I found Mr. Parra on a search online. After I read the good reviews my husband and I decided to have our business and personal taxes done with him. We were happy with the service provided for our taxes. A couple of months later the Department of Revenue asked for documentation on a change he had made to the tax filings on our business, which would result in a $1000.00 fine if not resolved. We exchanged messages and sent a picture of the letter as he requested...he said nothing to worry, I'll take care of it. 10 days later the Department of Revenue called saying we need to resolve the matter. This time we tried every means of contact possible, left messages, but the man had disappeared. We had to go to his office to find him. (Said he was traveling...No messages left to customers advising of travel, if that was the case) By the way we said we were going to pay for the consultation. So for the second time he said leave the letter and I'll take care of it. A week later the Department of Revenue called for the third time saying we were about to get fined for $1000.00 for this unresolved issue. So we had to scramble to find another accountant quickly to resolve the issue...I'm still puzzled. never returned our messages. (Update November 2020): Replied to review saying didn't hear from us for many months...We left countless messages through email, Txt, Voice. He called us 2 years later, offering services. never mentioned unresolved issue.

***UPDATED*** Mr. Parra made this situation right. Thank you for addressing this. ***ORIGINAL*** My original impressions of Mr. Parra were very good, but unfortunately I can not recommend his services after he failed to complete the job and kept my payment. Last October, I contracted with Mr. Parra to have several years of corporate returns prepared. He presented drafts of these returns and asked for payment before he submitted the returns to the IRS. I paid his invoice promptly. After receiving payment, he has completely disappeared. Numerous emails and phone calls go unanswered. My returns have never been submitted, and I've had to work with a new accountant to have this job re-done and written off the payment as a loss. I hope this wasn't a health related issue, but the absolute lack of communication after 12 months is inexcusable. Very sad and disappointed by my experience.

Great accountant, sat with me earlier on in the year and had provided some real solid advice about my small business. Adalberto is very thorough in his analysis of your particular situation and is able to provide solid answers in order for you to make an informed decision. I like his honesty and integrity in making sure you get the most out of your returns without compromising on the legalities. Update: 2/14/2020 I find out that my 2018 business taxes were not filed with the IRS. I still have not heard from Adalberto. It has been three weeks and I am still awaiting a response from him. Update 3/4/2020 I still have not heard from Adalberto who told me he would get back to me after he spoke with IRS. At this point they still do not have my 2018 taxes. Update 4/20/2020 Still no response. I have found another accountant to help me resubmit my 2018 taxes. My new accountant tried to reach out to him too but he never picked up.

I highly recommend Mr. Parra as your CPA. He is very knowledge, diligent and efficient. He will take the time to explain the IRS codes and laws that apply in your particular case and gives great importance in securing electronic document sharing. He was very kind, and patient when answering all my questions. He is the CPA to go to and is fully bilingual which is a plus when you speak Spanglish.
