I love the cloths in this store but the customer service is often lacking. I have been a loyal Akira customer since 2007. I have worked in sales for years and I currently train sales professionals for a large corporation. First impressions matter, people never forget how you make them feel. I was actively shopping and no one asked if they could assist me. There were other customers who were greeted and did get assistance. Maybe the business model has moved away from personal shopping like it was in the past but for a fully staffed store I would have expected at least a hello can we help you. I may not look like your typical customer but what I have learned from experience is your can never tell who has deep pockets financially. I debated on whether to post this or not but you can miss out on big sales by not offering to help everyone. If I was the store manager or district manager I would want this feedback.

Sir, YES SIR. That’s what the employee named Sir had me saying after every recommendation. Thank you for your contribution to our country, you deserve honorary veteran status after the work you did for me and my girlfriend. Literally felt like I had a personal assistant that not only helped us but even other customers at the same time. Sir wasn’t the only pleasant surprise, every employee was ready to help, give opinions, save the world. If the Earth becomes inhabitable, I’m opting to take this whole Akira store with all the employees to go to Mars first. Quite literally other worldly customer service. Highly recommended this store!!

Akira has typically been my go-to spot for last minute fashions, but my recent visit at this location was less than pleasant. The associate with the butt-length faux locs constantly harassed me throughout my visit to the point that I decided not to purchase anything. I've never had this experience before with any Akira location. This chic was beyond extra and definitely changed my views on shopping here. I don't know if it was my big, natural coiff that caused her to improperly judge me, but if she hadn't ruined the sell, she would have seen that I was a frequent shopper. I won't be returning.

Left 5 stars a year ago and leaving 5 stars again because the associates are ‍ Went last minute shopping for a cruise, and Sir and Andrew helped me find a dress better than what I could envision. Then I saw the same dress in white, and Nikaika (sp?) and an associate with an A name (sorry!) helped me decide on the perfect dress for a future proposal ☺️ There’s a reason why I shop at Akira for all special occasions. I hope the employees are valued!

I had the best experience here this evening. I was very last minute shopping for a formal dress to wear to a wedding tomorrow and the associates were SO helpful. Went above and beyond to help me find something. I wish I remember the name of the person I worked with because they were so great. Would definitely recommend this location!!

All the staff were professional, friendly and very helpful. Very positive shopping experience. Fun and interesting selection of clothing and accessories. Great sale items!! Staff were so helpful finding sizes and having suggestions. 5 star service and shopping experience.

Besides the fact that I walked into my dream store and went To heaven. Everyone was soooo nice to me and Ikaika helped me while I was shopping. I had the nicest lady help me check out! If You like unusual clothing this is the place! They also have an online store

Staff was so cheerful and helpful! Shoutout to Rebecca, who was so patient and helpful when I couldn't figure out what I wanted to wear. I wound up not getting anything, but I'll be more than happy to go back to that Akira next time!

Where was this store when I was in my 20’s!?! Such fun clothes. Such weird clothes and all reasonably priced with a staff eager to help and find more things for you. I love this place.

I love this store so much!!! As soon as I walked in I got a personal stylist, Icey! She is so awesome and helped me pick out the most beautiful dresses! Great experience here.
