I heard Amtrak is "notoriously" late..the overhead a announcer was loud, it would disturb my peace, but, I wear earplugs regularly..but besides that, it seems to be a great value for travelers. It's affordable, the seats are wide and lay back quite a bit, enough for a nnap.slso, better than a bus, smoother, scenic, no hassle of air travel, no one scanning you. Lastly, although seats are assigned upon boarding, no one prevented me from moving around. There are sleeper cars for a fee and dining area..not healthy food necessarily as it's prepackaged pizzas, hot dogs, sodas..(high sodium, nitrites, preservatives) but I think I saw salads. Anyway, Amtrak is a great option for travelers.

Highly recommended that everyone ride Amtrak at least once in their life! Had to visit my sister in Apollo Beach! This was the first time I had ever utilized Amtrak; wow, was I surprised! Left on time and arrived on time! I had to extend my stay a few extra days, ticket office personnel was very accommodating! I will be riding Amtrak again! Guaranteed! Thanks Amtrak! Keep up the great work!

I wish I could say something positive, but I made a reservation the same day to catch the 12:45 to Miami that day, and got there about 11:45 and was asked if I got the msg the train would be delayed...asked how long the delay was...4.5 hours!! I ended up renting a car and driving down...the idea of taking the train is much better than actually doing it.

My husband and I want to sincerely thank RANDAL (on his name tag) the conductor. The personnel are so very nice. Randal personally brought my purse to me when he got off of train at Richmond. We got off of train #94, October 10. I left it on the floor at my seat because we had luggage to deal with. (Good excuse as any) ha

If you like the look of train stations this is a nice one. However, you can tell that there was effort to make it look like the neighborhood use to be. I do love the use of the iron work. This is a shared station so not only does Amtrak use the station but there's a local commuter train called Sun Rail, I think.

Clean, pleasant and comfortable building where you can purchase tickets, heck baggage or just make reservations. Air co ditioned inside. Outside is attractive too. The employees are quick and really nice and they are Knowledgeable agents that have always answered all my questions. Taking the train is fun again!

Oh my goodness where do I start I guess because the ticket $45 I guess that means train supposed to be dirty as hell even though they have people cleaning crew is rude inpatient I'd rather just pay the extra money and take a flight to be honest my first experience and I really don't want to experience again

Wish I could have found more info online before my trip..like bring a blanket for a 15 hr trip...it was freezing in the car. Also. Small coolers ok, etc. Accommodations were great. Some staff better than others.

Very disorganized! Delayed over an hour and a half and no one can decide how to board or get off. Not what I am used to in California Amtrak stations. I would not do this again if processes are not improved.

The ticket agents were very helpful. I wanted information about taking a trip on the train. They not only answered all of my questions, but also provided answers to questions I hadn't thought to ask.

Amtrak does not have reliable service, their trains are old and they will jack the price of your ticket way up if you don't buy it in advance which is very irritating.

This people are so awesome, Excellent service, we are over 60 and this guy's went out of they way to helps us every way they could. I will recommend "Amtrak"100%".

Union station train station. Not very modern but functional. No free wifi os available. There is a place to charge phone and purchase quick snacks.

The Jacksonville terminal ticket office was very clean. The staff was very attentive and friendly. All-in-all, a very positive experience.

Small train station for a large city like Tampa. Usually we need to go to Orlando and from there to connect to other trains...
