  • "A mixed bag from this company, paid a deposit for a van over the phone, after a couple of days Ian rang me and said that the van had a problem and as he was not going to be delivering it to Cornwall he wanted to supply me with an excellent van and this van in particular wasn't, so he refunded me my deposit, so I thought this was really decent, he had my confidence now, after a few days Ian sent me a picture of another van which had come in and he said it was a beauty, so I paid a deposit, I said to him that as he was delivering it to Cornwall make sure that it had no faults, he showed me a receipt of recently carried out work, which included new tyres, a breaks overhaul, 712 put a new mot and repaired a dent, the van was delivered by Ian, he said that the van drove excellent and the trip down was perfect, he did say did I want to have a drive but I hadn't insurance yet so I took his word that the van was good, I took him to the train station and returned home, now that's where it started to go wrong, the drivers door would not work, I had to get in through the passenger side, eventually I started the van, the van was difficult to get into 1st and 2nd gear and was smoking , so I rang them within an hour to say to come back and collect it as I was rejecting it as it was not fit for purpose, Peter said that he would fix all the issues, so I had my garage come and collect it at my expense and carry out a full inspection, this is where it gets bad, one tyre was 8 years old with side wall cracks and a nail in it, the breaks were rusty, the break pipes were corroded and leaking fluid, the gearbox had a problem, suspected injector problem, faulty door lock, the van should have never passed the new mot that they had had done"

    "I’m having a very bad experience with this company, I agreed to buy a van from them and they would take my mini in part exchange, this deal was all set up over the phone and online so I never looked the van over and they never looked at my car, I paid £3600 for the van and it was delivered to my work place and my mini was picked up at that time, When I was able to check the van over there was a yellow warning ⚠️ light on, on the dashboard and although the van was washed and cleaned on the outside the inside was absolutely disgusting, I had to remove the seats and the plastic trim to get it cleaned properly, then a few days later another flashing light came on and when I arrived at work the van cut out and will not start again, I phoned the garage on the Monday and was told that they would get it all sorted out and get back to me, on the Tuesday and still no word so I phoned and spoke to someone and was told that there was nobody available to help me just now but that someone would call me back, but again no call back again, so another call on the Wednesday and when I spoke to this guy and told him about the situation he replied that I must have let the frost into the engine, then he said that he found a problem with my mini, ( the mini that I had just had a full service and MOT three weeks previous to trading it in ) and the same mini that he had advertised on his website straight away on the day he collected it, So the last conversation I had was that one on the Wednesday and I have not received any response from them, So I know have a van that I have had to pay to get collected from my work and delivered to my local garage who have since taken the cylinder head off and need to get something done to it, I have spoke with a solicitor and he has agreed to help me pursue this through the legal process, Updates to follow"

I sent them a copy of the report and they were really confused, they could not have checked this van, I asked them to come collect it and refund me, they agreed, but due to Christmas they couldn't collect until the new year, eventually after many messages where they tried to get me to drive the van to Bristol to meet them, which I refused due to the van having defects, Ian sorted a company to come collect only after I agreed to pay half the transportation back to Leeds, which was bloody cheeky but I just wanted it sorted, I am £250 out of pocket £195 for transport and £55 for inspection by my garage. It took 8 days from when the van was delivered back to them for me to get my refund, in the meantime the van was back on their website for sale!! Overall not a good experience, they did refund me which I am grateful. But I would not recommend this company. This is a response to your response, How am I today, actually I have toothache, which is a bit like dealing with you, Painful!! Would you like me to post up the pictures and the full garage report that I had done on this van? You're reviews here are terrible, don't make me out to be a liar, I gave you a fair review which could have been much worse.

5 months ago, I purchased a van from here, sales process went very smoothly, van is decent........ however, throughout the purchase process there was no mention of a missing V5..... I only discovered this after travelling down by bus from Scotland.... was given a V62, but DVLA took 7 weeks to process new V5, meaning g I couldn't drive my van, meaning I earned no money for 7 weeks. Found Peter very unsympathetic to this despite my constant contact...when I mentioned things about the van, I was simply ignored..... I am still waiting for my receipt, despite several missed deadlines given by Peter. I was also promised a full tank of diesel for my drive back to Scotland, but was instead given directions to Sainsbury's as the tank was empty. I wasn't going to leave a review, but the costs incurred by me for things not disclosed has really grated on me. I certainly don't trust a business which fails to disclose all info and refuses to give receipts

Do not buy from from this garage if you want a decent van shop elsewhere, Bought the van online arranged to meet to pick up. No V5 no radio, said the radio needed a fuse that it worked before, he said he would pay for any repair that the radio needed. took his word paid the full amount took me 3 weeks to get the van taxed Checked all fuses they were perfect, paid for an auto electrician to check the radio out and it turns out the radio that they put in my van was from an older model not compatible the wires in my van were totally different from the unit that he put in. Called them every week to no avail. I think they just block your number after the sale after some research and £424.44 later I had a compatible radio that worked. Also the front heated seats were taken out the van and fitted with standard seats with no heating. If your looking for an honest van company don’t look here Peter’s a conman and will leave you out of pocket

Bought a van from them and when I picked it up they gave me a v62 form to tax the van. Got home went to tax van and I couldn't, phoned dvla only to be told I need to sorn van approx 6 weeks for the proper paperwork to be done. I contacted the garage and spoke to Peter and he agreed to compensate me and come to a agreement of a payment to cover me while the van was of the road . After a few weeks of calling and emailing the refused to pay and now they won't answer my calls , shocking attitude. 7 weeks it took for me to get van on the road . If I new from the start that they would not pay I would have gave them the van back . I should have read there reviews before purchasing, my mistake there , AVOID AT ALL COST

I would most definitely avoid this place. I part exchanged my van for 1 of theirs & was left in a Services with a van I couldn't roadtax so had to drive home illegally. Within an hr I tried calling to say I wasn't happy & wanted to swap back. 1st they wouldn't reply then they were anything but polite. It took more than 6 weeks & a solicitor to get them to take the van back. They are complete cowboys. Avoid this company. To avoid heartbreak & stress. My worst ever experience.

Avoid this garage at all cost......Car was delivered and I noticed some marks on the door....And was told it was polish residue...Its wasn't and there are scratches on the door....No advisories were done on the MOT as asked...Brake lines etc. I have NO confidence in the car and I'm in the process of starting legal proceedings.... one of guys started shouting down the phone..Again avoid these guys at all cost.....Horrible liars. . DO NOT BUY ANY VEHICLE FROM THESE CHANCERS

I bought a car having only viewed it online, having travelled a long way to collect it, I found a couple of issues. Returning it would have been a real problem, so I called and was asked to get it looked at, at my local garage when I got home, that's what I did and the fault wasn't a cheap fix. However I sent the quote and money was transferred and problem sorted within a week. Very helpful and really couldn't ask for more. Thanks chaps.

A wonderful service from Sammy and Peter. Was interested in a car but total novice not knowing what would be best for me. They spent time and were patient and I was understand no pressure. I loved the mini but apprehensive, they gave me the space and time to consider and in the end I made the leap. Totally satisfied and happy with my purchase. After buying a van a month ago, it had a few issues. After a painful few phone calls. They agreed to rectify. After taking it, it came back 24 hours later, not fixed, no fuel and 150 mikes on the clock. Asked for a refund under the consumer act 2015. He laughed and take us to court. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. If you do see a vehice Check EVERYTHING and get EVERYTHING in writing.

Shocking dealership. Bought a van from here and had nothing but problems and all I got was excuses and telling me it’s all common faults. When I collected the van he broke parts on it and never reimbursed or sent the parts to me. 100% no one should buy anything from here. You can ring all you like but they will never answer the phone to you once it’s sold.

Wouldn't even give this place a 1 star!! Avoid at all costs. Selling vans that aren't fit for purpose!! So i went through a charge back/section 75 then when you try get your vehicle back tries to charge you 1k+ for storage fees plus the vehicle that was in storage had managed to clocked up 785 miles!!! & stank of smoke!!

Absolutely pathetic garage , false advertisement! Once you buy the car they won’t reply to you , sent many messages and tried calling but they just ignore you! Been waiting for spare key for around 10 weeks now , still no log book! Should’ve listened to the reviews! No wonder their rating is shocking!

Bought a mini from these guys, absolute stunner of a car. I love it! Nothing was too much trouble for them and they couldn't have been anymore helpful. I would definitely highly recommend them for a used car and when I want my next car I will look in on Peter and Becky! Keep up the good work!!

Watch out for this place. The warranty they sell you means nothing. If your vehicle has a problem they will do everything they can to get out of covering it.
