I recently completed a move from a 1 bedroom apartment in Atlanta to a storage unit in Miami, which was not satisfactory. To top it off, I sent 404movers a private email with this feedback and they responded thanking me for my request for a quote - they didn't even read my email! I will say I learned that some employees at 404movers were infected with COVID right before my move, which meant the men who completed my move were not experienced movers. While I empathize with this situation, there were multiple things about my move I was unsatisfied with. Things done well: - Up front deposit was reasonable ($100) and so was payment (half when truck was loaded and other half on offload day) - Security. 404movers asked me to buy my own lock for the truck. At first I was surprised but it actually gave me peace of mind that my items would be secure and would not be held hostage by 404movers since I had the key (as I've heard has happened to some of my friends with other moving companies). Things done poorly: - Packing services: I paid for packing but I told the movers when they arrived to leave behind the suitcases I'd already packed (all in the same area) because I didn't want them to go into storage, and the movers did not listen and almost packed all of those items - The movers left ~20 items behind at the end of their packing and loading process (many of which I'd specifically pointed out needed to be packed). Additionally, when two of the movers came back to pick up the forgotten items, the first thing one of them said was, "You know we accept tips right?" I was very taken aback by this statement because 1) I fully intended to tip them but I hadn't paid for the service yet and 2) There was no acknowledgment of the mistake that ~20 items were left behind, but instead what felt like an accusation that I would not tip them. - Later, on offload day, one of my boxes was soaking wet. This is when we discovered there was a hole in the corner of the truck, which had caused the box to get wet. They no solution for the soaking wet box they were about to put into my storage unit. I ended up taking the wet box home with me so mold wouldn't grow in my storage unit. - When I looked inside the wet box, I also found out that the movers used no packing paper or bubble wrap whatsoever. It was a box that was labeled "fragile" with kitchen and bathroom items (including a crockpot and some ceramic items), yet they were all thrown into a box without any wrapping, except for occasional saran wrap to keep things together such as silverware. - I also expressed to the movers that I wanted to make sure my bedding did not get dirty, but on offload day I found an open box with my bedding overflowing out of it with my white throw blanket and pillows resting on top. I also found out on offload day that my mattress was not covered in a mattress cover at all. The movers instead decided to leave my white fitted sheet on the mattress and wrap the mattress in saran wrap. Naturally, the saran wrap shifted while moving and my fitted sheet was filthy on offload day. I brought this up to the movers and they promised to reimburse me for the cost of the sheet, but I still have not received this payment. I would have bought a mattress cover myself if I'd known they would do this, but I was told the movers would bring all necessary packing materials. - Some of my items were completely unwrapped - such as my headboard and large brass floor lamp. - The person in charge of my move complained throughout the process, tried to change the move date a few days before, and changed the time of my move multiple times, causing me extra stress with my storage reservation As you can probably tell, this was a frustrating experience. I can't say I'd recommend 404movers, especially for packing, but I will also acknowledge I had some inexperienced movers due to COVID.I hope this feedback helps them improve in the future.

If I could give negative stars I would, times infinity. Do not EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER USE THESE MOVERS. I’ll never use them again. I had been using them for years until this last move and I will never ever use them again. First of all, they were late. Second of all. They were moving super slow and when I’d go to check the hold up, they would be on their phones. It seemed like they were deliberately wasting time to get paid more. I have video of one of them standing around. I had to help move the last of their moving items out of my place because they were taking forever. They took over two hours to get to my new spot from the old one. It took me 45m. They LOST one of my tables. I saw them put it on the truck and it NEVER made it to my house. They scratched up the new floors in my new place AND broke my adjustable base. To top it off, I had to kick them out of my house. One of the movers began getting disrespectful with me and upset because his colleague quoted me one thing and I said no when asked to pay a $1000.00 bill. The bill was brought down to $800.00 something or rather I have had no help with the claims I’ve submitted and receive no response when I email or ask for a call back. This company does not care about the consumer and they are NOT worth the trouble. They are rude and inconsiderate and they hire young men who have no respect for you or your property. Stay away. And don’t even worry about responding to this one because I have video, photos and audio of every single conversation and nothing you respond with is going to change people’s minds about using you in the future. If you can go with another company, DO THAT. Update: I finished submitting my claim on June 7th. Despite several follow up calls and emails, I have received nothing. So, not only will they lose and damage your property, you may never be compensated for it. This company is not worth the risk. Update 8/11/23: I still have not received the money from the claim. I was told back in July that l would have it by the 21st, obviously that did not happen. Brent handles claims, rather he doesn’t handle them because it’s been four months since I moved. I spoke with Jeffrey today who could care less about my experience. He says he’ll get the claim closed out. They will pay me .60 per pound of the item that was damaged because that’s the insurance I chose and that’s on me for not reading the documentation I signed. I was rushing to get it completed because the movers showed up late and didn’t read a thing. My mistake. My table was lost. I made the table so it can’t be replaced but no one cares that my items were lost and they haven’t taken ownership of it. I’m so ready for this nightmare to be over. Please don’t use this company. I’ve never had a more terrible customer service experience.

I used 404 Movers to last month for a move, mainly because you guys had decent reviews and were a bit cheaper than your competitors. However, the handling of the move was completely unprofessional by the ownership/leadership of the company. We had the move scheduled for 1:30. Someone called me approximately 30 minutes prior to when they were supposed to arrive and said they would be 2 hours late. We had to turn the keys over to the apartment at 4:30, so we left plenty of buffer room for the move out part so we would be able to do that. I had to continuously call for updates to figure out what was going on and when someone would arrive. Someone finally arrived around 2:45. With the arrival, they sent two movers that did not have too much experience dissembling and reassembling furniture. In addition, I asked for a mattress protection cover with my move and did not receive it and watched my mattress be on the dirty floor as they moved it. We had everything in boxes and ready to go, but the total move still took 5.5 hours - we were quoted 3 hours max by most other moving companies for a 2 bedroom. The movers got tired halfway through and I could tell they were not working as fast as they should. In addition, they could not figure out how to reassemble the furniture they took apart, wasting time. In addition, a lot of time was also spent on the phone fighting with the owner on how they shouldn't have come to the job. At the end of the move, I had scratches on my brand new corner desk, a broken jewelry case and a rip in my roommate's mattress. So I call the owner for a discount and he offers $50 and starts unprofessionally yelling over the phone when I say I would like more due to the above stress. I will not use 404 movers again and will deter friends from using them in the future. Although I understand movers run late, I think remorse for making us go through such a stressful moving day due to their movers getting tired and showing up late would've helped us have a better opinion, instead of yelling at us for asking for a discount. The low prices aren't worth dealing with the unprofessional-ism of management. Next time, we'll go with a more reputable mover.

This moving company screwed us over BAD. I'm trying to remember all the ways while writing this, but there's a good chance I left some out. We scheduled a packaging move for a Saturday morning, a 4-guy job which should have taken a few hours. We noted in our reservation that the loading driveway is sloped and they should send someone over to make sure they get the right truck in, since we don't need a huge one. Of course, they made no followup and just sent the hugest truck they had. The truck couldn't fit, so all four guys up and left and we were promised a different crew for later that day (our destination lease forebids Sunday move-ins). The second truck came late, drove past our house three times, attempted to get in the driveway and just left. I had to call the driver and ask him what was up - he said he "couldn't fit in the driveway", even though he never even bothered to try backing up into it. When I told him to come back, he backed in easily. Then it turned out this was only a two-man crew, who knew nothing of the job and weren't equipped for a packaging. When we called their dispatcher he bore no responsibility for this mishap (favorite quote: "when you asked me if the price included packaging I didn't think you meant you want packaging"). This crew didn't even have a toolbox, so all furniture dis/assembly (none of which they got right unless I supervised them) had to be done using whatever I had lying around the house (plus two runs to the hardware store). They ended up moving the furniture and some boxes we scurried to pack during the day (we have kids; it's hard), leaving us working the entire following two days packing and moving stuff in our car. Of course we were charged the full price. Throughout this entire experience the people on the phone did their best to get away from the job altogether, push it forward (we couldn't), leave our family without beds to sleep in. If you care about your time and sanity and are not as assertive as I am, do not do business with this company. The second star is because I guess things can go worse - they took reasonable care of our stuff mostly.

My fiancé and I just used 404 Movers for our moving service on July 21, 2017. I suggested we use 404 due to the fact I had used them three times in the past and they had been amazing. However, I must say I was very disappointed with the services this time around. First the move took seven hours when it should have taken five. Second, the movers showed up with the improper tools to take apart my Restoration Hardware bed and it took over an hour for them to dismantle. Moreover I had to plead with them to wrap it as it was very expensive instead of just putting the pieces on the truck. Third, no mattress boxes were provided, which Elizabeth paid for which are on the agreement. Due to the fact they did not put the mattresses in boxes as requested, the mattress covers sustained severe damage and now have to be replaced. Fourth, during the move our furniture was covered in sweat and has caused us to deep clean all of the fabric and leather furniture. Fifth, it was very apparent that the movers had other plans Friday night and were more worried about making those plans than properly moving our furniture. One even commented he has a date to get too. This caused a lot of our boxes, which were not to be stacked due to being fragile, to be stacked and items received damage. Sixth, a hole was put in our new walls when they rushed taking a sofa upstairs. Furthermore I had to put the sofa back together after they took it apart and could not figure it out. Luckily I had tools to do so. They also damaged an expensive light fixture as they took it up the stairs. Seventh, my Father was nice enough to put my bed back together since the workers could not since they lacked the tools to do so. Eighth, they dropped our $3,000 custom dining room table scratching it. Ninth, They did not wrap one of the couches which was requested and they did not reassemble a dresser which they took apart to move.

Avoid at all cost. They claim to give same or better service than big name movers, but they lack basic ethics of doing business. My moves was planned more than three weeks before the move date. I called them 3 days before the move to make sure everything was in order, and they mentioned everything was going as per plan and I would receive scheduling confirmation text. So I received the text on my phone on the day of the move that the movers were on their way. We kept waiting for 2 hours before giving them a call. To my surprise, we were asked by the person on duty whether we had canceled our move. Why would I cancel my move then call you to check where the movers were? I was told that there is no move planned for me and that the system that sends the text messages regarding schedule confirmation is not linked with scheduling system. AWESOME. They did not even care to apologize for all the mess they had created. So after going to and fro for next 4 hours our move was finally scheduled for next day. This time the movers actually showed up and finished the move in best possible way. It was an in-town move and it ended up wasting my entire weekend so I had to take one day off from my work. I can not imagine the problem it could have been if we were moving somewhere far. After the move I spoke to the back office again and they assured me a discount and mentioned it would post to my credit card within 2-3 days. It has been more than a month and I am yet to see that discount. Now they have even stopped taking my calls. This shows that the company does not care for its customers at all and deals in most unethical way. I am also reporting them to BBB.

THESE GUYS ARE AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! First a little back story of the day, I was supposed to move. I had a company scheduled 6 months in advance. The day of my move, 15 minutes before the movers were suppose to be there, I get a call stating they will have to reschedule my move date because, THEY don't move in the rain!!!!! After going back and forth with that set of movers, I was forced to try and find someone else. I found another set of movers and was scheduled for 2pm. In no fault of that company, I got a call 50 minutes before they were suppose to move me, stating the driver and mover up and quit! Needless to say, frustration sets in! I received a referral to 404 MOVERS and spoke with Mike. He was a GOD sent! He was able to move me on short notice within my budget! When Rico and Quetin got there, they were BLESSINGS! SUPER PROFESSIONAL. SUPER FAST AND EFFICIENT! DEPENDABLE AND SMILED through the whole disaster! These guys stayed through the downpour and frustration of moving to a third floor apartment and never complained (at least not in front of me)! I know they were tired, but kept smiling and telling me they had my back and would get me moved in...NO WORRIES! This company is TOP NOTCH and I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND 404 Movers! THANK YOU guys so much for helping me in such short notice and with total professionalism through the whole process! You guys are BEST!!!

I know moving and finding a moving company is not the easiest choice to make at such a challenging time. I called 404Movers Inc and spoke to Jeffery. He did not try to wheel and deal me, we discussed all the details and l told him l would get back with him after speaking to my husband. When we had additional questions, Jeffery responded in a timely manner. Jeffery did not call and harass us, he checked in with us, which was truly appreciated . The crew of movers were Vershaun, Garren (G) and Yohanes and they were amazing, my husband was very impressed with them as well. They are professional, respectful, and true worker bees. I like that each one had their own assignment and they worked as a team and at full throttle the entire time during our move and it all came together smoothly. Let me say this, these men know their jobs and they delivered, show them what you want done, and move out of their way. They've got this. All my items were handle with care and we didn't have one incident or problem. I am so thankful our move wasn't a nightmare, it went better than l could have imagined. When l have to move again, l pray these gentleman will be available. I also hope this company realize what an asset these gentleman are, and this is a true representation of great work ethics. Thank you so very much guys for all your very hard work.

2 reviews 5.0 star rating 10/19/2017 I couldn't find anyone to help me to move and fortunately 404 Movers was there for me on very short notice. Howard called me an hour before my appointment time to confirm the time and address - and to also let me know they were well on their way. Not only were they punctual they were also very professional. They arrived at the address for my storage unit before I was there and the 3-man crew immediately introduced themselves once I was there. After quickly surveying my belongings and the storage building they got to work and seemed to get done very fast. When we got to the destination I was moving to they were even faster because as Howard explained 'the second part of moving is always the easier part'. I really appreciate that they took the time to ensure that all furniture and boxes were placed in the correct room and everything was to my satisfaction. All this was completed faster than was initially quoted for my move for a 4-bedroom home. Shout outs to my movers Howard, Cornelius and Steve for doing a great job and to the salesperson Steve for working with me when I needed them most. I would definitely recommend 404 Movers to anyone who plans to move.

Well the reason for my comment is they were very unprofessional. Started out to be here between 930-1030 then it got moved to 1030-1130 then they finally arrived at 210 took them 4 hours to load the truck which if all three of the guys wou,d have been working it would nothave taken that long they were riding the time because the real small guy was the only one working the other 2 was always on their phones. The driver got ot of the truck and started throwing stuff out of the back of the trunk. You could he didn't want to be there. The way they had that truck loaded looked like my 13 year grandso did it. To top it all off we had to look at 2 of the guys Uderwear the e tire time. I feel like we were milked of money and we deserve part of it refunded because of the unprofessional business you . Also the movers knocked the trim off the stairs moving stuff in being careless. We unbocked the 65 inch TV in tue bedroom and they busted the screen on it . We will be expecting the labor to repair the tim on the stairs and my tv replaced Brenda Kirby Jessica and Ben Dollins Well it has been 2 weeks and nothing has been done to correct this issue . I guess this company doesn't care

Won't Process Claim and Ignored BBB, too Update: I did get a partial refund after I filed a complaint with the state. They dropped my sewing machine and caused $129 in damage. They never responded my request to file a claim or process reimbursement for the damage. They carry $300 damage coverage so there's no reason for them to refuse. After repeated attempts by mail and phone, I filed a complaint with BBB. They didn't respond. Fortunately, I charged the moved so finally called my credit card company and filed a dispute. They caused other damage, including ruining mattress and box springs covers that had to be thrown out (they were new) and numerous nicks and dings in wood furniture. They couldn't figure out how to reattach a mirror to a dresser (they said it wouldn't fit because they were trying to attach it vertically instead of horizontally) One mover seemed to be experienced, but the other two weren't.. Look at their negative reviews. You will see they are defensive and always have an excuse. Update: I contacted the Georgia Department of Public Safety and filed a complaint with them. They negotiated a partial payment and 404 Movers sent the check immediately.

HORRIBLE to say the least. I received a call today, 10 minutes before my scheduled appointment saying that the movers were stuck on the other side of town due to rain. (The sun was bright and shining on my side of town). I was told that according to the weather app for that side of town, that it would be raining until 8pm. I was asked if the movers could come to me on tomorrow. I explained that we'd taken off of work today for our scheduled appointments and could not take off 2 days in a row to accommodate THEM. Especially when they already have my deposit money. I asked to speak with a manager or someone who would get something done to accommodate my scheduled appointment. I was promised that someone would call me and I still have not received a call. My things are still not moved and I have no idea if they are planning to come or not. I have called the main phone number on their website as well as the number that the representative called me from and my calls have been ignored. This company is unprofessional, unreliable and do not deserve to remain in business. If you choose to use this company, prepare to be frustrated and to have your time and money wasted.

Finding out which movers to trust with your belongings is really difficult and can be nerve racking. I spoke to a lot of different moving companies at many different price points but Mitch from 404 Movers was the only one that truly put my mind at ease from our very first conversation. He was responsive over the phone or cia text at all times, detailed and assured us that his team and company were very experienced with doing out of state moves. We moved from Atlanta, GA to Jacksonville, FL, a 5.5hr trip. He assured us that the trip is not only familiar but their company performs several out of state moves per month and has been doing for years. A three man team came to load up our two bedroom apartment and quickly (and carefully) loaded up the whole place in two hours onto the truck the day before our move. The following day we met the truck in Jacksonville, FL where ONE MAN unloaded all our belongings into our 4th floor apartment in THREE HOURS! Couches, beds, boxes, bins, the whole thing! And not one thing was broken or scratched! (Thank you TROY!) Everything was done quickly and professionally, friendly team, made us so comfortable. Thank you all so much!

STAY AWAY!!! THEIR PEOPLE WERE LITERALLY HOOD THUGS. I saw the reviews and opted for 404 movers. These reviews are fake. All 3 individuals were suspicious. They had gold teeth and could barely keep their pants up. They blatantly kept pressuring us for tips before even starting the job!!!!! I noticed that one person was barely working but rather eyeing all of our electronics. This is despite me standing outside the room. He kept asking us about what we do for a living. The entire experience was bad from beginning to end but we had to no choice due to the move out date so we went through with it. They damaged our bedroom furniture and scrapped some walls trying to take the easy route. It took them 3 hours to move out one bedroom. I've had other movers do it in 2 hours in the past. On top of that they refused to speed up until I promised to tip them a set amount. This was ludicrous....their boss on the phone didn't care either. They had our request mixed up as well. I ended up paying $200 more than their estimate...and I had a group of suspicious individuals working inside my home. Now I'm afraid of being robbed. DON'T HIRE THESE THUGS!!!!

My move occurred on 10/7. The movers didn’t wear face masks, and they scratched doors in my old place. Additionally, they didn’t wear shoe covers. One mover was very rude. He either answered my questions short or gave wrong answers. They routinely didn’t include things that needed to be included even after explaining what needed to be moved. A different mover played music on the speaker on his phone during the move. The movers bough 3 LARGE boxes to my new apartment that belonged to another individual in the new building. When I tried to call and inform them of this, no one answered the phone. This was made worse by the fact that the movers PACKED all of my belongings, so I am not sure how this could have happened. Lastly, I called on Thursday, 10/7, to speak with the company. I was told someone would call me back on Friday. I tried contacting the company on Friday and Saturday in order to talk through my issues before posting a review. It is now Tuesday, 10/12, and I’m no longer waiting to send the review. I’m VERY disappointed in the service I received. And I hope that they will reimburse for the damage done.

My actual move went pretty well, it was just to load my truck for a long distance move. Troy and Michael were great; they wrapped everything pretty well and none of my furniture was damaged that I have noticed. Now time wise, I made a 0900 appt but was given a 9-11 window for their arrival which they came at 1030. Now the 3rd guy, I can’t remember his name, but he needs a little more training in moving. One, he bounced my chester drawer down the stairs instead of getting one of the guys to help him. 2nd he lost the screws to my king bed. The owner will only reimburse for the cost of the screws. I explained that one the bed is discountinued so the screws aren’t easy to find and 2nd I have to have somebody come back out to put the bed together; I had people there for the unloading for that purpose. Owner will not reimburse for bed being put together because it was only a load truck move, and they were not the ones unloading the truck. So once again Troy and Michael were great. The owners response is why they lost 2 stars. I would be hesitant to recommend due to the fact that damage control is not his forte.

My movers did a great job. They were an hour late due to an earlier move taking longer than expected, but they made up for it by working double hard. Mario, Slim and their other coworker handled my move with care. My furniture was wrapped well. The reasons I didn't give five stars was because the main office didn't call me to say my movers were running behind scheduled and that they switched my move time less than 24 hours before my move. That caused me to rush and almost not have enough time to get back to my old location to finish cleaning after all the boxes and furniture had been moved. If the movers didn't haul butt, I wouldn't have been able to turn my keys in time to the leasing office. I originally booked an 8:30a move over a month in advance for a specific reason. Not moving until 5 hours later after my original requested time was cutting it close. Going forward, I hope 404 Movers will call at least 48 hours before a move to give customers a warning like that. The discount they offered help, but more noticed should have been given. I could have owed late fees at my current place.

5 HOURS LATE. Read this carefully because I read all of the “great” reviews and figured they outweighed the bad. Totally wrong. Scheduled a move and they were super friendly on the phone when booking - explained to me the process to let me know that we would receive a call a few days before then another an hour before our move time. Move was scheduled for 2pm.. We did not end up doing the move until FIVE HOURS later. After the first hour late, I started calling because I had not heard any communication from them that day explaining that they would be late. It wasn’t until they were two hours late that I finally had someone pick up the phone. He tells me that he will check and see where his guys are. 45 minutes later - STILL NO CALL. So I call back and he says its going to be at least another THREE HOURS (which means we had to move in the dark). The only good thing about this move was that the actual movers were quick and friendly when they arrived. But I would never work with this company again and advise others to do the same if you need your items in a timely manner.

Shattered my nightstand drawers after failing to tape them shut. I offered to tape everything and they told me they would handle it. Mistakes do happen so I was polite about the entire thing despite being sad my bedroom set was essentially ruined for now. They told me someone would call me the next day. No one did. When I called two days later, still being polite, the guy on the phone had the nerve to tell me the state law says they have 90-days to respond to my claim. After that, no one followed up with my claim. I told him if it took 2 weeks to hear from them about my furniture, I’d give them one star, and so here I am. Sad it even came to this. I paid $300 for the move and that’s how they did me, like I don’t matter after they got their money. I wouldn’t recommend them at all. If they want me to take down my negative review, I’ll be more than glad and willing to for the insurance claim or replacement of my nightstand. If not, and the claim surpasses 90 days, I will take them to court for a significantly increased amount and report them to BBB.

Would leave 0 stars. Team showed up late, 1 man short (was quoted 4 men) on a truck that would not fit all of my house. This is after sending them a video inventory of my home and all its contents. Was charged for the time that his men were on lunch as well as the time they waited in my driveway (at the home I moved to) for me to show up with my personal truck with the rest of my items. Their website promises an organized and planned move. The driver/team leader called me the morning of my move and asked how many bedrooms were in the home. Then called his boss and told him this wasn't a 3 man job. Horribly run company. Only good thing I can say is the team was polite and worked extremely hard. Just hung up with the owner, Mitch, who threatened legal action after his field supervisor agreed to a discount for all of my trouble as well as being charged a late fee for not being out of my home on time. UPDATED: I was solicited by the owner to write the original review after a bad experience with several broken items. In exchange for a gift card to settle the matter, he asked that I write a 5 star review. It has been a month since my review and I still have not received the gift card. I have contacted the owner multiple times and he kept assuring me that it was on the way but it have still yet to get it. So now I am adjusting my review to reflect my true experience. Still no gift card after a month and multiple inquiries and I am left with many broken items and no reimbursement/replacement. :-/ Thank you to the team at 404 Movers for their help during our recent move from our home. It was nice to have a team that showed up on time, worked hard, and got the job done as quickly as possible. It saved myself and my husband a lot of heartache with the heavy lifting being taken care of by the professionals. Their prices are very competitive and we were happy with the job done.

I used them in October for my move and I will never use them again. First they were late which isn’t a huge deal because I had nothing else scheduled that day but it’s very unprofessional. They mentioned how all my stuff was light and shouldn’t take long but ended up adding time at the end when it came to payment. One of the movers was also on the phone a couple of times while they were supposed to be moving my stuff. Then one of them lost their phone so that also took extra time to find. They also dragged my stuff instead of picking it up so now my $1,100 couch is ripped and my tables are messed up. They mentioned leaving a tip multiple times through the move which was so weird and uncomfortable. But becuase I left a tip they gave me a blanket that they wrapped my mirror in and it was completely covered in dog hair which was disgusting, they could have kept the blanket. They are just lazy and unprofessional and I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.

The good: the actual movers were on time, helpful, and got the job done. They were nice and professional. The bad: unless you can guarantee that nothing will get damaged, I would completely avoid this company. We had one piece of furniture that was damaged. I have exchanged over 10 emails with Brent. At first he sounded like he wanted to be helpful. He asked for pictures, for furniture model, and was able to price the claim. I was told that a check would be mailed for the agreed amount. This was over 2 months ago. Still no check. I have followed up multiple times but apparently now they are simply ignoring my emails and refusing to respond. From reading other reviews, apparently this is something they do with their claims (send you in circles, never deliver on promises). I have already steered away several friends from using this company, and will continue to do so. I also do not plan to use them again in the future.

I used them once before, and my move was perfect and quick. So, I decided to use them again! Not only did I witness them breaking items, like a tower fan and a flat screen TV, someone stole my child's Nintendo Switch and tried to change our password (I received an email notification). One of the 5 movers was never seen and when he was, he was complaining the entire time. Another mover used my phone to call his girlfriend to come pick him up after the move because the other movers were making him mad. One mover was showing everyone a pic of his new girlfriend on his phone. The last mover arrived late and left early, but i was charged 5 movers. They moved slow which ended up costing me $3300! For the stolen game console, I was only asked to file a police report...no sincere apologies or anything. I'm on disability and oxygen, and I feel taken advantage of due to it. I was not disable on my first move with them.

Wish I had read into more of the negative reviews. We were a NO call NO show as well for our confirmed move today. After calling the office all morning and getting transferred around I finally got in touch with someone who said “the movers had at overnight job that ran late”… at this point is was 12pm and our appointment time was 9am. This is after multiple staff members took down my information and even said they’d reach out to the owners. At one point I was calling so much they were screening my calls and not answering. The earliest they could move us is Monday. Barely an apology from anyone. Now myself and my husband are moving our entire house in the rain with a 1.5 year old. I will be getting my deposit back and writing the Better Business Bureau. This moving company is at worst a scam and at best a legitimate company that doesn’t care about customer satisfaction or reviews at all for that matter.

I had a terrible experience with 404 movers. First, they were nearly 2hrs late to my move in, and I ended up unloading most of the truck myself. When they came, they did a careless job and only did about 30 minutes of work. After this, they tried to charge me for 3 hours of labor plus a $200 travel fee. (They kept saying they have a 2hr minimum, but they were so late and only showed up for the last few minutes! I was also told over the phone when I scheduled that there would be no travel fee.) Communication was awful throughout, and I couldn't get anyone to tell me what my total cost would be. They kept sending different proposals and receipts to sign with conflicting and constantly changing amounts. Then, they charged my card an unauthorized amount because they had it on file from the deposit. The entire experience was very unprofessional and scam-y. 3 pieces of my furniture were also damaged.

No call, no show. Moving is stressful enough, but this “company” is by far the worst experience I have had with any entity clamoring Robbie a legitimate business. After not hearing from the movers at my scheduled time, I reached out and was told that someone would call me back. 3 hours and 5 calls later, still no call backs, resolution or communication of any kind. They cost me the deposit for the move, the fee for reserving the elevator at my building, and a fine for moving in after hours when I was forced to find alternate arrangements same day and last minute. This is not a legitimate business and they have no ability to handle any customer issues. Absolute worst experience with a “company” of any kind. No transparency, no resolution, no ability to resolve issues, only has sales people to sign you up for moves and does not have a quality pool of movers to work with. Avoid at all cost.

We used this company to begin our move of items to storage in preparation for the sale of our home. They never dropped the ball. Jeff helped me book the appointment, including walking me through each step of the process and advising what we could expect from them going forward. Michael called and followed up as I was told he would, and he also advised what would be happening (again). Horace and Morrie (sp?) were our movers, and they called ahead, arrived on time, were very pleasant, went straight to work, took great care in securing our items and inquired of our opinion on anything that might have been questionable (although they clearly knew what they were doing!). I cannot say enough great things about this experience and I would highly recommend them to anyone. When we finish our move, they will be the ones we call! Great job guys. Thanks so much!

My move went very well with 404 Movers. I was moving with my sister from a 2-bedroom apartment to 2 1-bedroom apartments that were side by side. Our move was from 10a - 1:30p, minus 30 mins for lunch, time was around 3 hours. 3 men, 1 truck @ $129/hrs + $69 travel. Starting from getting a good, clear quote to the move itself...customer service was great. I got a call to follow up on the quote I received, I appreciate their quick responsiveness. They were able to give me clear answers for any questions I had. Unlike some other companies that are vague. The movers were experienced & I felt confident in the way they packaged everything. They took great care in delivery up tricky stairs & asking where I wanted the heavier items to go. No damages, on time, good responsiveness, and affordable. Would use them again!

This has been by far the worst move I’ve had to pay hundreds of dollars for. They show up over 2.5 hours late, I call to get answers, no body picks up the phone for hours. I don’t get a communication of any kind until I send an email demanding my deposit back. When someone finally does show up, they get the job done but complained the whole time. I hope I don’t discover anything broken after how some of my items were handled, from what I’ve seen. And all this inconvenience just to be charged full price and have a $642 tab to pay, including my deposit. Definitely not worth $125 an hour. Big League never charged over $100/hour for two movers and they definitely were never late or ignored phone calls. Next time I’ll just wait on them, no matter how booked they are instead of giving someone new a try again.

Did the blunder of relying on reviews and hiring these guys for moving my household stuff. These guys are sloppy, rushed and unprofessional. Damaged walls during the move, damaged furniture , did not bring sufficient blanket to wrap the furniture. They promised to fix the damages right away, but 22 days completing the move, they are yet to respond, Tried calling them them multiple times, sent multiple emails , text message, but seems these guys are in deep sleep. No one responds. Spare yourself the pain and stay away from them, Edit- after writing this review , got a prompt reply and action from them. They came and fixed the damages done to walls and did touch up on the furniture. The response was quick and prompt. Thanks

My booking (local move) was confirmed and informed that the team will arrive between 12-1pm. However no one turned up and when I reached to the Manager who made reservation informed that there was a delay in the existing move and they were expected to be reaching around 2-3pm. But again no one turned up and they stopped answering my calls. It was frustrating as that was my last day for my move out and 404movers despite knowing this fact didn’t bother to provide me service. Later around 6pm, I get a call informing that the team are not going to make it and offered to refund. I was left with no option than moving myself. So make your own call if you need to go with this mover..

From start to finish, they exceeded my expectations and made the entire moving process a breeze. They worked diligently and seamlessly coordinated the entire move, making sure each item was carefully loaded and unloaded. Please please read these reviews. I urge you to look elsewhere. They lack communication, integrity and just overall business acumen. My brand new $700 Samsung TV was destroyed by these folks and the owner offered me a measly $26! I literally called every day for 2 weeks and was given the run around. The movers were nice (the supervisor was a little harsh to the other guy). If you don’t mind risking your items being damaged then by all means through your money in the air will going 70 on 285! Im sure there are other companies out there licensed and bonded, that are more truworthy.

The entire experience was great - from booking the move and all the details with the person on the phone, to the day of the move. But what stood out to me the most were the three gentlemen that actually did the move. They were extremely courteous, friendly and professional. They insured everything was wrapped securely and protectively and they were very careful especially with items that obviously needed to be handled with care. They worked so hard. I cannot say enough good things about these gentlemen and I hope this employer recognizes that and takes care of them accordingly.

This company is a complete joke! I definitely should’ve read all of these reviews before booking. Movers were supposed to arrive at 2 pm. I called over 10 times to see where they were. I heard nothing from the company until 48 mins later, only to say they can’t make it. The man hung up on me when I asked for my deposit back. Luckily I had my bank listening on another phone and received my money back. But I was left dry with no back up plan. I do not recommend you use this company, at all! It’s sad when you try to support your own “folks” but they turn out to be piss poor!

The communication was extremely poor. I was rescheduled twice at the last minute. When the movers arrived, they were on time and efficient. They unmounted my TV as well. When moving furniture into the new place my couch, walls, and doorframe were damaged as they tried to force and shove the couch through the doorway multiple times instead of letting me know it wouldn’t fit. I have not been able to get a response from the company in over a month regarding my damage claim. I would not recommend. Do not expect them to honor the insurance agreement if anything is damaged.

I made a reservation weeks ago for 3 guys to come at 1:30 today. It is now 5:00 and I have yet to receive a returned call and have called them 6 times this afternoon. They have hung up on me twice before I even got the chance to speak with anyone and now I have to call from a different number because they are not answering my calls from my phone at all. I have to be out of my house by tomorrow and am stressed out enough without having to deal with a moving issue!! They had no problem taking my $100 deposit that I have not yet gotten back!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!

The move started off rough bc I never got a call and after no truck arriving a hour after the scheduled time I had to call in twice to get the truck to my house. It was confusion with my phone number and the gate code to my subdivision. But I must say once Troy and his team mate arrived I felt that the money was well spent. They worked hard and efficient. I was moved in less than 2 hours with a 22 minute drove between the 2 houses. There was no extra charges or hidden fees. Appreciated the politeness of the workers and the fact that they wore mask.

I hate to give you a negative review because these guys are very nice but has absolutely no clue in professionalism when it comes to moving. They came with no moving supplies aside from one roll of wrapping plastic and tape which was hard to use because they’re weren’t packing tapes. Needless to say most of my furniture was damaged. I gave the guys mattresses covers and they turned the mattress with the open side to the floor and completely dirty my new mattresses. They ran out of plastic wrap and didn’t even have any bubble wrap.

At first, this place was awesome and super accommodating which I couldn’t appreciate enough. When the movers arrived, who were super friendly, there were only 2 men and I had been booked for 3. When I asked to wait for the 3rd man on recommendation of the crew, Mike argued that I HAD to start with the second man immediately. He became so upset that he canceled my move and refunded my deposit as I’m standing in my living room with my movers. Now here I am at 9:30 am, two days past my lease, with no movers! Would NOT recommend.

I hate to give a one star review but, unfortunately the movers did not show. I was booked for a 9am/10am move. Someone in the office called me at noon and asked did I still want the services and told me he saw I booked through the answering service. I just told him him no and that my brother and I had begin moving some things ourselves. No apology or explanation on why no one showed. I will say the guy who booked my appointment, I guess the answering service they spoke of, was very polite and enjoyable to speak with.

This was my 2nd move with 404Movers and they were amazing each time! Both times they were very good about communicating in advance, always answered the phone, always professional and detail oriented. On moving day, both times they were EARLY by 10 minutes, they were patiently waiting for me! The crew they sent out was knowledgeable, professional, careful and VERY hard working, never trying to milk the clock, they really were the best! I would honestly skip calling other people, I would just use them every time!

I wasn't pleased or impressed with 404 Movers at all. The price was absolutely ridiculous. They were there for about 30 minutes and charged for 2 hours. Just think there should have been a reasonable flat rate available. Then the Movers actually attempted to charge me more than I was quoted by the agent. Had to jump through hoops to get that cleared up. Then the guys left without reattaching the mirror to the dresser. This was a move that I was making for my mom, and I will never use them again!

I've used 404 movers 3 times now. I've always had a consistently great expreirences! The movers themselves are pleasant to talk with during the move and highly professional. They are fast and take great care of all my stuff. And the best thing is they are the best rates I've found. I shop around every time and they keep prevailing as the best. 404 Movers are the only moving company I have used in Atlanta. I was so happy with them four years ago I chose to use them again recently. Very professional, friendly and efficient. They wrapped all our furniture perfectly. Nothing was broken. New home has two steep flights of stairs that these men handled like a champ. Not a scratch on any wall or hardwoods. If/when I move again I won't even bother looking elsewhere. They are not overpriced and the quality of the job is impeccable.

Easy to schedule, showed up on time, the movers were polite and very efficient. I had a one bed apartment on the 3rd floor moving to another one bed apartment 3rd floor. They had a great system and I think finished within 2.5 hours. Make sure you read their instructions pre-move - you need to bag your mattress, box TVs yourself and upload a video of your items before moving day. They wrapped up my couch and a couple of other items very well for me. I was very happy with their work.

Do not waste your time or money with his company. Not only did they damage the walls of my brand new home but most importantly they completely damaged my garage door. I was promised a call back from the owner. He never called. This was the best moving experience I have ever had. The movers were on time and actually early. They were professional and quick. I had to move to 2 locations and they were done in no time. They were very helpful with things like taping boxes and even removing shelves from the wall for me. I would recommend them again and again and again. I had a fairly small move this time but would not hesitate to use them for a bigger move. The best thing was that the price was very reasonable and they did not try to extend the time and both movers were working. AWESOME I originally scheduled my move for July 2017. Circumstances changed out of my control with an issue for the builder and county to resolve. They diligently followed up regularly to reschedule. Finally, I contacted them to reschedule within 4 days and they were able to accommodate me with the time and with two pick up locations and the final drop off. 404Movers were very professional with they service.

I have used another service in the past and I have to continually look for the workers. Not with 404, The service was better than I expected. Excellent movers who were polite and hard working. They moved my large house in a timely manner and took great care. The managers however, are very sketchy and misleading about their services. Please ask upfront about the number of loads that they will do! They really need to work on their customer service, being that they are managers. It looks bad for the company. Workers were awesome!

The loading and unloading went extremely well despite the high heat and humidity. Troy and Mike were awesome on the delivery. Our condo is on the 4 th floor. With only one working elevator and having to park at least 100 feet from the lobby,, they never once complained. Your company was professional in all respects, and I’d use 404Movers again if there was ever a need.

I requested three guys. Due to traffic, they were an hour late and I still tipped them $150. That alone shows that I was still more than happy with their services.
