Albert’s is my weekly go to. I make a point of getting take out or sitting in the restaurant at least once a week. I usually order the exact same thing every time because I can count on it. The food is always delicious and comforting and I can always count on the staff to make me feel welcome. The ladies who work here make me feel like family every time I go. To me, there’s no better feeling than going to your favourite restaurant and the staff greet you with such kindness and care and you feel like you belong every time you eat there or even take it home with you. If you want delicious comfort food served with love, this is definitely the place to go. I’m an Albert’s lifer and I’m proud of it. P.S. The soups are all amazing and I highly recommend the Clubhouse Sandwich. It’s nothing fancy, just a traditional old school Clubhouse but it is my absolute favourite meal because it is delicious every single time.

I'm surprised that the latest reviews are 5 stars. I was here days ago, probably last weekend (end of January). Felt hungry and bored about ideas of any other restaurants in downtown. So I came here, where I always drive by but never came in. I ordered an omelet with 2 wheat toasts and shredded harsh brown. Honestly speaking, there were quite groups of people there and I realized that my order would take longer, which would be understandable. However, the food was lukewarm when served. regardless of the taste or the service, I don't understand that how come the food was lukewarm if there are so many patrons dinning in. That was NOT OK! Basically when I was in line to pay my check, there was a guy cut the line, but nobody said anything. quite disappointed to this place, however I know these customers treat this place like home and feel comfortable. but for people who don't come regularly, this place should make them feel welcomed. Unfortunately, they pushed some of them away.

Definitely a place to go neither family, friends or a situation that requires good access with loads of room for walking before the lovely booths and staff. You can see Dustin in the back kitchen (his natural habitat) who I asked for my steak at the chef's choice of medium rare and it was amazing, large potions, kids and Senior's menu.

this review has been a long time coming but i spent 3 months in edmonton this summer and this was my go to place for breakfast. claudine was an absolutely amazing server and person in general. she treated me and my service dog delyla with so much care and made us feel welcome every time we went for breakfast. i will make a point of always going for lunch or breakfast or even just to say hello when i come to edmonton for my appointments.

Albert's family restaurant (124st./106ave.,Edmonton) is a delightful relic Of old fashioned quality diner: clean, good service, Good food, very reasonable price, convenient Location. Took my parents here as other locations have been great . But hostest DID NOT LISTEN ; to type of seating we needed or , our order either; or refills or not and when all was said and done the breakfast with 2 ordering the "special" was more expensive than red lobster so really not impressed at all. The quintessential diner. Nothing fancy. Lots of diner style options. They were really good about accommodating my special order. Portion sizes were average to large. Service was friendly and efficient. Food tasted better than it looked. The decor is simple and diner like- that being said it is comfortable and I stayed and chatted for 1.5 hours. Prices were reasonable. Refills on drinks frequent. We chose the spot for convenience. I wouldn't make a special trip but it was a good spot.

Came here on a Sunday at the recommendation of a friend. Really like the cozy retro atmosphere. It was pretty busy, and I can see why Albert's is so popular. Wait staff are friendly and attentive. Ordered the Monster Monte, and apple pie a la mode, which were both good. Serving sizes are pretty good for the price. Definitely worth a visit!

I have wonderful memories of Alberts Restaurants coming to my elementary school to serve us turkey dinner at least twice for Thanksgiving. They also gave all of us little gift bags with fruits, a soda, a neat red toque everyone wore, and some other things. I remember the food being really good, especially the turkey and potatoes/gravy, I wanted seconds. What a wonderful gift you gave us all Thank you!! ❤

I went here for brunch with my daughter as she always raves about their potato pancakes. I myself opted for the Denver sandwich and did get a little taste of said pancakes: they WERE good! This place has an old school diner vibe and that is meant as a compliment. The décor is quite plain but very clean. Our server was most attentive and our coffee cups were never more than half empty. I'd totally recommend.

Leslie is the epitome of a great restaurant manager/ owner. She runs her restaurant like she would her home. Her customers are greeted by name, she remembers what you like, she never lets coffee cups go dry, her service is excellent. You are always welcomed as a friend. Her meals are freshly prepared and come with what you asked for -every time. Always a good day when it starts with breakfast here.

10/10 They never fail! You having a bad day? They can cheer you up! Diners have disappointed you in the past? Albert’s have never disappointed me! (Except when I woke up at 3pm and oh well they close at that time but that’s my fault) I really like ‘em.

This place is the best, the staff are very pleasant and courteous. We go here often because it's kinda old school and the staff seem to care about the patronage. I would definitely encourage everyone to go their for breakfast, lunch ,brunch or dinner. They have the bestest toast I've ever had. We are there at least 3x this last week that's how good it is. Hadn't been too Albert's for breakfast in a long time. The food is still good and then service is excellent (Leslie is just the best server anywhere) but the prices were higher than I remembered. Everywhere has gone up unfortunately but this breakfast was $60 for 3 people. Too much in my opinion but the rest is all good. Lost 1 star for pricing.

Terrible service, my coffee cup still had lip stick on the rim. The waitress was older and miserable, the girlfriends ham was pretty much raw and she was told it's fine. Pancakes tasted like they came straight out of a box. I do not recommend this place at all get a McDonalds breakfast you will be better served with food that's cooked

This place has been around forever it seems. Hadn't been there in years. It hasn't changed a bit. The decor is the same but more importantly the food is as good as it ever was. Service was efficient and friendly. Always refills on the coffee and the prices are reasonable. I'll go back again and again for a good hearty breakfast.

Had the strawberries and pancakes, strawberries were frozen and mushie whipped cream was funny tasting, asked if we wanted refills on coffee waitef another 15 minutes. Only recieved 20% off the bill.

We went in for breakfast early in the morning. Server was polite and very friendly. Food was hot, fresh and cooked properly. Great little old school breakfast diner. Some updates could be done to the decor to spruce it up, but the place was clean. COVID measures were properly taken and masks were worn by staff.

Quality of the sausage was surprisingly good with breakfast, had both chicken and pork. A server sat two people who came in after us before seating my wife and I, so that left a sour taste right off the bat. Had different server actually serve us and she was delightful.
