Wouldnt step foot near the place again . Some of the staff there are racist, irrational, damn right rude and have no knowledge of discrimination or equality and human rights. My partner and his friends who are albanian got refused entry , when asked why they got told it was until they proved 'they were legal in this country and had papers' before this was even asked we were queing up in the line quietly & not one word was said to the members of staff working. None of us were drunk!! When we all were clearly shocked by this and angry that someone could be that rude we asked what they had done and that was discriminatory behaviour to which the bouncer said 'i dont like your attitude' changing his tune (hilarious as we hadnt spoken one word previous)& what it appears to be the manager asking us to step away as we 'wouldnt want to be in a fight with this guy' absolutely barbaric. Door men are supposed to keep you safe as a member of public not threaten us & discriminate us because of how we look and where we are born. Just to clarify my partner is legal in this country as is his friends, and evidence was provided but still not accepted. I have asked for this to be looked into and reported back from the manager to which i got told 'they have a different take than we do and it was not up for discussion' a cop out at its best, guilt and definitely not a good enough explanation of this poor, disgusting behaviour.

Avoid going here on a Saturday night in particular. For £30, I purchased 3 Double gins with lemonade for myself and my pals. I tried to explain to the bartender that my drink was not what I was looking for and if she could change it, but she was not cooperating. When I took a sip, it tasted like it was full of lemonade. I requested to speak with the manager, and once she conveyed what had occurred to him, he chose to ignore me and begin serving other customers. Immediately after he did that, I pulled out my phone and began recording what was happening. One of the owners then forcefully took my phone away and ordered security to take me outside. Security refused to take any action despite my attempts to explain the situation to him. I dropped £30 in this awful place. The most crucial step in handling a complaint well is to pay attention to what the customer has to say. Although I don't think a customer is always right but at least explain it politely. It is better to visit other locations rather than risk being scammed by these folks.

Absolute disgrace and shambles of a place. I went there last night with a few friends and one was confused with another girl who got kicked out of the place by an ape of a man they call security. I politely asked what has happened and this idiot door man just started getting embarrassingly aggressive for a simple genuine question. The manager just watched on and turned a blind eye. There was an Asian security guard who was polite and asked us to leave which we happily did. Not professional and i will be making a full complaint to the local council. Which real man tries to intimidate a man with three ladies. Absolute cretin that should spend more time in therapy than on the juice.

This place is LIVE !!! I went out to another venue then they shut and this place was open and open till 6 which honestly was the best thing ever to keep the party going. I obviously was the last man standing. The drinks selection is perfect they had some selection of rums that I can't find anywhere else. My favourite is bumble it is amazing . Also if you have never tried it try some of there popular rumballs ! Basically it's rum and red bull but they have a great selection of flavours of red bull. I will deffo be going here again

BEST BARTENDERS EVER ! They're all happy , uplifting and fast. They kept the bar clean and managed to serve a packed venue. The bouncers are also very turned on and they look like they're always ready to do their job. My favourite drink from Antix is their Mai Tai cocktail especially on the 2-for-1 . I will deffo be bringing all my friends here. I didn't realise till the end of the night that they also stock AU cans.

I was unsure about this venue at the start but I went on a Monday when they have a "queer Mondays" and I honestly LOVED IT !!! Not many people were dancing at the start but then I looked behind the bar and the little cute bartender was dancing and grooving and it honestly pumped everyone else up. I can't wait for the 70s and 80s night I think I'm going to go next week.

Amazing selection , great music that is innovative and always updating with honestly the best tunes I could think of ,I've Shazammed soo many songs from this place ,includes all walks of life ,no discrimination. I LOVE IT . Great place to start (for the 2-4-1) and obviously a great place to end your night (because there open till 6 some nights!!!)

Wasn't quite what we were expecting. My partner and I were looking for a late night bar. The bouncer was quite dismissive. Corona was overpriced and the place was absolutelt dead. There was only two other people in the venue. It was a bit awkward to be honest. We stayed around 30-45 minutes to see if the placed would liven up at all and there was only really a small trickle of males who entered. I wouldn't rush back.

Very odd experience. Claimed to be fully booked despite my group having reserved a table - once finally in after speaking to the ‘manager’ the drinks were extremely expensive and vibe extremely odd. Wouldn’t recommended for students, especially if you have a mixed group who aren’t all British. Plenty of other bars available with much friendlier and welcoming appeal Mbargos, Slug and Lettuce, Greenhouse etc.

Came for a friend's 20th birthday on Saturday. Music was great and current, atmosphere was really good, drinks were amazing and with a giant selection! Best of all, the staff working were incredibly warm and welcoming to us, and to any queries we had. All of us will definitely be coming down again sometime soon! Thanks for having us!

From a late night requirement of somewhere to go after midnight, this is open, there is music, there is drink, but there are some questionable people...!!?? Never has been nor will be anywhere near top of any of my lists of places to be at any time of the day or night. The best review I can give it is....."It serves a purpose"....!!

I've been coming to this place for past 6(!)years! But lately, there's been a very poor choice of new bouncers coming in!!Won't bother with new snowflakes there again!!and after all these years(!) it's deeply emberasing to regular people coming in like myself!!!!make sure you spread the word!such an embarrassment!!!

In the daytime there is inexpensive yet tasty food. The staff are a friendly team and the owners are truly good people. The late night scene is fun here too, if you are into such things. The bouncers manage who gets allowed in very well so you end up with a good bunch at a late night venue.

Rubbish club, rude bouncers, pompous bloke who knew the owner throwing people out for “standing in his way”, not worth the hassle. Probably the worst management and service I’ve ever seen in a club. Genuinely just don’t bother and wander up the road to lizard lounge or something instead.

They're smart as they still let people in after 2am unlike other clubs in Bristol! The bouncer was very nice and funny and made us feel welcome. The drinks are certainly not cheap unfortunately so we wish we had got there earlier for the 2 for 1 drinks offer! Will definitely be returning

We visited antix with my colleagues last Sunday on 27th of March and I must say we all were pleasantly surprised. This was not at all Antix I remember from years ago. All the staff were amazing and the Dj? Artbat on Sunday night was epic. We really had an amazing time, thank you guys!

Bouncers are rude, and and if your not an english man they pick and choose if you come in or not. And when you ask why they make out your attitude is why. When in reality their is no reason. Wouldnt set food in the place, complete flop of a club, when you treat customers bad!

Don’t go to this bar. I gave the bartender £20 for two double rum and cokes and they never served me when I questioned where my drink is the “manager” asked security to remove me security then proceeded to throw my on the floor hurting my neck

Met an amazing friendly bartender with the best hairstyle ever !!! He rocked. The music was fun and definitely unique. I was happy to start there early because it was 2 4 1.

Sam at the door was very respectful and maintained a level of professionalism and did not hesitate when I had trouble and honestly I felt a way of protection which I never felt before
