I am not one to leave one-star reviews and vent, but these guys are the epitome of horrendous customer service and just downright not caring about their customers once they have their money. I paid for "premium delivery" $160 to have my bed delivered and assembled. The pictures show what they left me. Since I was working, I asked my 77 year old mother to be at the house while the bed was delivered and assembled. They left me a bed with two missing slats and a missing support leg on the middle slat, rendering the bed useless since it won't support a box spring and mattress (Pics attached). The delivery guys obviously knew this but played dumb and took advantage of my elderly mother's lack of awareness. I spent two hrs on the phone the following day to demand they either complete setup or refund the $160 given they did not give me what i had paid for. Most of the two hours was spent on hold being bounced around to different people. I had to insist multiple times to speak to a supervisor. After the poor customer service kid caved and put me through, the supervisor offered me a discount on the bed that was half the amount of the supposed premium service. On principle, i said no thanks, I'm asking for a refund on something i was promised but not given. He said it was not possible and i would have to go to the location where i got the bed. The supervisor informed me that the missing parts were not available in store but would be sent in 7-10 days and upon arrival I'd get a call. We are talking about two slats and a support leg that are pretty universal and most likely on a gazillion different display models they could've borrowed from. I then drove to the Ashley location and spoke to Mara, their customer ops specialist. She logged my complaint and said i should receive the refund within 48 hrs and that she'd call me. Apparently this was just to get me out of the store. After five days or so, i called the store directly and spoke to Mara. she said that i should see a refund and to wait maybe anothwr day or so. Two days later and nothing. I called again and was placed on hold for about 10 minutes before getting sent to voicemail. This happened twice. The next day I went back to the store and spoke to Mara in person. She showed me the comms with wherever this stuff gets elevated to on the screen. There was nothing in there that showed i would get a refund, not even a response. She sent another message and said she would call me. That was last week. No call, no resolution whatsoever, no parts and we have been sleeping on a mattress on our floor dancing through an incomplete bed frame to get around our room for the past couple of weeks now. I have been stonewalled, lied to, cheated out of $160 having paid for a complete setup i didn't get, and left to have to navigate a bedroom with unnecessary space taken up by an incomplete bedframe with a mattress on the floor next to it for two weeks now. Shame on you Ashley, you are a disgrace to customer service principles, I genuinely despise you for your just not caring, complete disregard, and apparent policy of training employees to do everything possible to brush of justifiably unsatisfied customers once you have their money. I hope that this review serves as a buyer beware to others and that they take their business elsewhere as you deserve nobody's business.

Let me start by asking you something. What is the worst guest at a house party? Is it the person that didn't read the invite correctly and arrives way too early? You bet! That is a mother-in-law move or a work-friend-with-borderline-Aspergers-you-felt-obligated-to-invite-but-hoped-woundn't-come move. You see, I scheduled my couch's arrival more than a month in advance. I took time off work to not interfere with people that "hypothetically" depend on me. I had an easy DMV appointment 10-minutes away from my house scheduled one hour prior to the EARLIEST possible delivery window provided by Ashley as I took the whole AM off. When did the delivery people first call indicating they were 10 minutes away? 1 hour and 20 minutes before the EARLIEST possible delivery time. To their credit, they weren't lying and they arrived a full one hour before the EARLIEST time they were supposed to arrive and I missed my DMV appointment...but I did get a couch that 1) I paid for the delivery which was delivered whenever they wanted not when I needed it and 2) only "wanted" in these least emphatic way...it was more of a necessity as I had no place to sit. Missing that DMV appointment required me to take more time off work and drive 1 hour and 30 minutes round-trip to the neatest DMV that had an appointment still available that day. Thanks, Ashley! Let's say, "hypotheticallly" speaking I'm a healthcare provider that has a schedule with appointments of people that depend on me being, "on time." What happens if I get ahead of schedule? Nothing! The next patients probably can't come in early because they have agency and free-will and probably also took time off of work to come and see me..."hypothetically" still, of course. In sum, there is zero credit for being early in this world (unless you are Amazon, which doesn't require you to be home) it is actually detrimental to everyone whether at a party or for an appointment. Zero Stars. Yes, the couch is fine. Yes, the delivery was fine but still, zero stars. I'd up it to one star if Ashley would refund my delivery fee and go to the DMV for me and deal with that whole non-sense. Do you know what the best part of this review is? As a GenX-er, I'm not special and it doesn't matter what I think which negates this whole review. That is juxtaposed to the generation of delivery drivers that showed-up from a certain, younger, more inwardly-looking generation that, by their own admission, are very special as the world obviously revolves around them. I hope they ended their day early to make "content" after making my day much longer.

Although I recommend Ashley overall, I do not recommend the store in Albuquerque. Last year, we ordered a lot of furniture and some was very delayed in coming in. Despite this, I tried them again because I needed to purchase a loveseat. Although it was on display/not marked as such, the model we selected was discontinued. I requested to buy the display model, and the salesperson said noone was there to make that decision (it was a Sunday) and he would call me the next day. When he didn't call me the next day, I sent him a text to which he never replied. I tried calling the store the following day, and the store didn't pick up their phone so it went to an out of country customer service line. The costomer service told me I had to call the store, they cannot help me. Of course, given the store didn't answer, my only option would be to go back to the store in person. I opted to go to a different store rather than work with the staff at the store. I have always had a good experience with Ashley in other states that I have lived, but unfortunately this one (Albuquerque) appears to have poor management and staff. Adding this on 3 August 2023 - the below response from "owner" is a canned response (as you can tell from them asking for an order number and store location) - when I texted them, I received canned responses and an update on an old order - nothing in regard to my review above. Clearly this company/store is in need of better customer service.

BEWARE, THEY DON'T HONOR THEIR WARRANTY. I have a 5 year warranty, that is set to expire next year. I have a chipping table and a chair that is now useless as the wood piece that supports one of the legs completely cracked in half. I tried contacting them for 3 Mos before someone finally admitted there was an issue at point of sale. I have a receipt that shows I've paid and have a 5 year warranty, and they will not return my calls. To date, I've placed 34 calls, and the only thing they'd offer was a refund on the warranty. What am I supposed to do with the $1600 broken and chipped table??? I asked for a better resolution as that was unacceptable, and they needed to take responsibility for their screw up. She said she'd call me back and never did. I even called corporate 5 times after this, they ignored me. I went into the store and watched the manager place a formal request. They still NEVER called me back. Shady shady business practices, and now I'm left with a $1600 POS. I will definitely be canceling my card with them. I've literally furnished my entire house with Ashley, and this is how they treat their customers. Run!!!

Ashley Home Furniture are thieves! They sold me a three piece sofa set for $3,400.00 and an extended warranty for $350.00. The love seat has a manufacturer's defect, so I called for repair. Ashley's ordered the wrong part the first time and failed to even show up the second scheduled time. Ashley's puts the blame on thier "third party" repair business and takes no responsibility. It's not my fault that Ashley's is doing business with a less than poor performing company. Who sold me the warranty?? That's right, Ashley's. The endless transferring to different departments by their customer care team is just a buffer to prevent the customer from having any remedy whatsoever. When I finally got transfered to a supervisor the lady hung up on me, after 3 hours of waiting! Ashley's sold me defective furniture and a warranty that they refuse to make good on. Thieves! I'll be seeing AHF in small claims court. Or Ashley's can come pick up their garbage and issue me a full refund. Dont waste your time with AHF, save yourself from numerous hours of frustration and headaches.

So me and my wife bought a great amount of furniture from Ashley store in Albuquerque. So one of the items we got was king matters. So what happened that matters was defective. So any how it was very crazy trying to get it replaced. They did honor the warranty and said they would replace it. So I went to the store to pick a matters and of course my matters was no longer available so they called a lady which she was very pleasant to work with and of course she ended up grading our matters which was ok cause my wife really liked it. But my complaint is she promised a couple of pillows and also they were offering a free ice cooler with a purchase of that matters. So when I called my sales person she said she would ask her manager cause it was not a purchase it was a exchange. I then explained that I did purchase a more expensive matters and she agreed with me. Never heard back from her. So my beef is don't promise what you can not deleaver. Also follow up would be nice. I will be thinking real hard if I will return back to that store.

Will never buy from again. Purchased a $1,500 power recliner. When I received the USB plug to charge my phone didn’t work took them 3 weeks and saying they would send someone out who never showed to tell me that if I would accept the chair as is without the USB charging station working they would give me a discount. A week later the power recliner, warmer, headrest and messager function went out. Spent 4 hours on the phone with them and submitting a ticket they then closed the ticket within 2 hours refusing to refund, replace, return or exchange. Went into store the 1st time in the morning and was not allowed to speak to a manager and was told the only way is through the 800 number which is what gave me the trouble and could never get a hold Of someone from the store. Then went back in the afternoon and spoke with a manager who pretty much stated there was nothing they could do and I was out of luck. So I’m out $1,500 and have a broken chair. Do not shop here unless you want to be taken advantage of

BEWARE!! Unfortunately, my experience did not go well. We did purchase a couch and loveseat on sale. We asked our sales person, Crystal, what if anything is wrong, since the price was very good. She replied NOTHING is wrong. It is a model we are no longer making and want it off the floor. It matched what we were looking for so purchased the item, after looking it over. We had it delivered the next day and it showed up with a rip in the back of the loveseat. Unfortunately where the loveseat sits it is not against our wall so the tear is exposed. It was hidden in the store behind another piece of furniture. We called to get help and we’re actually laughed at- he literally laughed at us on the phone stating we should have noted in this in the contract if we expected help with the tear. Sorta hard to do when you don’t know about the tear even after asking! After a week of trying to get help the store is silent and apparently does not care about its deception to customers. So BEWARE!

I purchased the 5 year protection plan coverage. I filed a claim on 2/6/23. I sent a follow-up email on 3/29 after not receiving a response. I sent several other follow-up e-mails on 3/29-23 and then again on 4/3/23 and 4/22/23. I submitted the claim and submitted all photos via the Protect All claim submission website. I would love to revise my review with 5 stars if I can receive a response and get my claim resolved. There is only a support e-mail address listed on the website and so far, as I explained I have had no luck trying to inquire via e-mail. If someone can offer me a direct phone number where I can reach a human to help me resolve this matter - I would appreciate it. Claim ID 904913. Update 6/9/23 - Thank you for having someone reach out to me quickly to resolve this matter! I appreciate it and am excited to know that the protection plan was a good investment after all.

Buyer Beware If you purchase furniture from Ashley which requires assembly, ASSEMBLE IT IMMEDIATELY. DO NOT ACCEPT FURNITURE AT THE END OF THE WEEK. Ashley gives you a 72 hour window to find defects, or you are stuck with the furniture. You MUST call during business hours (customer service is not open on weekends). I purchased a dining room set and Ashley sent the wrong height table. I attempted to get this remedied on Monday, which was outside the 72 hour window. Ashley will not exchange my table for the proper height table. There is absolutely no way I could have caused this problem. Ashley does NOT stand behind their products. Additionally, do not trust reviews on Ashley's website. I posted this review as a verified purchaser (including these pictures) and they quickly removed it. Only good reviews with a very few mixed poor reviews are kept.

Updated: It has now been 14 days since the Store Manager said he would issue a refund and have the delivered parts picked up. NOTHING has happened. DO NOT SHOP AT ASHLEY!!. They deserve zero starts. I sincerely wish I has read the 1 star reviews prior to visiting. I purchased a bed and due to what I am told was a "tagging error", the wrong rails were delivered. The sales associate did go out of her way to inform me that this would be the case, as it was too late to stop the delivery. But she made a fatal mistake, she promised me the proper parts would be delivered by the end of the week. Based on that promise, I accepted the rest of the bedroom furniture. After I was informed the actual delivery would not take place for an additional 3 weeks, I questioned the salesperson. Basically her reply was essentially "well that is the way it is".

Jared Valdez provided Friendly Great Service. We will come back again to buy the matching Loveseat because of him. You can buy furniture anywhere but you cannot get professional Friendly Service anywhere. Unwrapped boxes and the recliners look gold brownish color. We set up chairs and they looked different in showroom lighting. Called Customer Service and was told to not accept them??. Language barrier. Had to repeat several times opened chairs and set up and noticed the color difference. Operator hung up on me when I explained I needed help and she could not understand properly how to direct me. I have a chocolate brown sofa and recliners have a gold color. They looked light tan in showroom lighting. I just want to exchange them for the white chairs same price and style. Left a message at Showroom. I hope they will help.

We were so excited to purchase a bed frame and mattress from here. But after 3 days the bed frame broke while our family was getting ready for bed. The entire upper frame underneath the mattress broke we were terrified because our 3 year old was on the bed with us. We made many attempts to schedule someone to look at our bed to fix or replace it because we have a warranty, it took about 3-4 months to send someone to just come look at it. The person informed us parts would be sent, it has been months and nothing came in. We called Ashley’s to inform them because no one followed up with us, we got the response “why haven’t you called us”. It’s been a year now, still making payments for our broken bed costing us thousands. Our family has been having to sleep on our couch. Thank you Ashley’s for the great customer service.

My time shopping was fine. I was greeted and browsed at my own pace without the hovering presence of a salesperson, which I appreciated. But my visit was marred by the absolute nightmare of the check out experience! It took over 25 minutes to complete the transaction for the one clearance item I bought. It took three employees, one being a manager to complete the transaction. There were tech issues, difficulties figuring out the right price (the discount was 75% off $200.00), a wait for a manager’s approval, then my information had to be put into the system twice, next came the paperwork I had to sign 5 different forms, one of which the salesperson didn’t know what it was for. Couldn’t wait to leave and won’t be back!!! My advice steer clear of this store!

Terrible store, and worst buying experience ever. I was greeted by a rude salesman who wasn’t interested in me until he found out I was looking for a mattress. Then, when I told him my budget he proceeded to argue with me and the mattress I was looking at, saying I needed to spend over 5k on a mattress to be worth sleeping on! He tried pushing the payments on me, but when I told him I wasn’t interested in financing or getting a more expensive mattress, he rolled his eyes and walked away. No one else bothered to help. No manager to be seen or heard, and I could hear at the employees laughing and carrying on at the front.

Terrible. Ordered furniture for my elderly father. Was assured delivery & assembly after 2p 12/26 (since we were off for the holidays) Now I’m told furniture won’t be here until the 28th & they set up the timeframe for when delivery takes place. No one answers the phone unless you are making a NEW purchase, or they refer you to an 866# where you are repeatedly hung up on unable to speak to a live agent… Seriously considering canceling the order- it’s a shame what retail chains have become. Right hand does not know what the left is doing SMH

Went to the Retail Store for help with an issue today and found out they have NO CUSTOMER SERVICE people to help you, at the store. Ain’t heard of such a stupid move on their part. They give you a QR Code and an 800 number to call. They don’t call you they text you. Very impersonal and aggravating. I already went down that road and was looking for “one-on-one” personal help!! They don’t provide that anymore! I called and closed my account and will NEVER shop at Ashley again!! Rude lady that worked there flipped me off as I left.

Charlie was awesome! Just the perfect combo of info and space. She had all the answers to our questions and didn't follow us out the door when we said we wanted to think about it. She was so friendly and helpful that we just knew we had the right staff member as well as the best recliner sofa. We're retired and value our comfort so we went with all the extras including rhe white glove delivery. No regrets! We're glad Charlie was the one to guide us through the purchase.

All I can say not happy, 2 weeks later purchased a bedroom set at American Home Furniture. Ashley Home, don’t sell a queen mattress frame knowing it was a full, you told me that queen was sold out but you had one. Shame on you. Oh and Cris at you customer service said no exchange because this was a promotional item. Will be giving American Home my business in another month for my living room set. Your lucky you received a 1 star, just because I could not rate a 0.

Overall, Lamar was great, he didn’t put any pressure on additional sales and did his best to get us the best deal. Downfall was that we were given incorrect information about picking up our items at the warehouse. We delayed our pick up from the warehouse by 2 days to allow time for the warehouse to gather all our furniture. When my husband went to pick the furniture, he ended up having to go to 2 different warehouses in order to get all our furniture items.

Customer service was great at first until I pulled up their own website to compare a price. The bedroom set I wanted was priced around $2,300 but $1,089 on Ashley’s website. I asked if they would honor the price, I was told that the amount lost is taken out of their paycheck so he wouldn’t do it but he could give me 15% off lol. I can order it online, from Ashley furniture, and save over $1,000. I think that is so bizarre.

We bought our brand new living room set For Christmas. It was pricey but we figured it’s been 15 years since we replaced our old set. Less than 5 months later BOLTS are shearing off. We can’t use it and I can’t get anyone to call me back. I had to drive over 100 miles to make sure the Albuquerque store is still open. They can still sell furniture but won’t bother trying to fix what they already sold. Very disappointing ☹️

I was in need of a new mattress yet I had been putting it off. I knew it would be an expensive venture I wasn't ready to make. So when I did feel up to it, I headed here first and glad I did! They were really nice not too pushy and we believe, I'm getting just the mattress I need. If not, I have 90 days to figure it out. I'm satisfied with my purchase now I'm just awaiting delivery.

Most products picked up or delivered are damaged resulting in a call to the questionable customer team. This occasion was terrible. They denied service due to my name not matching their records. More calls resulted in them saying they don’t have supervisors or managers and no way to file a complaint. They talk in circles and waste a lot of time. What a poor example of a business.

If they had customer service, I could rate it. The wrong couch was delivered and it's nothing but finger pointing as to responsibility. If they ever resolve the issue, I may be able to upgrade the rating but as of now we're heading into week 2 of zero resolution. Please also know that THEY DON'T POST THE STORE PHONE NUMBER. Nothing but run around nonsense.

Came in at opening on Black Friday - bought an end table. While waiting for paperwork to be completed, saw a sectional I might be interested in, but would have had to check with husband and measure family room. Was advised the sale would only have been offered until 8am, 1 hour after opening. I may have bought it but that wasn't enough time. Unfortunate.

My experience this morning was amazing. The ladies that helped me with my purchase treated me with the utmost respect. They welcomed me into the store as if they were welcoming a family member into their home. I was offered a donut because I hadn't yet eaten coming off a graveyard shift. I am happy with my purchase.

The salesman was nice. However I was told that it would be free front door delivery and my merchandise would be here in week and a half. But by the time I got up to go pay it was A $64 delivery fee and it would be a month till I got my merchandise. Not very happy about that after you've decided to make the purchase

Donica helped us find the perfect mattress for my husband and I!! I have scoliosis and have been struggling for years trying to find something that works for both of us. She spent time explaining the different mattresses and letting us try each one. With her recommendation, I no longer wake up with a sore back!!!

My wife and I came in to the store for a new mattress. We were quickly greeted and helped by Donica who is a mattress specialist and let me tell you, she really knows her stuff. I was amazed at how knowledgeable she is and the entire staff there. I will definitely be going back!

Good service before purchase good quality furniture… that’s where the good ends! Once the card is swiped all down hill, everything from delivery to your salesperson helping with issues, which are many. More than likely my last purchase With Ashley. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

I bought a new bedroom set from Ashley’s and the bedroom set was delivered cracked. The delivery people did not care much about the furniture and was damaged. Do not purchase the protection plan because it’s pretty much worthless…… definitely was a waste of money.
