Pankaj Patel ...STOP.Just because I spelled Gujarati wrong , in south we have a habit of adding "h" to many names. does not mean its fake. No one can make up story with such details. I dont get anything out a Fake review. I am talking about my pregnant wife here. SHAME ON YOU,you have the indecency to insult a pregnant woman`s bad experience by calling it fake Typical Denial Response. THIS REVIEW is REAL and WE HAD THIS EXPERIENCE. I AM NOT ALONE.. SEE OTHERS saying same below. SOUTH INDIANS NOT WELCOME HERE. Check my post below 2 year ago. we will never forget it.Will never visit BAPS. Hi All, I am a south Indian, Hindu,Brahmin, living in AZ,USA. I went to this temple at tempe along with my friends(south Indians). We were greeted by a elderly man. He asked if it was our first visit and we acknowledged. He gave quick overview of the temple and walked us to the sathsang hall. He sat next to us. After the session we walk out and he asked me if I know about ekta mandir. I said no. He asked me to note it and check that temple as its near to BAPS. He said that "ekta mandir has south indians visiting...telugu,tamil and other languages". Here(BAPS) for Gujarathi`s ONLY. I understand Gujarathi but cant speak. He asked us to collect prasad(food). While having food, my wife and her friend were greeted by a lady in gujarathi. my wife`s friend informed that they dont understand Gujarathi. She was asked if they knew about "Maha ganapathy" temple and they should visit that temple instead.she was pointing to my wife and her friend and was telling her friends that they were south indians. We felt uncomfortable and unwelcome. We though of visiting a temple which we never visited in AZ as my wife was pregnant. As per my experience and resultant understanding, this place is only for Gujarathi people ONLY. This is NOT a complaint...We understand that this place is intended for gujarathi`s only..that`s perfectly fine. We are more than happy NOT to visit BAPS. Just let people know upfront that south Indians are NOT welcome ...may be in the website under visitor info OR a sign board in front of BAPS or this could a well know fact and we did not know..in that case I apologize.

Jai ho Swaminarayan ji ki . Beautiful spiritual place with full of peace ✌. We went for krishan Janmashtami festival celebration and all the volunteers and people was very supportive and helpful. Prasad was excellent and having more options for kids like cup cake and mango juice. Temple has small grocery shop and there you can fine authentic gujarati food items and spiritual book and cds . I recommend everyone to visit.

We visit this temple every week. Everyone are welcome here. The weekly sabha held on Saturday helps everybody to connect with the religion and community. Baps also does lot of charity activities in the valley. I would recommend everyone to visit this temple if you are in the area.

Great place and great service conducts various events everyday good spiritual place to be.They have a nice little store too which sells quality Indian stuff like groceries, handicrafts, religious books, incense and snacks

  • Mike Jones

great place to network. Snack shop some of the items need to check before u buy, they seem to have mold (fungus). Sad thing they never offer refunds for items if they are bad, they don't call back or reply. Very sad.

  • Helisha Sangani

Really supportive people. Good atmosphere. Feeling like home away from home for Indian student. Also they provide really awesome Gujarati food on Indian festival celebration. Really loved this place.
