Checked in to their outlet at durbarmarg. Ordered for a doughnut and a chocolava. The staff handled our doughnut with her hand without any gloves or a tong/spatula. Just her plain greasy hands and her nails were not cut too. When i asked her about the proper way of food handling she ignored me and said that she had used a hand sanitizer. Are u kidding?. This place has zero safety protocols regarding food hygience practice.

Fresh bakery available in the heart of Kathmandu valley. It is located in Durbar Marg which is also known as King’s Way. Good place to enjoy some cakes and pastries. You can also order exotic cakes for occasions like birthday, anniversary and other. Moderate price, but quality bakery and good varieties of bakery items.

Ate cakes at many different places in KTM but Bakes n cakes remains my favourite since many years, ma sha Allah. They have juicy pastries but also cakes that are more european style and dry, which is my favourite type of cake and hard to find. A chewy cake with thick buttercream with a hot tea is a lovely combo!

This place has degraded. The coffee was better when I used to be a regular here. The cashier do not always pay attention to you which results in mixed up orders. It has not happened to me but I have witnessed other's order getting mixed up. The price is also high with respect to the quality.

If you are looking for quality ingredients bakes n cakes is the way to go, their cake never tastes funky or off, ingredients are fresh and very good. Prices are a bit expensive but I have never regretted any purchase from bakes. Keep up the good work.

RIP off and terrible service. The guy at the counter is mad rude! On top of that I paid 450 rupees for two sandwich which was priced at maybe 120 each and when I asked how come that much, he tells me that's with the service charge!

I bought a birthday Cakes and it was very awesome...spongy and juicy....it was icy as it was in fridge but still the cake was awesome....expensive rates but tastes delightful.. No parking available.

Dry cake and coffee wasn't what I expected. Asked for an iced latte but received a coffee milkshake.
