My husband and I walked into the bakery looking for something to help my sweet tooth craving. The smell in the shop was devine and I was so excited to get one of the pastries or cakes. When we asked if one of the pastries was lemon, the worker stated "no habla english" even though we said the word lemon which is the same in Spanish and English. She then simply ignored us so we walked out without purchasing anything. I felt like I was of the right ethnicity so my business was not welcome there.

horrible i ordered a designed cake for my nephews birthday and all they gave me was a mess ! They printed out the exact photo of an example of the design that I wanted and just put it on top it was literally another photo of a cake on top of the cake didn’t even add the cars and when I went to get a refund the employee didn’t even apologize or nothing they didn’t care at all horrible !

Entré aquí para comprar un poco de pan. La chica que estaba trabajando tenía una actitud desagradable, cuando le pregunté por qué tenía una actitud, ella dijo con una actitud "No tengo una actitud". Todo el tiempo que estuvo "ayudándome" estuvo en su teléfono. No volveré a ir aquí de nuevo.

I've been to other bakeries for Tres Leches. Then I found Alva's Bakery. I've been ordering from here every year for many years. Everyone is always pleasant and helpful! Cakes and breads are delicious! We all love it here!

We purchased a white gluten free cake with whipped cream and fruit.. It had strawberries and peaches on top and the middle layer was pineapple. Fantastic cake!

La persona que atiende , un señor calvo, tiene una actitud muy hostíl. Uno hace preguntas y el señor contesta de mala gana. Prefiero ir a otra panadería.

Amazing place. Crazy good prices. Staff is all Spanish speaking. But can do enough to help English speaking patrons. Definitely recommend it

We love Alvas bakery. I don't know what it's called but they have a bread stuffed with cream cheese and jalapeno that's amazing.
