It has taken me a year to write these comments, I hope they are better late than never. In June 2022, Atlas Canada packed my house in Georgetown Ontario, loaded it for my move to Victoria. Because I did not have a house yet, in Victoria, I organized storage with Adams Storage, and made sure Atlas Canada had all the information. The day Atlas Canada arrived in Victoria, the driver phoned me directly asking where to drop things off, he could not (or would not find) Adams Storage, but suggested I use MOBOX because that’s where he was, and they had storage space. Yes, it was upsetting when he called me and not his manager, but I agreed because the driver was clearly at his wits end. In June 2023, I had purchased my new home, and had moving men deliver from MOBOX to my new location. The Storage locker was pack full – there was no room left for another box – but many of the items that had been wrapped in Georgetown, were no longer unwrapped. Was there wen the movers I hired in Victoria packed and moved everything from storage. It took me awhile to unpack everything, but I soon learned at least three boxes were missing. A box of blue rays, a box of older books, and a box of odds and end. Things I know I packed, and absolutely know I packed because I wanted with me in Victoria. There might be more boxes. When I contacted Atlas Canada about the missing boxes, they firmly told me their responsibility was over as soon as the driver loaded everything into the storage. They suggested the storage had taken the missing boxes (although there was no room for even one more box in the bin I purchased. They agreed to do a nod-binding search, and in less than three days came up with nothing. Who is at fault. Well, I guess I am for thinking I was paying for trusted professionals, that I didn’t need to double check every item. Perhaps I am at fault for agreeing the driver could use the storage he wanted, because he wasn’t familiar with Victoria and couldn’t find the address for the storage I’d organized. I guess I am for believing Atlas Canada would hire people who could be trusted, who know what they are doing, and even go the extra distance (if necessary) to care for their clients’ objects. Of course, I was wrong to assume any of this. Color me naïve. I have learned my lesson. There have got to be better moving companies than Atlas Canada, and I highly recommend you spend the extra money and hire professionals who care about their service, and their clients.

Everything started just fine. We had no problems with the agent that we coordinated our move with and we were very pleased until the actual move happened. Besides the move, we requested the service of packing. Everything seemed fine, but as we were unpacking you can see the guys did a really poor job. First of all, they took way longer than promised and it was like they got bored. Within the same box, they packed a few glasses from the kitchen, a bag from the closet, some decor from the living room, and it was just a mess in every single of the boxes. Which obviously all the "labeling" was wrong because the mixed everything. Also, they did not packed certain items because they didn't have the right boxes/tools (understandable) and told us that they were going to communicate with the office to make sure they brought the right stuff to pack the remaining items when the movers come. Moving day came and the movers had absolutely no knowledge of the items that weren't packed properly, so they did not bring the proper materials to do so. They promised it was going to be fine, so we just let them work. They ended up taking double the amount of time as promised. Once our things got delivered, we noticed that some of our things were just shoved in the vaults and several things got damaged. We submitted a claim and didn't hear a single response until 6 weeks later, and only because we reached out one of our contacts in high management. They refused to pay for one of our monitor screens that they cracked (which was in fact one of the items they didn't properly packed and it was just wrapped on the blanket) We requested for that to be paid as well and no answer since. It has been 2 months now since we submitted our claim and NOTHING has resolved and they haven't even paid us the initial amount they told us they were going to pay to deal with our damages. This was a move that cost us over $10K and we had insurance on it! And they can't answer one simple e-mail or phone call. WORST COSTUMER SERVICE EVER!!! Specially coming from their Claim Department. Never again, and definitely telling all of our contacts to not hire them.

Terrible driver in Cambridge Ontario. Neighbours were moving to Calgary and transport truck driver decided to intentionally cut across my front lawn when leaving because they didn't know how to back out of a court which left a half foot deep tire divot. Wouldn't trust Atlas to move my stuff after seeing driving like that and not taking responsibility for the property damaged caused by an unqualified and careless driver. After contacting Tawny Irvine, Client Experience Specialist from Atlas van lines, her response was "Unfortunately, from past experience we are not permitted to repair city property (grass, trees, etc)" So if your trucks are driving around damaging city property, trees, etc., you're not taking responsibility for it? Seems like this incident would qualify for a dangerous/careless driving charge. - in response to April 28 comment from Atlas owner: The reason why you reached out to the City was because I called you out on not taking responsibility for your employees actions and the property damage done. When I first inquired about it the response was "Unfortunately, from past experience we are not permitted to repair city property (grass, trees, etc)". So similar situations have happened before in other cities and Atlas basically dishes it off and puts responsibility onto the City to complete repairs and says good luck trying to figure it out, not our problem. Good job Atlas and congratulations on figuring out the loophole to avoid taking responsibility and liability for property damages. Anyone impacted by your company should be considered a customer and any good company would do the best they can for a quality customer experience. Unfortunately that's not evident in your company culture.

Atlas Van Lines moved my household at the beginning of November/22. From South Surrey, BC to Gatineau Quebec. That was via their agent AMJ Campbell Van Lines (Vancouver). I did a fair bit of research. My consultant was Anthony. I had a container move and sold most of my furniture in order to fit into two containers. The move was around $8600 which turned out to be slightly less than estimated which was a nice surprise. All contacts with Atlas (AMJ Campbell) were very satisfactory from beginning to end. From Anthony, to the movers/packers in S.Surrey who were great hard working guys and packed those containers like pro's without an inch to spare. At this end, Atlas held my delivery for a couple weeks while the house was getting ready. The unloading here went smoothly with those strong men zipping up and down the stairs of this 3 storey home; a super hard job it is. (The one negative I would mention is for the company to pay closer attention to their furniture blankets. When I unwrapped a large upholstered chair about 6 weeks later, the blue blanket on it was filthy - looked like it had mud on it.) There was not a thing damaged. (I did my own packing and the key to that is to pack everything very tight with lots of of crumpled paper and filler in every little gap so nothing can move inside the boxes.) But the AMJ Campbell movers in BC packed my big pictures, a 55" tv & mirrors and did a great job. (Picture and wardrobe boxes are cheaper with Atlas than rounding them up from other sources. Maybe other boxes too but I didn't require any others as my packing was already done.) I recommend this Company and would use their services again.

Overall a good experience with a move from a large city to a smaller town, with a couple of issues. First, we were able to have a load day with the unload day the following day confirmed, rather than a window of time. This meant much less upheaval. Very positive. 1. was offered a package of moving materials by the company, but when I went to retrieve them from their office / warehouse, was first sent to three different doors, then when got to the right door nobody seemed to know anything about it. Overall, it took about an hour to get the promised materials. 2. The agent has a very spiffy software package that is supposed to estimate the needs and weight for the move. However, in the end, it was off on the weight by about 20%. Not that accurate. 3. The company had requested we shift our loading day one day forward, and we agreed. However, the driver called on the original loading day to say he hadn't been told of the change and to ask if he could load on that day. This wasn't possible for us, but I felt bad for the driver's wasted time. 4. The company was only able to find one person to assist the driver in the unloading process. I found a second person who assisted, and assisted myself. 5. Despite meticulously labelling boxes for locations within the house, when the move was complete we found many boxes not where they should be. OK for smaller boxes; not so much for large and heavy ones, especially if they were on the wrong floor and had to go up or downstairs. Overall, satisfied as to cost and lack of horror stories that seem to abound with the moving industry. But not a perfect experience.

Edit: As I have received a reply from the company, I want to update my review. I don't have any photographic evidence connecting the movers and the truck to the company. The movers were wearing Atlas uniforms so I have no reason to doubt they worked for Atlas. Checkered Flag (the company on the truck) is a rental company that rents their trucks out. Didn't use their moving service but had an encounter with them. I live on a small street and these guys had parked their truck blocking the entire street. It's 6pm and I'm trying to get home from work but I can't get past the truck. The first two guys I talked to were very unprofessional and rude. They told me "too bad. We're here for another hour and we can't move it" and just left. The third guy was a bit better. He said he can't move it but offered to help guide me through the narrow space. "it's okay. Lots of people have made it through" (as if that makes it okay to block the street). I eventually got through but even so, it was very inconvinient and the narrow space was very dangerous. If I had gone a few inches in the wrong direction, I would've hit the curb or the truck. The truck said checker flag and I asked if he worked for them. He said no and that he worked for a moving company. I saw on his shirt that it said Atlas. These guys were very unprofessional and if they're the kind of people who works for this company, then I think you should rethink hiring them. If you can't trust them to park properly and respectfully, then how can you trust them with handling your belongings?

Our experience was quite mixed with our move from Vancouver Island to central Alberta. The company which we contracted in Victoria, is an affiliate to Atlas Van lines. They responded promptly with our estimate for our move and showed up as promised on the day of the move. Unfortunately, they seriously underestimated our volume and ended up having to call in a second truck for the overload. The first truck arrived at our destination on time as promised, however, this is where the problem starts. Nobody could tell us when the second truck was going to arrive. As a matter of fact, they stopped communicating with us altogether. I would have to call an hope someone would pick up my call, I even left messages which no one would return. When I was able to talk with someone, I wasn't given a definitive answer as to when we would receive our goods. I fully understand the labor shortage but for God sake, communicate with your customers. After several calls and several weeks, we finally spoke to someone who told us our stuff was on the way to the Okanagan, again, no one called to even say it had been loaded and was on its way, after a month. Now, that being said, all of our goods arrived in perfect condition with nothing missing from either load. Everything was handled, wrapped and treated with great care. All drivers and movers were respectful, well mannered and again, were very professional. I would recommend them again but if I have one complaint, it would definitely be the lack of communication.

I made a move within Alberta. Two packers came, and one was very unprofessional, commenting on all my items, complaining and whining about having to pack everything. The other packer was great. The crew that came out to load and transport my goods were also good, very helpful. It was the same crew who unpacked my items, and again there were no issues with them. They did note that some of my items were damaged in transport and did their best to make some of the items useable. The unpackers never did show up and I was never notified nor given a reason. So I unpacked the boxes myself, which exposed more damaged items. The company rule is that you have 60 days from delivery date to file any claims. I asked several times (7) throughout this period how to submit a claim and was finally sent a claim form 80 days after my delivery date. They keep stating that I only have 60 days to claim, even though they didn't send the form until day 80, and they still have yet to pick up the boxes and paper. The individual workers who came out were good (with the exception of the one packer), but any of the administrative staff have been a nightmare to deal with. I'm still trying to get the packing materials removed and a claim made nearly 4 months after my move.

I am posting this review at the request of my sister-in-law as follows - I am a recently widowed senior citizen. I am not computer literate. After 35+ years in my home I made the move from Montreal to Calgary. My furniture was damaged, items lost and I was charged for damage done by the agents of King's Transfer/Atlas. They damaged the freight elevator at my new residence as well as additional damage (i.e., spilt paint) all of which they held me financially responsible for. They initially denied me any compensation for damage to my furniture. They would only accept pictures of damage uploaded to their claims website. Again, I am not computer literate. Thankfully I had an independent estimate done as soon as I discovered the damage and as a result they were forced to accept my claim and make numerous repairs. When my belongings arrived at their destination the employees of Kings Transport/Atlas began unpacking my belongings without me being present making an accurate count impossible. I was rushed to sign documents without proper explanation and they held me responsible for damage caused by their employees. While it is cliche, they took advantage of a senior citizen who is not computer literate and used it to their advantage. Helen Economedis

Worst experience ever!!! The packers just threw everything in boxes without a care, they used my patio umbrella because it was a hot day and smoked under it, they ended up burning holes in it!!! I didn’t notice until days after my move and the company wouldn’t help me, no one in my family smokes!! They damaged walls when loading and when delivering. The delivery truck driver told me again and again as he saw all my damaged items to make sure I keep a note of it all and take pictures so I can claim it online, he even showed me where to go online. When I submitted my claim Atlas denied my entire claim because the driver himself didn’t write anything down. They lost items and because I didn’t notice right away it’s my fault, but unless you were going to use it right at that moment who remembers every single item in their home??? They refused to acknowledge the lack of damage as noted on their documents on my furniture when loading and then the significant damage upon receipt. They simply stated the driver didn’t note it “I signed for delivery too bad” Will NEVER move with Atlas again!!! BEWARE!!!!!

I've moved across Canada multiple times. I've used AMJ Campbell (an Atlas agent) twice. Never, ever, ever again! My move out crews were fantastic and the crews that handled the moves on the other end into my new homes were absolutely terrible. The first time, there was supposed to be 3 men, but only 2 showed up because they said they'd been partying hard the night before and the 3rd guy was too out of it. More recently, the crew that delivered my goods was in such a rush that they piled heavy boxes on top of others that had big FRAGILE signs on them. They put the content lists facing the wall and other boxes so there was no way to tell what was inside (when I asked them not to do that). And I just learned they crammed my dolly so hard into my storage unit that I had to contact my building manager, who had to deconstruct the shelving in the unit, to get the dolly out because they'd jammed it. To top it all off, AMJ lost and damaged so many items. Worst moving experience ever! And over the top pricey, which was ok when I thought I was getting experienced, professional crews. Sadly, not the case.

Would give 0 stars if I could! Check consumer report and Better Business Bureau! Literally every piece of furniture was damaged, electronic boxes were "missing", and there were oil stains that seeped into book boxes and on computer chair... Was moving one province over. Received a quote for 4500$, but they kept adding fees so it ended up costs 7200$. They charged us for parking permits, but they were only small metal signs that were put out less than 12 hrs before the move, and that were not enforceable: so I had to pay an extra $400 because they had to come back a different day because there was no place to park. They charged for TV boxes but only used a furniture blanket... We had insurance, so we submitted a claim that was almost 7k, but Atlas said no one was there for delivery so it was invalid( we literally open the house for them, so how could we not be home?). Hounded then for months, and either didn't respond or strung us along. Never saw a dime. Honestly one of the biggest regrets of my life.

  • Bob Berreth

The estimate was so far off! When I asked the driver about payment he told me I could pay any way I wanted, that was not the case and we needed a bank draft or credit card payment for the whole amount in order to get our things. Our credit card does not have that kind of limit and we moved from the province so a bank draft from our credit union was not an option. We were told our items would not be released without the full payment of Over $4000 more than in the written estimate. To be that far off indicates to me that the evaluator does not know how to do his job. Or that he does and he has been instructed to bid low for the business, I don't know the motive behind that vast difference. The driver told us we would get a refund. We have not received it. The unloading team was rude and carried on tasteless conversation. Very poor service! I will not recommend this company!

I struggled a long time to find a reliable moving company online after seeing all those scams stories. At last I found Atlas that is with AMJ Campbell, who is partner with CCA, and I'm like, this has to be the one. They didn't charge cheap, but their price has been consistent through the whole process. Their quote was accurate and didn't give me any surprises and sudden surcharge. As for the movers, they were simply professional, amazing and very friendly to my wife too. We chose the full packing services and had everything nicely packed - nothing was broken. The driver was communicative too, we didn't have to worry about our furnitures missing. From the east coast to the west coast, all our stuff arrive in just 3 weeks. Really recommended for anyone who wants to move without a headache.

  • T Tapper

Our move involved short term storage of our effects in Winnipeg for approximately 20 days before moving them to Calgary. The moving crews and drivers on both ends were 5 star, and absolutely excellent. Everything arrived in perfect condition condition. The only issue we had was with scheduling the delivery of our effects in Calgary. Atlas would only give us a one week window for delivery and not a specific date and you are only notified the day before the delivery that it will be arriving. Consequently, I spent $150 on parking permits with the City of Calgary to secure no parking zones in front of my house. If Atlas could refine their scheduling this would have been a 5 star move. With the cost of the move we did not need an additional $150 in expenses.

  • LISA BAUMBUSCH

We had used Atlas for an International move 20 years ago and remembered what a good experience it was so decided to use them again. We were pleased with the exceptional customer service we received and attention to detail. We had excellent service from every member of the team involved from the sales office, local office, packers and the driver who took our furniture cross country and delivered it. Our driver called me two days before delivery and was very professional. I was not at the delivery location at the time of delivery and had a friend accept furniture at my house. My driver set up my furniture from my instructions and kept me informed along the way. He even sent me pics! He was amazing. I would definitely use Atlas again because I trust them!

When I asked friends who I should move with, 3 of 4 friends recommended AMJ. Had a great experience from Ottawa (shout outs to Kyle, Lynn, Syd, Adrian and Pedro) to Edmonton (shout outs to Tristan and Darren). Many of the AMJ staff went above and beyond. My only worry during the whole process was around the stuff arriving. The Ottawa office staff were so on top of it that I had an expectation that I’d be getting a call leading up to the crew arriving since communications were very open on the Ottawa side. Lynn from Ottawa even tracked down the contact for me so I could be sure my stuff was arriving the following day. Tristan also went above and beyond when a concerned neighbour stopped by about some AMJ delivery issue. Thank you so much everyone!

Working with Atlas agents (specifically Jay's Moving agents) was like visiting an island of calm in a storm of chaos. The agent we dealt with was clear, communicative, patient, and friendly. I would give the company 5 stars except the loader was less respectful of our belongings than I would have liked. He was rough, tipped a bin and spilled it's contents and just repacked it without checking in or saying sorry, didn't follow clearly labelled instructions (like pictured: tipping a "this way up" box on it's side), and stacked boxes high without adequately considering weight distribution (thus all but one of our bins came back completely crushed). Luckily the contents of our boxes/bins were not damaged, but the behaviour raises concerns.

  • Lori Perkes

DO NOT use this company! They underestimate the cost by 50% and then do not want to load everything and want to leave most of your stuff behind because they are tired Then they FORCE you to sign their BINGO form on delivery and say it is just a confirmation of delivery. THEY DON'T TELL YOU THAT YOU ARE SIGNING AWAY YOUR RIGHTS TO MAKE A CLAIM EVEN THOUGH YOU PAID A FORTUNE FOR INSURANCE! Several items were missing - all the valuable items too! Morley at Mackie in Oshawa/Ajax is a total FRAUDSTER!!!! He won't inventory anything - force you sign away your rights and then make you buy them dinner to finish loading and expect a big tip. RUN FROM THIS COMPANY AND MACKIE !!! We lost THOUSANDS of $$$$ in personal items !!!

  • Tom Gath

Absolutely amazing service!! I called to get a quote for a Calgary to Ontario move. They called me back right away, booked a Saturday morning in-home consultation and gave me an estimate by Monday morning...which was a bit lower than what I had gotten by any company up until that point. On moving day they arrived on time, with 5 movers. They wrapped and loaded a three bedroom house in 3 hours, which included taking apart 3 beds, a table and a desk. They were extremely professional, courteous, polite and personable. I was amazed! Delivery was just as great! Mike and Randy were an amazing contact and mover/delivery rep. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend these guys to anyone and I'll definitely use their services again!

  • Debbie

We hired Atlas Van lines through their affiliate Canadian Van Lines out of Kenora Ontario to move us from Ontario to Alberta in October of 2022. This was the worst decision I have ever made. I have never seen so much damage with so little caring of peoples things in my entire life. Many things came broken including an antique china cabinet which cannot ever be replaced or repaired and some things were never delivered at all. When I tried to sort this out with the Kenora office I was told I was advised to purchase a better insurance policy. If you are such great movers my belongings should be taken care of like you claim without all the extra insurance, lord knows you charge enough for the move!! Debbie P.

  • Janet Mead

I have used Atlas Van Lines associated with Premier Van Lines many times and they are absolutely wonderful. I can't say or recommend them enough. The people who work for this company are amazing. Lyle helped me plan this move from Manitoba to Windsor Ontario and everything went perfectly and ahead of schedule. Mike oversaw the actual move and he was there in Windsor at the unloading. These people make sure your furniture is well taken care of and they assemble everything they take apart to protect your possessions. They make sure every box is placed where you want it. I would never get any other mover as these guys are amazing and awesome and reasonably priced...

  • Tracey Robbins

Overall my experience was very positive. Bruce was very knowledgeable, friendly and provided me with quick responses to my questions when I had questions about the quote and process. Will and his team were informative, considerate and very helpful. They were careful with my items and didn't waste my time getting my items moved out and then in on my destination. The payment process was simple and the lady (don't remember her name) who took my payment over the phone provided a thorough explanation on the process and what information Will would need on the receiving end if they were not able to reach him. I would recommend this company to my friends and family.

  • Kristin Hibbard

I was not looking forward to our move based on past experiences with moving companies and was pleasantly surprised by the level of customer service and care of our belongings from Morley, Jason and Chris. Morley was fantastic to work with from start to finish - he was very accommodating and kept open/consistent communication (if you can request Morley, I would highly recommend you do just that!). Everything was wrapped in blankets before it left our house to be placed on the truck which was comforting to see. We also worked with Jena and Debbie for our initial quote/paperwork, etc. and they were both extremely helpful and friendly.

  • Jessica Harwin

We moved from Nova Scotia to Alberta in December (which is a hard month to move in and it was a very short turn around) but everyone we came into contact with helped to make it easier. From our sales person, to the packers, to the movers, to our driver (Thanks, Andrew!) , everyone was a professional delight to work with. All of our stuff arrived very quickly and with no issues. Everything was packed with so much care that I had no worries about anything. When you make a move like this, you get what you pay for, and this was worth every penny! I wouldn’t use another company for a move ever again. Lifelong, satisfied customer!

  • Nicole Doesnt matter

This was the worst moving experience ever. My furniture was damaged. Every single piece was damaged. All the glass that was packed was broken. Watched the movers drop boxes off the truck and all contents were smashed. All boxes were crushed and in all directions including on their sides even upside-down. There was nothing good about this move. When the movers showed up there wasn't enough room on the truck and items had to be left behind. I would never ever use them again and I would never refer them to anybody. All they did was cause heart ache and problems. It has been nothing but a nightmare!!

  • Neil Treadway

Edmonton crew were very professional and efficient. London, Ontario crew Mike and Mo were excellent. Darren was very chatty, and opinionated regarding subjects that should not have been shared while moving boxes. I was put off with Darren and his continuous commentary on everything and anything. You are hired to do a job, a valued job so his comments, points of view, constant talking was not appreciated and I found Darren unprofessional and unaware of his environment. Leave him at home next time please.

  • Ruth Bell

I highly recommend Atlas/Mackie movers. We had an excellent experience for our recent long distance move from Brampton to Ottawa. From the start with Gord to our driver Devon and the movers at each end, everyone was polite, helpful, and professional. They answered all our questions, showed up when they were supposed to show up, and did everything they told us they would do - and their pricing was still substantially less than some other quotes we got. We are very happy. Thanks Atlas/Mackie.

  • Narbada Gugarai

We moved from Winnipeg MB to Tillsonburg ON. The services we received was very excellent. Kathy helped me with the quote and she is really good at what she did. She handled everything and she was always there when you have questions. Darren is very great man and I really enjoyed seeing how he handled everything. This was my first move and I am really happy with the money I spent. Amj Campbell made me very satisfied and I will as able to receive my delivery within a week.

  • Larry Gilroy

We dealt with Mary Dunn of Atlas Canada who also works with Canadian CMS and is a client Experience Specialist and claim representative. She handled our damage claim which resulted from the loading of our furniture. Mary Dunn handled the claim quickly and fairly in a polite and professional manner and we were reimbursed promptly for a justified damage claim. Actually our whole experience with Atlas Canada was very positive from start to finish. Thank you Mary Dunn.

  • Kim Caron

We decided to use Atlas for our move from Ontario to Nova scotia. My experience dealing with Nigel (King's Transfer Van Lines) and the team has been great. He was professional, set proper expectations of the move and was very responsive to all by questions. The Driver and the moving team were curtious, hard working and very accommodating to our move. They ensure nothing was missing, handle everything with care and set up all our furniture. Overall great experience

  • Judy Kyle

The driver John was very professional and an excellent communicator. I felt at ease the entire move, knowing he was there in charge at the beginning of loading, driving the truck across Canada and here for unloading. He was very personable. The entire team was very friendly and pleasant. They wrapped all items carefully and handled everything so well. Nothing was damaged. It was a very seamless experience. Although the rate was high, you get what you pay for.

  • Janesse McPhillips

We had another fantastic experience with AMJ last week. This was our 4th time over many years using them and they never disappoint. From the courteous and timely quoting and booking with Lynn to the outstanding moving crew lead by James, we were thrilled with the service. Every piece of furniture is wrapped securely and taken care of. This particular move was across country, with the arrival coming exactly as planned. Highly recommend without reservation.

  • Joe OBrien

From start to finish was an excellent experience, Jon was the driver and arrived on time made sure all items were protected and loaded properly, he also explained the paperwork in a clear manner, during the unload at destination he unpacked professionally and again explained the paperwork in a clear manner. Jon himself is very professional and a definite asset to Atlas (Jays) moving, I would ask for him specifically if I need to use a moving company again

  • Michael Statham

From first phone call to final delivery, we received friendly, professional service: fast, efficient packers, with loading and unloading performed in a determined workmanlike manner. The crews really busted their butts to not only get the job done, but done right. No damage of any sort. A first for my wife and I who have had many moves, including local, provincial and international. Cannot praise them enough. We highly recommend AMJ Campbell.

  • Private Toronto, Canada

I had the worst experience with this company. Gave them over $5000 for a move and they damaged my microwave, my bike, vintage painting, my leather sofa and had missing items. Warning do not use them and if you do video tape everything. I'm extremely disappointed and I hope no one has my experience. You just can't trust people even after getting a referral. Here a just a few pictures of the damaged and they still refused to make it right

  • Karen Theriault

From start to finish ... we had a GREAT experience. Our estimator Randy was helpful. Our mover Terry kept us updated on their whereabouts from BC to Eastern Quebec ... Moving out day went well and moving in day ... despite the really bad weather (heavy rain and high winds) ... we plowed through and managed to get everything unloaded. I would recommend Atlas to anyone moving across Canada. Thanks for everything. Karen & Gerard Theriault

  • Diane Hilko

All the above factors were met to my satisfaction; good quality, good value, professional and responsive. The other factor I really appreciated was the communication. They answered all my questions every time I called and I called a lot. Made the move run smoothly for me. The move across the country was quick. And we’re very efficient putting items in my house. It was completely worth the expense having Atlas move my items. Thank you.

Absolutely horrendous, loading end was great! Missing and broken items when unloaded and we had other peoples stuff. Contacted claims departments and after months they basically said we are lying? Not to mention the fraud on the paperwork that we are seeking legal advice on and have home cam footage of delivery! The insurance you pay for is in house so of course they won’t pay! Absolutely disgusted. Avoid its not worth the headache!

I had a most wonderful moving experience with Jay’s Transportation Group, Atlas Canada agent, in North Battleford. Brian and his moving crew were professional, very experienced, and efficient. They were very easy to deal with and provided excellent customer service on moving day. Sus and Neil in the office were also very easy to deal with and answered all my questions. If you need great movers, this is the moving company for you!

  • Yvonne Clarke

The team that picked up my mother's belongings as well as the team that delivered them were fantastic! My mother had not moved in over 50 years and was very overwhelmed since I could not be there for moving day. The guys were very good with her, putting her mind at ease as they carefully packed her things and ensuring they were sufficiently protected. I fully intend to use Atlas when I need to move in a few years.

  • Colin Gosse

We moved from Ontario to New Brunswick. The driver John was awesome. He was very informative about the how everything would be done from loading to unloading. The Ontario loading crew were very good and told us everything they would be doing. The truck arrived at the time John said it would. The unloading went pretty will. All in all the move went very smoothly. I recommend using Mickie if you are moving

  • Sandi Weir

1 item broken - bedroom dresser. We haven't heard back from anyone & it was noted on our final delivery sheet. All movers were great. They loaded & unloaded in a timely manner. Lack of communication as to the size of truck coming & not being informed as to how many movers was stressful. Hoping someone gets in touch with us re broken dresser in a timely manner. Items delivered on the 15th of February.

  • Kpawn k

The employees were prompt courteous and fast. Everything was packaged and moved professionally. The whole team was awesome at both ends of my move. The driver managed the whole situation with professionalism and experience. Nothing broken. Nothing missing. Nothing damaged. Had I known this would be the outcome I wouldn't have purchased the insurance. This has been by far my best moving experience.

  • felix gelman

I moved with Atlas from MB to BC The movers had missing tools to take apart my glass table so they took it promising me that they will take it apart at the warehouse. Finally they delivered it broken. I have submitted a claim to Atlas and they denied it. In my contract it clearly said we will take apart all your furniture at origin and assemble them at you destination. Not a very nice experience!

  • Scott Family

Atlas made our recent move soooo much less stressful than it could have been! With my bad back and husbands bad knees, there was no way we could have done our long distance move on our own. Our movers were fast, friendly, and very careful with all our belongings. I appreciated how they protected all the floors and wrapped anything that wasn’t a box up in blankets! It was WELL worth the money.

  • Lou Strickland

Where do I even start, I wouldn't recommend using this company for moving. I moved from Ontario to BC recently my safe was opened and all contents are missing, screws for tv, and scratches on my furniture that wasn't there before I moved. I tried to make a claim and they told me they will be maintaining denial on my claim. Family heirlooms can never be replaced. Not happy at all.

  • Claire McKenzie

I had a great experience moving between cities with Jay’s Moving/Atlas Canada. The staff were very responsive and flexible in giving alternative dates for when my belongings were loaded up and delivered that fit my schedule. The staff were all very professional and forthcoming with any information that was important to me. I would recommend them to anyone planning on moving!

  • Stake One

Best possible moving experience, all expectations greatly exceeded. From the first visit by Marcel the estimator to the moving crew Detek & Mike, everyone was friendly & efficient. Estimate was very close to actual charge, communication was excellent & we got our stuff delivered way sooner than expected. We highly recommend AMJ Campbell for an affordable stress-free move!

  • Sharon Scheirer

This company moved us 1300 Km. They packed everything with quilts. They were very careful with our items. It all arrived intact and was unloaded with care. No wall scuffs/ damage to either home. Both loading and unloading crews were respectful and took care to listen to any instruction we had. We highly recommend this company.

  • Julie Gauvin

Atlas Van Lines made my move a breeze. Employees were a great group of guys. They took care of all our furniture and belongings. I was moving a few extremely heavy items and was a little worried but in the end I had nothing to worry about. I am very happy with my choice of moving company and would recommend them to everyone.

  • farid seifi

We had a great experience working with Atlas team moving from Ottawa to Michigan. Luke and Kevin were very professional, friendly, responsive and did a phenomenal job! They took a great care of our stuff and wrapped our furniture perfectly. They made the move stress free for us and offered a great service! Highly recommend!

  • Ruth Sholdice

We were very pleased with Atlas Van Lines. Everything arrived safely and at the expected time. The only problem was we had a hard time finding out just when our shipment was to arrive. Because we had a small amount to be moved I am sure it was because it needed to be coordinated with someone else moving at the same time.

  • Tracy McDermott

We needed to move my father (Herman’s) belongings to BC. The staff was able to help me get this done, it started with being able to do a virtual walkthrough to sending a great team to pack the belongings and then a awesome moving team to get the things to BC. Thanks again will definitely us your team again when needed.

  • Rich Susik

Responsive from day one, all questions answerred promptly. On time to pick our stuff, carefully wrapped what was required. All items recorded, list provided. Upon arrival on other side of Canada, all items were placed according the signs on the boxes or changes. Nothing got broken. Thank you Jacob and the team.

  • Jennifer Lennox

Our furniture arrived quickly, even before we got there. The only problem was that when taking items apart, the parts were all separated. It took us forever to find all the pieces to re-assemble the furniture. Also, not all the furniture was placed in the correct rooms & we had to hire someone to move it.

  • Al Villiers

It was a good service but as we unpack we keep finding some damages to our furniture. Little scratches, scrapes and so on. No one has contacted us yet about the reported damages and it's been about a month. Other than that we couldn't of done this without them. They were quick, thorough and professional.

  • Lisa Kudla

From start to finish this company was professional and took great care when moving my things across the country. Excellent communication and exceptional service. My mover was so personable and an absolute pleasure to deal with. They took all of the stress out of moving. Highly recommend!!!

  • Cara Stapleton

We had an amazing experience using Atlas. Adam was so professional, knowledgeable, and responsive. He and his team created a seamless experience for us from beginning to end. The move was smooth and they took such care and detail with every aspect. Too notch service!! I highly recommend.

  • Nicholas Manor

The mover himself and his crew in Ottawa were great. The administrator I was in contact with immediately preceding the move and on the day of the move was extremely unresponsive and misleading. Next time I move, I'd just call the mover directly and hopefully avoid the administration.

  • Mamun Rashid

I had an excellent experience with Atlas Van Lines from the loading our items in ON to the drop off in BC. The moving team was very professional and informative. Doug and Bobbi-Jo answered all my questions during the whole process. I would highly recommend this company!

  • Maryse O'Neill

These guys are moving our neighbours. Smoking while in and out of house. Much sitting around. Super inefficient. Three days and still not done. Sleeping in cab outside and in annd out of cab all night. We moved in a day from a similarly sized house. Awful. Avoid.

  • Linda Oliveira

Moved from Ottawa to Nova Scotia. Very professional from the very beginning with enquiring about the company to wrapping our furniture to the final unload at our destination. Would highly recommend this company to anyone with a long distance move in their future!
