This sacred place brings peace to the people, providing generous space for their gathering and prayers. The building is a design that was crafted by the most famous Australian architect (Glenn Murcutt) and the faithful Islamic community of Melbourne, as a statement of trust in local genius. The mosque is a model of progressive thinking, embracing the deep knowledge of tradition and giving a new, different face to it. This is a model of a modern society, multicultural, sustainable, open and hopeful. The people at the centre will be cheerful and very proud of welcoming non-Islamic visitor as myself and show the facilities as a collective achievement. Natural light, clever details and poetry are everywhere in this contemporary monument.

I really doubt the majority of the Muslim community is happy with this Mosque. I am not a fan of Glenn Murcutt's Architecture persay.He makes good use of glass with lots of sliding glass doors and light but the structures of the buildings are over simplified and as for complimenting the Australian bush with his earlier work to my mind is just reflecting Australia 's cow , shearing and milking sheds. Not aesthetic enough Architecture for my liking,but clever none the less. Certainly impersonal and Modern may be that Mosque will appeal to modern Muslims ,and others.

Great contemporary imagining of a modern Australian mosque. Huge floorspace under a high ceiling accented by some clever tinted skylights that keep the building well lit even without lighting. Although still under construction, the complex will make a very impressive community centre when completed. Plenty of space for parking in front (not yet completed) and the design of the forecourt area helps the flow of people even during busy Eid periods.

One among the very few mosques in Melbourne where khutbah is not invalidated by the imam speaking english inbetween khutbah (which has a sharth to be in arabic). However, I have seen a video of the khutbah where a different person delivers an english speech and imam pauses khutbah for that to complete. I sincerely wish we stick to what rasool s.a taught us and not to alter ibadah to please people who are ignorant of the requirements of khutbah

Absolutely disgusting situation today at this mosque. Straight after the khutba a member of the community encouraged everyone to stick around because a politician of the Andrews government will give a speech. As soon as the jummah prayer was over, a politician gave an election speech to the jemaat. So inappropriate. It's so sad that our mosques are serving the government instead of the community.

Manshallah very beautiful masjid. Our First visit this week with the kids and husband for duhur prayer. Alhamdulilah very grateful to be here..we don't have mosque in Melton area but the men pray inside Al Iman college ,so i am happy to be inside masjid as muslimah for long time. The mosque easy location Prayer time pace ☑✅✅ Apart from 2 incidents people are quit nice and will warm up to u once they see you often. Diverse and the mosque I have felt a sense of belonging. If few big mosque were close to this, there won't be the needs to create these small mosques among minority comunities

Beautiful looking new mosque... Reflective of the Mosque's namesake Muathin Rasool Allah (saws) Bilal ibn Rabah (RA). Mosque is very spacious inside, plenty of parking. Baraka Allah to All involved in building this House of Allah swt. May he reward them and build for them houses in Paradise.

Such a lovely place. When I prayed their Maghrib before few days they had a Qura’n explanation lecture after Maghrib by respected Shaykh which was wonderful. Also beautiful Masjid and people from surrounding suburbs always keep Masjid alive by visiting it for daily prayers. Feels lively

I have been performing Juma Namaz in many mosques in Melbourne city for the past two months. But the AIC mosque that went last Friday surprised me and I realized that mosque’s can be built with its architect design. Very nice muslim mosque very near to main road liked a lot
