Horrible customer policy. We bought a wood prep solution from Home Hardware. Upon realising, the same product was available for a cheaper price at Home depot we went to return this back at the store (within 14 days as stated on the receipt). The solution is brand new/ unopened, they refused to take it back claiming they do not accept returns for liquids. Nowhere in our receipt is it mentioned that returns/ refunds for liquids are not acceptable. In fact, we asked the customer rep before we bought to ensure they take returns back. Never buying anything from this store again. Highly disappointed!

Extremely rude and brainless manager. I asked him to exchange 25amp fuse box for the 15 amp fuse box which i purchased just yesterday from another location. Apart from whatever the POLICIES are….. we have yet not entered the AI era…. We can expect some humanity and empathy…… This manager refused to help and instead said that all my fuse were BLOWN OUT…. He himself is BLOWN OUT….. I spent fuel all the way from brampton to this location, to find out that the fuse were blown out…… The front desk person tried to help but the manager thought that not helping someone is a quicker way to go to hell.

A good place to shop. We specifically went to pick up a vaccum that was in Black friday deal. It was out of stock in the last week when we spoke to store lady on the phone and she did help us in making sure that she will call us when its available and sell in the same reduced price. As promised she called and thats why we got to visit this store today. I peeped inside the store while I was there for the other inventory and it seems to be a good store in that area. Store person helped us locating the vaccum that we were looking for. Overall had good expwrience with my first purchase.

Terrible experience. Placed an online order May 5th, it arrived in store 3 weeks later. I found the same items at a cheaper price at another retailer so I called to cancel my order (after one item was already canceled on me) and I've been given the run around. First I was told to call back the next day when they are less busy,. Called the next day, the lady said she would cancel my order and I've gotten no confirmation or refund. Tried calling back but they are "too busy" again. All I want to do is cancel my online order! Worst experience from a retailer I've had.

Placed an online order with curb side pickup option. They emailed me that my order was ready for pick up (weeks after placing order.) I go to the store to pick up my stuff and was informed the order is actually not there. I waited for over 30 minutes to be turned away??? Was sent home with no updated delivery information. I’ve been calling the store for over a week now; no answer. Oh and they CHARGED my card??? Online customer service cannot help and referred me back to the store’s number.... what the heck kind of service is this?

The staff in this store are amazing and helpful. I ordered an outdoor rug online and just picked this location for pick up. Well the rug was not good and I had to return it one month later. The online service was not helpful at all, but the store and staff were second to none in helping me. After getting the runaround from the online service, the staff and manager in the store went out of their way to make things right for me. Will now only shop in person at this store. Great job!

I came here to get a broom and I walked out with my broom and great service. There was a young man that helped with questions I had about other things and he didn't roll his eyes or sigh he answered my question with a simile. Plus the lady at the cash was very sweet and friendly. I like the mom and pop feel of this store. That's why I went here instead of the bigger one. Come here if you are looking for great customer service.

Updated my recent 4 star review and downgrade to a 3 star...they need to hire staff with knowledge ..the newer older gentleman needs to be trained or educated on the products, he's not very helpful on many items or has to literly call the owner...not many customers have time to wait while he gets advice from others...i hope they get the proper help..i really liked shopping here when I needed a quick fix item

Drove an hour and a half to come grab a 36x12 galvanized window well cover that it says has 1 in stock. The guy laughed at me and said I should’ve called first because they don’t have that even if it says they do. I asked him to double check since I drove so far and he shook his head. Went In The back for maybe 5 seconds and said no. This store is a waste of space. Don’t waste your time like I did

Limited inventory and lack of hardware knowledge got them 3 stars. But the store is well laid out and tidier than typical Home Hardware stores. Off hand I'd suggest this is more a 'female oriented' hardware store than 'male oriented' in that less tools, less nuts and bolts. Certainly nothing to trip over that us guys usually expect!

I have found the owner to be very knowledgeable and very helpful. They seem to have everything in their store. And what little they dont have, they can order in very quickly, like in 1 or 2 days. It is so refreshing not to waste my time in those big box stores trying to serve myself. I give this store 5 Stars

Despite being a physically small store I routinely find things here that are not at the big box stores. And if they don't have something in stock they will order it. Very friendly service and involved in the community. Also, be sure to check the front half of the middle aisle for clearance items.

Small and friendly family business here.has weekly discounts on many items and has easy access for quick in and out time. This store is my favourite for the home and hardware needs.the stores Staff are easy to find to direct you to your purchasing needs.

Went to this store as there was a special on an item, but they did not have it. Usually staff is helpful but not that day . He was not too happy to assist so left. Called their other location at strestsville and staff was more friendlier and helpful.

Although its not a box store, space is efficiently utilized and carries a large inventory. Plenty of items and sizes are not available in box stores could be found here. They also supply paint and duplicate keys. Come on in and you'll be surprise.

Went there today for light bulbs. The door hadn't even closed behind me and a gentleman greeted me and asked me how he could help. He took me to the light bulbs and advised me on the best ones. I love this store for the personal care they give!

Increadible family run business. Although the store is smaller. The family are gems. The daughter in the business is a true ambassador with her mom. Really this is a must visit for your home improvement needs.

Made order online still waiting for the store to let me know I can pick up curbside.its been three days. But funds are charged for the items. Poor customer service. Will not order online again

Home Hardware has always been one of my favorites for outdoor stuff, have shopped here for years, love the fact that it is a smaller store but caters to everyone's needs.

Excellent service and good sales. The owner is very knowledgeable, helpful and approachable. Personalized service is easily accessible here unlike at the big box stores.

Sold a doly that broke after 10 minutes of use. Refused to refund the next day. Dolly was assembled at the store with help and wad told it was 100 percent good

One of my favorite local stores. They always have such interesting things there and staff is super friendly and knowledgeable... always a great experience.. :)

All ways use this location for quick projects around the house, great helpful staff and they always have items on sale that aren’t necessarily in the flyer.
