First time visit to All Bar One at Brindley place this afternoon, lured away my usual route into the city centre by an offer on the drink and has failed to disappoint. The bar was quiet at this time of day (around 2pm), but plenty of staff to around with no waiting around to be served. Those who served were all friendly, polite, and felt unrushed to chose my drink from the wide selection available. All of the other staff also come across as happy to be there, and keeping the place tidy as go along. Sat inside for most of the visit, where the music was at a comfortable level, air conditioned and felt relaxed throughout entire visit. Modern and trendy atmosphere to the place. The outside seating area looks nice too, with the plants surrounding it to separate it from the the busy Brindley Place main area making it a little more private when sitting outside. I did not eat here, so can't comment personally on the food. But had a flick through the menu and there is plenty of choice. Others orders coming out looked pretty decent though, will consider having food sometime in the future and update the review more then. Toilets were clean, fresh smell and generally well kept. Nice touch to have a moisturiser available too at the sinks! Did spot one of the soap is missing, but the other sink had plenty so not a problem. Only issue from entire visit really is the O2 WiFi, it was so slow to load anything that I couldn't use it and had to tether laptop to mobile phone instead. Could do with it being taken a look at, as the bar was quiet so doubt many were using it. Does not impact my rating as had my mobile to hand as a fall back though. Spotted a small but tempting selection of cakes at the end of the bar - may have to try these at some point when passing for a coffee! Enjoyed my visit, and will be very happy to return!

I went for their bottomless and we had a great time. Apologies for the lack of pictures, but we were just too busy having a good time My friend has some severe allergies, but our host Flo was fantastic at explaining the menu and ensured there was no risk. We both went for the classic full English and it was great. The poached eggs were perfectly runny, sausages and bacon good quality, and we loved not having bean juice leaking all over the plate Our only criticism of the food would be the tomato was undercooked for our liking (seemed like it had barely touched the pan) and the beans were quite runny. But in fairness, I cook my beans low and slow so they go all sticky. It’s the only way For £35 you also get 90 minutes of unlimited Prosecco, G&T, Aperol spritz or a choice of flavoured daiquiris We stuck with daiquiris and enjoyed every last one. Flo was on it with orders and the bar staff were really hot on getting the drinks made. We even hung around after our time was up for espressos which were also fab. We wanted to go for bottomless at an indi, but we couldn’t find one mid week. All Bar One didn’t let us down though and I’d definitely go back again.

A very disappointing new years meal, two beyond vegan burgers and two chips I had ordered came out of the kitchen cold. The fish and chips well the fish was hot and the chips were lukewarm. So I sent the four meals back. However, the second time round the meals was just as bad as the first time. The beyond burgers tasted and felt like they had been reheated in the microwave and some of the chips were still unevenly cooked. The waiting staff were great so I have given one star to them. The manager Jo was very helpful and sorted out drinks for my three guests and said she would refund the meals as this was unacceptable. Well looking at my bank statement this morning she had refunded the money on the Saturday night, and recharged me for the meals on the Sunday. Thank you Jo great customer service not. I encourage you all not to eat at this bar shocking!! how can the person in the kitchen get these meals so wrong?? All my years of working in the food establishment I have never been so disgusted as I am with this bar. I have two words to you Jo, DO BETTER.

3 Adults, 3 kids (all 12 and over) turned up around 9pm for food. We all went to the bar where 2 members of staff saw us. We found a table easily as it was VERY quiet. Having then ordered our food and drink a member of the staff, quite abrupt and rude said children we not allowed after 8pm and had to find out if we were able to stay. A few mins later she appeared again and said we were allowed (WOW how honoured). Several minutes later Captain C**tyface turned up and rudely said we had to be out of the building by 10pm, then waddled off. Food arrived, leaving us about 25 minutes to eat and drink. Bang on 10pm, Captain C**tyface said he was kicking us out. Never been spoken too so badly after spending a decent amount of money. Would never go again. Extremely rude staff.

The service was great. We had Nina as our waitress, who despite being very busy as it was a Saturday, managed to provide excellent service for us. The drinks came out so fast and the food was nice. There was a very good range of drinks for bottomless that were all so nice. She also bought out a brownie for us as i was celebrating my 18th birthday. A Really good experience would definitely do again. The only thing i’d want more of is time! i understand completely that it was a saturday so very busy, i think i’d come on a more quiet day so we could possibly stay longer as there is less likely to be a table after us. Food was terrible, the chef may want to actually look up what a pad thai is. It’s not uncooked noodles swimming in sweet chilli sauce. I had prawns with mine and paid £5 for 4 prawns. Gyoza were ok but cold. Service was slow and disinterested. Despite everything being ordered via an app it has the cheek to ask for a tip. Here’s a tip, don’t have your waiting staff sitting at tables chatting to mates next to tables of empty glasses and finished with dishes. The same waitress just plonked our drinks on the table without a word too. No check backs either. Only positive is the drinks were nice but with the caveat that they were very overpriced. A £6.40 for a vodka coke is robbery.

Celebrated my graduation here last night and I honestly cannot recommend this place enough. I reserved a private area upstairs for 25 people which had a private bar. I received outstanding customer service from Charlotte and Jenny in the planning stages. Fantastic delivery of service on the night from Jo on the bar and the rest of the team who helped out. The kitchen absolutely delivered aswell everyone enjoyed their meals. We moved downstairs later on in the night to enjoy the DJ who was playing all the good tunes to keep everyone dancing. Doormen were also fantastic very polite and helpful. Overall I can see this place has an amazing team who can work together and deliver exceptional service!! Thank you all for a night to remember!!

My friend and I decided to pop in for a quick drink before we got our train back home from our Birmingham trip and they had an offer on the cocktails where you can get 2 for £13, albeit you have to get the same cocktail, so my friend wanted to try the Spiced Rum Punch, and wow it was so nice! A lot of crushed ice in the drink mind you, but we managed to get through it. The atmosphere was so nice and we both said it would be the perfect spot for a nice birthday meal, especially with the view of the canal on one side of the building. I'd definitely come back again for drinks and maybe even try the food next time round.

Well well well, what can I say, I have never had the pleasure of such a fantastic experience at a bottomless brunch. The food was excellent, the atmosphere was brilliant but most of all the service was astronomical. Lilly, our server, could not have been more attentive, taking care of our every need especially when catering to our allergy requirements. Whenever I have a have the pleasure of visiting Birmingham in the future I will make sure to visit the All Bar One in Brindley and if possible, request Lilly to be our waitress! 10/10 experience

Went for a drink on a night out, standing at the bad waiting to order to be told by a waiter that they are not serving from the side of the bar that we are stood at. Which is perfectly fine and I appreciated that I then stand to the left waiting to be served to then see the same man serving about 10 minutes later a number of drinks to someone stood at the bar that which is apparently not serving. I asked him I thought you was not serving from this side he then responded ‘I’m not’ ‘they ordered earlier’ I do not appreciate being lied to when I stood and watched the people who were served walk to the bar after me. This lead us leaving and I will not be wasting my money here at all.

Water’s Edge, Broad Street, Birmingham What can we say? This place has a genuinely warm, comfortable, relaxed vibe. We have tried the Pitcher & Piano and Las Iguanas nearby, and sure; we enjoyed them. But this All Bar One is worlds apart, not only in terms of ambience, but also in terms of food and great levels of staff friendliness, attentiveness and professionalism. Customer service excellence.! We have returned and we will continue to do so. Thank you guys! And Merry Xmas!

Reserved a table for pre-concert dinner. Had to wait a couple of minutes before someone available for the prebooked desk, but sat down immediately, table clearly reserved for us. Went to the bar, wanted a bitter but only lager and Guinness on draught. Asked for a Guinness, “Guinness is off”. Apart from two pints drawn 5 minutes earlier. Cheekily asked if I could get one half price, and “bar manager” gave it to me no charge. Great customer service. Had another round of drinks and nice meal and left. Very good.

Visited on a Wednesday evening - fairly quiet in there, we had a table of 6 people. The food quality was good, but a little cold.. only major issue was the service was extremely slow or incomplete. Ie we would only get our partial drinks order so would have to remind the waiter. The starters came out missing one person and had to wait, the mains took what felt like an eternity to arrive - a good hour. As such we didn't bother with dessert over fear of how long it would take! Nice place though, and we probably just got unlucky with the waiter. Prices were reasonable too.

Been to All bar one Brindlyplace a few times in the late afternoon/evening mainly for drinks.Always been impressed by the friendly staff and Alex who always when I've been there seems to take pride and care in what he does.He's definitely a credit to the team and can certainly pour a decent pint or two.There is a great atmosphere and it's a clean looking and modern place that is suitable for all.The food menu lookes amazing and can not wait to try at somepoint the food.

We went here for boozy brunch for my birthday, the lady serving us i believe her name is Cassey was fabulous very attentive and always happy to help couldn't fault her at all. The food was good and the prosecco provided was nice. The waitress who took over once Cassey had left wasn't as good and her general attitude was poor. We also found her to be rude at times which spoilt the end of what was a fabulous boozy brunch. To anyone who likes prosecco i would definitely reccomend the boozy brunch, it is also a very reasonable price.

The bottomless brunch was amazing as usual. Despite the bar being quite busy, the wait for food wasn’t that bad, and the drinks arrived quickly too. The range of cocktails on offer was amazing, and the staff on shift were extremely attentive. The eggs royale were perfectly prepared, the smoked salmon was extremely flavourful and the English muffins were toasted to perfection, and slathered with plenty of Hollandaise (which is my favourite part!). I’d definitely recommend ABO’s bottomless brunch as it’s fantastic value for money.

With December and Christmas parties in full swing, came here after having a meeting in a nearby hotel. The location is great. On the water and the surrounding area is a lively place. Plenty of options for nightlife. Our group all had some cocktails to celebrate. The banana Mai Tai is really good. The empty glass won't show you the banana in the cocktail or be able to tell you how good the banana infused rum was.

My wife and I really like this bar and restaurant and have frequented the place many, many times over the years. The food is great, particularly the ever changing delicious tapas and sharing plate options. It's tasty food that trumps most of the local eateries. The service is always good and the atmosphere is friendly and welcoming, even when busy. The beer selection is good and there are plenty of decent wines on offer too. Well worth a visit.

A very good looking All Bar One. Great location, on the water, and very nicely done inside. We ordered through the app, and we were the only ones in there, but it was impressively quick. Both for the food and the drink. Tasty, good value for money.

Bottomless brunch was amazing for the service and drinks. I was a little disappointed with Chicken Quesadilla meal, as it was very small and didn't have a lot of filling. However the full breakfast and the cheese burger options were large portions and looked delicious. Also bottomless brunch is more about drinks which were lovely. It was also nice that some of us could upgrade and that the whole table didn't have to.

Came here on a Saturday night with my family, no complaints at all just it was very busy and the music was a bit loud. We were served at the bar by a girl with red hair and a guy with brown hair, he was quite tall (didn’t catch their names unfortunately). Both were lovely and made great cocktails, the waitresses who brought drinks over were nice and friendly too. Great experience as someone who’s not a local!

I came here recently for a friend's 30th birthday and the staff were very attentive- we were greeted at the door and shown to a table upstairs by Joanna who was on the door as the downstairs was quite busy, which was really considerate of her. The bar service by Alex upstairs was also amazing, all of the cocktails were absolutely delicious and I'd definitely recommend coming here no matter the occasion.

Throughly enjoyed my time at bottomless bunch. The drinks exceptional, courtesy of Jay, what a guy. his attention to detail is unmatched. his friendly mannerisms were renowned. i will definitely be making it my regular bottomless brunch outlet. Thank you!

Food was beautiful & exactly how we asked... Few fussy teenagers. Service however wasn't the best, the lady told me they hadn't looked at bookings system so didn't reserve us a table, which wasn't great as it was a treat for my daughter's birthday. Staff were all stood in the back bit of the bar & just came out as & when. Wished I would have gone to new street instead.

That Emily bartender chick goes hard. Never drank such delicious long islands in my life. Me and my fellow brethren felt our thirst was quenched rather adequately afterward. Will be returning for more pleasantries, snacks and perhaps BEVerages.

Like this place, it's a typical all bar one but the service was good after using the app to order and there's a decent range of drinks on offer. The location is great as there are a range of bars nearby and it's right by the canal too. Only complaint was no heaters outside and it was freezing. Given the price of fuel currently though, I can't really blame them!

I went there 4 months ago and the bar was really very beautiful and elegant. Excellent location for visiting the city. The bar was very clean ,delicious food and fantastic cocktails. The service was impeccable thanks above all to an Italian girl named Federica.

Amazing. Love their breakfasts and we're always happy when there's an All Bar One wherever we visit. The eggs royal is exceptional, eggs always cooked to perfection. Each bar is fantastic, they all look amazing, but this branch is incredible. The staff today were brilliant. And their loyalty app is the best out, bar none (pun intended).

Went out for drinks with friends on Saturday and had a great time! The atmosphere was lovely. We could order drinks using the app and never had to wait very long for our order. The DJ played great music and everyone was up on their feet a few times for a dance! Had a fab night, will definitely visit again!

Although they take payment in cash, it is seen as an inconvenience. It is very expensive food wise and to be honest there wasnt much choice. The music is too loud, so you can't have a proper conversation.

So grateful for the wonderful staff here who made my daughters graduation celebration flawless! From the booking of the table to the drinks and food and the friendly service, and on the hottest day of the year too!! We were especially impressed by the cocktails and the tapas!

Visit here with my family. Staff cleared a table for us as long as we out before the reserved time. Ordering through website by scanning the QR code on the table was easy and the drinks and food arrived quickly. I had the beef brisket and cheese burger, really good.

Booked a cocktail master class and Buffet lunch at all bar one for one bride to be and 8 hens!! We had a great time!! Thomas was good fun! I would highly recommend booking here! The bar is spacious , the cocktails are nice! Nothing to complain about! :-D

Came here for engagement drinks. Aircon was broken. Was boiling hot inside. Fanned myself with a menu most of the evening. The bar que was also very long. Overall was a buzzing atmosphere but you'd think central bars would have the best aircon.

It was nice but I don't understand why nobody came to take my order at my table when other people around me did get their order taken as they were sitting down. I had to go to the bar myself to order my food. The food was otherwise good.

A nice pub/restaurant. Can get very busy especially at weekends. Good location by canalside. Enjoyed watching live music there during recent jazz festival.

It is not hygenic. The table had not been cleaned and our food left on dirty table. Do not eat here if you want to keep your health.
