I would like to say thank you to the work placement team and the lecturers at Anglia Ruskin University London. it is a really great place to study. the first time when I arrived in the UK, I was a bit lost, culture shock, missing home, and did not know what to do as that was my first time here in the UK. But all the team in Anglia Ruskin London helped me a lot. When I firstly joined ARU London.I was desperately looking for a part time job in order to improve my English and to build my confidence level then I found out that there is a career centre and work placement team in Anglia Ruskin London Campus. I straightaway managed to get an interview with the team. They were really approachable and helpful in guiding and preparing me for real world. They managed to get an interview at Premier Inn, which is the largest hotel group company in the UK. Afterwards I have been offered a part time as a reception associate. Regularly they have employers visits where the students get the opportunities to meet the employers to secure their placements and part time job opportunities during our studies. The work placement team helped to get an internship in one of the prestige law firm, where I was eventually offered full time job when I will graduate. I am really thankful for all the team in Anglia Ruskin London and do not regret that I had chosen this place to study where I actually applied my possessed knowledge during my study into practice. I am really grateful for their support and help they provided me. Best Wishes, Khayrullo Abdullaev

A very excellent university. it is definitely worth the price. Continuous and effective support is always available anytime. Every member of staff is always eager to help and they make sure your problem or query is solved in a timely and effective manner. Resources are of great standard and the university ensures your success and are always happy to help in order for you to attain goals. All the lecturers are remarkably outstanding. The lectures are of great standard as the lecturers carry us along explaining in a clear and easy to understand manner. They are always there for any queries and issues and just to make sure everything is going smoothly. Sometimes all you have to do is ask. What I have achieved and learnt within a short time is irreplaceable. Even the most senior lecturers and dean are highly approachable and actively involved in students well being. I am highly satisfied with this university. I know I made the right choice and determined to utilise every resource to ensure success. Thank you ARU London. I would definitely recommend this university to anyone.

This is one of the great University that has excellent and professional staff, teachers and mentors, who act as leaders to build and gain confidence and courage in yourself not only in professional but also in your personal life. I have been with this University for last 2 years and I have received tremendous support from my teachers, mentors, colleagues and professionals just the way like how mother spoon feed their baby. Hence, I strongly recommend this place to everyone who are planning to go to University and those who want to build better career prospects as this Uni treats everyone with great respect and dignity. Even the people with high authority are very kind, generous, co-operative and friendly towards the student specially our Director of studies leader Daniaal Ahmed. Similarly, this year our biggest inspirational and motivational leader is Ben Warner, and last year was Ben Parkinson, and Vivek Badhwar. I am very thankful and greatful to be a part of this University. Juveliana Dcosta.

I have rated this university 1 star for the following reasons 1. The security officers are ill-mannered 2. The receptionist are inexpierenced and useless. 3. The university is small therefore it does not have a canteen (there's only vending machines) the library is so small I would not consider it to be a library, the lectures will recommended you to use on the 'online library' 4. Lectures being cancelled an hour before with very short notice. 5. Some lecturers have very strong accents, students cannot understand what's being said. 6. Lectures will probably give you a grade that's lower than what it actually should be. E.g. 69% instead of 70%. 69% gives you a first but 70% gives you a 2:1 (lower grade) 7. The university lacks faciailites for students to sit back and relax. The 'common room' is basically a computer room. I would not recommend Anglia Ruskin London to anyone.

After studying here for the last 3 years I can say that this is the type of university that is student focused as long as the students are interested in learning. Any issues that arise are fixed promptly, threreby, this may prove the leaders interest. Moreover, most of the lecturers come not only with experience in teaching, but with experience and skills in the field they teach. They have done a great job adapting to this unforseen circumstances (Covid19). Well done! The only things that may improve would be with travel bursaries that should be relatively higher, considering that London transportation is quite expensive. Lastly, the scholarships should go to the students bank account in stead of investing for the next study year, or at least make it a choice as it's their merit. Thank you for all the wonderful things that you are doing, guys! Keep doing your best!

Studying at Anglia Ruskin University London was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. The university is truly a virtuous place to learn and study. Anglia Ruskin University London is very unique; It has a combination of extremely welcoming staff and students. Staffs at the iCentre are impeccable. The lecturers are exemplary, and they are helpful and engaging. Having studied a degree in Business and Marketing and achieving a first, I can guarantee that the university will help aid everyone to further their potential. The university offers a fantastic employability service, which is very beneficial for students and Alumni as they can assist in shaping your future career. Situated in the heart of London, with great facilities, there is no place like ARUL!

The receptionist and admin staff are useless and unhelpful especially the one called orla. The admin staff do not know anything about communication with students. The admin staff is just rude and can never answer any of the question you ask them. One of the female lecturer called julia is always grumpy and moody. She gives very low marks.Through my years at the college,i have realisrr that lca college isa waste of time and resources. One of the worst collehes in uk.rubbish facilities, awful admin staff who lack respect and manners.Th the admin staff need to be trained properly on how to deal and communicate with student.questions.The external markers this year are very harsh i n that they lower the scores given by lecturer s which is disappionting. It's an excellent college in terms of quality of education, teachers are very qualified, helpful but reception staffs are very rude, unprofessional, selfish and behaviour is horrible. Need to focus on management and specially need to change their staffs behaviour. Staffs behave as terrorist, doesn't respect students at all, they are not co-operative, so selfish in nature. most of them have been recruited by reference as a result they don't care students at all. they should change their attitude and should have bit of respect for students. I prefer British white people instead of freshi. If this college change their own recruited people by British white people might be a best college in London in private sector. The total administration is rubbish.

Please think twice before joining this university, there is a reason they are ranked 118th out of 129 universities in the UK. Not only is the education you recieve essentially non-existsent, but a degree from such a low-ranking university is also worthless in the job market. I would reccomend anyone to think long and hard before considering Anglia Ruskin, trust me you are better off not even getting a degree at all, or at least stay another year in college and increase your UCAS points so you'll be allowed into a decent institution. These universities that capitalise on the government's willingness to provide a student loan to even the most incompetent students should be made illegal.

  • Elena M

That was a wrong choice of a university from my side. This is more like a political organisation, not an educational one. The studying is filled with socialist propaganda, and the lecturers have no idea about the subjects they teach. Almost everyone here are migrants from Europe and Africa, even lecturers, so classes are full of hatred towards Asia. The classes look like a very poor marketing show, where they only sell to students the feeling of being smarter and better than others. Surprisingly, students are happy with this, so the good teachers don't stay long in here, while others stay forever, as they are too low qualified to be hired by other universities.

  • Lubna Akter

I m very much grateful as a student to Anglia Ruskin University London. They are maintaining a standard system in their teaching, exam system and marking. The teachers are helpful to students. But one thing is that the students who are doing the work placement for health care course, they have poor communication with their teachers, classmates because they have no classes, even they are not getting any Christmas holiday like another students from their work placement. They have to always busy with their work placement. So it is difficult for them to pass the exam or to do the good results. So I thing the management of the University need to have a look in this matter.

Care full before you step in to this college or so called uni if you are lucky you will be seeing to rudest self concentrated immature registrar Rebecca who will not be ashamed to pass comments about your appearance same time playing with her mobile phone . Even bigger surprises you get your self ready to face when you go to admin they will treat you like as anything part of their job they are doing they are doing you as favour i guess no one told them there are on desk to help students and this what they get paid for . My experience do not make mistake to go its far far below standards shame on staff completely un professional highly rude and greedy for money

Amazing organisation and high quality of teaching and teachers, I’ve been studying for 3 years and I always thought that I made the perfect decision since the first year. ARUL have support and facilities on most areas such as; employability, health and well-being, learning resources and many more. What are your expectations?? You need to work hard to archive guys, and they help you 100% don’t expect too much if you want to be successful this is the platform, you need to obey with rules and respect the regulations. Help them to help you. Don’t just leave negative comments and rule the institution. My final year and so far so good… Thanks to ARUL Eda. K

  • Zeus Prometeu

This university is only about business for them, they took your student finance loan and do not care about their students, if something happens into your life and you have a special circumstance they won’t give you another chance on finishing your studies , they just take your money left you with a loan and don’t care about you finishing what started! It is really disparaging and as I said don’t go for it as you may get a loan for life and no studies at the end as in my case. Chased them and tried to finish my studies but I was not allowed to! Don’t lose your money and your time, better find a good one!

Worst place to study. I have no problem with ages, but this is a place for older students (25+) so it's difficult to make friends if you're younger. Their uni is not social so you will not have fun during your uni years. Also, their lectures are with seminars (3 hours long with a 10 min break)?? Their library is the tiniest thing in the world, they have no canteen and they will tell you a class is cancelled when you're on your way? Imagine the amount of money I have to spend eating in central London. Teaching style is horrible too. Such a shame I spent time here. Good riddance to bad rubbish.

  • Kim Simson

I am forced to give a star. Its just a disgrace studying in this university where faculty is BORN ENGLISH, thinking english is knowledge and not language and does not have a clue on how to respond to student issues. Very weak professor i had come across in my entire life of studies, defending himself just because he's got the authority (life & future of students). Never recommend anyone anywhere and anytime in my life. They don't care because they have students where they can make money from . (anglia ruskin, london campus)

I'vebeen trying to contact the Icentre for like a week. No one is answering the phones and the automated chat is just a huge waste of time. To answer mails it takes nearly a decade. I need to start writing my assignment and I simply can't. I can't access my Microsoft office account neither my student email. And as I mentioned no one is answering the phone. 10k a year and nothing!!! Who'll take responsibility for this? Just like always I guess, no one. The last 3 trimesters have been a huge waste of money.

  • Rodica Sovar

Anglia Ruskin has been an amazing experience. I have studied a MBA and I had the honour to learn from real entrepreneurs, angel investors and business mans not only lecturers. I would have liked to study more than one year and learn more especially about the subjects that I was really interested in, such as marketing and strategy but I would like to say a big thanks to all my lecturers and especially to Neil Jones for all his help and support during my dissertation. This is a 7 star ⭐️ experience.

  • Malik Gohar

LCA College is very good college in terms of faculty, education, but almost all students have issues with management. The management behavior with student is not good except two or three people. But when we comes to teachers they are all very good skilled and educated very friendly and they all their level best to give excellent education. I am an international student my basic objective is getting education. So, I am getting my basic objective. So, I am happy with my college.

  • Jessi Yolovska

Disorganised. They don't even know to who they are sending e-mails to. Not to mention they forget to answer. The university itself has always some problem in the building. Nothing is working, from the water to the the toilets. Every floor is dirty and the front office staff can be pretty rude and not trained to handle easy tasks. It's just a business, they are not interested at all about the student' education, but only about the money they recieve from the students. Shameful

  • Bismillah Bismillah

ARU university is literally the worst university ever. One can not say it a University or education centre but 100% a Business Centre..They’re fraudsters. Been requesting tuition fee refund , they said it takes 4-6 weeks to get . After several attempts trying to reach them, now they say we can not refund... The staffs are so rude, they talk over you without allowing you say a word, and when you finally try to talk they hang up. It’s time to proceed with legal actions.

  • Ellie P.

How is it possible in 21st century with so much chances of communication NO ONE TO PICK UP THE PHONE OF THE Icentre?! For God's sake hire more ppl to work from home to at least pick the phone. Tell me how is that normal, who is responsible for that?! U couldn't figure it out for so long now, r u serious?! Do u even care as u pretend to on ur lectures about the rating u r having Its a joke and highly not professional towards your students or potential clients.

  • symum partho

Their service is really really poor.Management is awful.Even in some cases they can not maintain the minimum standard. This is the worst institution ever I have seen.Still they have some good faculty members like Mr.(Sandie for GMM,Naidu for strategy,Bill for Project management,Andrew Johnson for CCL,Ian for Economics). However someone who I met in my last semester was so rude and disrespectful to students as well as he never appreciates international students.

  • Benjamin Joshua

Returning back to study after leaving school 20 years ago to do an MBA has been refreshing for me at ARUL. The first trimester went so quickly and successful. Settling back to University life once again has been made easy as a result of well structured course modules taught by well experienced and qualified lecturers with all supports given. And with the second semester starting in few days time I am looking forward to the new course modules.

  • Adrian Burkalov

yearly fees exaggerated for what you get in return. Students who pass exams without even setting foot in the classroom and unqualified management. I think it's a scam to attract students who have no other way to get a degree and for those people who want to steal student finance and then go back to their countries of origin in Eastern Europe or Africa. Companies shouldn't consider people walking out with a degree from this place. Fakes

  • Tobi Ajimotokin

As a graduate from Anglia Ruskin University, London, I can honestly say it was an interesting experience and definitely worth every penny. The lectures are easy to understand and also engaging. The lecturers are there to help guide you along and help achieve your goals. The members of staff at ARUL are very welcoming and try to resolve your issues in a timely manner. I’m glad to have come to this university.

  • Mihaela Petcu

Had a great time doing my degree in finance and accounting, now following with a masters in the same field. As any institution some problems might arise , but they always have been solved promptly. I would recommend this university despite the bad comments here. Never in over 3 years studying here I felt I have been ripped off. They also offer travel bursary, top achievers awards and scholarships.

  • Umran Bashir

Fantastic faculty with excellent lecturers and most importantly they are student focused. I'm a 41 year old first year student studying a BSc degree in Finance and Accounting and after being out of education for almost 20 years I was completely in awe of my lecturers. The dean is extremely approachable and is really student conscious and I have learned so much in my first year. Role on year two.

  • fawad syed

wish i could never give them a single star. Absolutely pathetic faculty except for few. Very racist towards international students and taking advantage of the english language. Never admits his mistake and said he is leaving the university cuz of the bad quality of students. A big lie on part of anglia ruskin where students are being deceived by such faculty of staff. Curse upon him!!!!!

  • sepuede poder

Worse university I had ever experienced. The staff useless, rude, and also the lecturers don’t care about, NEVER reply your emails and with your dissertation they leave you alone, not even answer your questions. Also, if you do a master don’t expect a proper diploma, just a piece of paper that you could do at home with PowerPoint. Don’t recommend this university at all!!!

  • Krys Tyna

I'll definitely not recommend this University. Had to interrupt my last year of studies due to Covid-19(I was tested positive) and even if I provided them with evidence they rejected my readmission. They discriminate people , if they like you they approve if they don't they sau it's not possible. Many students with same problem like me have been approved tho.

  • Mark Anthony Ward

Higher Education does not get more entertaining than this! Kevin O Hara and Sonia Ozkaya are brilliant lecturers, and my experience is of friendly, supportive, and capable staff. Academics are flexible, accessible, they encourage students to believe in themselves and strive for success from day one. If you really want your degree, then come here and get it!

  • Daniela Pujols (DSPP)

Very supportive staff, great teachers and students, stunning methods all around, respectful and helpful staff and friendly environment to work with your colleagues, as humans sometimes there are issues but they have a great experience and ability to manage and solve it. Hopefully our graduation will be stunning too soon!

  • Oby Grace Nneka

Very Clean Reception staff and security are kind and very helpful Staff are friendly and welcoming Very relaxed atmosphere Classrooms fit upto 30 students and have a large interactive screen for lectures. Toilets are lovely looking and very clean School has sizeable lifts which can comfortably fit a wheelchair

  • G

The female tutor that teaches us tourism ❌ the first person name starts with p & the second person name starts with an M . The attendance team, also mess your attendance up so you don’t get the bursary. My attendance keeps going down each time I attend uni instead of up which is discouraging.

  • Tahir Malik

As a graduate from anglia ruskin university. It has been a great experience studying at this establishment. Having studied finance & accounting i found the subject very well structured and organised. I would love to recommend for anyone who would like to do their bachelors in the future.

As a successful MBA student from ARU , I have developed the confidence, knowledge and skills to apply and achieved a very high leadership position in an international organisation. Thanks to the guidance, encouragement and professional support from the team of lecturers at ARU!!!

I spoke to a lovely gentleman on the phone who was very helpful. Daniaal took the effort to help me with the process, explained and advised me throughly. I had so many questions to ask him and he was so patience and took his time. Ask for Daniaal if you need any help.

  • Jono Beardsmore

Well what can I say - had the time of my life here and couldn't have achieved any of this without the assistance of the faculty team and the whole institution. I hope that one day I can give a fraction back of what they've given me - an endless pool of opportunity.

  • Francis DK

I graduated from ARU London in 2011, saw this college grow from strength to strength during my undergrad years. Since I graduated I have worked in 2 of the largest energy companies in the UK so there is no question about employability in my experience.

  • David Albert

I chose an undergraduate Health And Social Care course, and they tried go talk me out of doing it in the interview, without even giving me a chance, to do the course! And one of the arrogant interviewers rudely said that he thought that l was dyslexic!

  • Hello Me (Boss)

Wasted my time as I feel I have been scammed, even the study director could not solve my issue and charged me for a degree. I was not expecting to have so much of mis-communication throughout the 2 years of University life. Utterly ridiculous!

  • H F

Be careful with this place, some good feedbacks are written by staff members. I was studying there, the tutors with good knowledge for some reason don't last for long in this place. If you are foreign student be careful to be discriminated.

  • Jihan Ifthikhar

the services are rubbish classes being cancelled without prior notice, management is terrible feel deceived being a student of this particular college. The service was absolutely poor, waste of money. QAA should look after these colleges.

  • Suede Oasis

Beware if you are considering studying here. Anglia Ruskin London has been set up exclusively to lift money out of the pockets of foreign students. There is no concern for quality or student satisfaction, only for profit. Avoid, avoid!

  • Grace Huang

Very poor management. A lot of students absent classes. The photo showed evening classes students laughed and talked loudly half hour in front of another classroom which is during the lecture session. No staffs took action …
