I took the Columbia River Gorge Waterfalls afternoon tour last Monday. The tour guide alone was worth the price of admission. Jeffrey was friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Great thing was I was able to pick his brain about other wonderful locations on the Portland area and beyond. He willingly helped with photo ideas and opportunities and made everyone feel at home. The tour was 3.5 hours long, but it didn't feel that way. Along the tour, we got to visit 4 waterfalls: Multnomah Falls, Latourelle Falls, Horsetail Falls, and Shepherds Dell Falls. At each stop, ampil time was given to explore at your leisure. The last stop was the Columbia River Gorge Vista House which offered stunning views of the Columbia River and Washington state to the north. At both Multnomah Falls and the Vista House there were gift shops for momentos. If you have the time hive this tour a shot. Thank you Jeffrey and Portland Local Tours for this tour. They do offer options for a tour of the Oregon coast and Mt Hood as well.

Mt. Hood Day Trip from Portland to Multnomah Falls and Hood River Private Tour We took this as a private tour and the value delivered far exceeded the cost. We saw far more than we would have had we been doing this on our own (and would not have made it to Timberline Lodge as we are not accustomed to driving on snow). Being that it was during the week and not during the peak season, it was not very crowded. Being a private tour, there was greater flexibility and efficiency. And then there was our guide, John, who raised the quality of the tour experience to a level far exceeding our highest expectations. John is very friendly and personable, incredibly knowledgeable of the history of the area, and truly passionate about what he does. We could not have asked for a better touring experience. The next time that we are in Portland, we shall do another of their private tours and hopefully be John’s guest once again.

We booked an 8.5 hrs Sightseeing tour from America's Hub World through TripAdvisor 2 weeks prior to our visit and were so excited before we started calling them to confirm our reservation and talk about our pick up location 5 days before our visit - there's answering machine every time we call, we left a bunch of messages asking to call back - nothing, so we had to cancel this tour to not lose our money. We received receipt by Email, we received an email with our tour details, but couldn't contact the operator by phone. It even says in the instructions in Email that we have to contact the tour operator by phone to make sure everything goes smooth. Well, it didn't for us. Now we have only 2 days left for our travel to Portland and have to figure out what to do. We're very upset, but you might get lucky, who knows. Seems like other people loved it.

Took the Columbia River Gorge tour today. Tom was our guide, he was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, considerate and accommodating! Never felt rushed and he went out of his way to make it a memorable experience! Next time I am in Portland I look forward to booking with America Hub again and trying a new tour, I will hope to request Tom again as our guide. He is an asset to the company and a testament to the wonderful people of Portland!

I had a full day loop tour around Mt Hood today. Honestly, it was really enjoyable. It was laid back but, the guide, John, was super informative and entertaining. I was traveling solo and when I do, I try to do as much as I can and with his tips I was able to see a lot more than I expected in a day. Definitely recommend.

The guide was excellent. He listened to everyone's preferences, and went out of his way to ensure all were satisfied with the tour and the choices made. He was very knowledgeable of the area's history.

First time visiting Oregon and went on the Oregon coast tour with the guide Gunnar. I apologize if I spelled his name wrong. He was very friendly, funny, and knowledgeable. Highly recommend!

I called looking for something else but the guy who answered was very nice! I would recommend these people for their customer service …

They don't provide car seats for kids. Strange since other places do provide this to customers.
