Kay Bailey Hutchinson Patrol Staff 6/18/22. The crosswalk patrol and police officers are highly disrespectful. The traffic is already a mad house but the officers do not make it any easier. The crosswalk patrol will misguide folks out of line because they do not pay attention to the questions people are asking regarding parking or directions into the facility. When you have to re-enter the line your backed up by at least 20-25 minutes or more which could have easily been avoided if the cross walk patrol were paying attention and less focused on treating people as if they are all there with the intention to make the officers jobs more difficult. (Some people have to go to work too). The patrol officers are verbally abusive and when trying to diffuse the situation, they are unwilling to accept it and continue to fuel an issue. They all seem to want to fight and are seeking an opportunity to take their life's worth of aggression out onto innocent people. I've witnessed violence from people waiting in line to park, getting out of their vehicles to assault others just because they are inpatient or think someone cut them off. The police officers are more concerned with creating problems and then trying to punish or reprimand people in petty/unnecessary ways that end up holding up traffic and fueling bigger problems by not focusing on actual dangers. The focus of all the officers should be less about punishing people over misperceived slights and more focused on safety, efficiency and keeping things moving over all else. I understand that given the type of job, traffic patrol officers likely endure mistreatment and burnout from dealing with impatient people day in and out, but taking this out onto innocent people who are just trying to navigate the center and figure out where they need to be is unacceptable as well as dangerous. The police and staff at this facility would be better off just being replaced and finding other employment. They are not the right people for this job.

This is a one star review for Ace Parking, who manages the parking for the Crescent Office Building. The spots are either two narrow (either because they are trying to fit too many spots into a small space, walls, or pillars) to fit a normal size car, let alone an SUV or truck. When I brought up the condition of the area I pay hundreds of dollars a month to reserve, I was told that I can park under an entirely different office tower or move to a spot I won't be able to fit my car into. Shameful. The office building itself is really quite beautiful. They just need new parking management.

Last week I parked in public spaces in front el Centro college on Main Street. The machine did not want to take my credit card so I paid by the app so there is really no physical proof you pay. I came back to find my car had a boot and had to pay $136 to get it off. They also take about an hour to get the boot off. I had to call and wait for a long time! This is theft! Do not park where it says public parking unless you have cash.

Scam. Bought parking prior to concert, when arrived lot was “full”. Went to open lot and the worker said my ticket was not valid, that I had to park in “x-lot”. I pay for parking again ($40) and the ticket clearly said I was in “x-lot”. Dishonest workers, also why does this parking company sell more parking spots than those that are available. Highly upset.
