I recently visited the Apple Store in Penrith to get my back camera fixed, and I must say, the experience left me absolutely delighted! Absolutely horrible customer service. The rudest staff that is unhelpful and speak in a condescending manner. Not all (some staff here are absolutely lovely that I’ve come across) just a couple in particular that are extremely rude. The manager is just as condescending, rude and appalling. Upon asking a staff member “hi do you work here?” in a polite manner, she responded saying “yes” then turned her back to me right away which was rude and unhelpful, then as I stood there they said “I’m not wearing my uniform right now” rolling their eyes at me and gesturing in the air with their hands as if (duh are you dumb?) towards me as if I were retarded or how dare I for having asked her that simple question. I realised they had been wearing their uniform but had a jacket on top. That was a very extreme response to a very simple question. She could have simply responded by saying “yes I work here but sorry I’m not working at the moment.” There was need to be so rude and aggressive. Also a racist customer having approached me swore at me repeatedly (every swear word you can literally think of) as the staff mutely looked on not calling security and not asking him to leave. Upon speaking to the manager about these concerns he seemed very unbothered and did not follow up or apologise for their staff behaviour. As a woman I felt extremely upset, concerned for my safety, very unsafe and shocked at the horrifying behaviour and the way I have been treated at this store.

I accidentally dropped my phone and broke my phone’s screen. I went to Apple Store to fix it but found out doesn’t worth it. I bought iPhone 14. I couldn’t transfer my data from the old iPhone to the new iPhone with two attempts at home I booked the Genius Bar and next day I went to the Apple Store in Penrith which is closest Apple Store to where I live . I went there with one of my friends who worked in another branch of Apple Store for years before. The person’s name who served me was Anne. She was extremely rude at the beginning. Even though I explained to her I tried twice and I failed to synchronize my phones at home, she became more aggressive. It was horrible experience with Apple employee . I’m a loyal customer of Apple products for more than 8 years. Finally after rejecting to help me for 20 minutes and I was trying to convince her to help I told my friend when Apple sent me a satisfactory link I will give her the lowest score. She heard what I said to my friend and in a minute changed her behavior. She started talking to my friend and kept ignoring me even though I was the customer and my friend was Samsung loyal. I never had any issue in any Apple stores before. I won’t go back here anymore.

I was having a few issues with my phones performance and took it to the Apple store at Penrith to get a hand. I was promptly introduced to Amanda who was exceptionally patient and helpful. My phone decided to start throwing up some pretty whacky problems with multiple unrecognised Apple accounts. She was polite and apologetic about the situation of which she had no control and not of her doing. In the end, we discussed it would be best to completely restart the phone and back up from and iCloud back-up. I was happy with the resolution offered and left. I encountered a new problem about 30 minutes later when trying to setup my new apple watch with the new restored phone. I went back to the shop and was assisted by Anthony. Unfortunately for me, the only solution I had to correct all the problems was to start my phone from scratch. Anthony was empathetic about the situation and gave me a minute to decide my options as I was worried about losing all my messages. He was optimistic I would have my messages saved. Safe to say Anthony was right, and after a lot of effort, I had a freshly restarted phone with all my messages saved. Top tier service on both fronts.

I am very disappointed with the store service, I bought an apple airpods, and after an year it had static noise which was mentioned by apple that its a manufacturing issue and promised to replace the same. When I went to the store, the store acknowledged the issue and mentioned they would replace it and in the end they just replaced the air pods (as ear piece only) leaving the old case in which they don't fit properly and hence don't get charged nor connected. At the time of pickup I asked the team member let me test it, and she suggested "It takes time to sync and hence you wont be able to test them now in store, after few hours back home you can test it". This was complete misguidance by that employee. And I live far from the store so I re-requested I would be keen to test it in the store and she insisted on her sync story and send us away. And now even after the week the one earpiece neither works, nor gets charged as its not the right fit to the old case. I am very disappointed by the poor customer service of this store and would not recommend to trust this store after service from this incident.

Arrived 15 minutes early to my appointment, couldn’t check me until it was time, then when I was checked in waited another 45 minutes, to be told hardware issue u need a new unit which will cost u $850+. The issue is the way I was treated by the staff. I purchased a second hand X for my boys birthday, (having twins makes things quite expensive and not everyone can always afford the latest technology, especially when your buying two) and the Face ID stopped working on the phone when he did the iOS update. I tried to explain that one of the phones was fine and the other one wasn’t, she just brushed it off as if I was nothing! Again I tried explaining that everything was working on the phone, before the update, she just ignored me and made me feel bad for purchasing something 2nd hand! I was just trying to sort out the issue as it was my boy’s birthday when we went to the store. Ok the phone can’t be fixed so she says, but there is a way of how you should treat people and she certainly need a lesson in that!

My phone kept switching on and off randomly. I haven’t dropped it in water . Took it to Apple in Penrith . The technician looked at it connected it to her testing device . After like 10 minutes . She said to me charging port is corroded from water damage ?your options are buying a new upgraded phone or getting the same model for $898 dollars . I told the lady I have surgery next week . Meaning I don’t have spare funds to use and I desperately need the phone to work as the hospital will call . Anyways I left Apple store and took the phone to the mobile repairer near by . The guy opened the phone . Told me there is no water damage but the battery is dead. This making more sense to me as I charge my phone multiple times a day in my car as I use Apple car play ) I paid a small fee and got my battery replaced . My phone works . I would say I am disappointed by Apple but honestly I am not surprised by their lies

I went to this Apple store because my Apple Watch would not update. I found it frustrating, to say the least. When I first arrived the sales person told me my watch was faulty and I should take it back where I bought it. I did that, and was sent back to the Apple store where I had to make an appointment and wait an hour and a half to see someone. Half way through the consultation, he said he had to leave and work out the back. I was then handed to a woman who didn’t approach me at all, and so I went to her. They half fixed my problem, but it took me from 11am til after 3pm, and by then I had to pay parking fees! I have never seen so many people walking around a big room, and doing nothing but saying they were too busy to help! If this is the best Apple has to offer as after sales help, I will definitely not be purchasing any more Apple products! I am very disappointed!

If there is any doubt as to just how good Apple is, I hope this helps. Firstly, what company allows you to purchase an item, try it out for 14 days (now 2 months due to Christmas) then return it with no questions asked simply because you changed your mind……. Apple does. What company allows you to change your mind (UNLIMITED TIMES) during that time and still allows you to swap and change while continuing to smile at your indecision, Apple does. So what does this mean? It means despite higher prices, I am keen to give the items a try, knowing that should the situation change, I am covered. I get to see and feel the quality for myself and make an informed choice based on time spent with the actual device. Perfection. We all know Apple makes good products, but it’s the staff at the store that sell the product and the staff at Apple Penrith are among the best.

Go to any apple store but this one! Although there is 4 staff for every 1 customer they make you wait half an hour for your appointment time. Placed at a table with other customers I heard them all complaining with staff about being fobbed off while staff try and upsell them. Please let that not be me. All I wanted was a phone battery replaced. The staff told me that I should buy a new screen for $350. When I said no just a battery he said they can't do it but I could buy a new phone. I'll just take the battery & get a phone shop to install it I told him. No we won't sell you the battery alone unless you buy the screen. The service & staff here are just horrendous. Looks like its time to listen to my pals & go android cause Apples profit obsession is out of control. Avoid this place like the plague!!!!!!!!!

Please don’t buy apple products. I’ve got an Apple iPhone XS Max which has an issue called “unexpected touch”.. May I add a KNOWN issue!! I took it to the Apple store at Penrith to get it fixed. They quote me $510 to fix this known problem. I refused as this was a known issue. Mainly with the IPhone X. Was told it was out of warranty, therefore they couldn’t fix their known issue! The manager also refused my request to have it fixed through Apple! Disgraceful!! Called Apple 2 times after to try and get a favorable decision. What I got was unprofessional, disgusting non service. This is what Apple pride themselves on!! A premium product? OBVIOUSLY NOT!! Better service? DEFINITELY NOT!! This is my experience with this disgraceful organisation!!! Do not buy Apple!!

I bought a new iPhone 15 pro max 1tb few days ago. That became stuck two times. When I visited the store the store manager Sana was telling they cannot replace the phone because the phone is passing all tests today. They told they can restore the application if needed. I have shown them the panic logs but the support Center doesn’t even have facility to retrieve the logs and analyse it. As per the manager he is the boss and doesn’t even have an escalation mechanism for the customers to report their dissatisfaction with the product, manager or their customer service. Now I have to continue to use this phone even when it’s faulty. Any time it will become stuck. Literally poor support from apple for brand new iPhone 15 pro max.

Don't bother trying to get your iphone fixed any time soon with the new iphone just coming out! These so called water resistant iphones... my wife was told she had water damage to her front camera. She was initially quoted $300 to get it fixed and was happy to do so, left her phone for them to fix it only to come back 4 hours later to pick her phone up not fixed and quoted a further $700 because it has water damage which was initially discovered in the first place. They then offered to show her the new iphone. My wife took her phone and left. It's disappointing they can't help out their apple customers and would much rather prefer to scam them into buying more of their products instead.

Its not quite like the Sydney CBD Apple store service, some times its ok, depends on who is serving you. My first experience with a staff called Anthony in the Genius bar at 4:30 pm on Wednesday the 7th September 2022, was pretty bad. He said that my iPhone 7 was faulty (it was pretty lame.. I could tell right then) so he couldn't change the battery. Something was telling me this guy wasn't being nice to me and yes, the next Saturday in the same Genius Bar, someone else was completely nice and changed the battery with a professional helpful manner. Keep away from this type of staff like Anthony, not only he was unhelpful but he was also somewhat mannerless.

Brilliant it’s a five star for me I spoke to Apple on the phone yesterday about a laptop and they have created a go threw my iPhone camera so they can look at the laptop read and tell me what to do brilliant obviously so there not stuck on the phone with people like me that ain’t keeping up with technology for 3hrs but then I went into •*•Apple Penrith spoke to guy at front said little early for a appointment he put me straight threw early and the manager the guy in charge of technical department looked after me and he was unreal very smart knew what he was doing best that iv spoken to in the past it’s a a ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ from me..

Today I went in to get my iPhone fixed and was helped by Cam. Honest to God he is probably the best apple service worker, actually overall customer service worker I’ve ever come across! Not only was he charming and funny but he was very knowledgeable and professional! Cam helped me replace my iPhone while he talked me through the whole process which made it smooth and at the same time educated me on things I didn’t know about. Thank you so much once again Cam!! Apple Penrith definitely need to give you a pay rise for the amazing service you provide 100/10!!

Very DISAPPOINTED Service!!! I went there for trade in my phone and purchasing new one. Someone served and started process but I had to wait more than 2hrs as they said there is no internet !!! All staff computers are not working!! Printers has no connection ..Seriously? In Apple Store has no internet and all of their computers not working ? The staff who served me, she serving other customers didn’t inform anything while I’m waiting for her… I can’t believe this poor customer service from this store !! Absolutely NOT recommended this penrith branch!!

2 years ago I wrote a review due to being so frustrated with the service. Back then the service was an abomination. It was so bad that I went to Castle Hill & was served there. However, I decided to give this store another go, move on from the numerous service frustrations. With all that said & on a positive note, I would like to mention both Irtiza & Ann, commending them for going above & beyond their role. Friendly, knowledgeable, patient, & sorted out my issues. Have been here twice, staff is rather lazy and not keen to help. Very laid back and would not ask for help from their colleagues, will just keep delaying make you sit for hours and stay quiet next to you posing they are waiting for something. Today it took the attendant 30 minutes to speak to colleague and “wont happen today” is favourite line. Hate to try and love to waste time … P.S: nobody in store knows how to do a vodafone deal, they will all come and see you. Pose smart and will not do anything.

Words can’t express the exceptional service I received today. My near new iPhone 14 pro had a strange screen issue which was really concerning me. Grant made me feel extremely welcome and went above and beyond to explain what the problem might be and how we could go about fixing it. An hour later my phone had a brand new screen and is as good as gold. Shout out to Elaine and Leanne (I think) for going above and beyond to make sure my new screen protector was applied perfectly. Thank guys!!

Worst experience. Went in at 10am when they first opened to get the screen fixed on my iPhone 11. They said it would take an hour. I came back in an hour they said 30 more minutes. Came back in 30 minutes. Still not fixed and it will take another 20 minutes. Came back in 20 minutes and guess what?! Still not fixed and they need another 20 minutes. I don’t mind waiting but just be up front about it. My partner and I will be waiting in Penrith forever to get it fixed. Absolutely ridiculous.

Poor service to be honest. I went to get a phone on contract and they said to come next day, as I came at 4:50 PM and their store closed at 5:30 PM. So 40 minutes are not even enough to complete the contract. There were so many staff and very few customers. Basically in a way, instead of making a sale in 40 minutes they just wanted to stand still and finish the day. Wanted to give a iPhone as a gift for a birthday. Apple Penrith store has ruined it. I wish I could give 0 star.

Wonderful service technicians and I don’t want to embarrass them but the senior female tech is wonderful. The sales types - except for the young woman who served me today who was the only nice person I’ve met there since about 2017 - are nincompoops and have been for years. The entitled 20 something with the attitude and pathetic beard who I first encountered needs a lesson in common courtesy and civility. Thankfully I managed to brush him and achieve what I set out to do.

I have just taken up around 15 minutes of time with Maheen trying to solve a problem, which for me was causing a great deal of distress. She was so kind and patient that I was really taken aback. As I have aged, I have noticed an ever growing feeling of invisibility, as in not being 'seen' as a person, particularly by the younger generations. So, not only did Maheen solve my issue, she treated me with respect and consideration. I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I recently bought airpods from here and an hour later I found out that my dad already bought the same ones for me as a surprise. I had the receipt with me and I later came back to get a refund. Felt quite guilty tbh, but I was welcomed by Jess, who made sure the process was easy for me, and was very kind. She was very polite and friendly and was extremely helpful. Excellent service overall, and the person who sold me the airpods was also quite honest and approachable.

This place is garbage, my computer turned off and wouldn’t turn on. The lady came back after trying to start it and WITHOUT explanation told me the whole thing was shot and I could replace the whole cpu for over $700. Again with 0 explanation as to what the reason was or what was failing. Took it to another store who offered to hard reset it for me, an option not given to me here. Found the staff here dismiss and unhelpful.

Poorest customer service ever received, they have only one motive that is to sell their products. I bought apple watch 4 months ago and suddenly the colour of strap start fading and the product is still in its warranty period and they didn’t replace it or even they were not able to provide me any satisfactory reason that why it happened to the silicon strap. Don’t visit this store it’s just wastage of time and money.

Went to get phone fixed, guy plugs it into the laptop and I'm watching him just put figures into his ipad, he reckons can't fix it but can be replaced for the price of a new one waste of time going into Apple stores to fix their own that's why noone bothers anymore and goes to independent stores to get them quickly fixed. Prices for phones mind as well start charging stamp duty fees on them phones how annoying.

I went there yesterday to fix my iPad, but unfortunately, they didn't try much to fix it and asked me to buy another one, as they told me it wouldn't be fixed. However, I came to the Apple Store Townhall today, and they fixed my iPad in 10 minutes. I don't know what to say; even the manager didn't enquire much to fix it and simply said, "We can't do it; you have to buy another one." Poor customer service

We went to fix the mac book screen for my daughter. They said need to get appointment. I was so upset because my daughter need the mac book for study purposes. I tell them as well but they said even though need to get appointment. we are very busy whatever we have the time we can go there. it is unacceptable. we went last Thursday but still not fix yet. today I went to castle hill tower but not fix yet.

Replaced the battery in my iPhone today & received it back before the quoted time. The tech even managed to keep the screen protector of the phone during the batt replacement. The staff at the Genius Bar & the others were very friendly/helpful (this occasionally isn't the case). In the past, staff have also been super helpful when helping me choose a new Mac & iPad.

I can't say I experienced the negative reviews here. From the moment I walked in, someone was there to help out. The staff were very informative, friendly and helpful. This is something that should be quite important for staff members and Apple staff definitely show this. The purchase was very straight forward, I look forward to returning to make more purchases.

Went in around 5pm today and was helped by Anne. She was amazing! She explained straight up what the problem was and how can it be solved, if we needed it dumbed down a bit, she did that without any attitude. She was such a great help and didn’t try and make us buy anything if we didn’t have to. She made it the easiest appointment I’ve ever had at that store.

I bought a phone from this store. But I was shocked that they deceive and lie to people. They didn't tell me when you change your phone, you will pay $400. This is a scam. I sold it 3 weeks ago. I was surprised by a bill they sent by e-mail saying that you have to pay $400 and I went to the store to fix the problem. They denied it. What scammers they are.....

Purchased iphone online where it says its available to pick up from apple penrith today. Went to the store and they said I dont have any thing ordered to be picked up today. Pretty good experience. Was late on my appointment but was still provided service. Then, I found out that I had ordered the wrong service appointment. The staff there helped me out and booked the correct appointment. The Genius bar technician was friendly and cheerful. Then, the sales person was chilled out as well. Overall, a great experience.

Was in your store today. I'm 75 years young and not very savvy with all this new technologies. Needed help with my new iPhone. Got Hannah and she was fantastic. Was so helpful and pleasant. Received excellent service from Claudine! She was so knowledgeable with informing me about their macbook range after I went in not knowing exactly what I was after. Went there three times with some i phone issue like heating and auto-restart while using app, they restored three times but didnt solve the problem and asked to go back with dealer for further steps, checked with dealer and found that dealer will send to them again, so what is the point wasting time again again.. worst experience ever::

Great customer service as always. Apple repaired a MacBook Pro that was well out of warranty (4.5 years old) for free, discounted another MBP battery replacement plus replaced two 14 month old braided solo loop bands for me free of charge without a question. Premium prices for a super premium service. Won’t get that anywhere else

I had a terrible experience here with a young manager. I don't remember her name but her attitude being very rude and belittling customers just because they want to return the goods. But if you are lucky enough to meet new staffs you will be better served than others maybe because they are new so they behave politely and modestly

Exceptional service received from the team members who assisted me this afternoon. In a freak accident I broke my brand new iPhone 12 pro (not even set up yet) and they were empathetic and understanding and were able to replace it on the spot. I wasn’t expecting such an immediate resolution and am so grateful this was possible.

Had an issue with our 2.5 yr old ipad (which was out of warranty) and Dean and Josh were just so accommodating and fair in their options with us. I felt heard and valued as a customer. This situation could have easily been a negative one with an easy "too bad out of warranty" but we were very happy with the solution.

Went in with an issue with my AirPods today and was helped by Ash. Diagnosis did take some time however Ash was very informative and knowledgeable. He replaced the case of my AirPods free of charge (under warranty) and was very concise while explaining the next steps I had to take in order to set them up completely.

I counted at least 19 staff members in store. About 7-8 were actually working. Others huddled in groups of 3 chatting while waiting for someone to help us. Very unprofessional. Terrible customer service at genius bar.. The phone have mic problem the guy said its sim card issue.. I said the problem happens through wifi and 5g he said replace the sim and the problem should be fixed! Are you serious!? Had to drive 45min each way to 5min unhelpful appointment.

New phone for 64yo with reasonable tech skills. First class service, 10 minute wait which I was informed of from the outset. Two wonderful staff helping me. No trouble to move all my data. Honesty regarding the phone I needed. Couldn’t fault this store. Bouquets all round.

I was told it would be over $700 to replace a battery in my iPad and encouraged to just buy a new one because it’s cheaper… Apple have made it impossible for even themselves to repair their products. No regard whatsoever to the environment or to their customers.

Went in to collect my MacBook earlier today, all of my problems were fixed under warranty and quickly and efficiently especially as it was on my birthday!! Huge kudos to whoever was working as a person facilitating after repair delivery!

Overall such an amazing experience in the store. Sonia and Michelle both went out of their way to ensure that both issues with my iPhone 13 Pro Max and AirPod Pro’s were rectified. They had these devices replaced the same day.

Went to apple store in Penrith Westfields today to enquire about a new iPad. Walked around the store for 20mins hoping to get some help, but there were 10-15 employees just standing around talking and not offering any help!

Staff are knowledgeable but their prices may not be the cheapest. Make sure you check the website of other stores too (JB Hi-Fi or Harvey Norman)
