  • "Last month I had a tooth pop out of my denture"

"I do not recommend getting dentures replaced here! I was having a great experience at first, but it went rapidly down hill! I asked them if it was possible to make my new dentures as close to my old ones, as they looked and felt natural! Of course modifying them to fit my existing gums and bone structure! They claimed it would not be a problem, and probably made it a little easier for the Lab to copy! They even made a mold of my existing dentures to get a close match for the new ones! It really seemed like they knew what they were doing, and things were moving forward rapidly! When the new dentures were done, they were much smaller than my existing dentures! ( The Arch of the teeth were much narrower than my old ones! I was not happy about this, because it looked like I had my baby teeth again! (I'm 55)! I thought they said no problem making the new ones as close to the old ones! They weren't even close! They must have forgotten to tell the lab,or forgot to send the lab the impressions of my old ones! So, I was not too confident with them anymore, but I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt! The bottom teeth didn't have much of a gum line, as our bones shrink over time! Regardless, there needs to be a little structure (bottom front gums) to enable a person to chew properly! There was almost no gum line at all, but they seemed to fit somewhat! I asked the tech to grind a rough or uneven spot just a little, but she was going to town, like it was her first time playing with the Dremel! I told her more than a half dozen times not too grind too much off! But of course she did anyway! At this point, the dentist comes in and asks how they were fitting"

Last month I had a tooth pop out of my denture. I located Aspen Dental after a web search & they offered speedy repair as well as evening appointments. I told the dentist that I was unable to sign on for any additional work as I had just completed a career change & taken a deep pay cut to do so. I don't currently have dental insurance to offset any costs. The dentist instantly walked out of the room. Kristopher, the office manager, told me about his career change & encouraged me. When he told me I only needed to pay $40, because he had discounted the repair, I said, "Really, is that all? I want to be sure to pay for all of this tonight." He said that was the only cost I would pay because he gave me a discount. We then discussed getting my denture back to me and video games we play. My work hours match the dental office's hours almost every day. Kristopher told me that since they don't need to check the fit or anything, it was fine for a friend to pick them up the next day. He said they would not normally allow that, but it would be fine for this small repair. He then said that if there were any concerns I could tell my friend to mention that he had authorized this. I said I had a friend who would be there in the morning. He said that was great. This was not a passing comment. It was an entire conversation. This is where everything turns upside down. My friend arrived to get my denture. She was treated rudely, & left without the denture because of their "policy." She was also treated worse after mentioning Kristopher's name. I called the office & the woman who answered was instantly rude & condescending, as if I were just some crazy liar, which admittedly made me rather angry. I took a breath & asked to speak to Kristopher. I was put on hold for less than a minute & she came back to say he wasn't there but she was an office manager & she had called him & he said he didn't remember saying anything to me. She wasn't away from the call long enough to call anyone. I then had to leave the job I hadn't even been working for 2 full months, race from Bernalillo back to Albuquerque, to try & get my teeth back. I was stressed, angry about my friend being treated rudely, & angry that this woman would not deliver on the promise I had been given. When I arrived, I waited a few minutes. While waiting, I saw Kristopher speaking with another patient. So there was proof that the rude woman on the phone was lying. A woman came to the door of the waiting area with my teeth sealed in a bag in a plastic tray like you see in an eyeglass shop. She said I would have to go in for an exam & to have the fit tested. I said again, "There is nothing about the bite or the fit that needs testing. It was literally one tooth that fell off & I had you guys put back on." She looked uncertain & I said, "Look, I don't have time for this, I'm going to get fired if I don't get back to my office. I'm taking these & leaving." I picked up the denture & left. The same rude woman was back on the phone before I even got on the road, & I answered her first call. She started to scold me about my attitude. I ended the call. She called back again & I sent it to voicemail. She left a message & accused me of assaulting the assistant who had brought the denture out. Not only did I not assault anyone, I didn't even raise my voice at her! I thought about writing to Kristopher since I had his card & email address. At the end of the day, it wasn't worth the energy to stay engaged with the situation. I should have written him. I have received notice of an unpaid bill from the office, to the tune of an additional $120 & change. Tell me one medical practice that will hear a patient say "no insurance" & "I'm paying out of pocket" & not collect the entire amount due. They do not exist. So my bet is this woman went in & removed the discount. The statement shows the payment & no discount whatsoever showing. Being rude, making unfounded accusations, and driving away business was not enough for her. Will call customer service about this hot mess. Will never pay a dime. Total Scam.

I told her what happened with the tech, and that it would be impossible for me to eat anything with these dentures! They were much smaller than my original teeth and or my existing dentures! I asked why they were made smaller when they took a mold of my existing dentures! She did not really have an answer, and left the room! I sat there for a minute wondering what my next move was, and the dentist came back in and said "We have not charged your insurance yet, so you can just go somewhere else! Great customer service! If you do not do what you say you will do, don't blame the customer! It was either the lab that made the mistake, or the instructions to duplicate the existing dentures! Why else would they have molded my existing dentures? I have had two sets of dentures with no problems at all! I never had any problems at all! I cannot tell that I have dentures except for the plastic area on the roof of my mouth! I can eat corn on the cob, apples, anything I want with no problem! I have never needed to glue my teeth in because they fit so well! If someone has pain or discomfort from their dentures and it's difficult or impossible to eat or need to be glued in, THEY WERE NOT MADE PROPERLY! Why would I walk in with teeth that look and function properly, and then walk out with new dentures that don't fit, don't look natural, and impossible to eat with! Maybe they are a good dentist for other things, but DO NOT GET DENTURES HERE! What a terrible experience! It's always fun to be belittled when they were the ones inept to perform there jobs! If you can't make dentures, DON'T try to fake it!!!

I highly do not recommend this office or Aspen Dental in general. One of the worst experiences I have ever had! I started a full treatment plan (crowns and implants) with Aspen Dental office on Louisiana Blvd, Albuquerque, NM in July 2023. At the beginning of my treatment, everything was going well and both the dentist and office manager were very helpful and professional. However, the front desk staff were rude and lacked basic customer service skills. My treatment plan was updated after my first appointment, so when I went for my second appointment, I asked the receptionist for my updated treatment plan but she ignored my request and left shortly without providing me with one. In a later appointment, the preparation for my front crowns was done which went for all day until it was time to pick up my wife from work, but I was told that I still needed to come back to pick up a mouth guard (free of charge). I came back for the mouth guard 30 minutes or so later, the receptionist was on the phone having a lengthy conversation with a patient for almost 15 minute while she continued to ignore me. Once the phone call was over, she turned to me with annoyance and asked if I needed any help. So I asked if my mouth guard was ready to be picked up, to which she replied with a demeaning tone: ''you cannot just pick it up, the dentist needs to place it in your mouth and you still have to pay for it first''. I clarified based on what I was told by the dentist (the mouth guard is free of charge) and asked her to check, which she did it and verified that I was indeed telling the truth. I was finally taken to try my mouth guard by the dental assistance, who I told about what happened and promised me to relay my complaint to the office manager. On my next appointment, I asked the office manager if he was aware of my complaint, to which he responded immediately and without asking me about what happened ''I was told that you disrespect women in this office'. I was shocked he just said that to me and I asked for clarification, he replied '' you disrespected our dental hygienist". I met the dental hygienist on my first appointment and she tried to shake my hand, which is something I did not expect in a dentist office, so I unintentionally did not shake her hand. However, I felt bad about it and on my very next appointment I apologized for what happened and shook her hand. Even though I told the office manager what actually had happened, he continued to ignore my complaint. Then I asked the office manager if I can speak to Dr. Aurora, who is my dentist and the owner, before continuing my treatment but I was never able to. Since then , I have contacted Aspen Dental customer service three times regarding this matter, which they do not seem to care about and as of now I have not received any response to address my complaint. I have decided to complete my treatment elsewhere, where my business is appreciated and my concerns are addressed properly.

I have never had such a bad experience with the front desk staff before anywhere. I had been loyal to this place for years. Adam Nodal and Dr Aurora we’re great they helped me out with cleanings and getting my teeth back up to par. I had always been friendly with the staff and missed some appointments due to life happening and emergencies. They often have called me to reschedule appointments. In 2020 and 2021 this happened several times on their end. I had to wait over an hour after being early to appt and had to leave. I was not rude or anything I simply had to go back to work. I was called out by Christopher at the front desk with much judgement and a hostile rude attitude for my missed appts and a dark tone that ruined my mood for the day (and it’s Friday). I had never given criticism for the times they took forever or cancelled and rescheduled appts to me. I have never had such a bad experience with the front desk staff before anywhere. I have never been so judged or criticized by a place I’ve been loyal to and paid hundreds or thousands of dollars to. I had always been nice to the staff and it was not personal when I missed an appt or I didn’t take it personally when Aspen dental rescheduled my appt. I don’t know where Christopher learned customer service but he desperately needs to work on how to speak with paying customers esp the ones paying for his paycheck. Professionalism is required for a front end. People make mistakes and things come up, we don’t need to be berated and judged for the chaos that comes up in peoples lives. An attitude adjustment is needed for someone who works with paying customers and a more polite and professional tone is required. I hope the owner can read this and know that his people clearly don’t want my business anymore. I will recommend my friends and family and anyone I know do not come here any more.

Rude DDS Navbir Aurora. They cancelled my appointment in a location that they temporarily closed. I went here to have a tooth repaired on my dentures that fell off and they could repair and put it back in 1 day. But I had to see the dentist doctor. Well they did ex rays 3 D ex rays on my top and bottom gums. Why the top? I have top denture and I had a bridge that needed adjustment that he said couldn't do because it popped back up which is impossible. Then there's the hygiene exam that tells me I need deep cleaning every 3 months. ( no other dentist told me that) I told her my insurance only covers 2 cleanings. She said well maybe every 4 months. I again told her no my insurance only covers 2. She told me well they will work with you. DR came in and looked at my top denture and because I have had it for a long time said you need a new denture. Really when I only went to get the tooth put back when they said they could. I told him No I don't need a denture. I have no problems with mine he replied well I guess your the doctor and I'm not. I'm done with you. You can leave now. In other words get the f___ out of here I'm done with you. Very rude and he left the room. I was shocked and the receptionist felt bad. I asked him why was that all about. He told me something and because it was old and I can get pneumonia. Really? Then I asked him why the Dr didn't explain to me why I needed them. Went to the car and almost cried. Seems like they just want to make money off clients. Do recommend this place. Will report them to my insurance and state.

I only switched here for my 6 mo. check up/cleaning because my prior dentist was near my work office but with the CV they were now too far away. I had to leave after this scheduled basic check up/cleaning that I was told would last 1 hour or a little more (like they all do, right?) was not done at 2 hours and 30 mins. because the office had ONLY one dentist & he had still not given me my real check up! Who knows when we would get to me and now my 3 pm appt. was coming up on 6 pm! Again, only one dentist for this whole practice! What made it worse is that they do this highly invasive new patient x-ray set that involves 18 of them all over the mouth AND the file holders are extremely hard/rough and when you bite down they dig deep into one's gums. Not pleasant after 1-again, there were 18 of them and at the end my gums were raw and I had to eat soup for dinner. The kicker was afterwards they sent out recommendations via e-mail for future work on my crowns but it was incomplete. I e-mailed the staffer back but no answer after about a week. Finally, I escalated to their corporate office and a manager got back to me but was mostly indifferent to what I went through. I made it clear that I was not coming back and that they better not bill my insurance carrier which they did not-the only good thing that happened during or after my aborted visit. What a great first "impression"!

Went in and needed bottom dentures. The dentist was rude and she took very little time with me. I have perfectly good top dentures but she kept telling me they needed to be replaced. I paid a lot for my tops and the dentist I got them from said they should never need replacing unless they were to break. I have excellent insurance. I went into their financing office and was appalled at what they wanted to charge! Almost 8500 dollars for a whole new set of dentures. My insurance would pay all but 2500 dollars. That was for the top of the line dentures. The finance lady said she would email me with the price of a classic "lower end denture". It's been well over a week now and still no estimate for this. Rudest dentist in town! I wouldn't take my dog to these people! I went to another dentist and they relined my tops said my tops were perfectly fine and in excellent shape. They relined them and they fit perfect. They had never gotten lined before. I went into Aspen purposely not putting fixodent and told them that they had never been lined ever. She refused to line them and said they needed replaced. Also, getting my bottoms done next week with only 350 out of pocket cost with excellent dentures. Stay far away from these people. They want to charge for the dentures as much as implants would cost!

Signed up online for a same day appointment. Got to the office 15 minutes before my scheduled time. The office was in a bit of chaos, as they had received a high number of walk-ins. I ended being there a little over two hours, but I knew new patients (which I was) could take some time, so wasn’t too worried. I’m getting dentures, and the doc went over what to expect and the time frame. He then reviewed my x-rays and extraction expectations. After, he explained various pitfalls with new dentures and how to avoid them. I think he was a little sad that I had taken so long to fix my teeth, as he appeared to believe dentures weren’t a foregone conclusion had I come in years earlier. But he agreed that it was now the best option. The office manager then went over payment and scheduling, and we got everything set up for the middle of next month. Only reasons I’m not giving 5 stars was the long wait (while it wasn’t really their fault, allowing walk-ins over scheduled appointments is a decision they made) and the lack of sedation... I’m a super nervous dental patient (hence the long time between visits). Having all my teeth yanked out with only local anesthesia seems like cruel and unusual punishment! Definitely will update with my extraction experience. Might be better than I’m dreading.

This has been literally the best dentist office I’ve ever been to in my entire life. Everyone from the front desk staff, the office manager, the hygienist, and the dentist himself were seriously amazing and so so kind. This is the first dentist office I’ve been to where I didn’t leave in pain or feeling subhuman. I was a little nervous after reading some of the bad reviews, but I have to say if any one in this office “gave you a problem”, it’s clearly because you’re the problem. I’ve done customer service for over 15 years and it’s so easy to tell who in these reviews is a problem everywhere they go. Even while I was checking in there were patients coming in clearly looking to cause issues and act combative. Everyone at this office is so accommodating, especially when I let them know I was switching insurance and wanted to get my work done before that change happened. They made sure to get all 3 appointments I needed done in the right amount of time, were very professional, and they were very clear when it came to finances. I have nothing but great things to say and will always recommend my friends and family come here.

I’ve had some teeth work and cleaning (long due) that I’d been putting off for a while but finally got some time to get it done and I am glad I chose this facility. The place itself is very clean, organized and up-to-date with technology. The staff (everyone I met, and I mean everyone) is highly knowledgeable, extremely kind and very efficient. I have always dreaded going to the dentist (most of us do) but this experience was rather pleasant. They know what they are doing and they do it good. The most uncomfortable part was probably the x-rays but Danisha (hope I am spelling it right) made it super easy and as comfortable as she could. Adam, the hygienist did my cleaning. He was thorough, took his time and did a fantastic job. Dr. Moosa did my fillings right after and he did an amazing job as well. He was gentle, efficient and funny. He would guide you through the process as he is doing it. I felt absolutely no pain or discomfort. Plus he is a delight to look at ;). Overall, one of the best dental places I’ve ever been to. Highly recommend this place.

It was not a good experience. Was first estimated a 4 hour surgery. Took 7 hours. They didn't let me know until the day of my extractions that I had to be there the next day. Which scheduling is hard for me because I take care of my mother who has stage 4 cancer and has many appointments. And I also take my grandson to and from school. So, they should of scheduled that prior. Then after my extractions I get antibiotics and sent home with NO pain meds. They worked very hard on my molars and after the shots wore off I was in pain really bad. Next day i asked for pain meds. Was told they do not allow or give pain meds. They should of told me that prior to doing my extractions. I would NOT of allowed them to do any of my work if I would of known that I had to go through the aftermath with only Tylenol and ibuprofen. I can't take care of others very well when I am in so much pain . I needed help and the doctor says she doesn't believe in pain meds. I consider that unfair.

Everyone seemed to be professional and courteous. Not sure now if that was real or just training to make it appear that way. I asked multiple times for them to check my insurance to make sure I had sufficient coverage and no one at any time gave me a straight answer. When I got to the office I waited for over an hour to be seen. When the appointment was over they presented me with a treatment plan in excess of $14,000.00 with my insurance covering only $1000.00 . It was apparent to me that they were out of network and the explanation I received was that dental insurance was not like medical. I guess they thought I would not check into that. At that point I was pressured to sign and to make a down payment, which I did not. Appears they are only interested in the bottom line and making money which makes me wonder about what kind of care I would really receive. I will be looking elsewhere for someone honest

These wonderful people are saving my smile. I’ve never been to a dentist that has made me feel welcome and motivated to take my oral care seriously. The office is clean, receptionists are friendly and welcoming. The hygienist was an Angel to me, she was very understanding of my situation and we got a plan going to get me back on track. I don’t have dental coverage so they helped me find the right plan for me for financing. I had to get a procedure done today, my appointment was started right on time. The room I was in was clean and organized. They took my pain very seriously and made sure It was controlled to make the process as quick as possible. I left alittle bit sore (as to be expected) but was so happy with the results. I am entrusting all my dental care to them and highly recommend others come here, especially if you have anxiety about the dentist.

I had chipped half of my front tooth off when I was in middle school. Had bonding put on it and it lasted 6 years before it chipped. Got it fixed and another 6 years before chipping. I had 2 teeth worked on at Aspen Dental. One chipped within 2 days and the front tooth chipped a week later. I got the front tooth fixed and the dentist said, “I’ll fix it for free this time but next time you either need to pay or get a crown.” The same day, less than 5 hours later the front tooth has chipped AGAIN. I was looking forward to getting my self-confidence back with getting the chip fixed and now I’m stuck with something that’s worse than before. I believe the dentist wanted to push for a crown because Hello, more money! I won’t be going back to get my teeth cleaned or any service. Everyone in the office is very nice but I feel that that’s a show for customers.

My bottom denture snapped in half, and was made in an Aspen Dental office in Florida several years ago. I moved to Albuquerque last winter, and this was the first time I needed denture care. I called the office late on Saturday, and got a call back from Christopher at 815am Monday morning, who basically said to come in ASAP and they'll get it fixed. Got in the office, and met Nikayla (I've probably butchered the spelling - my apologies) who was pleasant, energetic and professional. I got the denture back that afternoon, and all the interactions have been excellent. As I told the team there, I've been in Service & Support roles for 30+ years, and this group has more interest in helping their customers - in one fingertip - then anyone else I've met in Albuquerque. Go visit - but don't break your smile to do it. :-)

I am very grateful I decided to try Aspen Dental for the first time this past week, referred by my Father. The staff was very kind, welcoming, and were non-judgmental because I am a bit insecure about my teeth, they made me feel comfortable. They offer first exam and x-rays free for those without dental insurance, which is a huge plus for me. The Destist was very thorough, she showed me the pros and cons about my situation and answered all my questions. They are proactive Dental office and discussed a plan to best care for my teeth in future. Knowing my financial situation, their financial manager sat with me and discussed options and found what would work best for me. Thank you so much Aspen Dental - 2424 Louisiana Blvd, Albuquerque NM, for your wonderful care. Yes, I definitely will recommend them to others.

I got my wisdom teeth taken out yesterday I gotta say the doctor and the assistants/nurses were so great! I was so nervous that I started crying a bit in the chair and they wiped away my tears and reassured me everything was gonna be okay. One of the assistant even rubbed my shoulders reassuringly while we waited for the drugs to kick in. The doctor told what he was gonna do and That I wasn’t gonna feel a thing, which was true. I passed out and woke up which felt like 5 mins. Great people! Only thing is I wished the office was able to send my pain meds to my pharmacy before the procedure. Not their fault but I was having a small insurance issue with my pharmacy so there was a delay to get my meds that I wish I could’ve resolved earlier on. But overall, nice people and nice office!

From the moment I walked in, to the moment I left I felt taken care of and respected. From the front desk to the DA to the hygienist to the doctor to the office manager. I had all of my questions answered, a realistic and great treatment plan, and they were able to work with my budget. They didn’t pressure me to do any treatment I wasn’t comfortable with and they explained everything so thoroughly. I went in for my treatment and felt the same positive energy. Adam, my hygienist, made me feel so comfortable and helped me to stay positive about my teeth. I’ve always struggled with my teeth and he made me feel like it was possible to get my teeth where they need to be. I can’t thank the entire team enough for their kindness and respect.

Very disappointed with the last visit. I typically have a great experience but this time was very unsatisfactory. The dentist decided to pull several teeth and attempted to do so without explaining which teeth he was going to pull. When I asked him he then told me 2 of the front teeth. I said I didn’t want them pulled. He then said i should find a new dentist. He and his assistant then turned their backs on me to do paperwork (I’m assuming) and never looked back. I really like that particular dentist up until that point. I felt his actions were very inconsiderate and classless. Fortunately, my wife found another dentist who set up an appointment to have my teeth pulled and cast partials on the same date.

I decided to go here based on a good word of mouth reference however I was super disappointed. I went in for a cleaning and elective Invisalign. I was told I needed scalings, crowns, and fillings before I could even get what I wanted with aligners. The scalings, crown and fillings would have been over 2k after insurance. Aspen told me the crown was needed bc I had a cracked tooth- I did not. The scalings were needed bc all my perio measurements were 5+- they were not. They were all between 1-3 mm. I have previous working dental experience so I knew better but most people don’t. I went back to my old dentist and my treatment plan was $147 for a couple of fillings. I would highly recommend going elsewhere!

I am a veteran. One of the fantastic things Aspen Dental does is travel the country in a big 18 wheeler and provide free treatment for Veterans. That is how I was introduced to them. My teeth were hurting so bad that I was taking Motrin and the pain was still tremendous. I could barely eat as every bite was excruciating. It turns out that my last dentist did not do a good job and as a result, food was getting stuck deep down below my gum line. So, they x-rayed me, saw the problem and fixed the two fillings. They numbed me very well and I didn't feel a thing. The amazing staff, Bailey, Brittany, Victoria, Jennifer and the great dentist, Dr. Aurora took care of me so very well. I couldn't be more pleased.

  • Denise Cleary

I would like to thank the whole staff at Aspen Dental I was and still am very embarrassed about my situation but Dr. Aurora, Adam and Danisha were so honest and patient with me which made me feel like they really do care about you and just by talking to them they really do want to make you look and feel your very best. I do have work to be done and I would like to have a pretty and natural smile because in May of this year my son will be getting married and I believe that Dr. Aurora and his staff will be able to give me the smile I never had so Thank you for all you do and I will refer everyone I know so they will be able to have the same experience and caring that I did. Again Thank You!!

I've always had SEVERE crippling stupid anxiety about going to the dentist, BUT soon as I walked in and was greeted by one of the sweetest human beings ever, Kristopher, I felt a little at ease. With each person I met (I'm so sorry I'm bad at name's, but we will be getting to know each other ) I felt better and better. Even with the scary part at the end.. where you talk about money the way Kristopher talked with me... I mean this man you guys he seriously kicked all my anxiety away and I'm actually looking forward to going back and getting on the right track. Basically the moral of my story is, GO TO ASPEN DENTAL AND MEET LITERAL ANGELS. Thank you for reading ❤

  • Alexandria Garza

My first experience with aspen was back in the spring and they were wonderful. We made an appt for 6 mths later for reg cleaning. I show up to the 6mth appt and they want to charge $80!!! For fluoride and another set of X-rays. That’s fine but they did not relay this information at all. They took X-rays 6mths ago. I have never had to do this with another provider and the receptionist said the doctor preferred the X-rays very 6mth…. What is the point of my insurance covering regularly scheduled cleanings if they doc is going to nickel and dime you. So disappointed in Aspen Dental. Thought I found a great provider. Last but not least the receptionist is extremely rude.

When I went in, I was in real pain and couldn't even think straight. First, they got me an appointment right away. Second, all of the staff WAS SO NICE AND UNDERSTANDING! Third, everyone was really competent. They explained my problem and what had to be done. They did a series of redundant tests to make sure they were correct. There were no egos telling me how great they were or how long they have been in practice -- just concern for taking care of me. Victoria, John, Adam, and Dr. Aurora were very professional and very empathetic. I hate going to the dentist, but the Aspen Dental staff really took care of me. I have nothing but praise for all of them.

  • Marissa Baca

My husband and I had the best experience at Aspen Dental. We went in for a free exam and X-ray and I have been having excruciating pain from a tooth and they were able to get me in for the procedure the same day and it was very affordable. I called around to other places before Aspen and it was going to be triple the cost of what I paid here. I have some other procedures that need to be done and they outlined everything for us on a paper that we took home with all the prices listed. I will definitely be returning to them in the future it was pain free, convenient, they were very professional and followed all Covid guidelines to keep us safe.

  • Vickie Towne

Best dental exam ever. Professional and friendly staff that lets you know what they're doing at every step and why. Glad I went here. Addendum: No service after the initial couple of visits. We requested a phone call TWICE from the so called Assistant Office Manager about the treatment plan for another member of my family and have not received a call back. When asked about it while I was there, I was told a call was forthcoming and over a week later still no call. Dr.Aurora is amazing but his office management staff leaves a lot to be desired. Good thing is that the CareCredit card works elsewhere because that's where I'll be going.

  • Kiristie F

I have been to multiple dentists in Albuquerque and I felt like they were finding any little item they would change about my mouth to run the estimate up. I admit, being mom of 4, I let my mouth and my self-care lapse. The staff here were willing to take my mouth where it currently is, not very good. Accept that I am wanting to improve myself, and create a plan that will not totally kill my budget. Including Invisalign, and after paying for 4 kids in braces, I am excited to have less pain and stress on my mouth. They accept my insurance which helps, but they found discounts and ways to make it feasible to take care of me!

I had a 930 appointment my filling broke off couldn't eat nor bite down I was a new patient I went through the exam process X-rays ,exam for deep cleaning was even offered an X-ray for mouth cancer I went in for a broken filling by the time I had an actual Dr from India. come in it was hitting around 11am the Dr refused to treat my case and indicated that he wouldn't put himself on the line for a law suit to remove my tooth he insisted a crown he left me untreated I left the dentist office very angry and still with a broken filling location Louisiana ne area I'd never been left untreated in emergency case ever in my life

Approach this business with caution. Be warned that whatever financial understanding you think you have with this office is tenuous at best. Ask if you will have a bill for ever more money every time you open the door even if you have banked thousands with them. Be warned that if you think you have an appointment for ongoing work that is already paid for, that is also tentative until you cough up money. I’m not surprised their billing system was destroyed. They have no working relationship with ethics, morality, the law or the truth. You’re not a patient you’re a wad of cash to feed the greed beast. BE CAREFUL!

  • Cheryl Chavez

I have never had such an amazing experience as I have with this office. I have had extensive surgeries that involve my teeth and have been so afraid for over 30 years to get shots in my mouth and let me tell you with this office not one ounce of pain, not even a pinch. Each and every office staff member I came into contact with from the time I walked in to the time I left was not only professional but they actually care about you as a person!!! I will forever be grateful that I found them. They are the best I’ve ever been to and will recommend them to everyone I can!!!!

  • William and Heather clifford

Dr. Aurora, the Hygienist Adam, office manager John, dental assistants Victoria, Kira, Danisha, and PSR Yesenia are the most compassionate, understanding, and professional staff I have ever encountered. I would sincerely recommend to anyone that has dental work to be done go to Aspen Dental. Through the whole process they made me feel comfortable and at ease. Before I had my teeth done at Aspen I didn't smile and had low self esteem. The process of getting dentures has totally changed my life! Go to Aspen Dental you will be glad that you did. William C.

  • Russ Daniels

From the moment I walked in the door I felt very comfortable. It was my first visit so I needed a new patient exam, but I also had a toothache and really needed that addressed. Dr. Aurora was great and although I had a little wait, he squeezed me into his busy schedule and got me taken care of. 5 stars to his entire staff from the hygienist, his assistant (she was my favorite), his office manager...All top notch! I left with a future treatment plan and for the first time in my life look forward to going to the dentist. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

  • Irene Harroll

There's a new Aspen Dental office in the Albuquerque Uptown area, and they are amazing! They're honest, look out for YOUR interests, and won't charge an arm and a leg! I moved here from the Aspen Dental office in Cincinnati, and am delighted with even better service than I had before. Dr. Aurora (dentist/practice owner) treats you like his family and won't steer you wrong! Adam is the best hygienist I've ever had, and everyone working that office will make your dental experience perfect just for you. I highly recommend this practice!

  • elena villalobos

The Dentist was very short when asked questions and on my second appointment asked me to leave when I wanted some more clarification since it was my first time dealing with braces ever he stated he was not going to do it anymore and they took me into a office to get my money back. I wanted to cry in the way he treated me! The office manager even said “he was sorry and he never seen him act like that “ I want an apology and to hear back on this matter will be resolved he can’t turn me away for asking question! That’s his job!!!

  • fawas ayesh

This place is not somewhere u wanna go !! I walked in a some young girl was wearing her Pajamas at the front desk and she talked to me with attitude and I had to argue with her just to try and make a appointment. Felt like I was trying to buy a ticket at Carnival for seeing lady with 3 Snake head or World smallest midget !! People get attracted to come to this place because there a aspen in front of dental and that word will draw some attention. Do not come here !! Safe yourself time and headache !! Thank you !!!

  • Get Rect

Practices seem generally unfriendly. On surface they seem very nice but I asked for a consultation with no work done so I could decode if I wanted to be treated by them and they basically told me they don't do that. I don't jump into relationships with dentists - I need to get to know them before I let them in my mouth as I have special needs. Being turned away when asking for a new patient consult where they couldn't bill my insurance for tons of stuff tells me they care about money, not their patients.

  • Barbara

The original staff was astromical..I am including Adam and Chris the office manager It was a wonderful sales pitch but the actual "dentist "..and I say that in quotes was very uncaring I kept telling her that I was not numb..she kept injecting me until I finally said just finish..31/2 hours in that chair I intend to report her to the Board Also..no antibiotics prescribed? They were advised of my many body implants! Don't go here! Satisfaction guaranteed? I guess only if you are satisfied..I am not

  • Ashley Medina

The staff, treatment and overall environment was absolutely amazing. It's never fun to go to the dentist so it was awesome to spend so much time laughing and talking with the amazing staff. I was very well educated on everything going on in my mouth and the treatment was thorough and quick. I will be returning to complete the treatment plan that was reccomend to me. Thank you all so much for being absolutely amazing and making a broken tooth a much more enjoyable experience in your care.

  • Alaria Allen

Sierra, the receptionist, greeted me warmly and quick to process my new patient paperwork which was all done a tablet, which I wish more offices did. The dental hygienist, Adam, was very kind and because of his personable attitude, assured me I was in good hands. The Office manager John was was pleasant and walked me through everything I needed done and the related costs. This is by far the most pleasant dental visit I’ve ever had and will be referring family and friends to Aspen Dental!

  • Michelle Bowers

I had implants put in and i was nervous as hell. I wanted them to put me to sleep but they didn't, they just numb me. I thought I was going to be in a lot of pain after but i wasn't. Even after the numbness went away or the very next day but NOPE not even that. They make sure that you know exactly what going on and they decuss everything with you and that you understand. There are real good hard working employees there and I will not go anywhere else. Thank you guys for everything ❤️

  • Nick Bronson

Very friendly staff, from front office to dental techs to the dentist himself. And the woman who handled the insurance/billing was great. It is really nice to be treated like a human being instead of just a client or patient. All options were presented to me for my dental care, the pros and cons of each option were discussed, I was fully informed. And, while they are busy like most places, I never felt like they were just trying to get me in and out as quickly as possible.

  • Margaret Connealy

It is clear that the personnel are chosen and trained carefully. Everyone was service oriented and very kind and attentive. I had to wait but not too long and they were training a new staff member so that is why it took longer than usual. The dentist himself was very thorough and kind also. He seems to know what he was doing and gave me a fair and thorough review and treatment plan. I appreciated his honesty and care in letting me know what needed to be done for my teeth.

  • Martha Bliss

I am so happy and impresed by your office, your wonderful staff! The dotors are so kind that it makes it so easy to not be nervous!, The doctors are so great at not hurting you! The dental hygienest i(ADAM) is so experienced, I couldn't believe when he gave me the shot, it didn't hurt all all! All your other staff are so professional and kind! Thank you, thank you, thank you for the best experience I have ever had at a dentist ever! From one to ten, you get a twenty! !!

  • Dunia Patterson

I personally don’t like coming to the Dentist, Dr. Aurora and his team were diligent in assisting me with my corky request due to past trauma. Starting with scheduling my appointment to getting my check up, everyone was kind and understanding. The facility was very nice and clean, I definitely recommend this dental office. Nonetheless, Dr. Aurora was informative and will address actual concerns that should be fixed first, over pushing unnecessary services.

  • Allyson Turner

Intrigued by the ads, I was excited to try their new Albuquerque location. Every single member of my team was warm, compassionate, and informative. Starting with John's reminder call, to Kira for xrays, to Adam to help me understand my gum problems, to Dr Aurora who showed me what work I will need, to Ashton who helped me with the finances. I am completely satisfied with my visit and look forward to completing my perfect smile. Highly recommend!!

  • Mary Smith

Everyone was so kind the girl that did the x-rays was so calm and patient. I was having a hard time doing the x-rays and she kept reassuring me it was going to be ok. The dentist and hygienist and financial person were very knowledgeable and explained everything to me in detail. I'm typically afraid to go to the dentist because of past experiences but I'll definitely choose Aspen for all my dental work that will be coming up soon. Thank you

  • Beverly Wilson

I love Aspen dental. After visiting another dentist who just referred me to a oral surgeon. I went to Aspen, the people were great, and informed me every step of the way about my dental issues, they also did an extraction, that the other dentist said I needed a oral surgeon for. It went very easy, they handled it, and afterward my pain was very minimal. I recommend Aspen dental to others. I am going to continue to see them in the future.

  • Randy Randall

I made an appointment with them for my daughter because they advertise "free initial exam and exrays" then when we get there they tell me it's $124....... It does not specify anywhere in your online ad or the graphic in your office window "for people 21 and up only". I'm pretty sure it's illegal and fraudulent to advertise a "free" service then when someone arrives for said "free" service you tell them it is going to be $124 charge.

  • Marian Jones

I am so glad I went to Aspen Dental.. I went there to get an additional tooth on my Flipper. A through examination, determined ,I have more serious issues wth my teeth. The staff and the Doctor did a through job to formulate the appropriate treatment plan. The financial manager worked with me to come up with a financial plan. All of my questions were answered in regard to what will happen during treatment plan, and post treatment.

  • Carol Adams

We interviewed 2 other denture practices for my husbands dentures and chose Aspen Dental. And what a great decision. Everyone in this practice, from Michael at the front desk to the lab people are tops in our opinion. We needed a fast turnaround and they met our need. The dentist was professional and we immediately trusted her. We will use Aspen Dental in Albuquerque and any other city where we need dental services.

  • Sharron Pollom

OMG!!! Everyone was just so AWESOME!!!! I have a rather slapstick sense of humor and it was taken very well. Everyone was concerned with the problems I had with my previous dentures and so very nice with the things I needed to get done to get my smile back. Dr Aurora is absolutely AWESOMENESS itself!!!! I'm going to be definitely be referring others here. Best dentist I've been to in many, many years. YAY!!!!

  • Victor M

Used car sales men only with your health and teeth. It felt so much like I was trying to be sold unnecessary procedures. I will most definitely not go back. They told me I had zero cavities and almost perfect teeth yet they found something to try to sell me. $2000 dollars worth of dental work for perfect teeth? Please please I advise you to go somewhere else. They will be taking advantage of you.

  • Wanda Sanchez

This is an amazing place that truly has helped me with my needs, have been trying for months to get service’s, with disappointment, and frustration every time. John the office manager, to front and staff, and of course the dr. we’re a sigh of relief for me, that actually wanted to help and make it successful for me. Kudos to the amazing people their and the dr. That owns this place..

  • C Ortega

Waste of time and extremely expensive. Dentist was very short and seemed to be annoyed and bothered with all questions. Refused to save any teeth and attempted to convince for most expensive option (which was 35,000 implants). After discussing with a different dentist that cared somewhere else the cost was half the price for all options AND real teeth were saved and look beautiful.

  • Mary Downing

They are so nice there. Willing to do anything you need to get my smile back. I needed a new upper parcel we seen them, but my husband wanted to ck. With his dentist first. He was more expensive then Aspen and not very nice. So I'm going with aspen. They fixed my upper in an hour. It was split down the middle. And I will get my new parcel in 2 weeks. I'm so very pleased with them.

  • Laura Grimm

All of my visits to Aspen Dental in Albuquerque have been overwhelmingly positive. The staff are very caring and are there to make you feel safe and comfortable! Dr. Perez is phenomenal, very thorough and thoughtful. She explains all procedures in great detail and she's very kind! They are a wonderful team and I very highly recommend this dental office! Thank you all so much!

  • Luis Loretto

Went in for an emergency. Asked if I can get half a root canal done, and then the other half later, because of my financial situation. Waited one hour and a half just to be told that they are simply not willing to do that even though I explained my situation on phone before hand. Why even bother booking me an appointment and waste my time. Definitely not coming here again.

  • Miguel Jaime

My wife came here for some dental work as a new patient, and she had an excellent experience. All of the staff was friendly and made her feel at ease. From Kris the front office staff, Adam the hygienist, and John in the back office, everyone was kind ajd outgoing during something that can be a stressful experience. We look forward to dealing with Aspen Dental again.

  • N J

The staff was amazing, from my first call, to our first appointment, was amazing! We were embarrassed with the thought of dentures, now we have a game plan, and are excited enjoy smiling, and being able to eat, without pain. Thank you all, from the techs, Dr , and Kristopher you sir are fantastic! Thank you so for your help getting us set up. Appreciate you all

  • Maria Gonzales

You will LOVE this dental office. Christopher at the front desk is wonderful! Dr. Aroura is an amazing dentist. He is very knowledgeable and personable. His work is excellent, and you can tell he has high standards of excellence by the atmosphere in his Albuquerque clinic. My mother and I are glad to have found Aspen Dental in Albuquerque and Los Lunas!

  • Arthur Falconer

My appointment brought me into contact with the most comprehensive group of dental and business professionals I have ever met in one meeting. Beginning with your wonderful receptionist who began my contact to the business manager who developed my program the visit was an unexpected meeting. I am actually looking forward to having the ability to eat again.

  • karen marcum

The staff was friendly and courteous. The price they quoted me was over 19K to fix my teeth. I was numb with sticker shock! Went to another dentist and took their estimate to him and they beat Apen Dentals quote by $15,000 ! Needless to say that ASPEN DENTAL IS VERY VERY OVER PRICED!!! Do yourself a favor and go to a dentist that has reasonable prices. :D

  • Robert B

This place is awesome. I would highly recommend this place for anyone looking to have work done. The staff here are very friendly and respectful. WAY BETTER THEN THE OTHER PLACE. LOL. Please done ever turn into the other place. Keep the friendly and inviting environment you guys have. All of you are the best. Thank you.

  • kate rusk

The dentist is awesome! I’ve always been scared of going to the dentist but everyone at Aspen is great. They take the time to explain things and make sure you understand all your options. I recommend them for anyone who has reservations about going to the dentist. They are the best dentist I have ever been too.

  • Marisol Barroso

This dental office is amazing ... All the staff are very helpful, friendly and respectful. Christofer is so nice and he does his job very well. And the receptionist super kind and helpful. Everyone who helped me was very nice. Thank you all there I change my way of thinking about those visits to the dentist.

  • Laura Montoya

Went through with invisalign. Many appointments, over a year. During the end of my treatment, it did not look anything like the computer image that was promised at the beginning. I told Aurora it doesn't look like the image. All he said was "I am not God". Got taken for $3,000. Don't get taken like I did.

  • Camryn C

I came to Aspen dental in an emergency but they handled everything with such care. They were able to remove my tooth the same day without breaking the bank! I totally recommend going to the Louisiana location, everyone was so kind and made me feel a lot better in a scary situation! Thank you all so much!

  • Teresa Perea

My experience with this Dental office has been excellent from day one of my first visit. Dr Aurora is a superb dentist. He and the staff are very gentle and careful with the work that needed to be done with me. I would recommend and encourage anyone to get all the dentistry needs done with Aspen Dental.

  • Valley Girl

Everyone at Aspen Dental was so kind. From the moment I walked in each person was so welcoming. Going to the dentist is not a place I want to be but they all made me feel comfortable.Dr Perez is such a nice dr! Each step was explained to me. I was constantly asked if I was ok. I highly recommend Aspen!

  • Erin Smith

I have a craniofacial difference, so performing dentistry on me is always a challenge. Aspen met that challenge with enthusiasm and always made me feel welcome. They also never once made me feel shame, which is something most dentists do, in my experience. Love this place. The staff feels like family.

  • Kaleb Campbell

The staff were courteous. The dentist, not so much. Extremely arrogant. I asked a question about how an overbite can cause super eruption of the teeth and that apparently bruised his fragile ego. Usually I find that dentists/doctors are eager to talk about the specifics of their craft. Not this guy.

  • Vincent Green

This was only my second time visiting a dentist . I had 3 teeth removed and a couple of stitches . As I got here I really didn’t know what to expect , but I got a comfortable feeling . The gentleman and ladies working there are amazing ! Thank you guys so much ! Very professional, and and kind !

  • Sandra Hacker (Hackerchick)

They done everything right. They are reasonably priced. They care about you and if you are in pain they do everything they can to get you out of pain. I will tell everyone I know to go to Aspen Dental. They great and I can't wait to get my teeth pulled and dentures put in the same day. …

  • Andrew Long

Much better the second time around. Had 2 teeth pulled at 5:30 last night. The doctor took her time making sure i was numb and i didn't feel a thing while she did it. This morning I woke up to very little pain. Overall, it was about as good an experience as I could have had at the dentist.

  • Yafei Chen

Staff working there are so professional and efficient! Especially they listen to patient and take care of patients with high standard, scientifically and morally. Dr. Nguyen and her assistant did fanatical extraction job this morning and saved my life. I wanna say thanks to them forever!!

  • Ronald Martin

Had a great experience with the staff. Kudos to Adam for being friendly and giving me encouragement. The entire staff from the receptionist to the hygienist, and the dentist & the guy who did the consult were amazing. My wife and I felt comfortable and are thankful we were welcomed.

  • Asya Williamson

So far it’s been a great experience. I have to say, although the entire team is professional and friendly, I am most impressed with their dental hygienist, Adam. He’s spectacular. He explains exactly what he’s doing and why. Felt super comfortable from first appointment. Thank you!

  • Greg Baca

Everyone was great. My dental plan for me was explained in detail and I felt good about my visit. My wife and I had questions and they were answered professionally, and all my procedures were explained in detail and now I will start my process. Thank you Aspen Dental Team...

  • Melody Dalton

My initial visit was inspiring and I thought we were on the same page. I had several teeth pulled on their recommendation. I now have partials that they refuse to fix to make me more comfortable with my smile. They have been unwilling to work with me. Do not recommend.

  • Nathaniel Reese

Great experience. No one likes going to the dentist but EVERYONE there at Aspen Dental made it very pleasant, from the receptionist up to the dentist himself. Very friendly environment yet as professional as can be. Need a dentist? Aspen Dental is where you need to be!

  • RUCHI GERA

I have NEVER EVER felt this Relaxed in a dental chair. I have always been very apprehensive of dental treatments and have a lot of sensitivity in all my teeth. But this visit at the dentists was a piece of Cake!!! I am actually looking forward to my next appointment:)

  • cameron weimorts

A can't thank these professionals enough. After calling 20 different dentists to get an emergency appointment none of them could fit me in. Called Aspen told them that I have been in horrible pain for the last 3 days and that made me a priority.... Thank you Aspen.

  • Jenfer

I had the best experience at Aspen dental. I think I’m still in shock that I enjoyed my experience. Everyone was so helpful and when I left I had all my questions and concerns answered. They helped me and I’m thankful for all the people who work at aspen dental.

  • Mark Blemish

It’s been six years since I’ve seen a dentist. Everyone there was friendly and made me feel comfortable. I’ll continue with them. Their checking in process was on an iPad and was the easiest I’ve ever done, no stress with being a first time patient. All good.

  • Beth Grady

I am new in town and had a dental emergency. They got me in within 2 hours of my call, and everyone was so professional, efficient, and kind! A big shout out to Kristopher for quickly tracking down my insurance info! They are my new dentist office for sure.

  • Elizabeth Dlouhy

Aspen is a little pricey, but very clean and comfortable. The comfort of the patient is important to them. The assistant and I laugh a lot. The Dr. was a good man and knew just what was going on with the tooth. He took care of it and explain it on the x-ray.

  • Tina M.

Dr. Aroura and his asst., Susie were fantastic. I feel a million times better already! They had so much patience and were so kind. The receptionist, Sierra, made me feel comfortable when I called which made me confident to set an appointment. Thank you.

  • Lourdes Grafe

From the moment you walk into Aspen Dental, you are greeted with a pleasant professional who immediately explains the process if you are new to their office. Everything is explained completely. Thank you for providing such great customer service!

  • chrissy jeter

I loved the professionalism and friendliness of the staff. Every person I encountered was great. All of the costs were given to me ahead of time and the doctors were very thorough and explanatory. I will recommend to all of my friends and family.

  • Jennifer Winters

I have had quite a bit of work done over the last 6 months. Most of it has been painful but through it all, all the employees have made me very comfortable! I love Kristopher, Adam, and Nikayla...thank you for making this process more bearable.

  • Mary Lou Sarracino

I am terrified of dental work. It was hard for me. I thank Adam for being a compassionate and caring person and VERY good at what he does. Kristopher is and as always has been fantastic for both my husband and myself. I know I am in good hands!

  • Scott Mathews

VERY BAD EXPERIENCE with inexperienced and ubprofessional crew. Work plan was presented as one thing and changed due to lack of clarity and poor communication. Seems like every visit seemed to have different or new staff. Would NOT RECOMMEND.

  • sierra cisneros

I absolutely loved my experience here. It was my first time and I felt so taken care of and welcome. Each person I met was kinda, and very informative. The environment was so friendly and energetic. Also, for the first time I felt a part of

  • D J

Most amazingly care they give on the first day. The wait was worth it. I love how my teeth feel right now and they are kind and all of their staff members are amazingly nice and respectful show they care. I recommend anyone to come here.

I can’t say thank you enough to the dentist I went to today on Louisiana across from Coronado mall. I broke 3 of my teeth falling on stairs and I have implants so because my natural teeth were so white I got white with my implants. The

Hands down the BEST dental clinic in Albuquerque! Dr. Aurora and the entire staff treated us like family and worked until my mom's dentures had the perfect fit. Highly recommend this office. I'll be switching to this office as well.

  • Sid Carter

The place was clean the people were more than AWESOME!!! However, they did not call in the antibiotics that were in desperate need!!! Other than that it was overall a Great Dental Visit, the staff and doctor himself were Womderful!

  • Marianne Jones

Great staff and the doctor was incredible. The actual tooth extraction only took seconds there was no pain and now a week later it is healed. From the moment I got home I never even knew it had happened. Thank you for being open.
