We ordered from All Spice for the first time this evening, a special occasion, our 25th Wedding Anniversary. I can honestly say it was THE best Indian meal we've ever had in nearly 30 years of enjoying curries. It was delivered quickly, within 35 minutes, hot and fresh. Between us we had the Jal Lamb, Chicken Pasanda, Onion Baji, Keema Nan, Poppadoms, Boiled Rice and Meat Samosas. Unequivocally the best quality, the best tasting food we've had in a long time, and the best curries ever. There was plenty of it, all scalding hot, obviously freshly cooked fresh ingredients. The lamb and chicken simply melted in our mouths, and my Jal made my eyes water just the right amount, as I'm not accustomed to hot curries I'd say this was medium heat, but those who like it hot might find them too mild. The Pasanda was creamy and delicious, mild as Korma with plenty of juicy soft chicken chunks. The Samosas, Poppadoms and Bajis were perfect, hot and fresh just like the rest. Neither of us could finish our meals, it was filling and my mouth is watering just describing it all again. We rarely indulge in this type of meal because it can be expensive, and although our meal came to around £30, I can honestly say it was worth every penny. The next special occasion might be a year away but it will be worth waiting for.

Best curry I've had in Bristol since moving here 8 years ago. I can't believe I live so close to this place and hadn't been or ordered from here before. Curries were smooth and beautifully spiced. The exotic korma was very mild and lamb tikka madras had a warm heat to it that was pleasant and balanced with the flavour of the spices. Mint sauce as mentioned by other reviewers was very nice. We had salad at home and it made a lovely dressing. Onion bhajis were wonderfully crispy and yummy, especially dipped in the mint sauce. Nan breads were fluffy and fresh. Overall brilliant service, food was piping hot and punctual for our pre-order time. Website was easy to use and it was nice to be able to buy direct without having to use a third party website. We will be ordering again No pictures because we tucked right in!

Pretty underwhelmed, also potentially poor hygiene??* Not sure how the reviews are so high! Staff are very friendly, 5*, but I'd come for the food! Takeaway Currys always have oil on top, sure, but the oil usually carries flavour... This one it did not, more used oil taste than aubergine for the side I ordered. Not much meat tbh either but the clincher (literally) *Stomach not right the next day A side note also the naan seemed just as microwaved (soggy) as the rest of it and the cheese topping had only been just softened/sweated. This really needs a grill/oven guys.

My wife used to buy curries from here when she lived in Bristol so we thought we'd go there for a take ⁸away. I enjoy a curry well enough but usually end up disappointed that the taste didn't match the smell. All Spice however qualifies as the best Indian food I've eaten by quite some way. We had a set menu for 2 which was very favourably priced for the amount of food you get. The food was extremely tasty (as good as it smelled!) With even the minted yoghurt dressing being much higher quality than any other I've had from a restaurant. I have to say I was very impressed and that it's worth all the 5 stars it gets

Tried the Takeaway with delivery. 1.Food was nowhere near the usual standard 2. Even though we are only 5min away by car, delivery took well over the 45min stated on the website and I had to ring multiple times to help them get a shift on. I'm more disappointed than anything. Standard was well below what I've experienced from here before. Definitely won't be going for delivery service again. Not even sure I'll go back here, even though this has always been our no.1 choice.

The worst curry we've ever had. We had three curries and sides. Most of the sides were ok, but all the curries were terrible, just sweet runny liquid which was not enjoyable to eat, We ended up throwing half of it away. We had tried here before a few years ago and weren't impressed, thought we'd try again, but we won't be making this mistake again.

Loads of great Indian vegetarian AND vegan options available clearly marked on their website menu.

Average and tasteless. Parathas were too greasy. Very bland and I ordered a Madras! We had to add chili sauce and extra seasoning. Not sure how it received such high ratings as there's so many better take aways in Bristol. I'm going back to Ali Babas.

We had a takeaway from here and the food was great. Sauces full of flavour, naan just the right level of sweet vs savoury, pilau rice was spot on. Only reason for 4 stars was that the website said it had been delivered about 5 minutes before it had which resulted in a panic while we tried to ring for no one to answer the first call.

  • Justin Paul

I would have said this place was possibly the best Indian takeaway in Bristol. But as it turns out it is the best in the southwest having won that accolade. All curries I've had here are tasty full of flavour and not too greasy. The chilli is kept under control but still can get a hot one if you like! The breads are also good.

  • Patricia Stevens

Disgusting curry ordered keema Nan...no mince in it...papadom was nice BUT the sauce was bland...just like pain yoghurt....salad for the papadom lettuce...one tomato. One cucumber NOT even cut up..And NO onions...chicken tikka no taste...awful..jalfraze...what can I say a mess on a plate not inviting ...and greasy.. . …

We've used AllSpice for years. We did have a blip with the change of ownership but have returned. Food always hot (in physical temp!), service is fab, friendly staff and dishes are less oily than other take aways. Love that a Madras has a good amount of heat bit not too hot and the Keema Naan is amazing. More

I love this Indian take away. I moved from Brislington to Knowles a couple of month ago and I am ready to do the extra miles to go to this Indian take away. They give me extra food like poppadoms or onion badji. They also won prices like Best Indian takeaway 2017.

  • Steven Atkinson

The chicken Bombay madras was tremendous. Best curry I've had in Bristol and beats most curries I had in India recently.

Fantastic. A great takeaway; really tasty Indian with decent size portions. Free delivery around the local area (wide local). Friendly staff. They have their own ordering site, so no just eat rubbish! One of the best Indian Takeaways I have ever had.

  • Pete

Absolutely stunning Indian food. We had Popadoms, starter, curry, rice and naan and what an absolute delight. Tasty, fresh and worthy of 5 stars. You will not get a better meal in a 5 mile radius- believe me, I have tried and ther is NO competition.

  • Kamp Hill

Ate from here due to an abundance of great reviews. Wasn’t very impressed. The food was generic and not much different to any other high street takeaway. Worth a try once. But not award winning in the slightest. Everything seemed overly sweetened

  • Bex Appeal

Absolutely loved every dish I had here. I recently moved to Portishead and this is something I miss because the dishes served in the takeaways here are well below par and certainly not a patch on Allspice! Pity they don't deliver to BS20!!

  • Susie Winters

Being a London girl, it took me a few years to find a good Indian in South Bristol. The staff are lovely, food is traditional English curry choices, but of a great flavour and I do love their chapatis.

  • Charlie Fox

Friendly, fast, affordable and delicious!! Will definitely be ordering from here again. Staff were lovely and service was quick. Lamb bhuna and chicken passanda were fantastic and full of flavour.

  • Ashley Scott

Food always amazing, always fresh, always delivered on time, always really courteous and accommodating. Can't recommend highly enough. Best Indian takeaway in Bristol in my opinion. …

  • Alex Wills

Very good range and consistent quality. No artificial colourings. Friendly staff and good value. My favourite dishes are the wonderfully hot Naga Chicken and Chicken Ceylon.

We searched for a long time to find an Indian worthy of our business. From Experiencing the Best in Birmingham, This Is We'll Up To The competition. Recommended

  • Erin Moir

The food was very oily. Our drinks were forgotten and absolutely no cheese in our naans. First and last time ordering from All Spice. Very disappointing.

  • Rebecca Adcock

My favourite Indian around. Nice delivery guys and good portions. Lovely flavoured food without having your taste buds spiced off. A***
