First the bad news Because of sin, we are born separated from God.  Without intervention, we are unable to dwell with God.  This applies to the entire human race. You are not alone. Romans 3:23 says, “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;” Romans 3:10 says, “As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:” Romans 6:23a “For the wages of sin is death;” Revelation 21:8 “But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone:” There is no amount of good works we can do to save ourselves from being eternally separated from God. Ephesians 2:8-9 say, “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.” To be separated from God forever, simply do nothing. To ignore or reject God’s son is to be already condemned to the Lake of Fire (Revelation 20:15, 2 Thes. 1:7-9). John 3:18 “He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.” But there is good news! There is a simple and free way to be reconciled with God made possible by God’s only son Jesus. He was nailed to a Roman cross to shed His blood in payment for your sin. Then three days after His death, He rose from the dead, validating once and for all His qualification to be our only Savior. Placing your complete trust in Jesus’ death, burial and resurrection is the one and only way to be reconciled to God. Jesus said (John 14:6), “I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” John 3:16 & 17 are clear. “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.” The Bible clearly tells us how to be saved: Romans 10:9-10 “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” This is a free gift from God because He loves you. Romans 6:23b “but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Romans 10:13 “Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Are you ready to believe right now?  If so, simply tell God what he asked you to confess. You might use a prayer similar to this one: “God, I admit to you that I am a sinner, and I know I cannot do anything to earn my way into your kingdom. I truly believe that Jesus died on the cross, was buried and rose from the grave. I put my faith in His sacrifice to pay for my sin in full.” What did you decide?

A pier, a restaurant, and a playground/splash pad. What more could you want? Parking: There is plenty of parking in front of the playground itself, but also on the other side of the nearby rec center. The lot does get full after school on hot days because of the splash pad. Fencing: Not fully fenced (splash pad is fully fenced, though). However, there is enough immediate fencing to give the illusion that it is to younger children. The road is quite a ways out from the play equipment, so even without a fence, you’d have time to catch them before they made a run for it. Bathrooms: The bathrooms are located in the building housing the restaurant. The men’s bathrooms are on the back side closest to the play area. The women’s is on the front of the building facing the parking lot. I cannot attest to the men’s, but the women’s does have a changing table and hand dryer. It is big enough for a stroller to enter, but it can be a squeeze getting it into the stalls if needed. Trash: There are a few trash cans around. While this park is generally clean, we’ve had to pick up trash a few times because the wildlife like to rummage in the rubbish. Shade: There are shade covers over most of the play equipment; however, it can still be very sunny in the middle of the day (especially at the main swings). The tree coverage is off to the side of the equipment. There are two baby swings near the splash pad that are in tree cover. For reference, the photos were taken around 9:00 am. Water: Water fountain works and has a convenient water bottle filling station. Located near the back of the restaurant. Flooring: Rubberized flooring under the larger play equipment; wood chips under the swings and small play structure. Safety: I’ve never had an issue at this playground. While there are usually people present at picnic tables under pavilions who do not have children, my children have not once been approached by anyone. There are typically fitness groups, cyclists, and people with other interests around as well, so it’s pretty heavily populated. The pier is close by, but enough out of sight that children wouldn’t start running toward it. Also, that is the side with the most fencing. It’s a great walk if your kids are up to it! On another note, I’ve never tried the restaurant, but it’s certainly convenient. There is a beautiful wall mural on the far side of the park green space near a banyan (?) tree. Just gorgeous!

A Serene Oasis with Breathtaking Views I recently visited Ballast Point Park in Tampa Bay, Florida, and I was blown away by its serene beauty and stunning sunrise views. This hidden gem offers something for everyone in the family, making it the perfect destination for a day of relaxation and fun. First and foremost, the sunrise at Ballast Point Park is simply breathtaking. As the sun begins to rise over the Tampa Bay, the colors painted across the sky create a magical and peaceful atmosphere. It's the ideal spot to start your day, whether you're an early riser or simply love the beauty of nature. One of the highlights of this park is the charming pier that stretches out into the bay. It's an excellent spot for fishing enthusiasts to cast their lines and enjoy the tranquility of the water. Even if you're not into fishing, taking a leisurely stroll along the pier is a great way to soak in the panoramic views of the bay and the impressive skyline of downtown Tampa. The sight of the towering skyscrapers against the backdrop of the blue water is truly mesmerizing. Ballast Point Park is also incredibly family-friendly. With a well-maintained playground, kids can have a blast while parents relax and enjoy the surroundings. The park offers ample parking, which is always a plus, ensuring a stress-free visit. Ballast Point Park offers a delightful combination of natural beauty, stunning sunrise views, and family-friendly amenities. I was meeting a friend for lunch so we decided on Ballast Point. She lives in S Tampa and I used to but I live in Seffner now. Let me tell you, this little restaurant is full-menu and the kitchen is about 4 x 15. These chefs can COOK! I've been here many times and it never disappoints. We both had the chicken sandwich w fries this time (we've had just about everything already!) and the fries were some of the best I've ever had! The sandwich was easily 2 breasts served w traditional tomato, pickle and onion. We ate inside due to the wind and both servers on duty were friendly and chatted a bit w us. They also serve ice cream! Although getting a parking spot can be tricky, once you get one you'll be glad you did! There's a massive water playground, plenty of benches and green space, clean restrooms and a fishing pier (and bait store!). Add in blue skies, dolphins playing in the water and the city of Tampa in the distance and you have a winner of a park!

Dog-friendliness

The large swings overlooking the water !!!!! Free parking Small park Pet friendly Children's park with attached water fountain Horse stables across from the park. Families can watch horses while having a picnic. Ice cream shop (looked kinda unsanitary). Lots of squirrels and birds Restroom available There are two piers I would give this park 5 stars but one of the ice cream workers was outside the female restroom lurking at the females who exited the restroom. A police officer showed up, but just sat in his car staring at the guy. The cop stayed for about 15 minutes and left. After the cop left the male worker yelled at me and accused me of taking his picture. I didn't even aim my camera at him. He was hostile and agitated, not a good attitude for a children's park. Child stroller and wheel chair accessible

  • Jarred Keller

BEWARE!!!!! Watch this place. My wife, son and I visited this park due to high reviews. As soon as we got there, rough looking youth showed up with automatic airsoft guns and started pointing at the kids and shooting. One aimed directly at a toddler and held aim for 5 seconds, turned slightly to the left and unloaded at least 20 rounds at a trashcan about 10 feet away from the kid. They continued to walk around swinging the air rifles like they were wanna be gang members, shooting up at birds and then back at kids. We became immediately uncomfortable and booked it. I have been around guns all my life, and even though these are not lethal, I felt in danger for my son and wife. Not to mention the rough gentleman passed out in the truck next to our car. Go to Anderson park instead.

Peaceful, quiet, and clean. Pier is open all night for fishing. If you want to eat at the restaraunt get there before 8pm as that is when they close the kitchen (Google says they're open 'til 9pm). The bathrooms are closed down after hours but there are a few places to stop at nearby if need be. We've had a few friendly interactions with other patrons. Parking during the day can be hectic but things slow down after dark. Everything you can possibly need is very close, within 5 to 10 mins, driving. I suggest finding a bait store before you come as their bait is overpriced, they are not open 24 hours, and no live bait. Oh and parking and pier access is free.

  • Chris Gas

After living in Tampa for a decade, I finally went to this park when I had family visiting. It's a beautiful spot as you head south on Bayshore Blvd. Nice views of the downtown Tampa skyline as you can see in the photo. There's a boat ramp, a fishing pier, a nice sized playground, and a small restaurant. Parking is a bit tough, as the lots were loaded (it was a Saturday evening). Luckily we found street parking.
Playground
Has a water playground and regular playground.
Restrooms
Restrooms located in building by the restaurant.
Dog-friendliness
Saw lots of dogs while we were here.
Picnic area
Several picnic tables

It is so wonderfulwonderful he I love the food I love the fact it's close to Tampa you can just chill out for the day walk around in the park watch people fishing everybody's nice. They bring their animals any kind doesn't matter it's it's just a great place and the food the ice cream and the very nice people that serve and takeout order I love this place I can't wait to go back for the ice cream and my crunchy french fries I come with my service dog Hercules he's afraid of walking on the pier so I put them in his carriage. To me it's like a hidden gem of Peace, sunset, relaxation great food, and a wonderful place to socialize. Thank you!

  • Amanda Purvus

Very dirty . The playground needs to he updated, my grandbabies could not use it because the equipment was too hot, the padding on the ground around the playground is crumbling. Lots and lots of homelessness, not friendly either. No parking. restaurantrant is awful. It's a very busy park because that's the only one in South Tampa that has a splash pad . I think we need a park like the one in Carrollwood, it has better playgrounds and a nice big field with lots of parking. The restrooms are disgusting . I walked in, and a homeless lady was shoting up . I live in South tampa, and I will never go back with my grandbabies .

  • Rebecca Fine

Boy has this place changed over the years and in a positive way The park area is awesome for kids. There are benches and pavilions surrounding the area for parents and for shade. The pavilions can be reserved. They have a little mini water park area which is great on a hot Florida day. Bring your sunscreen. Hungry? Want some ice cream? The little shop by the park area has both and there is a nice variety of choices for both. There is a little bait shop next to restaurant/ice cream shop. The views are beautiful. The pier is an exciting place and full of activity. A great place to take a little stroll.

  • Jonathan Huff

Great playground at this park. Beautiful views of the water especially just before sunset. The pier is great too. During warmer weather the splash pad is great for smaller children. Picnic pavilions are usually free for use during the weekdays. We love the ice cream shop at the pier. There are lots of flavors to choose from and service is prompt. The parking lot can become full quickly, but it is great in the later afternoons. Would definitely recommend for families.
Playground
Lots of interesting features to these play areas. Very safe.
Picnic area
Good pavilions with plenty of shade

  • Bill Waller

Great park with a large pier and playground. There is a public boat ramp to launch a boat at no cost and a restaurant and bait shop on site as well Parking at times can be a challenge but the park has something for almost everyone to enjoy. Also a great place for the sunrise!
Playground
This park has a large playground structure with multiple slides and a sky bridge.
Restrooms
There are restrooms here behind the small eatery.
Picnic area
There are several covered areas with picnic tables as well as a large gazebo.

  • Brittiany. R Adilas

Great spot to take friends, family, and spouses. The views overlooking the bay and Tampa downtown is beautiful. The park has two small parking lots that can fill up quickly, but it's an easy walking distance for many in the surrounding neighborhood. There is a gazebo, splash pad, playground, a restaurant called "Taste of Boston" that sits right at the end of the pier. This is also a really big fishing spot for many locals, not sure what gets caught normally but there is always at least 10 people out there fishing.

Remains open the whole night. Calm and quiet but keep in mind the amenities are closed after 8 pm. Great for fishing, there's boat ramps and jet ski ramp as well. The best thing about this place is quietness. There's horse ranch right next, such a pleasure to take a stroll. The wooden platform for boat mooring is like a small picnic spot...

What a difference 25 years make! Back then a small dock and not much else. Now, a very long pier, a playground with water works, bait shop, an indoor/outdoor eatery and a beautiful park with picnic tables. In the past with no bait shop and the small pier I lost interest because fishing was not very good and never came back. Surprise, surprise! I will be back to fish very soon. There are fish cleaning stations all along the pier with running water. Can't wait!

  • Cara Bussa Weaver

A favorite play place for our family through the years...we can spend twenty minutes here to let the kids get some energy out or we can spend an entire morning or evening. I love that there is a little of everything: splash pad, playground, picnic areas, green space, nature, pier, fishing, ice cream and food. And yet it doesn't feel too big. My niece caught her first fish with "Bampa" on her third birthday. Just one of many sweet memories we have shared here.

Beautiful ,serene. Not too big. Have a family like feel. Has a little of everything. Swings and seating are great places to relax and meditate on the maker of this awesome universe. The sea, the horizon all this, a tiny speck of the things we take for granted as we enjoy. To see the sun gracefully rises in all it's glory is awesome. Gives me reasons to think " all this cannot be for no purpose" He who created it has a purpose!!

  • Raghuvanesh Vasudevan

Nice area to sit on a swing or spend some time on boardwalk and grab a cup of coffee or have some snacks. Its really calm and nice in the evening where you get to see sunset and also beautiful view of Tampa downtown. Added bonus, it is right next to bayshore boulevard which is an amazing street for bicycling, walking or jogging. Personally, I like this spot just to feel relaxed and free my mind out of stress.

  • Avi NasH

Beautiful park MUST VISIT, easy drive to the park. Car parking can be a pain during peak hours and weekends. Walk on the pier was amazing and breathtaking views of the downtown, water, and birds . Florida you a sunshine beauty . PS: I believe most of the local people here not wearing masks, not following social distance and horrible drivers drive cautiously if you are a tourist here.

  • James G

Barely catch anything here, parking is shared between the board walk, nature walk in the park, and playground. So parking is scarce… Had a few incidents where people would stand in parking spaces to hold them for their friends or family… not fun experiences.. overall the pier is a nice relaxing place to cast a line, hangout with loved ones, and has a great view of the Tampa city lights around the Bay.

  • John Shaner

This place in an out the way nook of South Tampa , but it's worth finding. There's a restaurant there. They have a playground. It's kid friendly and dog friendly. They also have restrooms that relatively clean for your convenience. It is on the water, I don't know if swimming is allowed though. It could be part of a family day. Because , this area of south Tampa has other points of interest.

  • Chris Vogel

This place is cool!!! Water park and playground for the kids is too legit!!! You get a different angle of dwn twn tampa from here! Check out the long board walk! Its great for fishing . They have cutting boards throughout the pier. I recommend checking tide befor you go fishing! It can get low and stinky . All around a clean nice park with food options during regular business hours.

  • Luis Valencia

Beautiful and peaceful place, we were there with my daughter fishing ( we did not get anything ☹️ ) but it was really fun and joyful as it can be sharing a great time and enjoying a beautiful sunset. It is right there but the city so really close to anything on Tampa. Visit Tampa it is a great city vibrant and growing great places to eat and have a few drinks.

  • Andrew Wright

Love this park so much I had my wedding rehearsal lunch out here last year. It has a wonderful splash area for kids, and the pier is always 5° cooler than the surrounding neighborhood. Which is crucial on a sweltering Tampa day. I highly recommend coming down here and taking some family photos or something if you are in the neighborhood - go do it! You’ll love it.

  • Douglas Fertig

My family and I loved this park. There is a bait shop and a Restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. The kids enjoyed both the small and the larger playgrounds and they loved the spray park. The guys went fishing on the pier and I especially loved the fact that we were able to bring our dog Max so that he could enjoy the park as well that was a definite plus.

  • Puja Eklabya

I recommend this place for a quick stroll early in the morning. The sunrise is beautiful and the cool breeze is just immersive. Its a great park for kids and pets too. There is a horse riding school nearby , where u can see small kids learning horse riding. I had a great experience and would visit this park again and again and again!!!!!!!! Must visit

Excellent public park with space aplenty with a beautiful view of sunrise/sunset through the high rise of Tampa bay. Plenty of play space for the kids too. And overall, good environment to relax, morning/evening walk, jogging, exercising etc. plenty of parking space, and even a resturant with delicious seafood menu attached. Perfect for a nice day out!

  • Mark Wizda

Excellent little park if you have young kids. They have a decent sized play ground and a splash pad for those hot summer days. The location is right off the water so you could also go there and just enjoy the scenery on one of the many porch swings located along the front walking path. Also there is a decent sized pier if you want to go fishing.

  • Deva Wilson

I found this park after being station at MacDill AFB in 2010. I still frequent the park with the kiddos. But this time was extra special. I took some pictures for my college graduation with my family. Even got to take some in a strangers classic car!!! They have a waterpad, nice park equipment, a seafood restaurant, pier for fishing. Enjoy.

  • Kwanini

This is a good spot in Tampa. It is one of my favorite place to go. You will see the downtown Tampa for there. You can go fishing and spending a good time with family. They also provide a nice play area and free parking. If you get hungry, they have a little nice restaurant right next to the water. It’s super nice to go!! Check it out guys

  • Tina F

I love this park. Great for kids and adults. Relaxing views with a couple of swings near the water. There's a fishing pier also. You can rent pavilions for your party. The only cons I have is the parking is not sufficient for this park. And This park is pretty crowded now especially on weekends. Other than that it's a good park to visit

  • Kae Desvilles

See Tampa at a different angle. Beautiful sunset or sunrise. Park area for your babies and ample exploring space for your fur babies. Enough seating for families to enjoy the views and even a few benches to plop down for a little picnic. There are wild cats at the corner end of the park so have your fur babies leashed just in case.

  • Patricia Blokzyl

I love Ballast Point. It's a quick escape when we want to be around the water and have options to eat at the restaurant by the pier. Not to mention they have public restrooms that are always clean

Quiet , peaceful and you see the great views of tampa bay ! Good place for fishing , jogging . It has children play area, shelters for party and small shop for food . I have been to the park late at night since I don't have any young children.. I love the view and how peaceful it is.. Perfect place to get away when u want alone time n yet be close to home.. My friends that have smaller children enjoy going with them to this park; they make new friends and enjoy their day playing..

  • Ethan Casillas

A fun place to be! I've been coming here since I was extremely young and I don't think I've ever been disappointed. It has both a playground and a splash pad for the kids as well as shaded seats and tables for the adults. The pier gives a perfect view of downtown Tampa and I couldn't recommend coming here more!

  • Marynell Toro

It was a beautiful day. The pier has space like a small platform for fishing. There are places to clean and wash the fish. There is a small place to eat seafood and the place is good. I liked the food there. Nice view of downtown. The place has restrooms and waterfountain. There is a playground and seems nice.

  • Pinay Nanay

We love this park. Since we moved to Tampa, this has been our favorite park. It has a pier where you can spot dolphins, go fishing and play at the playground. It has a nice splash pad as well for kids to enjoy! We have been to the restaurant too and we love their icecream. Parking can be difficult though.

  • Holly D

Came here to fish- arrived early and enjoyed a beautiful day on the pier, practically had the place to ourselves other than occasional folks taking a stroll. Was a great place to cast some lines and enjoy brunch al fresco- also, clean bathrooms right at the foot of the pier. 10/10 will go back, loved it!

What a great park for the whole family. It has a splash area for the kids, playground, horse back riding, a pier for you to take in the view of the water, a swing bench for you to view the water as well. To me, a great park. The only draw back is the parking.

  • Vikas Kapil

Park location is great. For kids there are swings and playground. Splash pad is also good. Only negative thing was cleanliness. I could see broken glass and plastic spread in play area. Parking is slightly tight you may have to drive around to get a spot

  • Janna Rolfe

This is such a nice free park along the waterfront. They have nice piers to walk on and go fishing, nice playground and splash pad for kids. It's also convenient to also take a walk along Bayshore. I like seeing pelicans, other birds, fish and stingrays

  • Tom Atkins

Food good, almost very good. Delightful staff. View is worth the trip. Typical government owned property for public, functional not upscale. Bathrooms like any at interstate rest stops. Restaurant was clean, well kept with beautiful view of Tampa Bay.

  • Z

Wife and I have loved this place for so long! Great walk or ride up the pier. Take in the beautiful waters or natural wildlife swimming or flying around. The squirrels are pretty daring and friendly here too. Bait shop and food shack on premises too.

  • Greg Dee

One of the best viewpoints of Tampa. The pier is very popular for fishing. There is a bait shop on site. Great playground for kids and some nice benches to relax on too. Park your car here and run, walk or bike north out of the park along Bayshore.

  • Jennifer Macmenomay

Small park on the bay with a nice play area and splash pad for the kids. There is a restaurant where you can buy food. You can also fish from the pier. Nice view of downtown Tampa. There is also a beautiful mural on the wall bordering the park.

  • Ernest Hert

Gorgeous with stunning views! All ages welcomed. From fishing to waterpark to horseback or just plain walking around is a great time. Although at night is a different story, teens make out little louder little induced stupidity but manageable.

One of the best parks in Tampa. This place is great for families and friends. Either you like fishing or just walking, the park will be your best escape. Kids will love the place especially the water games, slides and swings ✌

  • Seen Love

Great little park with a walkway following the water's edge. There are two docks to fish from and a small area for kids to play. It's not a huge park but good for a stroll and some nice photo opportunities of Hillsboro Bay.

  • anthony strickland

Nice place to sit...relax..and watch the bay and have great views of downtown Tampa..There is also a small fishing pier there as well. Great little seafood restaurant is also located there....It's called Taste of Boston..

  • Shakira Santos

Adorable park! The swings were great. The park itself was adorable. Not sure how long or big the park is but the little section we visited was nice and pleasant. We were able to see dolphins at night. Nice experience.

  • Rekha H

Lovely place. Well maintained park, kids friendly, great playground. Nice long pier & little cafe, restrooms. Nice place for fishing and relaxing. View of Davis Island is amazing. No entry fee. Small, but parking lot.

  • Angela Wyatt

Great place to let the kids play or just take a leisurely walk. Great views and benches are scattered to sit and enjoy. Clean restrooms are available.
Dog-friendliness
Well behaved dogs on a leash are welcome.

Everytime I visit my hometown..Tama,FL. I visit Ballast Point. Spent lots of time there as a child. Beautiful park. Playground, picnic tables. Large beautiful old Oak trees. A beautiful Mural wall of sea creatures..

  • Robin Bairley

Several play structures, areas to view the Bay to include a fishing pier and boat launch, public restrooms, splash pad and picnic benches. This is a great all around park that encourages getting outside year-round.

  • Maksym Kosachov

My child is in love with this place. It has a very nice and interesting playground and splash pad. The park has a nice view to Bay and down town
Playground
Very good combination of different types of slides

  • Michelle Allat

Very nice park with free parking. It features a splash pad, a toddler playground, and a big kid playground. Picnic shelters and barbecues, a fishing pier, a boat ramp, and an equestrian center across the street.

  • Kim N Williams

This is a very popular fishing pier. There is more parking across the street. The kids will love the playground. There are bathrooms very close by, a restaurant I did not try, and a bait shop with limited hours.

Relaxing environment and well maintained place to bring the family! Awesome views of the bay! Cabanas open to reserve for birthday parties and other events. Close to some amazing food and the Balast Point Pier.

  • Buff_Economist

Very relaxing here. I come and sit on the swings under the trees in front of the bay. Always a nice breeze. Makes for an easy time to read or just clear my mind. I try to make it out here each Saturday morning.

  • Jamie Crowe

A great place to relax or eat your lunch or late night snack! Open 24hrs for the fishing pier and boat ramp/dock. Restrooms, Cafe, and bait / tackle not available 24hrs. Still a great place to play Pokémon Go.

  • Naomi

It's so peaceful and beautiful at night. I take my kids bike riding along Bayshore Blvd and then they play at the park at ballast point. We love it! Bad part is there are quite a bit of aggressive drivers.

  • Diana Williamson

Very nice park worh free parking. It features a splash pad, toddler playground, and big kid playground. Picnic shelters and barbecues, fishing pier, boat ramp, and equestrian center across the street.

  • chank-7

Stumbled upon this little park. The peir was a great place to do some fishing with washing stations set up. Also had a place to launch a boat. Parking was free with clean bathrooms and playgrounds.

  • Kanecia Love-Davis

Very clean and lovely place. I love fishing here as well because the restaurant also sales bait so if you looking to just take a breather for a few hours and/or get the kid out the house it works

  • Ashleigh

A very cute playground to take your kids at. In the summer there is a nice Waterpark to play in. Has a lot of picnic tables to sit at. Very shaded, which is great for the sunny days in Florida.

  • L BHS

I've gone here all of my life for 62 years. It is much fancier now. It's beautiful and the little tackle shop is a nice restaurant. I would recommend going during the week to avoid crowds.

  • Sravan Kumar

Best place to hangout. And many people do fishing here in the early morning. Only disadvantage is there are no public restrooms here. Apart from that everything was good. Feel good place.

  • Charleen Martinez

Lovely, beautiful waterfront park. Wish there was a place to change the kids for the splash pad. The playground equipment can use an update too. The dock is long and great for fishing.

  • Sea Rosario

Great park for a walk, great views, clean pier for fishing. Plenty of space. Great fishing at night. Filly lite. Bait sold at Cafe but does not open until 11am. Food there is AWESOME.

  • K3 Hill

Great beach to stop at. I just stoped for a quick dip. It has the signature soft white sand and is shallow for a bit so its a nice place to float and relax. Parking was easy too.

  • James Irving

The playground is huge and I love that there's a splash pad now. We did think it was a shame that the Taste of Boston closed so early but we'll have to try again another time.

  • Heather Rehka

Hands down best view in Tampa bay! Panoramic view of downtown Tampa & surrounded areas. Beautiful! Great LONG concrete fishing pier. One of my favorite spots in my hometown.

  • Susan Russell

Very nice pier and beautiful views! There is a restaurant there (I didn't try, but menu looked yummy). Free parking and there is a nice park to enjoy. Restrooms were clean.

  • Ethan Kidd-Oyakhilome

Fun little destination to stop by when driving up and down Bayshore. The views are beautiful and I saw a lot of people fishing but parking's rough for cars on busy days

  • scotia wade

Great park. Had good facilities to sit and eat in the park. Everything was very clean.
Picnic area
Very clean. Plenty of tables to sit down and enjoy your food.

  • OurRetiredLife YouTube

A lovely park in Tampa. Parking is free but the lot is not too big so get there early. It was nice walking along the pier and the views of Tampa Bay were beautiful.

  • Mike Masse

Great neighborhood park, right on the bay, with a very large playground and picnic pavilions. A small restaurant and fishing Pier adjoins the property, as well

  • Aseel J

The place has a very long pier. It was nice to walk there. But in general the park was crowded. I wouldn't go back there agaim.
Playground
Big play area

  • Jenn C

Great park! Has a variety of things, playground, splashpad, pier, fishing, boating all in one. More parking would be nice but overall A+ park. My kids love it.

  • Tracy

Nice place to go for a walk or to get ice cream and sit on the swings by the water. You can fish and there's also a boat ramp. Could be a little cleaner.

  • Tucker Brown

We had a great date night here! Stop in the cute surrounding neighborhood and grab some foods and enjoy a great view of downtown tampa and the bay.

  • Peachycheeks2021

I love coming here with the kids. They have everything you would need and that peer is one of my favorite things that they have here. I love it!

  • Angie Clark

Beautiful pier, great splash pad for the kids, boat ramp and restaurant on site. Only drawback is not enough parking buy the fishing pier.
