I was looking for an approachable fixer with promise to appreciate steadily in Southeast Portland - on our first tour together it was clear that Andy was ready to go at my speed, and take the time to explain the mysterious ways of home-buying as we went along. Over the various tours we took, he pointed out features and opportunities that were in line with my preferences and helped me steer clear of homes with not-so-obvious red flags. The knowledge Andy brought to my search was truly impressive - from spying sneaky DIY additions to identifying key period-specific architectural elements, my eyes were opened to things I'd never have noticed! Andy is fantastic and I can't imagine getting into Portland without his help. After a long, patient search (Covid, job change, etc.), Andy helped me land a great condo in the Pearl District after looking for almost two years. While Portland is a great place for a single family home, my partner and I wanted a a modern condo and not every agent has the experience in both areas, but Andy knew all the buildings, what the neighborhood was truly like, the benefits of certain areas/buildings within the Pearl, etc. Beyond that he was amazingly patient, super friendly, always available and helpful (twice we flew up to visit on short notice to look at places and Andy had everything set up instantly. Once I was able to make an offer, his advice was excellent and he was super communicative on all fronts with documents, feedback from the seller's agent (when there were unforeseen issues with the loan) and was an unbelievable intermediary in crunch time (closing is always stressful). Karen and I love Andy as an agent and person and could not recommend him more highly.

Andy is a hustler. I can't think of a time where my wife and I didn't receive a response from him within minutes. Whether it was a silly question from rookie home buyers like ourselves or us asking for advice on next moves, Andy always had us covered. We instantly felt at home with him and his process. Never overbearing and let us go at our own pace. That said, the market was kind of weird during COVID-19 times but he was down to adapt to all the constantly changing guidelines and kept us feeling safe during showings. He's super responsible in our world's new "normal". Forever grateful that we found him. If we need to buy/sell another house, he's for sure the first I'm going to call.
