Located in a quaint area if Oakville, I tried this Aroma location for the first time today. I love that this location is clean, inviting and has lots of windows as well as outdoor seating. I came in October and there were still tons of people using the outdoor seating areas. They have a seating area upstairs too which has plenty of tables near windows so you can look out to the main street while you're enjoying your coffee. I personally love the Hazelnut coffee, but we also grabbed two breakfast sandwiches which was a nice, relaxing morning for us.

This... now this is a spot! This Aroma sits in the heart of downtown Oakville -- where beautiful scenery matches the bright & uplifting service given by the employees here! This was our first time trying Aroma & it was such a pleasant experience! When thinking aloud about what drink we should get (the berry ice-tea lemonade), the gentleman at the cash register reassured us what we were looking at was to die for; & boy was he right! When you stop by this location for a dine-in experience, don't forget to take a peak at the upstairs area where you can enjoy your food & beverage whilst overlooking the busy area of Lakeshore in a calm & relaxed setting. Quality & service was a fantastic experience! Definitely a recommendation.

Great cafe. Love the coffee and, as an Israeli chain, they have lovely Mediterranean food options. The only place I know that makes a good mint lemonade! Their lattes are also beautiful and the chocolate chip cookie is the best I’ve had at a coffee shop in a long time. Very nice outside sitting area. I also enjoy going to their upstairs which is usually a lot quieter with mellow European vibes playing. Will be a cozy spot in the winter. A bit on the pricey side ($28 for soup, sandwich and a lemonade) but I will continue to return.

THE BEST AROMA THERE IS AROUND! Amazing atmosphere with UPSTAIRS SEATING! I honestly felt like I was in a movie, great view from the windows. I also appreciate the inclusive unisex bathroom, it was clean and looked nice too! The food and drinks were also amazing, I could tell it was made with love and quality. The cashiers were also really nice and overall, I felt very welcomed here. Definitely will be coming back!

What a beautiful and bright place to grab coffee! Coffee is nice, pastries looked good, I tried chocolate pecan butter tart which didn’t blow my mind away, but was ok. I wouldn’t spend $5.25 for it next time though. The service was good. Loved the second floor for brightness and coziness, but the cleanliness of it was really bothering me, seems like the space wasn’t cleaned in ages, it was dusty and dirty everywhere, so for this reason I’m giving it 3 stars. If it would be cleaner, I’d be a constant customer in here.

This cafe/bistro is fantastic. It is fast/casual but not fast food...don't be confused on that if you are expecting to pay fast food prices and rightfully so the price reflects it. The food quality is outstanding, fresh, thoughtful, great portions and when I need a break, this place is my go to lunch spot! Please do not change your standards. Highly recommend.

Been here twice and the espresso is just ok. I purchased some baked goods that were stored in a clear box from a bakery next door and stopped by quickly for a coffee. The staff assumed I was eating outside food and immediately asked me to leave as I sat down after paying $5 for coffee. Came across as a little rude as they made a wrong assumption.

We had an Aroma in Ottawa for a while, but COVID unfortunately hit it pretty hard - and, wow, did I miss the experience... Friendly service, excellent food, a nice ambiance and fair prices, basically ticking every box in my checklist for a great coffee shop. They also have some tables outside for those bright, sunny days (now, you're just spoiling me) - and lucky will have it there's an EV charging station right in front. Perfect spot.

Can’t say enough good things about this location. The latte is amazing always, the food is super tasty and the service phenomenal. This location’s atmosphere is by far the best. Great people! The gentleman that works there is awesome!

The owner or manager is a very greedy short-sighted man. My mom and I planned to grab a morning coffee at aroma and try a croissant from the place next door. But because we hadn’t bought our food from aroma we were told we couldn’t sit on the patio with our aroma coffees. My mother and I will be living in Oakville for a long time, and as long as we do we will be going to the many other excellent coffee shops in downtown Oakville.

We were asked to leave patio just because we bought croissant in the cafe located next to Aroma. Even when we had Aroma's coffee. This is ridiculous. I understand that no outside food is allowed. But I'm not bringing my own lunch or Big Mac with coke. Just a dessert from the closest bakery as a complementary to their cofee. What a shame. They are so greedy and not customer oriented. Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

Aside from local cafes (and not all of them do matcha lattes), Aroma has the best matcha latte whether hot or iced. Whenever I'm in the downtown Oakville area I'll drop in for one. It has the right sweetness level to balance the bitterness of matcha. The powder they use is 10/10.

this store is not great with COVID protocols. The staff masks don't fit and the music is so loud staff have to speak louder to be heard. In addition, it isn't clear where to stand so everyone stands too close to each other. I ordered a chicken sandwich and it took 20 minutes to prepare and when it did, it had the smallest piece of chicken. I like aroma but wouldn't recommend this location

We are frequent customers because they have good food/drinks and staff is friendly. However, it is not the best atmosphere when the owner is present - he always seems in a terrible mood and we’ve witnessed him at times speaking to staff disrespectfully. Washroom facilities are often not very clean as well. Hoping they can improve in those areas to make it a better customer experience.

Bought 2 croissants and wanted some bacon in it. They charged me 25$ because they had to send them to the kitchen for someone to cut and put the bacon in.... I have been coming here for years , last visit, no limit to this greediness....I am shocked

The coffee could be a lot better given that the place is called espresso bar. I ordered an oat latte and they gave me a dairy/milk latte and I'm lactose intolerant. I took a few sips and then realised that the taste is off. The service is ok and the atmosphere is so on the go.

Bought food through Uber eats, the Mediterranean salad was so small like it was a portion made for a young child but was almost 20$! I paid 1$ for an extra lemon slices and not only were the lemons old but the slices were incredibly small. So disappointed in this restaurant. Never ordering here again.

I always stop by Aroma when I’m attending my beauty services on Lakeshore. Super friendly staff. The space has 2 floors with lots of seating. In the summer they have cute little bistro tables outside. Very in brand with the Downtown Oakville aesthetic. I always get the Egg Salad Salad + Pumpkin Cauliflower Soup! Literally my fave! So delicious!

For the price and location I would’ve expected more from who actually works there. Great small spot to refuel your energy. The food and drinks are made ..decently well. The location is very clean but quite loud like someone is walking on the upper floor in iron boots.

I work here sometimes. The beverages are consistently refreshing. I haven't tried the pastries, but they say that everything is made fresh. The service is always quick and super friendly, and the restaurant is clean. Upstairs is bright and has plenty of seating. It's a great space for quiet work, but not too quiet that you can't get on a call.

Save your money. Don't go to this outhouse. The restroom was filthy. There are lots of better places on this strip. The waiter was very rude and inconsiderate towards the elderly. He was an all around jackass.

Family owned place, clean diner/washrooms. Very pleasant service from the staff. Very home like feeling. On my way to work and on my way from work, whenever I stop by their dishes are always fresh. Would recommend whether for coffee or something to eat, especially being the only aroma in the city.

Nice, tidy and clean place. You get your orders fast and quality is good, but prices for certain items are higher than expected. They're also pretty nice to cyclist, let you park your bike at the entrance, use the restroom and give you water without rolling their eyes

I love this place! They have a great selection of hot drinks, smoothies, and other cold drinks. The food is wonderful - you can get light snacks or full meals. There are plenty of vegetarian options too!

Do NOT order pickup. They mark up all the prices by 16-20%. Just call the store and order by phone. The food is good, but DoorDash/Aroma will charge you an exorbitant markup for no extra service.
