A horrible place to attend an event, especially for the prices you'll pay to be there. 1) Parking is a significant issue. Put your walking shoes on. You can forget about UBER as well, there are too many people, too many streets shut down for major events, and they can't get in or out. 2) The facility itself needs to be updated. Armrests on the chairs feel like torture devices, and the restrooms are about as clean as your average outhouse. There is no central WiFi, and the reception is terrible. Note: Print a copy of your tickets! Do not rely on opening an app to view your ticket. There's a better-than-average chance you can't get reception. 3) Concessions. I don't know who's running the concession teams, but they need some retraining. Concessions are impressively slow for the number of people this place can fill—simple solution. Bonus your teams for transactions per hour. Allow more mobile ordering and pickup and have those instructions sent as part of ticket purchases from all major ticket vendors. Big stadium-style events are always tricky for logistics, but the Alamodome seems exceptionally gifted in screwing up all the basics. Avoid this place.

As a concert goer I've been to 2 concerts last year and one this year. There should be a section of the building for people to come in and then stand in line for the venue. This Texas weather is not to be played with. This last concert myself and 2 other people had heat exhaustion and thankfully they did let myself and the other 2 ppl in to cool off. Also standing in line at the concession stand on floor level a gentleman was attempting to connect his phone to the register Bluetooth or WiFi style and it was not working to pay for whatever it was he ordered. It took 20 minutes and held up the line. This should not be allowed. Takes up too much time and those lines are too long to wait. Should be cash/card only. Cards would be fine only as most are prepared with cards to pay. Also just a word of advice: come early! Traffic is horrendous if you wait till the last minute to go any venue hosted at the alamodome. Other than those problems I mentioned above we had a blast..bathrooms were clean and plenty of vendors and concession stands for food and drinks (alcoholic or not).

Why is it so damn hot inside!!! It was over 80 degrees during the entire 8 hours we attended DCI event. Every single business in las vegas can cool their venues to 68 degrees, why can't they hit mid 70's??? My dad is a purple heart veteran and the Alamodome was one of the worst facilities I've seen in regards to any kind if disability accommodations. Crazy far parking, only one set of elevators were available and not even properly marked. If you have limited mobility this is one of the worst venues to attend. I doubt they could legally rebuild the "old" Alamodome the same way if it was build in 2023. There are so many basic things they wouldn't be able to get away with not providing. Like more elevators /escalators, seating for wheel chairs, ramps etc. This building was not designed to efficiently more around thousands of people. In regards to getting food, the shortest I waited was 18 minutes for alcohol. The food lines took longer than 35 minutes. Each having more the 45 people per line.

All in all excellent experience at Alamodome stadium during our recent Nov 6th & 7th trip during UIL Marching Band State Championship. One thing I prominently want to point out that I didn't like (almost hate it in any stadiums!), a small water bottle, inside stadium, costs $6. Why make an absurd revenue model from visiting audiences when you have already milked them by charging exorbitantly high ticket price? Is that not enough?... I hate it hence taking 2 stars out from my ratings. This is one single reason, folks like me, don't want to visit stadiums, unless we have to. Not sure if anyone is listening or if anything will change but expressing my utter frustration of their "Get them inside the stadium, not allowing any food items during entry, and then milk them as much as possible, now since they are left with no choice" policy...

It was just HS game so we were able to sit in the 1sr row, 20 yd. line with GA ticket! QUICK NOTE: If you have online tickets, you should log in to website and take a screen shot of the QR code for your tickets before you even get in the car to head down to the Dome. Sounds silly but nobody is waiting for you if your group is at the gate. Also, weird note, women can't even take a medium size purse so accessorize properly. If you have kids, the diaper bag is your best bet to beat some of the outrageously priced concessions. Also, do your research around the walkways and look at all options before you snack! Overall you can get a good seat for most events with some affordability but be careful on what you spend on Nachos...that's really how much your seat will cost.

The Alamodome is a great place to attend an event at. I will say that they offer a bunch of different varieties of things to eat. They have Johnny Rockets, Papa Johns, and your local venue food such as chicken tenders, hot dogs, pretzels and those things. I will add that the seats are a bit small. So you may feel uncomfortable when sitting at an event. But to be honest the view that you get truly isn't a bad one because the area is a smaller one. The restroom are always clean and kept in working condition. It is a cashless facility so be aware to pay with a card. Also parking can be $25 and up to park to be aware if that.

We went as a group to see The Strokes and The Red Hot Chili Peppers. Parking is horrid. When we first got to our seats, I couldn't cool down and didn't feel like the AC was on. It did kick in shortly after. This isn't an "intimate" venue, and not every seat is a good seat, but it is a venue to pack lots of people for sure. The show was fun. I went to 3 concerts this week and 3 different venues. If I had to rank venues, this one comes in last. Tech Port with Mars Volta event and The Espee with Rodrigo y Gabriela event in their respective Google maps sections

Karol G was my 1st concert at the Alamodome. Concert was amazing. I sat in the bottom level but always felt like Karol G was so far away. I think for concerts floor seats might be better. I never got a clear picture or video of her. I had to keep looking up at the screen. The width of the seats are great compare to the at&t center, and feet space is also good for sitting, but definitely gotta get up for people getting by.

Saw Guns 'N' Roses 2023 Tour Concert at the Alamodome. The concert was beyond Phenomenal. It was the #1 item on my bucket list, and I never thought I would ever get to check it off. I saw them when I was a teenager before they broke up. The Alamodome was a great venue to see them again as it was pack to the rafter. The only complaint I had was beer was way overpriced!

Had a great time at the 2023 Pink concert tour! Security was at their best when a guest decided to speak his mind and make people feel a bit uncomfortable! Loved the Floor seating! Recommend the aisle seating to avoid people getting in and out. Clear bags allowed; or small size purses allowed. Wish the parking wasn’t so far! Wear comfortable shoes!

  • Lacie Ferrier

This is the absolute worst venue for handicap accessability. Their handicap drop off gets closed off at the end of shows. Do not go here if you need accessability. You'll get told to stand in the rain for hours until they "open the road" so you can be picked up. 9 police officers standing around and not one can get your vehicle in.

There is plenty of parking and if you hate walking then this may not be a good place to visit. We came for a graduation and only one elevator was working so that sucked. We ended up using the stairs and for someone wearing heels that was a poor choice on my behalf. But the inside is huge but great views from the top to the stage!

Pretty decent venue. Seats aren't nearly as padded as hoped. Prolonged seating not encouraged by these seat. Relatively clean. Lots of parking available but parking is expensive ($20) in my opinion and cash was not accepted. Facility maintained but very few toilets in the restroom considering how much people the venue holds.

Joyce Meyer conference at the Alamodome from the 19th-21st. I absolutely love every conference she does. The Alamodome is huge and easily seats her thousands of fans . It’s pretty amazing inside. I also got to see Sadie Robertson (Duck Dynasty) and she also does her own podcast . It’s been a fantastic experience!

Amazing stadium really memorable first time there to see Guns N Roses. The show and setup was amazing. The only thing was the staff could not handle such a huge group of people and the food was lacking nothing appetizing. Other than that it was a good time.

Went to watch a marching band competition. Pretty easy to get to. Spot set up for Uber to drop off/pick up. Walk ways/concourse wide and gradually sloped. Seats were a bit dated and uncomfortable after a while. Doesn't seem to be a bad view of the field.

  • Krystal Weiss

Typically stadium. Crazy overpriced and mostly mediocre food. The pizza was undercooked. The nachos were typical. I did enjoy the Chicago Dog. I’d love to know why the markup is so extravagant at any sporting venue and music venue. Captive audiences?

  • thomas kloss

I went here for a concert and was so impressed with the staff, the venue and the ease of getting around I have made it my new goto place for concerts. As I made my way to the doors an employee noticed me walking with my crutches and offered

Nice place. Lots of choices for food. Hot dog, chips, coke is about 10.00. The pizza was about 13.00. They also had dip n dots. I didn't eat that so no idea on prices. They had a snow cone place as well. It wasn't a normal event so it was

Alamodome is... How can I describe it and the experience....it is AWESOME POSSUM SAUCE. Employees, sapd, and fellow spectacles and events covered me with the sauce of love, smiles, laughter, excitement, adrenaline, hugs, happiness, new

Seats were so uncomfortable. People were crammed in so tight they didn't have arm room or leg room. We were at a long event that lasted from 1pm until about 10pm. We were in so much pain from such horrible seating conditions, it was

As always a fantastic facility! With DCI and their volunteer helpers load-in and load-out was so much easier than us doing everything on our own, so thank you DCI Jim, Brian, Kim, Jill, and the other dozen I'm forgetting!!

  • Steve R.

The parking is as you'd expect, third rate horrible design , but, commensurate with a 3rd world city such as San Antonio. So I suppose the hood rats are right at home here. Here watching Band UIL. Inside is passable.

  • Patrick O.

The dome does a good job of getting people in and out safely. There is plenty of bathrooms and places to get a snack. It is a pretty nice venue and I recommend coming to visit it if you are ever in San Antonio Texas.

  • eddie lira

Went and saw Pink last night. She put on a great show. The problem was the venue was very hot that even Pink commented that she thought the Alamo dome had A/C. It was hot the entire concert. Fix the A/C please.

  • Misty Mccauley

Extreme amount of walking while they closed off many exits or places to enter & exit causing lots of congestion & extra walking but loved the Love Life Women's Conference Joyce Meyers ❤️

  • Moni Arai

Came to see my beautiful niece and my son graduate. It was pretty packed. The employee did a great job telling us where to go. Don't sit on the side the lights above will blind you..

  • DJ Scotty Walden

We had a great time. We sat in the nosebleed seats and could still hear everything and thanks to the screens could see everything. Wonderful experience. Definitely going back.

  • Otho Nugent

UTSA game was fun, good indoor environment. Not bad for a dome but I have been to better arenas and football games. Free tickets and football so I'm not complaining.

  • John Stanford II

Didn't know you had to get a parking pass. To go to a football game. Other than that, we had a good experience at the game. Getting the lower tier seats is a must.

  • Joshua Chavana

Cops do a good job with watching out for pedestrians and directing traffic after events. Feel safe and surrounded by lit up areas when leaving the area.

  • Gilbert Cruz Jr

Was a okay place a lot of stairs and a maze sort of not very good service inside and chairs weren’t big people friendly food was great and atmosphere

  • Hernan Flores

Ok stadium. Dirty restrooms as expected during a big event. It was hectic when it was time to leave and waited to exit for about 45 mins.

  • Gerald Evans

Great facility. Not too large. Lines can be long and slow. You also have to search for the food and drinks you want. UTSA vs Texas State.

  • April Bingham

5/172023 Went with my husband and youngest daughter to see The Red Hot Chili Peppers live! It was so excellent! I felt 15 agai !!

  • Willie Porche

Saw a fantastic rhcp concert tonight. Fantastic show. Staff was great. Best advice is to stay at a hotel close by and walk there.

  • Eric Bunch

Saw Guns and Roses here and it was an excellent concert. Great place to see a concert with lots of food and drink options.

  • Danny Martz

This place is amazing for concerts. Beer is cold and the best, they offer snacks everywhere. A bit pricey but worth it.

  • Bon Bon

Great experience. Was there for UTSA and Texas State game. Absolutely loved it

  • Trish Wilder
