I visited the absolute pet store in Cavendish earlier today 18.12.2019 I always purchase from this store because of the friendly staff, however since the older staff left, I came across fairly new employees... nevertheless, I made a purchase of 2 x 3KG Iams cat food and I had two Iams vouchers that I received. The consultant by the name of Ann wasn't very pleasant, firstly she did not know how to add the vouchers onto the system, of which she asked another lady for assistance and she didnt know either. The store was extremely busy, so I let Ann assist another gentleman in the same interim I emailed my Iams vouchers to the Cavendish absolute pet email. She kept saying it wasn't working and getting very annoyed with me, also she had clients queing to pay... I then said ok let me email the vouchers again. I then said to Ann, click on your refresh button on your computer, she said it's not working, nothing is coming through. I was getting irrated as she kept repeating herself and not trying to come to a solution. I find my shopping experience this time around very upsetting, as the consultant did not make me feel very pleasant. I never had this problem before, it was always a breeze trying to process these Iams vouchers. I always try to come back to this store and I drove all the way from Greenpoint to the absolute store in Cavendish, and to receive this level of treatment... I'm disappointed and very upset.

The service is so good here! Every time I've been they've helped me find exactly what a needed, despite a lot of different specifications. They also have a great points system where you can eventually get discounts. Lots of variety, they stock lots of different bands here.

Terrible service. I bought the house brand of dog food that turned out to be mouldy and despite the shop assistant acknowledging that they had had a problem and me presenting a sample of my bag showing the mould on the food, the manager still refused to replace the bag.

My go to place to buy food and other pet supplies for my two cats. The staff are always so friendly and regularly ask how my cats are. I find it quite sweet that they care. They stock most major food brands. They also stock some great toys and medicine.

Cashier not very clued up on their products and shops not well stocked online I was referred to them for bottle tiets for kittens went there after work and they had absolutely nothing cashier didnt even know what I was looking for when I asked her

I can't accurately rate this shore, because they won't even pick up the telephone to help with my query. I am however, feeling sorely disappointed in this matter and will thus not recommend them to anyone.

Pretty good service. Honest recommendations on products and good products too. Staff recommended I buy a larger bag of product to save money in the long run, thanks guys.

The staff are friendly and helpful and the shop is conveniently located. I find it best to call ahead as they don't always have stock of my preferred brand of dogfiood.
