Went to this place last night and OMG beautiful. We had the meze for 2. You might think £48 was a bit pricey but let me tell you it was well worth it. Started with the pitta bread and dips. There was more than enough for 2. Then came the starters. Again - there was more than enough for 2. We didn’t even get to the meat dishes. The owner potted it all up and we have heated in the oven and had it for dinner tonight. It feed 3 adults. The food was amazing. Would strongly recommend. The young waiter was brilliant. I am just annoyed I didn’t take his name. For a young man he was full of confidence. Nothing was too much for him. A real gentleman and an absolute credit to the owners. This place is definitely are new go to place. Well done to the whole team

Visit Alexandros for the true Greek flavour experience. This is one of only two restaurants in Manchester (the other one being Kosmos) that offer true Greek food. Alexandros's Greek cook ensures everything is done to perfection, and the food tastes what it's supposed to taste like - if you don't like it, you don't like Greek food! For a taste of everything, try the mixed mezze - you can ask for veg or a mix of veg and meat for a complete experience. This place has been amongst the top 3 restaurants in Manchester in TripAdvisor. Right now it's in the top 20 (out of nearly 2000 reviewed restaurants), and I do think that's too low. Do try the Greek beer or the Ouzo to complete your Greek experience at Alexandros!

I've had my birthday party in this place following a friend recommendation. The party of 25 people were welcomed by the owner and his wife and the whole evening we were feeling like at home. Truly authentic Greek cuisine, not from frozen boxes but freshly prepared while you are taking your drink. We had the meat Meze and every dish was very tasty and perfectly cooked. It was a place where we could relax and weren't rushed through our meal. I will recommend this restaurant to all my family and friends. See you again very soon. Amazing place. Owner is very kind and helpful. Food was so nice and fresh, I honestly couldn't say a bad word about the place. Even the price was amazing, under £50 for 2 course adults meal and drinks. Will definitely be back.

Just been here tonight and omg what a treat.. we ordered 2x 2person meze for 5 of us, it was so much food it would of easy feed 6 of us. The food was absolutely delicious and we will definitely be back. The service was fantastic. The waitress explained all the dishes and was very attentive. The chef came out to see where we were up to during the meze. He was lovely and told us not to fill up on pitta (this is great advice lol) This is a must visit place, highly recommended.

Used this place a lot over the years iit was shut over lockdown and covid. Then open for takeaway only. Now fully open we went last weekend. Food was very drab. My starter was ok. Main gyros very dry. Wifes main was bowl of 8 meatballs and a bowl of greek potatoes. No pitta bread no sauce and no salad. Looking like its geared up for takeaway customers. Long long time if we go again. If ever. Definitely gone downhill

What a wonderful little restaurant, the food was authentic Greek cuisine, we ordered the meat meze and we ended up bursting at the seams with the generous portions. The grilled meat was so tender and tasty. Hospitality was great, we felt valued and put at ease, by the boss and the waiting staff. Normally at restaurants we eat and leave quickly, but we felt relaxed here and enjoyed taking our time. We'll be back for sure!

Food was good. But the place lacked atmosphere. Tables bare no flowers etc. Music far too loud. Almost bare walls except odd picture. No ambience at all. Not even glasses on table. You cannot catch covid through glasses and flowers if this was why the place looked so stripped of every thing. Service excellent. Very basic for an evening out shame food good. Shall not be going again. Turn down the music please.

Found this gem... the food was delicious and the hospitality is very warm... both by the lady waitress and the chef. Thank you for feeding us such authentic Greek food.... Good service and nice people. Food average and ok, but nothing special. Didn't feel like anything that couldn't be done by anyone in their own kitchen and the dips were a bit supermarket-esk. Decor was a bit tired but didn't detract from the experience. Quiet for a Friday night. Good value for money with the mezze. We wouldn't go back but it's OK.

We have visited Alexandros a number of times to eat in, but this was out first time ordering takeaway but won't be our last! Amazing authentic Greek food at a great price, delivered bang on time and the food was delicious! Would recommend the moussaka, and lamb souvlaki. Looking forward to ordering again soon from our local Greek restaurant.

Went with a friend, we had the meze. The staff were incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, they were well presented and very friendly. The owner was there and great with the customers too! The food was fantastic, incredibly well seasoned and reasonably priced too. I’m coming back again!
