visting a dentist! The staff were all inviting and kind. Dr. Sama took the time to chat with my daughter and I, and I mean like family, a real person to person talk. Not medical, just honestly getting to know one another. We did not feel rushed in any way. My daughter was very comfortable and will be happy to go back. I was so impressed with the interaction that I registered my son and myself as new patients. If you're a nervous dental patient, (and believe me, I am one of those patients) and you're seeking a compentent dentist with HIGH EQ (emotional intellegince) then look no further, sixteen mile dental is the office you need. When they say they treat you like family, it's not hokey marketing, they legitimately treat you like family. I will also say that I met several other patients while we were at the office, and they were all amazing. Seriously, good people here all around!

I am so incredibly happy I went to 16 Mile Dental! I had a huge fear of dentists due to some incidents that happened in my childhood/teen years and as such, avoided dentists for a very long time. I'm now in my 50s and as you can imagine, my teeth were not in the best shape. I asked for recommendations for a dentist after I broke two molars and knew I couldn't avoid going to a dentist any longer. Dr. Salim's name came up many times so I made the appointment. She was incredible. So caring and non-judgemental (I was very embarrassed at the state of my teeth). She came up with a plan for me (including fixing the molars) and made sure I was a part of the decision making process (i.e. for me, a few cosmetic things were higher on my list of priorities). Her team was incredibly compassionate and even held my hand when I was getting my mouth frozen for the work. I'm about halfway through everything I need done and I couldn't be happier. Thank you, Dr. Salim and staff for getting me smiling again.

I started attending 16 Mile Dental this year, after now being a client for almost a year, and many appointments (Cavities - Not just a kid thing apparently). The staff are very friendly and professional, the office is very clean, the tech seems to be top shelf. I would recommend 16 Mile Dental to anyone looking for a welcoming place, with friendly staff, and a very competent dentist. Honestly, it was the easiest freezing needle....ok, fine, needles, plural, because I had a few cavities, and it was the most pain free freezing I've had done. I would also recommend to use them for your whole family. My 3 step-kids go there and they like the dentist and the other staff there. I really only started going after asking the opinion of 3 very honest young ones.

I hate ‘dentists’; not the people, but the experience, so much so I avoided them for years. I hated the bright lights, the gagging as they x-ray teeth, the fear of pain and that they often never explain what they are doing, but throw out the tooth numbers and say things unknown to me like “fractured cusp” or “incisal angle” or “dental floss”. I have to admit, I have only had one experience at this facility, but the lights aren’t so bad (and they provide sunglasses), they work fast during x-rays to ensure you don’t gag and everything was explained, every step of the way, in a manner that helped understand the process. I need a lot of dental work, but after this first visit, I trust them enough to guide me through my fears. They get high marks from me.

I hadn't been to the dentist in few months and have missed my appointment due to COVID-19 . My fears fell away when I walked in. I felt like I was visiting family , Scheduling an appointment was a breeze , the office is extremely clean and sanitized, My hygienist was an absolute delight , she even had a relaxing music playing in the background, I did not feel a thing (I felt like a feather was cleaning my teeth) Always have a great, smooth experience here. The staff are friendly, respectful, caring and courteous of your time. The office is run very smoothly and efficiently. I've only just switched to 16 Mile Dental but so far I've had a really good experience. Everyone is really nice and I feel like the staff enjoy working there even when I've gone in on a Saturday. Dr. Waled is my Denitst at the clinic. He's been very helpful as he explains what's happening and what options are available for treatment which I really appreciate as my other dentists have not really explained in the past. They really do listen and pay attention to you as a patient which I think is really important. If you are looking for a new dentist definitely check out 16 Mile Dental.

My young daughter has needed a lot of dental work over the past year...16 Mile Dental has been extremely patient and kind while working with us, to the point that she is often asking us when we can go back to the dentist! They pay attention to details, taking time to explain everything thoroughly.... they take great care of their patients, always remembering to give my daughter stress balls to fidget with while they work on her. The 16 Mile Dental team is one big family, and from the moment you enter, they make you feel like you’re apart of it. They provide excellent care in a timely manner; as some of the lockdown restrictions were being lifted, I was eager to reschedule my lost appointment, and they were able to get me in within days. My son has started his treatment which includes expanders on his upper teeth and Invisalign on his lower jaw. It was a tremendous relief for us to have this treatment plan- it saved my son from having to wear headgear all his waking hours and from another expander style that screws into bone instead of being fastened to teeth. Dr. Sama’s care and attention to detail has been amazing. We have been able to get our questions answered throughout the entire process. Overall an amazing experience with all staff at the office.
