First and foremost, thank you for your level of assistance and professionalism in making my birthday party amazing. I still have loads of people telling me the party was sooo fun. The cocktail bar gave the party a special element, that people weren't expecting. As for Jimmy..... that man is awesome! He came a few hours earlier than booked and set up with a good amount of time. He was so helpful and friendly. What I loved about him was that, if ever there were things that we were missing, or things that were needed, he didn't add stress upon my already hectic load, but was creative and took initiative in making things work. He had an amazing attitude, and everybody that was served by him thought he was great. I would recommend Alterego and Jimmy to anyone looking to hire a portable bar. It was well worth my money and more.

Booked a karaoke room here for a group of 8 and it was a fantastic night! Very easy to book and friendly customer service over the phone to confirm the booking. On the night we arrived to a busy bar but we were made to feel very welcome and were shown to our own private room where the lovely barmaid took our cocktail orders and delivered them to the room as well so we didn't have to keep going back downstairs. It was £25 per person which is an amazing deal as we each got 3 cocktails included, and they are properly made cocktails that taste delicious :) Very easy to use karaoke set up with loads of different songs to choose from. Can highly recommend and will definitely be going back for more!

We hired in Nigel and his team for the wedding of our daughter and were very pleased with what they provided. They got in the beers we wanted turned up and set up the day before the event taking away the stress. The 2 bar staff on the day were excellent (sorry guys didn't get you names) they were helpful, friendly and worked their socks off all day- and then cleared the whole thing away leaving no trace they had been there! And the drinks prices were reasonable especially the cocktails. I booked the whole of Alterego for my wedding due to having a high volume of family and friends coming from many areas! Due to the venue being just out of the city centre we thought it would be very convenient and easy for people to find. Nigel that works there could not do enough for us and answered any questions I had straight away. All the staff there were so friendly and helpful and the venue was perfect and absolutely everybody had an amazing night! Could not thank you enough guys! :) Will recommend you to anyone! I think my sister will be booking you next year for her 21st birthday!

This place is the best, be it for football, cocktails, parties or even catering for other events. I have been meaning to post my best wishes to Nigel, Mike, John and the team (yes, even you Jimmy) for many years, now I have !! You can book a room, book a floor, book a floor and a room all for free, book catering, the list goes on and on, but everything this place does - it does well. We recently hired the AlterEgo mobile bar for a charity event and Nigel and his team did such a fantastic job. They couldn't have been more helpful or friendly and I can honestly say that without them the event wouldn't have been the success that it was. Everyone commented on how good the service was and the drinks were very reasonably priced, especially the delicious cocktails. Thank you so much! I will definitely use them again.

This venue was absolutely amazing! The staff were all super friendly and welcoming. My party didn't start until the evening but they were super laid back about me going in early afternoon to decorate the room. I thought it was a lovely touch that you can have a slideshow up of your own pictures and that the disco lights were there if you needed them. Would highly recommend to anybody that was thinking of holding a party here!

Went in for our friend's 30th, our friend was sent up the top of the stairs to the wrong place and then had to go back down wearing 5" heels, she's not the best walking in them as it is and fell down. She speaks with a thick northern accent and the manager accused her of being drunk and threw her out. Our entire party had to leave. Our friend had had 3 drink in 2 hours after having travelled down from Birmingham.

Was in for an early afternoon pint by myself.. and really enjoyed it.. It was my first time I'm Bristol for over 15 years and my phone was dead.. The man working was really accommodating and the place was very comfortable and clean.. really enjoyed it ☺️ Sounded like the other people in there enjoyed the Kareoke the night before too would highly recommend ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Had my 35th birthday here and it was an amazing experience! Excellent facilities and superb drink deals. The staff bent over backwards for us, nothing was too much trouble. My wife had her hen party here doing one of their cocktail master classes and had a fantastic time- this gave us the idea of hiring their function room. 10/10 would definitely recommend.

Really fun place to spend an evening out, I recently went to a surprise birthday party for a family member here and every staff member was very helpful, we even left some stuff there which they kept for us to pick up a few days later, reasonably priced drinks considering there location on whiteladies road! A must visit!

Could not have imagined a friendlier, more flexible and professional venue. They were extremely helpful, at relatively short notice, catered exactly to our needs and budget. The student discount didn't go amiss either! The event we hosted was a complete success, and will certainly consider coming back for Round 2 :)

Totally amazing experience!!!! Nigel was totally amazing really made it a hen do!!!! Great service and totally good value for money. We ended up having less people taking part than expected however Nigel phoned ahead and got us a table reserved and money behind the bar. Would highly recommend for any occasion.

They are amazing, they rock up, set up and are professional and friendly. They bring a well stocked bar at very competitive prices. They ran the bar for my wedding and was the one part of the reception i didnt have to worry about. I recommend them to anyone who needs a well run bar for any event.

Often pop in after work for a cocktail or a pint. Great atmosphere even when its busy, staff are friendly and make a great mojito! I love the split level and the function room is great, has its own bar which meant my party didn't have to split up, will be booking it again for the 'big one'.

What a brilliant bar. Went here on nye and had such a good time. Have been there quite alot previous to nye. Is a really good sports bar, drinks choices are ace. General clientele in there is friendly and you can have good banta with the staff. They have an upstairs area as well.

Went in here to watch the footie recently. They've got some crazy foreign TV channels which allow them to tune into 3 o'clock kick offs, occasionally in HD with english commentary too! A very studenty bar, but friendly staff and in a good location.

My happy place. This place is literally nirvana on Super Sunday. Me and my amigos drink away our hangover and eat our body weight in thick-cut crisps every weekend without fail. I only wish this place had wifi so I could reside here permentantly.

Went here for a birthday party on the 29th January. Bought cocktails and was charged full price. Their menu states that up to 1900hrs cocktails 2-4£12. Mentioned this to the barman and he said stopped that years ago. Showed him the website

Nigel brought his cocktail making class to a property we had rented for a hen weekend. Absolutely brilliant fun. He is a master at keeping a bunch of women in check, whilst keeping it hilariously funny! We had a blast. Highly recommended.

Such a great atmosphere for sports, cocktails, a chilled drink, bit of comical karaoke and generally a good night out. The guys are such a laugh and really have the place thriving for all types of drinkers! Always a great night in Ego's!

Great service and a nice marquee out the back to keep you dry from any passing storms that may be coming overhead. Play sport if you like that or can have a quiet pint outside. Well worth a stop off when walking down Whiteladies Road.

I visit Alterego on average 3 times a week. It is a lively bar and well worth a visit. It is a great sports bar with at least 10 screens showing key events. It is very popular for social events such as cocktail clinics and parties.

Nigel attended our hen party at Woodlands Farmhouse, the group absolutely loved the two hours of cocktail making. Nigel brought out the competitive streak in all of us whilst having a really good time, would definitely recommend

Good place for watching sports. Out of the three bar staff I met, two of them were really friendly. Drinks aren't cheap, but there is a happy hour which runs until 7pm during the week where I think the drinks are 1/3rd cheaper.

Went here for karaoke and was not disappointed.. super lively place and the karaoke room was nice. Great choice of songs, and the bar staff were also really nice! Definitely the place to go for karaoke on a night out in Bristol

I had my wedding reception here. Hired a couple of the rooms upstairs. Staff were really helpful when organising the evening, alway quick to respond to emails. Food served was great. Would definitely recommend. Thank you!

Hands down my favourite bar in Bristol. The staff are delightful, especially Matthew- who never fails to make my day with a cheery hello and quick jokes. The atmosphere is amazing, couldn't recommend this place enough

Been a regular for many years!! Great atmosphere and fantastic service.. The karaoke room is superb, I wouldn’t bother ringing the other places in Bristol that try to attempt it, they don’t come close to Alterego!!

Alterego is a great night out.. Bar staff are efficient and friendly, there's a great atmosphere and it's great for a party as well... I would definitely recommend it for a drink after work as well as a night out..

Nice little bar with friendly service and a good selection of rums. A lot of places still don't serve Wray & Nephew, but these guys have it, so I was set. I'll probably go back next time I'm in Bristol.

Visit fairly regularly and really enjoy evenings here. Great bar, efficient staff and nothing to grumble about! Ability to hire the upper rooms very useful and good fun with private parties.

Been here quite a few times with friends for a catch up drink! It's a smart looking bar and the staff are pretty chill. As you would expect it does get busy but drinks are reasonably priced

Great sports bar with a different twist. Not your usual standard sport bar. A lot more interesting and classier than usual. Staff were great too. Top spot for drinks and sport.

Hosted my Daughters 30th surprise party, the staff were great, so helpful and friendly couldn’t do enough for us. Great venue good location would highly recommend this place.

When its not a nightclub they do great coffees! Takeaway window and they do loads of must try flavours. Black forest latte, strawberry choco mocha and many more.

Went to a private party here you can hire part of the downstairs bar. Good evening had by all , drinks were a bit expensive usual price for that area I suppose
