I was expecting to come to a latin club as the description indicates, so was completely surprised to find there was nothing latin about it when we arrived. I wasn’t dead set on a latin experience so I didn’t mind, but I just found it surprising and humourous that it was pitched as a latin spot. This was a full out college bar, average age range was 18-23. Corresponding to this – the drinks are cheap. Although it is a very limited bar. The bartenders are great though. This place gets really crowded later into the night. Music is primarily club anthems anywhere from the late 90’s to current, but leaning towards songs that are 5-15 years old. No cover and the doormen don’t give you attitude so they get points for being easygoing as well.

Nous avons passé une super belle soirée au Cactus. Tout était parfait, j'ai organisé le 40 ieme anniversaire de ma copine et elle a adorée ! Je conseil ce restaurent a toute personne qui veut passer une belle soirée avec de la bonne bouffe et une service attentionné. Tout y était, un mélange de musique, cuisine, chanteur et décor mexicain ! Passer au plancher de danse après le souper question de bien digérer en bougeant sur de la musique latine.

Cozy et cool comme endroit , pas trop chere les covers et leurs drinks malgré le manque d'espaces pour les manteaux , je recommande plus y allez pendant l'été pendant un "bar crawl" , la musique est bonne mais ca dépend des dj présent qui sont parfois hit or miss , bref a damn good time

On a utilisé ce bar pour notre évènement et honnêtement ça valait vraiment la peine! Le staff est incroyable on a eu du super bon service pis tout le monde était gentil. L'espace est vraiment cool pour des évènements, avec la place pour le DJ et beaucoup d'options pour changer la lumière et l'ambiance. Je recommande à tous !

Poor layout, especially on the top floor. You need to cross the sea of people at the cramped coat check to go the the bathroom. Bottom floor is a small dancefloor that funnels down to the bar, so good luck getting a drink when it's over half capacity. Avoid on busy nights like new years eve. I wasn't a fan

Un bar génial, des prix intéressants pour les shots, une super ambiance pour danser, MAIS malheureusement la musique est beaucoup trop forte en fin de soirée c'est vraiment dommage impossible de tenir une conversation et ça en devient presque douloureux. Dommage par ce que l'ambiance est géniale.

I go to the club a lot and it’s free entry, so that’s amazing! However the club is a bit cramped as Fridays and Saturdays are popular. But the bartenders are chill, and the other customers as well. Always a pleasure having an interaction with them! Very social!

Brand New bar on St-Denis street. From the same owners of l'Escogriffe. It's a different music style than other places around but great for dancing on hip hop, r&b, and more Pop music. Their lazer system on the dancefloor is quite amazing

Service is a bit slow. Food however is really good, some things are branded as really spicy but aren't nearly as spicy as they claim. Excellent place to relax with a good sangria.

The Mexican drinks (Pina Colada, Mojitos, etc.) weren't the best, but the food was fresh and delicious and generally great value. Good menu selection and service is kind.

Cactus restaurant downstairs is good spot if you like Mexican food. Upstairs its a club where most of the time its Latin and Cuban music.
