Alto service is very disappointing. I received the medications and after I opened the box, the medications are very hot. Apparently the driver had the medications in the sun or in the car in the high temperature for a long time. I was really worried that the medications went bad and called Alto for replacement right after I received the medications. It was 2.30pm local time when the sun was the strongest. However, they just declined my request and told me that the medication are still good for use when they are very hot. I asked them what's the temperature range for medication to stay good. Then the pharmacist told me it needs to stay below 86 degrees and she said because my area high air temperature is 70 so the medications are good. However, it is common sense that it only takes half an hour for the inside temperature in a car to get to 104 degree on a sunny 70 degree day. Also, it is easy for the surface of the medications to go above 100 degrees when exposed in the sun through the car window for a while. I don't understand why a pharmacist would use air temperature to say the medications are good for use. Plus, the temperature for a healthy person is 98.6. When I touched the medication boxes, I felt the medications are very hot, indicating the medications are more than 100 degree. Then the pharmacist was telling me if you put your hands above stove, your hands will get burned. I was like?? Of course your hand will get burned above the stove, it is fire. Moreover, I checked the manufacturer website and the medications labels that majority of the medications I received actually need to be stored below 77 degree instead of 86 that the pharmacist told me. The entire process is so disappointing and irresponsible. I have purchased medications many times from Alto and this is the first time I am requesting for a replacement but they just declined it.

Wow how the service has declined RAPIDLY in the last few months. They used to respond to messages on the app or answer calls right away. Not sure whats happening here but theyre completely neglecting their business. I have been trying to reach a supervisor for four days (they told me one would get back to me in 24 hours) regarding their agents unwillingness to order a medication for me so it would arrive ontime when it was due. They declined to do so and I went several days without my medication until another agent actually did their job and ordered the medication for me. My friends medication recently never arrived from them either. And now I am on hold for them and it says wait times are 2000 minutes!!!! I have gone from #5 in queue to #11, to #17. How is that even possible?!?!?!? they havent responded to my app messages in 3 days when they say a response will come within one day, and they used to respond within a few hours. Something BAD is going on there that is impacting people's health and I recommend picking another pharmacy. They dont even have a doctors line so at least doctors can get through quickly. What a shame!

Used to love alto and used them for years. Now it is the absolute worst. They constantly cancel delivery last second, take forever to answer the phone (currently on hold going on 30 min), and are unable to resolve simple problems. I am leaving the country tomorrow morning and they cancelled delivery of a critical medication at 6 pm right after I got notification it was out for delivery. This is after it was cancelled previously because the driver misunderstood directions and then automatically cancelled today end of day without any outreach. Called customer service within minutes and unable to provide any resolution. This type of occurrence happens frequently. My wife gave up on alto, and now I will too. Stay away. Update to respond to the below: the issues have nothing to do with product availability. These are scripts that get filled and then are cancelled by the driver with no recourse.

I'm giving them two stars based on convenience, but this is not the place to go if you require anything out of the ordinary. They really discourage calls and you better be tenacious because you will be on hold forever. I called and for some reason went from 6th in line to 13th. How does that even happen? They prefer to communicate through the app messaging, but they take up to a day to respond and they don't read the thread, so you can have painful conversations that involve a lot of repeating your request. Yeah they bring the stuff to your door and sometimes you get a candy, but really think about whether it is worth the stress if you need something like a vacation override or something like that.

I absolutely love this pharmacy. I started using them because of fertility medication as my insurance only works with them. However, they also carry a lot of medications that other pharmacies don't have on stock - alto was able to get it in just 1 business day! Calling them has been really easy as I never had to wait to talk anyone. everybody I talked to has been really helpful and proactive as well. you can tell they care about their customers. deliveries have been seamless and easy to schedule even for same day or next day delivereis, but I also love the option of stopping by the physical location if I am in a hurry. will continue using this pharmacy for other needs. thanks!

We had a remarkable experience wherein we required a crucial specialized medication during the weekend. Unfortunately, no other pharmacies were accessible, except for Alto in Los Angeles, which remained operational during the weekend. Consequently, we were able to promptly collect the medication within a mere couple of hours after placing the order. The personnel at Alto exhibited exceptional professionalism and offered valuable assistance. I have to say, I very rarely write reviews but Alto is deserving of every bright five star. Alto came to my rescue today after FedEx lost my package of time sensitive medications from another pharmacy. It was hand delivered to my door by an Alto carrier. The app reflected a very accurate time window with real time updates as the driver got closer in the last half hour. When your medication is MIA it's stressful. I love that Alto doesn't pass off your medicine to a second party. I will be using Alto again and again. Thank your for this reliable and user-friendly service.

My order was delivered over an hour later than delivery time-frame given which was 2pm- 6pm with no contact from driver. I received text at 2:20pm that my delivery was on way and I should receive about 30 minutes. This was so frustrating as I had to leave my event to go back home because driver left it and I live in public housing and things will get stolen. But I had left at 6:30 being late for my event. And when I finally was able to reach driver by cell he sounded like he was under the influence. This was very unacceptable customer service.

Very stressful experience! My meds were showing in the website as being delayed for 2 days for meds that I urgently needed before a 3 day weekend. I called and found that it was an insurance billing error. I asked the call center about this and she said there's no process where this gets flagged in their system for follow up. They need to add a way to proactively provide clients with information if they run into insurance issues because currently the app and website don't provide any info about the cause of delays.

I really like using Alto. Instead of calling pharmacies like Walgreens, CVS etc to see if my prescription is in. This is a one stop shop for everything - if there's a delay then you get an updated delivery date and you're good to go. You can use your FSA dollars on the app to pay for your prescription and then tip (if you want) with a personal card. Alto's business model is something I've been waiting for - quick, efficient, and amazing customer service. 10/10 recommend.

What an incredible experience. I ordered my prescription at 4:45pm and was delivered about 5 minutes ago. It came in a sealed bag and my prescription was between neatly rolled and secured bubble wrap with an ice pack because the medicine needed to be refrigerated. Additionally, they provided all the medicine instructions and a candy caramel to boot. Simply fantastic. I am getting my other prescriptions together to transfer over immediately. This service is invaluable.

Super nice delivery person - love having delivery to home ! BUT, the prescription was wrong. I have no clue as to why.... Nothing to do with the delivery person... Just concerning when it comes to what you are supposed to get. Thankfully this was not urgent medication. UPDATE - Called in and resolved the issue. Person on phone was very helpful and resolved the issue. Currently have been using the service for months and am happy with the free home delivery.

They don't answer their phone. This service is a good idea, if you never ever need to speak with your pharmacist or a pharmacy aid. I have waited over two hours on hold before giving up trying to speak to a pharmacist. Also, there is a drug shortage and they are low o. The distribution pecking order. They don't get the scarce drugs and you don't find out until delivery time when your medication doesn't show up.

The Alto delivery tracking told me 2 min and I came out of the house and been waiting in the dark. I waited and I had a notification stating the item is delivered showing a door which i don’t recognize! You already took money out of my account before even delivering it. Please review this or refund back my money. They even tried telling me to get the package myself if I recognize the door. Worst service ever!

Alto is the best even if my insurance doesn’t work with Alto! When I pay out of pocket in Alto, it’s much cheaper than what my specialty pharmacy charges my insurance. They deliver within the same day and their customer service is amazing. Their online portal also makes it very easy to refill, schedule delivery… I highly recommend Alto specifically if you’re trying IVF and need the fertility medications.

It used to be that delivery was free of charge I would like to know why there is now a delivery fee of $9.99. In the event that this will be charged in future deliveries, I will have to transfer my medications to my pharmacy who does not charge a delivery fee, regardless of whether the order is being delivered the same day or the next.

The prescription came, but it was delivered to the wrong apartment. Also, the delivery person took a photo at the outside entrance to the building, not the apartment door. I made the delivery instructions perfectly clear that nothing was to be left just sitting at my door. It has to be handed only to me. That did not happen.

Pretty good experience with alto 2 months in a row amidst nationwide shortages. Last month was only delayed 2 days from the original scheduled delivery. When scheduling my refill, I was quoted April 4th as soonest ETA.. recieved a message yesterday morning saying they were able to move my delivery up. No complaints.
