I went in to pawn my headset a couple weeks ago. The clerk at the counter was very friendly. She was professional. She carefully examined my headset. And she asked me how much I wanted to borrow for it. She agreed to $80. When I saw my slip, I noticed that if I pay one week before the deadline, I get a good discount. So I waited till a week before the deadline. I paid early, and they were true to their word, and honoured the discount. I was pleasantly surprised. They said that are very few pawnshops offering this deal. On a different note, I was looking for a bit driver holder to help me hold screws that are not magnetic. Low and behold, the owner found exactly what I wanted. Even though I had no idea what the thing was called. He listen to my description and within Moments he found it. He gave me a deal on it as well and I was happy. I have experienced a few pawnshops in my lifetime and most of the time the experience was not good. I find that this pawnshop is fair in dealing with evaluating how much you were able to pawn for something you bring in. The store itself is quite crowded, not in people, but is crowded in merchandise. If you’re looking for something really obscure, chances are you may find it. So on several occasions A1 Pawn is my “go to” place to find things I do not find anywhere else. It is well worth the visit.

These are the kinda people you wanna deal with anytime of year round. They are always good with advice and with honest first handed experience they do not judge and are very friendly whenever I go in there. The main man allways has a good bargaining attitude. For example like you buy this,I'll throw in a little drill bit or give you this bundle for this heal of a price.etc. Prices are fair, affordable and the staff is allways friendly, I love going there!!! When I pass by I stop just because I like his company and small talk. These are the kinda people you enjoy seeing, when they say hi to you in the store. Thanks a bunch for such great customer service and such a great local business. Keep it up!

Had a great experience. Saw ad on fb, & decided to go hunting for some nostalgic gaming tech. Had a decent stock of DS’s, & various retro game consoles. I was actually a little surprised with the selection, based on other shops I’ve been to. The guy was nice, & gave me a pretty decent deal. Definitely didn’t feel ripped off like even some secondhand gaming stores. If you’re on the hunt for various retro/nostalgia tech, this is a pretty decent place to stop in & check out

A1 helped me when I had to pawn my laptop in order to pay Bills and feed my kids. It took me some time to get my affairs in order and A1 was extremely flexible, they helped me keep my stuff, pay it off and I would absolutely go back. Very solid people, very good people... not to mention all of the things they have to buy in the store, at extremely decent prices. 5 stars!

Great experience over all. Sold a few tech items and they gave me fair and honest price! The atmosphere upon walking in is chill and a throwback through the ages with all the interesting items in stock. The employees and owner are good people at first interaction and I will definitely be going back there in the future …

I met Chris at his business today and even though I wasn't able to purchase anything from him, he was curtious with me and we talked about maybe doing business in the future. He understands the business and I have no doubt that if I ever required his service, that it would be seemless and I would feel comfortable.

I saw an ad on fb market place. The response time and the attention to detail in shipping out my product was amazing. Seriously one of the best online purchases I’ve made. Definitely will pop into the store to see the place in person next time I’m up in Edmonton.

Great place to pawn and shop. New ownership has renovated the place, and now its much easier to find what youre looking for. Plus pawns are %20 if you can make it back in the first week! The staff is willing to work with you on prices and your pawns if needed.

Today was 1st purchase here. Certainly will be back again. Friendly staff & decent prices. Went through our reno budget & more. Not wanting to buy new heat gun for 2 smaller project that will likely never be used again. Heat gun works great

would not recommend this place as they tried to rip us off in a pawn just because i sent my gf and they knew she didnt know much about tech. they try to take advantage and there prices are outrages as they sell there items based on top ebay adds

Treated with total respect always great hours very freindy guys at the counter. Can't say enough about thier fine treatment towards me I have great respect for thease guys really thier good people.

The new renovations and management are completely worth checking out. Extremely fair and friendly staff with a huge variety of merchandise makes it the only pawn shop I will do business with.

It's a dive do not waste your time. It was under new management at the time so don't fall for it the one guy was so rude to me and wasted both mine and his time!

Scammer! they try to sell stuff that they don't even have online to bring you to there store and sell you damaged stuff.
