If prefer give 0 star. I sold my house in Sep. and apply to terminate my house insurance. The representative requested some documents and asked me send to his company email. He said will call me back after he got my email. And I did. But No response for one and half months. And I call them again, the second representative said the email address I send to he can’t open and ask me to email him the documents one more time. I did. Almost another month after that, I got a email back said the lawyer letter I submit only list the date of sale was”Sep 23” and said “transaction has been concluded”. It’s not acceptable by their billing department because it didn’t show clearly the closing date. OK, FINE, I asked my lawyer send me another sale prove letter showed clearly the closing date. And I send to Allstate again right away. And now . Another 3 weeks passed. Still no response and they keep taking money from my bank account even I already sold the house 3 months ago. Stay away from Allstate. Allstate just like taking money from you, they don’t want to end any policy. Even you requested termination, they just not do it and keep taking money.

My sister works in insurance and she recommended I went with a broker to get a quote. I randomly was transfered to Maveen Kaura. I was with TD for nearly a decade so I guess I had been conditioned to expect mediocrity and indifference. Maveen knocked my socks off right from the start. This guy actually cares. He did not hesitate to move heaven and earth to get me THE best deal possible. He is a very patient person. A true professional within his field. For instance: He asked me to get a driver history from my previous insurance companies (Intact, TD). Something NO ONE had ever even bothered to ask me for... So, ok. I figured I'd give this guy a little more rope. Every little request I did to him. He would get it done. Different quotes for different cars and homes with different scenarios. Maveen never hesitated or waivered and each time he would make every effort and advise to make sure I got the best possible deal. This is it guys! Someone that genuinely cares! He got me a kick a$$ deal for my car that I ended up switching my home insurance as well. 10/10 recommend !

In June 2023 I was rear ended by a STOLEN City bus here in Calgary, Alberta. I had put in a claim and was told that my car was a write off and I would be getting a rental car. And 2 months went by absolutely nothing happened. I have been switched around to 5 different Allstate employees to “escalate” the situation so that I can get a car on the road and compensation for losing months of work and my car plus injuries. Still nothing at all has happened, I have even been sent to the manager whom has neglected to contact me back after I have called several times and left many voicemails. This company is that absolute worst I have dealt with not one person has done their job. I have now been without a car since June 2023 when they said they would send someone to appraise my vehicle and help me. Of course that never happened. I will never be coming back to Allstate as they have completely failed at their jobs. 0 Stars!

If I could give 0 stars I would. Apart from dirty tricks and ridiculous, no reason/ no warning policy changes we recently really needed them Allstates help... Dec 20, 2022 was when we had an incident. I heard from the adjustor for the first time yesterday Feb 01, 2023. DO NOT USE THEM. It took calling 25 different people to get my adjusters name (after they gave me an adjustor in the wrong province). I left 6 voicemails and send 4 emails to my adjustor. Every single person I was put in contact with was completely unhelpful. would only give me an employee number for the underwriter at this location. Allstate is expensive and they DO NOT CARE.... NOT AT ALL. I cannot stress enough how much they don't care.... Infact I'm waiting on a call from the southland location right now that I'm pretty certain will never come. I can't wait for them to be in my rearview.

I have been dealing with Maveen Kaura recently with the renewal of my Property Insurance. Maveen set up the initial insurance last year when the property was purchased. The property is a rural acreage and poses many types of issues not related to a city dwelling. Maveen spent a lot of time reviewing the issues and investigating any and all question that we had. He made sure that he understood all the nuances of rural coverage requirements. Maveen is a professional, courteous and extremely knowledgeable individual. In working with Maveen I truly believe that he cares about the clients needs personally and professionally. I would and will recommend his services to anyone looking into Insurance services. Great at first, then a nightmare. I switched to Allstate this year and was impressed with the rates available for house and vehicle insurance. Dean has been a pleasure to work with and for the most part has promptly answered all questions I've had. Fast forward 6 months, we had to submit a claim for hail damage on our house. I could not imagine a more frustrating experience. It took multiple calls to the claim supervisor to get our claims adjustor to contact us after waiting a month and a half after the inspector had come by. My faith in Allstate is pretty much zero at this point, and I anticipate more even more headaches. Unfortunately I do regret switching to Allstate and would recommend others to beware.

A very bad insurance company and not worth even one star. On my own experience, being in Canada for only 2 months, I was convinced of this, and I especially want to note the incompetence of a specific employee - "Jesse Campbell", who caused all further problems for us by specifying one price at the meeting ....and twice as much came to be paid!!!!, then there were talks about closing this insurance..... about which we were not informed either in writing or by phone call...., and not knowing this I was driving without insurance!!!! now I received another bill that I have to pay for closing this insurance. A complete negative!!!!

Stephanie is a very informed on insurance. She is very caring. She is great at explaining insurance in a way I can understand. I have never had an agent sit down with me in person to explain all the details. This is the first time I have ever understood insurance this well. She follows up by email, or phone. She is very easy to get in touch with if I have any questions. I have never been this impressed with my insurance agent and the company she works for. She was able to save me money, my partner and my mother as well. We are all very happy with our insurance! Thank you very much Stephanie Gordon!

I have been a customer of Allstate now for over 10 years, and the only reason I stay is because of the excellent service and communication with Stephanie Gordon. Honestly I had to move away from Allstate a few years ago to TD because my premiums went up, but after I was connected with Stephanie Gordon, I haven't had a better experience with renewing my policies since. She is consistent at getting back in a timely manner, friendly and has helped out not only myself, but family and friends. I highly recommend asking for her specifically for signing up and renewals.

I have been insured by Allstate for 15 years and aside from a few small auto claims nothing major but since the July 2021 hail storm I have been having nothing but issues, both with how they are trying to settle my claim and terrible communication skills on behalf of my advisor absolute refusal to schedule a call to discuss my concerns no reply when call back is requested and trying to force me to use a sub par contractor that wants to do a partial repair. Rates have been going up and service is going down I definitely don’t feel like I’m in good hands

This company is very frustrating to deal with. They send us a cheque showing our name incorrectly and requested a new one but until now it hasn’t arrived. Been emailing and calling the claim adjuster to follow up but no response from her. At least if they could give us an update, I would probably appreciate and wait patiently. Now we can’t pay the contractors for the repairs since we haven’t receive the payment. Put your feet to someone else shoes. We’ve been waiting for almost 2 months for the claim to be completed.

Overall they prices are good, but service, not great at all. I’ve never heard of a company charging an NSF on a credit card. Or, if you realize it might not go through on that card and call to charge the payment on another card, the same day, they won’t take a payment. My bank has never heard of such a thing. Instead, you have to wait while they charge you $50, even though you were ready to make the payment. They say this is because of their system, yet they say I could call a few days earlier. Makes zero sense

I cannot recommend Maveen K from Allstate down at the Mcleod Trail location enough. We recently arrived from Australia and Maveen took a lot of time to decipher a large amount of driver and insurance history to get us a great deal on the policy for our new car. He took the time where other providers did not and we saved thousands of dollars in the process. Without hesitation I will engage Maveen for our next insurance product as I know he will get us a great quality deal that works and is cost effective.

I worked with Tony who went above and beyond to provide excellent customer service and helped me get the most competitive policy with the coverage I needed. He was always responsive to emails or text and answered any questions I had. I was more than happy to stay with allstate as Tony really worked hard to make sure I got what I wanted from my policy. I cannot recommend his services enough!

I received a cold call from Business agent Maveen Kaura over a year ago and sparing a few minutes of my time for him to review my home & auto needs was the best decision I made. That decision saved me a lot of money while giving me excellent coverage. A few months later the hail storm hit our area in Calgary and Maveen was there to answer my questions. Allstate came through with flying colors. I found Maveen most helpful and quite thorough.
