On entering the gallery, I was greeted by the exquisite artwork of a number of talented artists, each piece expertly curated to showcase the unique style and vision of the artist. I was impressed by the range of contemporary art on display, with each piece evoking a sense of emotion and wonder. The use of vibrant colors and intricate details in each work of art was a testament to the incredible skill and craftsmanship of the local artists. Despite not being an art aficionado, I left the gallery with a newfound appreciation for the beauty and complexity of the artwork on display. The gallery's exhibitions, which are held on a regular basis, provide a wonderful opportunity to explore the individual artists' work in depth, to learn about their creative process, and to meet the artists themselves. It was fascinating to hear about their inspiration, the techniques they used, and the journey that had led them to create these stunning pieces of art. Overall, Art Africa is a true gem in the heart of the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront, Clock Tower Precinct, offering an unparalleled opportunity to experience the beauty and creativity of the local art scene. Whether you are a seasoned art collector or simply someone looking to explore the world of art, Art Africa is a must-visit destination.

We purchased a beautiful print from the gallery. In the shop the director uncovered the top corner from the plastic cover it was kept in to show us the high-quality paper it was printed on, we never saw it completely uncovered. It was then rolled and packed. We took it with us in a cardboard roll and back home when unpacking we discovered that the picture had been folded in the middle. Something very obvious, but not mentioned to us during the purchase or when the person rolled the print and packed it. We took photos and contacted them with the only reply we got "I don’t understand what happened.". No apology and since then no reply at all. I guess it is fair to say that while preparing the packaging and rolling up the print one would notice this massive fold, hence I can't understand it wasn't brought to our attention. Very disappointed by this unprofessional behavior. To everyone looking into purchasing, make sure you get a good look before they pack it up. We will still keep fond memories to our visit in Cape Town.

Attended a beautiful women’s day Art exhibition. Loved the Nedbank building art unveiling. Was fantastic to interact with the artists and get insight into their work. Also liked artist Eben’s live art, painting with an audience. Also, Jacki had a very interesting medium she used for her art, South African currency shredded to bits. Thought provoking too.
