I have been a long-time customer of AE and have always worn AE shoes for my professional wear. I was recently in New Orleans for a work trip and received an invitation to a black-tie event for an event in Washington DC. The invitation arrived on Monday afternoon and I ran over to Brooks Brothers to order a tux for the event on Friday. The New Orleans store did not have shoes for a tux in store but Gerald Hayes Jr. worked so hard to order the shoes to be shipped from the warehouse to be delivered to my home in DC. His sense of urgency made me feel so welcomed. If it did not work out, there was no back-up plan of what to wear to the event, so I am beyond grateful for his work and effort to make my event successful. The staff was very friendly and helped me work out what I needed from the massive number of options. The shoes are extremely well built and use wonderful leather. I bought a pair of brown leather derby shoes, some fantastic white sneakers, a belt, and some socks. Everything was great. If you need quality shoes this is a great place to buy. The staff gets a commission for in store sales, but they were not pushy at all. I took the business card from the guy who helped me and will try to buy through him going forward.

I drove over 3 hours from Jackson, MS because Unfortunality MS doesn't have a AE store in the state. Jordan was very helpful, after spending around an hour there trying on various shoes and sizes I finally landed on the Park Avenue in black. He was very knowledgeable in helping me pick the right size and fit. After wearing them for a bit, I must say they are the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. I will visit this location again in the future. Highly recommend.

I was at the store maybe 15 minutes before closing on Sunday. Jordan stayed back 40 minutes after closing to find me the perfect shoe and perfect fit. He was knowledgable, patient, polite, and very helpful. Even though it was way past his scheduled hours, he never rushed me and helped me try on several sizes before finding the right fit. Allen Edmonds is known for the quality, well crafted shoes, but it is people like Jordan who make it special.

Outstanding service at this branch compared to the many others I visited over the years. The lady who assisted me was very knowledgeable and patient in helping me find the correct shoe size. Both her and her colleague were very professional, polite and pleasant to talk to. I will definitely be back whenever I get to visit NOLA again.
