In addition to beautification of Nagpur city and for improving tourism and also to attract citizens, construction of a Clock Tower at north side of Ajni Square on Wardha Road was done by Nagpur Municipal Corporation. High lights for the said work is as under :- Height: 21 meters. It is proposed to prepare the Clock Tower from stainless steel with parabolic shape. Second attraction of this square is, Mark Sherman 5 Tanks were first used in WW II by USA. This one was captured by India from Pakistan in 1965 War, kept as memorial of the war at Ajni Square, Nagpur. India abandoned the use of these tanks after 1965 War. Pakistan used them till 1971.

Can you see the time? Criminal waste of taxpayers money in such gimmiki monuments. Why you need a prehistoruc clock held in the dark when every guy has a watch and smart phone. And this ugly piece of art has been slapped on the city landscape. The lights once installed (3lakh pricing aporox) were stolen the 3rd day. And no provision was made to protect it and no clue who stole it. Zero ⭐️

One Star for Clock Tower, Nothing interesting.. the good thing you find there is The Car And Bike washing center which handle by the Ajni Central Jail Department and you can see the Prisoners washing your car ..
