AIS (Antwerp International School) is just amazing. I am studying to be a teacher and got the opportunity to have an internship at this school. I am not a student nor a teacher there so be sure that I am writing my honest review! I have been an intern in the primary department and it is so organized and disciplined…there is a great relationship between the students with students, students with teachers, teachers with students and teachers with teachers! Following IB approach, students learn how to apply the most important and practical skills to their daily life in an inquiry and play based setting. The school is really international hosting students from all around the world which makes it a great environment for the students to improve their intercultural competences. The level of students is high considering their age and they all seem happy and satisfied. AIS was like a big family to me and I will definitely miss them all! I would choose this school for my children if I were a parent. Viva!❤️

Being a part of the AIS Community has been a wonderful and rewarding experience for our family. AIS is a culturally diverse environment which is inclusive, warm and welcoming. Staff are dedicated to their students and their individual welfare and needs. AIS has provided an excellent academic experience for our child in the form of the International Baccalaureate (IB), as well as additional opportunities for creative growth and expression through the excellent Music, Arts and Drama Department. The school also boasts fantastic Sports Facilities and staff which have helped to nurture and develop some amazing student sporting talent. ( Go Griffins!) Parents also have the opportunity to come together and make friends with a range of social activities on offer through the Parent led PTO. We are sad our time at AIS is now over but so thankful to have been a part of this very special community.

My family and I are British expats and have been living in Antwerp for almost 6 years. Our 3 boys aged 11, 9 & 6 attend AIS and it has been a wonderful experience they absolutely love the school and their teachers. As a parent I have had a very positive experience, I feel like part of the community and love getting involved with school events. This year has been my first experience as a sports parent and all I can says is GO GRIFFINS! the programme is fantastic, my 5th grader loves the variety of sports offered and the opportunity to travel around Europe. Once you are part of AIS you will never look back!

I am highly impressed by the preparation of the teachers and staff and I only commend on the problem-solving mentality, the quick responsiveness to the school's community needs and all the attention given to the single student/parent and to the groups. With respect to all academic, sport, fine arts or logistic matter the school as its establishments shows the highest commitment and a very hard work in order to make things work out in the best way possible and to make kids and families well attended and happy.

this school brings out the best in everyone. children develop as being themselves and learn how to stand strong and confident. the way the school deals with crisis situations is remarkable; clear, human, a school with compassion but also a school that keeps the focus on the education the children are getting, even when going through hard times.

a great environment to grow up in, to raise independent thinkers who learn to manage within, and run teams. Each kids grows into their own mould, filled with a wide range of academics, arts, sports, and activities like Model UN, Speech and Debate, Robotics, community service, and lots more!
