Not sure of the name/title of the person who greeted me was but he could use some training on customer service (tall, thin white male). When I entered the door, he approached me after a few minutes. I told him i needed to have my phone charger replaced because it wouldn’t stay connected to my phone. He said he could print a receipt for me and i would need to contact the maker because the store was out of that type of charger. All other reps were with customers. I waited about 30 minutes. In the meantime, this person who greeted me walked around the store, out the door (right past me), was on his phone, walked back in to the store, went to the back, came out, back out the door, etc. the entire time I was standing there. Had to walk out the door at least 7 times, pacing back and forth, in and out, all around. I looked at the chargers in the store and there were about 3 of the chargers I needed on display — exactly like the one I brought in. So they were NOT out of the product. The rep who eventually helped me had not been in the store while I was waiting (perhaps he just returned from break/lunch). He said the guy who was pacing back and forth told him I needed a receipt. I told him “no, i would like to exchange this charger for the new one I had in my hand”. He was very gracious and complied and i was done in 10 minutes. Why couldn’t the first guy have helped me? Especially if he thought I only needed a receipt printed? He did nothing else but walk in and out of the store. At one point, the phone rang about 40 times and he came from the outside to pick it up. Horrible service from him. Again, the young man who eventually helped was superb.

*****Updating this review on 12/2/2020 to one star from five, as I spoke too soon below. Yes, at the time, our experience in the store seemed positive. However, two months later, the less expensive/better plan is costing me at least $100 per month more than what I was previously paying. James, the store representative, left one of our lines on the old plan while moving just five of our lines to this new plan. So we were paying for two separate data plans, not just one plan for the whole household. Our military discount, which was added during our visit, was removed by AT&T the following month since it’s my daughter who is in the military, not me, the primary account holder. When the plan was changed over, my employer rate was removed. Also my auto pay was deleted, as well as the autopay/paperless discount. (Of course they want paperless billing so you won’t bother to look at the endless lines of confusion on the bill). I’ve now been on the phone with three people for over 2 1/2 hours trying to correct what was done. For the $540 per month I pay for a family of four, I would have expected better than this. I will seriously be considering Verizon or another provider before buying my next phone. Write down everything they tell you in the store. *****(Original review 10/10/2020) Had a great experience with James this afternoon! Came in to pick up a new phone. With all of the options and variables, he made it very easy to understand. He also suggested a few options that increased our available data while providing some money savings options.

I went to this store in Westport in KCMO in January and was "helped" by an attendant named Aerica Sonniker (sp?) She called AT&T's port line on speaker and we both were put on hold. 5 minutes into the 'hold' Aerica told me she would "be right back." I found out 20 minutes later after having another attendant overhear me saying "she said she would be right back" and came over to help me AND the customer he had been initially helping at the same time. One attendant informed me that he saw Aerica leaving the store for the night and asked her about the customer waiting on hold in the store. She waved it off and said, "She's on hold, though." She never told me she was leaving; she told me she'd "be right back." A few of the attendants there said she does this often. Thank you Chris Walker!! (I think that's the name of the attendant who helped me and his customer. I will still be leaving AT&T. I haven't even been an AT&T customer for a year yet and my number didn't work for the first 3 months, my "brand new" phone froze entirely for 36 hrs, and my bill has NEVER been what was initially promised; in fact, I pay approximately $30 more per month than I initially signed on for now 10 months with this provider. There's a reason why John Oliver and others make it the butt of many jokes. Spare yourself the drama and stress and choose any other provider. If you choose AT&T and go to the Westport location in KCMO, ask for Chris; he's a real one

I went in to ask about a promotion to trade in any galaxy in any condition, knowing I had a shattered S2 from high school back at my parents house. I walked out with an S22 ultra en route to my house and saving my family $40 a month while getting a better unlimited plan, with phone protection on everyone’s devices, and I didn’t even have to turn in my old galaxy that day, my family 300 miles away could turn it in for me at their convenience. Huge thanks to Josh the manager that helped me, dude was just there to be the homie, my family appreciates the $500/yr you saved us! Other side note, there was a homeless lady that walked in and sat in the middle of the room, and I believe she was quietly weeping there? Hard to tell she was talking to herself and breathing weird, I couldn’t tell what was happening. Josh didn’t seem alarmed, turns out she couldn’t figure out how to turn off the flashlight on her phone. Josh was super pleasant with her, she just walked up to us after a couple of minutes, he kindly helped her to turn her flashlight and bid her a good day, saying he’ll see her next time. It was super genuine and made me smile, could tell he’s a good dude, props to you Josh, keep up the good work.

I think the most important thing in any relationship is integrity. Recently a friend wanted to add me to his AT&T plan so we stopped by the AT&T store where we met Araceli. Not only was she kind and friendly, she was knowledgeable about the phones and services offered. She was able to find a phone that fit my budget and do a quick review for services that AT&T has that might benefit my friend at his multiple properties in the area. Within just a few days I dropped the phone and destroyed it. We went back to the store only to find the insurance we asked for was not shown in the system. Araceli went to her management and stood up for her customer and let them know that we had purchased insurance and that it had just not registered in their system. It happens... LOL! Working with Trevor and Josh we were able to find a temporary work around and I am back up and running! I looked around while I was waiting. It warmed my heart to these fine young people helping people my age with what many times seems like an unsolvable mystery; how to work these gadgets!! If you want to find great phones and services stop by the AT&T store on Mill Street. Ask for Araceli, Richard, Trevor or Josh. You won't be disappointed!

We came into this store extremely frustrated with AT&T, and ready to switch our service to another carrier after 5 weeks of fighting with AT&T over a billing error, service interruption, 5 cases that had been filed through AT&T’s Customer Loyalty Department, and numerous days lost to going into AT&T stores to resolve our issues in CO, and NYC. We were ready to go through arbitration with this carrier out of complete frustration! We came to this store expecting more of the same with little hope of getting our issues taken care of. We were greeted by Antoine, who patiently listened to all of our issues and experiences. He brought in Josh (store manager) to assist. Antoine and Josh were amazing, and were able to figure out how to get an Apple Watch working that no one else had been able to connect for cellular use, got our plan straightened out, and lowered the monthly payment by a significant amount. I would HIGHLY recommend this store and Antoine and Josh! This is the best store that I have encountered in 3 states!!

I wanted to change my phone service and also upgrade my iPhone so I decided to go to AT@T in Westport. Once I arrived one of the managers greeted me and took my information and stated that someone would be right with me and the wait was not long at all. Mr. Devin assisted me with changing my phone service and the purchase of a new IPhone and phone case. I can definitely say that Devin was not only professional but also very nice and patient with me and answered all the questions I had and also provided me with information about my phone service and answered any additional questions that I had and also made sure that my new IPhone was working properly before I left the store. I can definitely say this was by far the best customer service I’ve received in a very long time. I will definitely be referring my Friends and Family to AT&T for phone service. Everyone there was so nice . Thank you Devin for helping someone like myself who isn’t very technology savvy.

The individual whom help me was really new. So when I switched my service from unlimited $70 a month to 5g $30 a month he did not activate the plan. The other guy who was experienced walk to other side of the store to talk with other workers standing around so the new guy he had no guide or teacher. And I got poor service because of the guy training him felt hanging out with fellow workers was more important than thoroughly training somebody new. So my phone didn't get activated for about 5 to 6 hours after that and I missed two job opportunities because of that. I had to call 611 to get it activated. So I don't like doing after I drive to the store to pay cash. But you can't blame the new guy he tried he just didn't know. Maybe inform your managers that they should stick around and make sure that the trainees know everything before they just cut them loose and go hang out at the water cooler and chat with their friends.

What a wonderful in store experience!!!! After reading some of these reviews, I was ready for a fight. My rep was Mr. Mike, and he was excellent. Some people are natural born communicators, and he definitely is one. He was so courteous, friendly and knew his job. What a pleasant surprise, and a breath of fresh air!!! He made sure I was comfortable with my new purchase, and how it was suppose to work. He didn't come off as arrogrant, and disrespectful, when I kept asking the same questions. Because the store is so busy, I suggest making an appointment, instead of just walking in. The sign of a person who really likes his job, he gave me his business card, with all of his work information, in case I stil needed help. God bless you, and thanks Mr. Mike, for going above and beyond your JOB!!!

I visited this location a couple weeks ago. I walked in and was immediately greeted by Devin. He asked what brought me to AT&T. I explained that I had lost my phone and that I needed to get a new one. Devin guided me through everything and made the whole process easy and such a breeze. Not only did Devin help me get my new phone he also helped me pick out the accessories I wanted. He then proceeded to help me put the screen protector on my phone(we all know what a hassle that is). Another employee that was equally as helpful was Josh. He was super friendly and helpful. He also made sure I was completely satisfied with the product and my experience. I will definitely be going back to this location for all of my phone needs and wants. Thanks Devin and Josh for the awesome experience!!

If there’s any retail store that deserves a “5-STAR” Rating, it’s this AT&T Store in Kansas City. I was from out of town and my phone unfortunately malfunctioned. I had to replace it with a brand new one and thank goodness to my Warranty, I got it for FREE! After this AWESOME STORE received my brand new phone by FedEx, the Assistant Manager, John went out of his way on his day off to pick it up from his AT&T Store and sent the brand new phone OVERNIGHT to my address up north, PAYING IT OUT OF HIS OWN POCKET! That right there, IS EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE! I’m SO GRATEFUL to ethical and professional establishments such as this AT&T Store. The staff here is PROFESSIONAL and REALLY CARES about their customers! I’m “Proof”! Thank you, AT&T!

I went with my buddy to help him get his phone upgraded here. Being elderly, he isn't the most tech savvy so I went along to help him make a choice and make sure he was treated fair. We got there about an hour before close and were greeted by Sean R. This guy is a rock star! He helped explain the phones and helped us get one that would meet my buddy's needs and not just trying to sell him a bunch of bells and whistles. Sean R. made sure eligible discounts were applied and helped us with every step to make the transfer to the new phone smooth, even though it took past normal hours to do so. He was gracious about all of it! Sean R., I can't thank you enough for the great service you provided my friend. Thanks Again!

Terrible service! I walked in and they were hanging out on their personal phones. They offered me help then ignored the fact that I told them I had already talked to their customer service over the phone three times already, they had informed me to go in and just get a new SIM card in store so it could be set up. He proceeded to call them and tell them everything I already had this morning and started asking me the same questions I had already answered this morning. What's the point of being in the store if you are just gonna call customer service the same way I already have. They don't care to listen or pay attention. They are more worried about playing with their own phones.

i would like to thank the assistant store manager Trevor Teegarden for his assistance , he came to our rescue and set up the On Demand system since we switched from U Verse TV. He was very knowledgeable and took the time to go through all the system with us and explained how to set up all our favorite channels and how to use the speaker etc. He was extremely friendly and patient. We have had the best experience with him than any other ATT employee and much easier to deal with than the store where we purchased our boxes. Wow, I actually cannot believe how incompetent the staff here was. I can't even bring myself to write any more. Like, any more thought given to this group is a waste of time. All I can say is, they were apathetic, incompetent, and didn't bother to help or troubleshoot. I know the storefront says ATT, but it might have well been snake oil. PS: one of the reps said he knew how to pronounce my last name because he spoke my language. No, he knows how to pronounce it because he tried (and couldn't) to help my wife the other day, who came in with the same issues. Good grief, both mine and my wife's experience were so laughably bad we switched providers.

Just a shout out to Jen, the manager, about the great service I received at her store. They handled a problem I had encountered at Zona Rosa quickly and efficiently. They were very pleasant throughout the process. I do not recall the name of the young man who assisted me with my new phone, but he went out of his way to ensure that everything was perfect prior to my leaving the store. When I asked about transferring the data from iCloud to my new phone, he merely said, "Of course!" indicating that he considered it part of the service. Again, thanks to Jen and her staff, for a pleasant experience.

I had a huge mess on my hands and both James and Zack were super helpful. I had to add two lines from different carriers, and not only did Zack help me to unlock both of them (which is already a nightmare), but I was able to bundle all three lines, get unlimited data, AND bundle internet service and save a decent amount of money from what was being paid before from the different carriers. I had to come in multiple times to organize all of these changes, and Zack never seemed in a rush or bothered by any of my issues. Super professional and also easy to talk to. Great bunch of guys at this store.

I dropped my phone and shattered the screen making it unusable. I went to this location trying to get a new phone quickly on my lunch break. Everyone in the store greeted me right away and John M. helped me purchase a new phone and set it up. He stuck with me to help me transfer my data from my nearly unusable phone to my new phone, which I'm sure was a pain but he stayed kind and chatted with me as we tried to make it work. He went above and beyond to help me and by the time I left I had a new phone, a new case, a new screen protector, and all the data from my old phone. Highly recommend.

As we entered the store, there was a gentlemen sprinting from the front door who had just stolen a phone....that set the tone for the visit. Once we were seated for our appointment extremely loud vacuums were running and we could hardly hear our sales associate. Our appointment took over an hour and the issue that we hoped to resolve was incorrectly handled. Additionally, there was a sign by the front door that said "All airpods 10% off". Despite the literal sign, the manager denied the discount and slinked from the back room to remove the sign while were still seated.

My husband and I both purchased phones yesterday from this store -- what a great experience! Maria Rodriguez was delightful from the minute I met her. She was so professional but very personable and very knowledgable. She helped us purchase the phones, transfer the data, buy new cases, etc. and explained all of the costs involved. My husband had a hard time syncing his watch with his phone so he went back today and she helped him effortlessly and patiently. I highly recommend this location (and Maria) -- a much better experience than I have had with other locations!

I felt welcome even before walking in the store. The greeter held the door for me and got me checked in. They were busy, but I recieved help within moments. Steve was the one to help me. I really appreciated his professionalism, and I felt he was incredibly knowledgeable. He helped me troubleshoot a problem I didn't even realize I had. If I can't get my problem fixed with Apple, I'll definitely be going back to this AT&T to get my new phone from them. Each of the employees seemed genuinely happy and I'd be happy to receive service from any of them.

Although a lengthy process, the exceptional customer service exceeded my expectations and compensated for the time it took to complete my requests. Rich was very easy going and exhibited patience while interacting with me. Shout out to the store manager, Bryant, who went above and beyond to make sure that I was taken care of during my visit. Everyone was greeted or acknowledged upon entry and there was not a single person who went unnoticed. This is an amazing crew who makes an awesome team - I highly recommend this location!

I went here having seen the previous reviews. I did wait about 30 minutes and at least 2 people walked out that had come in after me. I came in a few minutes after 10 and they were already busy. They are aware of their reviews and appear to be making an effort to correct them. All the people I talked to were pleasant and courteous. The girl that helped me had no problem solving my issue and took only a few minutes once she started working on it. I would go back there as long as the service stays the way it was today.

She also reviewed my account to make sure I was utilized all available resources and best rate possible. I have been with ATT SINCE 1989. (When it was Cingular). I really appreciate Maria and the Manager of this location. Intelligent regarding products and services and greeting everyone and making them at home. Thanks for helping me!

WHERE DO I START? They seen my face 3x in a week they are my phone family now! Its a very warm feeling coming in here. Starting off with the Manager Bryant the way he welcomed my family and I in (including my toddler) lol we were here for a while but was very comfortable he has a great motto for life and i respect that, his team was a big help as well especially Rich and Devin. When i went into At&t i was going in to start my own account/contract as well trade in my old phone for the new iphone, James was absolutely the best representative i’ve ever worked with. He was very patient and very understanding with everything, was very friendly and was willing to help with anything he could. I've never had such a great and smooth experience anywhere else like I have here. The moment I walked in , I was welcomed and greeted by a team that made every conversation feel genuine. Store was busy but I yet still had no wait. Answered all my questions concerns and much more. Most importantly, I got covered and save a TON of money. I visited the AT&T store today, and was lucky to get Sean Riggs. He is the best Retail Sales Consultant in the World. He made me fill So welcome! He has got to be the most patient person Ever!! They used to have great informative customer service. I went in on 12/20/15 to upgrade and they could not or would not give me an actual price for a new phone. Circle talking at it's finest. When did AT&T wireless service become a used car lot--complete with scamming techniques. I would not recommend unless you want to get taken or you enjoy being completely frustrated by their lack of information and knowledge.

Aaron at the at&t store located in Westport, Kansas City is incredible. He was so patient with my husband, getting him set up on his new iPhone!! That was a huge undertaking and Aaron was extremely professional, knowledgeable and helpful. Thank you for all your help!! I would definitely recommend heading to the Mill Street Station AT & T if you need help. Make an appointment!! They took us right away!!

horrible service and extremely slow. wasn’t greeted and ignored the whole time. waited for half an hour while the woman with an AirPod in her ear chatted away instead of helping others causing them to walk out before me. After finishing her chat, she went to groups that came in way after us, people who she had told that there were others in front of them prior to checking them in before us.

Upgraded 2 phones & ported in one line. Had to order both phones and both are slated to come in in less than a week. Can do remainder of activation and transfer from home. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff, explained everything and answered all questions. Very quick service considering the amount of stuff in the transaction. Would recommend for AT&T needs in KC.

I went into the AT&T store, I had done something with my settings and wasn't able to receive calls. I was greeted and welcomed in. Richard was knowledgeable, professional and was able to unlock the call feature on my phone. Other stores had tried and not succeeded. So thankful for the amazing customer service and his expertise. This is an amazing store. I went in fully prepared to buy a new phone because I thought mine was broken, but the representative, Charles, cleaned out my charging port and told me I didn’t need anything new. Him and his boss were amazing and didn’t try to force a sale but were concerned about providing the best service. Can’t recommend this store enough.

Adam is an amazing manager and is always able to answer questions for you. Jen is sweet and pretty awesome. Kira is always smiling. James is a goofball but he's awesome. Basically this store is amazing and willing to help you with all your needs. I live an hour away and I'll drive to this location just to work with all these guys.

Jordan helped us with our phones today. She was incredibly helpful and very kind! It was the best experience that we have ever had at a phone store ever!!! She deserves a raise!! I went to the Apple store to upgrade my iPhone. They weren’t able to give me a new phone until December 15. I came to AT&T , waited no time for service, and will be receiving a phone in 4-5 days. They did not waste my time or try to get me to buy a replacement phone. I will be coming here for all my future iPhone upgrades!

Michael was very friendly way above average most people the store arent as friendly as he is. He is definitely the type of guy that would make the refer my friends to this store. He also resolved by issue within less than one minutes. When I called six one one for tech support for the same issue they could not resolve it.

First of all I would like to give a big thanks to Lidia and Araceli. They both took the time to help me with a complicated situation. And everything they said was true unlike T-Mobile who literally charged me $130 a month for a single line. Good-bye T-Mobile hello at&t. I am so happy I changed my provider.

When I called that number, the person I spoke to confirmed that the employees in the stores only care about sales and if your not there to buy something they don't care.

My issue was resolved, and I was extremely happy with the service received. 99% better service than when I visited the location in Zona Rosa a few weeks back.

Trying to close out a deceased relatives account and was directed to this store. I was told they didn't need to do anything, account was already closed. Months and many calls to customer service later and the issue is still not resolved because this store did not "notate" the account correctly.

Aerica S was the best! She helped us get 4 lines transferred including the extra time needed to fix our (bring your own phones) settings to get the data portion of the phone working. I was so happy to have her help me get set up on their network with my personal phones. Thanks Again Aerica!
