For the price in local currency I was expecting a more luxurious room and amenities. It turns out I'm just paying for the location and view. Comfortable beds, nice swimming pool, friendly staff, tasty variety in all-you-can-eat breakfast (included). I stayed a night they were hosting a wedding party and the room was 6floors over the outdoor party venue. The sound insulation was not enough to block it and it was a bothersome. However the party ended early at around 11pm on the Saturday. I don't think that would prevent me from staying there again but I think it's important to point this out.

modern and huge rooms , beautiful ocean views . if u need to stay around this area (Recreio dos bandeirantes ) I highly recommend this place. only 5 min away by car to the supermarket and shopping mall. if you enjoy surfing ,the waves are just a block away. the wifi was weak in my room but others had no problems at all( like every hotel)

Bugs! There were bugs in the bed and on the walls and the tables. We went to the desk and asked for another room and they charged us another $105r and this room also has bugs.

The service and amenities were excellent. The decor was both sparse and dated; not Spartan, but tacky and empty feeling. It made for an upcoming atmosphere, but the excellent staff and service made up for that.

Was an excellent stay, with very good and clean room. The staff was amazing, organized and flexible. Good room service and good breakfast. For sure is ans excellent choice for tha region in the Rio de Janeiro

Rooms are very spacious, hotel is in front of the beach, it has rooftop swimming pool and service. Nice breakfast with cakes, fresh fruits, juices... staff is friendly and helpful. Fair price.

Very nice hotel, with good rooms and beautiful beach view. The only problems I had were with the shower, which changed water temperature randomly, and some stained towels.

Right in front of the beach, clean and with good breakfast and price. Nice views too.

Nice hotel! In front of many sport events start lines, like triathlon and marathon.

I loved my visit. Everything there was amazing! I can't imagine a better place.

The location is good if you want to relax and forget urban stuffs like traffic.
